Sarah Palin To Obama: GAME ON!

“We didn’t elect you just to rearrange the deck chairs on a sinking Titanic,” Palin said during a rally in front of the Wisconsin statehouse in Madison. “What we need from you, GOP, is to fight.” Pointing to the national champion University of Wisconsin women’s hockey team, Palin said the GOP could learn from its resolve and “needs to learn how to fight like a girl.”

Did Sarah Palin Just Announce Her Presidential Candidacy?

It certainly seems so!

We’re here, we’re clear, get used to it!

Sarah took on EVERYONE in her fiery speech today in Madison, Wisconsin. She took on the union thug bosses, the feckless GOP establishment, and everyone else destroying America! An estimated crowd of 13,000 braved cold, windy, snowy conditions to attend the event and hear her speak.

To the unions:

A pension is a promise that must be kept. Scott Walker understands this. He understands that states must be solvent to keep their promises. He’s not trying to hurt union members. Hey folks, he’s trying to save your jobs!

Sarah is on record saying Republicans have the fighting instincts of sheep, and today she said they need to learn how to “fight like girls“! This was vintage Sarah Palin. She came out swinging and offered no quarter, took no prisoners.

On The GOP’s timidity while fighting Obama on the budget:

We didn’t elect you just to rearrange the deck chairs on a sinking Titanic!

What we need from you, GOP, is to fight!

She hammered Republican leadership. Leadership that promised to cut $100 billion in spending as an opening shot, then scaled back to $60 billion, then settled on $38 billion, which, as it turns out is all smoke and mirrors.

In reality the Republican’s deal only reduces the budget deficit by a paltry $352 million. That’s about the amount of interest accrued on our $14 trillion dollar debt during the time it took Sarah to give her speech! [give or take a million or two]

Then after some politics as usual and accounting gimmicks we found out — ya know that $38 billion? We’re actually borrowing that $38 billion. That is not courage, that is capitulation.

This, BTW, is why the Republican establishment is working so hard behind the scenes to undermine Sarah and a possible presidential run. She is going to be just as hard on them as she is the Obama regime, and rightly so.

We’ll have more to say on this in an upcoming report.

Sarah went after Obama as being unserious about the debt crisis:

Our president isn’t leading, he’s punting on this debt crisis.

Win the future?

The only future he wants to win is his reelection!

Sarah said in no uncertain terms the battle for 2012 started today in Madison and told President Obama in no uncertain terms “GAME ON!

While not officially an announcement, make no mistake about it, Sarah Palin just threw her hat in the ring.

how sad,it,s 2011 and the person in the room with the largest cojones is a woman. not a dig ladies just an observation

    • Gary P

Exactly! I’m sure Sarah would take that as a complement too.

In Inuit culture there is the tradition of the wise woman. In that culture some women are born leaders and it’s accepted they will do so. Sarah grew up in this culture. She’s a born leader and has been doing so all her life.

Palin’s best speech to date!! She sure “gave ’em hell, Harry!!” and took it to Obama, no punches pulled!! I am SO pumped – THIS is our LEADER!! Palin in 2012!! Say good night, Barry…

Joy, Twitter is going CRAZY over this speech! I mean insane. This was the shot heard around the world. It was a home run!

I think she’s royally pissed. The GOP has caved to Obama, and Obama is well, Obama. This is why the Republican establishment doesn’t want her to run and is doing everything they can to stop her. She will go to town on them just as hard as she will Obama and the rest of the socialists.

She took on the corrupt Republicans in Alaska and sent them to prison.

  4. Best presidential campaign speech I can remember.

    Hey Gary,
Are you still posting over at Hotair? I still lurk there (emailed Ed but got no response)… haven’t seen you over there too much lately.

You’re my favorite poster over there. I think your style is similar to Sarah’s in that you take a no BS approach with the RINO’s.

I saw you make a comment or two on the Romney thread a few days ago, but haven’t seen ya since.

    • Gary P

Thanks, I truly appreciate that. I comment every now and then, but Hot Air has just become a real disappointment. Plus when I’m playing over there I am not doing what I really should be doing, researching and writing! 🙂

I wish I had more hours in the day. I love hammering RINOs and liberals (yeah, I know, pretty much the same thing) just so much going on.

Keep on with Ed and Allah. Let them know you are really wanting to participate in the debate!

I second NHConservative’s comments about you, Gary.

When you went “dark” on HotAir I thought maybe Sarah drafted you for her upcoming campaign. If not, she should!

Thank you. That’s very kind of you.

I used to like HA a lot more. There was a whole group of really solid, knowledgeable commenters there. Often you’d learn more reading the comments than the blog post itself. A lot of the old hands stop posting.

We are going to support Sarah Palin any way we can. She is the real deal. It’s going to be a wild time come 2012!
