Governor Sarah Palin signs legislation into law.
By Gary P Jackson.
Last night, once it was clear that Mitt Romney had lost and lost big, Chuck Heath Jr., Sarah Palin’s brother, posted two words on Facebook:
Please God let it be so!

Well, would you get word to our Sarah that the Constitution does NOT require a “budget”! aarrrggghhhh!
Also tell Sarah that I will tutor her on the Constitution for free and privately – just between us. It would be awesome to have a candidate who actually knows what the Constitution means. Imagine! We haven’t had such a candidate for over 100 years.
Article I Section 9 Clause 7 requires a budget be submitted:
No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law; and a regular Statement and Account of the Receipts and Expenditures of all public Money shall be published from time to time.
Shall means REQUIRED genius.
Common sense also dictates it as well. We haven’t had a budget in 4 years. Now the Constitution doesn’t require a balanced budget, but it requires a budget. Alaska’s Constitution, like most states, however, does require all budgets submitted be balanced.
Oh and in case you still don’t understand “shall” and “from time to time.”
Article II Section 3 states in part:
He shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient….
The President is REQUIRED to address Congress as to the state of America. this also happens on a yearly basis.
When Sarah Palin was Governor of Alaska she carried not only a copy of the Alaska Constitution with her anytime she was on the job, but the United States Constitution as well. In fact, she was well known for pulling out the Alaska Constitution when making a point, especially in front of the legislature.
If you knew anything about, well, anything, you’d know these facts.
Let me guess, with that nom de plume of yours. Ron Paul supporter?
Ron Paul didn’t write the Constitution, nor does he, from what I’ve witnessed, have a good working knowledge of it. Neither do most of his supporters.
Thankfully, Sarah Palin does.
Anyone who works against the constitution, is not only an enemy to its existence, but also an enemy of the states in which it represents not excluding to all the people whom reside within them~ The gov is to serve the people and not the other way around and adding, every place Great Britian has touched with their mentalities has fell into shambles~ The longest lasting form of gov in Ancient Rome was only the Republic~
Article 4 Section 4 The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence such as corparate oligarchy intrusion.
Federalist 10 “THE DEMOCRACY “Hence it is that such democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.” James Madison / To premote Democracy anywhere is both dyslexic and inept~”
“Today, as we face financial and political crises, it’s useful to remember that the ravages of the Great Depression hit Germany and the United States alike. Through the 1930s, however, Hitler and Roosevelt chose very different courses to bring their nations back to power and prosperity.
Germany’s response was to use government to empower corporations and reward the society’s richest individuals, privatize much of the commons, stifle dissent, strip people of constitutional rights, and create an illusion of prosperity through continual and ever-expanding war. America passed minimum wage laws to raise the middle class, enforced anti-trust laws to diminish the power of corporations, increased taxes on corporations and the wealthiest individuals, created Social Security, and became the employer of last resort through programs to build national infrastructure, promote the arts, and replant forests. To the extent that our Constitution is still intact, the choice is again ours.”
Not adhering to the wishes of the public to not cause such a debt by responsibly having a budget is in itself obstruction of Gov processes; National Security Threat~ Moreover, debt is what feeds the beast and keeps people in shackles of invisible slavery~ And those who have no empathy toward the public in this regard lack the mentalities to be in high positions~
If I were to shout anything anymore to the corparate oligarchy it would be STAY AWAY FROM THE CHILDREN MINIONS~!
And We the People dont need someone who just knows the Constitution but those who literally, adhere to it; That is Palin, Cain and West~!
GREAT response, Gary! What chutzpah that joker has, suggesting otherwise re the Constitutional requirement for a national budget!! DUH!!
BTW, I’m already willing, able & eager to join the Palin Brigade as soon as it’s up & running!! I imagine that a whole LOT of folks are thinking the very same thing now!!
Indeed. I hate hammering readers, but it was obviously his intent to slam Sarah with his remarks. We don’t need THAT.
Read his profile though [click on the avatar] He claims to be a constitutional scholar. Uh huh.
Not sure what Sarah will do, but I can’t see her sitting back and taking it.
I think I’ve unearthed a reason for Publius’ ignorant (or seemingly ignorant) remark about the Constitution NOT requiring that a budget be submitted: Namely, I read on another site – quite by chance – that another commenter acccused her of saying that the Constitution
required a “Balanced” budget – which, of course, she did not. She did reference the NEED for a balanced budget in principle, but did not link it with the US Constitution – only an actual BUDGET is required by the Constitution.
People are SO ready to pounce on her for even the slightest misstep – even if she didn’t commit the deed! Shades of that fracas caused when she mentioned the actual reason for Paul Revere’s ride (as told to her and her family only minutes earlier by a Park Ranger at the Paul Revere historical museum!).
Oh yeah. BTW, Alaska’s constitution, like most states’ does require a balanced budget.
With Sarah, people, on both sides of the aisle, hear exactly what they want to hear. It’s insane!
