Lying Corrupt Bastards At Politico Make Up Palin Quote

By Gary P Jackson

A you know, third tier likely presidential candidate Michele Bachmann’s hired establishment hack, Ed Rollins, decided his first action right out of the gate would be to trash Sarah Palin. Never mind he was saying the same things about Bachmann …. until she started paying him.

For her part, Sarah Palin has ignored the two, as neither deserve her time. Sarah’s Chief of Staff, Michael Glassner did issue a statement about Rollins, which you can read here.

This wasn’t good enough for the gutter snipes who work for Politico though. The left wing website constantly looks for ways to start trouble among Republicans and is notorious for using “anonymous sources” i.e., the voices in their heads. They are also notorious for lying about Sarah Palin and anyone connected to her.

This time they went further than normal. They actually made up a quote and attributed it to Sarah Palin. Under the title Will rivalry make Sarah Palin run? Paul Goldman and Mark J. Rozell [yeah, it takes two of these crapweasels to write this nonsense] wrote the following paragraph: [emphasis mine]

Palin’s bus tour had some of the hallmarks of a primal scream: I built this constituency, not Bachmann, not anyone else. Looking at it through her eyes, she has a point.

Now anyone who’s paying attention knows Sarah Palin routinely rejects the idea that she’s somehow the leader of the Tea Party movement. She speaks quite humbly about her own political strengths. The hacks at Politico give the impression though, that those words came out of her mouth.

SarahPAC has released the following statement on the Governor’s behalf:

An absurd opinion piece in Politico includes a quote attributed to Governor Palin that is a total fabrication and yet is deliberately written to appear as if it is a legitimate direct quote. By any standard this is unacceptable even for an opinion piece. This puts us in mind of a real quote of something Governor Palin actually did once say to the media: “Quit making stuff up.

For those that remember the huge JournOList scandal, it’s good to remember that Politico has more known members of that corrupt cabal, than any other “news” site. Politico engages in gutter journalism and should never be taken as a serious news source. The fact is, they lie when the truth would work better.

  1. Gary I think your blog is outstanding! As for Sarah I have this take:
SARAH PALIN…. Her legendary persona only grows with each of their attempts to sullen her name and accomplishments. Game on in a game they can’t win and have no clue how to play!
Her love of this country and it’s Constitution and founding principles, that has allowed it to evolve into the greatest nation on earth cannot be contested. Her staunch conviction of seeing this country restored to it’s founding fathers brilliant design cannot be contested. They try to discredit her in hopes of breaking our trust in her but it only discredits them in the process!

Thanks Nick. We try! The media has officially shot it’s last bullet today. They have made huge fools out of themselves with this email stupidity..

Pathetic fishing expedition in Juneau – and the dimwits of the LSM will end up with sweet FA when all is said and done. Going home with only the bait they brought to the loading dock… Hope Sarah and Todd and families are having a rip-roarin’ laugh over this insanity (now that the dull, boring and just plain Truth about the emails is out!). Hope they go blind for their transgressions (remember what the priest told his little choir boys…).

BTW, what’s YOUR take on this Gov. Perry thing, Gary? You’re a Texan and I know you like that Governor (given the vibrant economic climate in TX), but what are the chance he’ll actually throw his hat in the ring? And, if he does, what are his chances against the rest of the field?

    Thanks in advance…

I like Perry. He’s done some really stupid things at times, but he’s also some some good. Texas has created something like 80% of all new jobs in the country for the last decade. We are pretty stable, compared to the rest of the country.

If there was no Sarah Palin, he’d make a good alternative to what we currently have. That said, it took Palin to pull him across the primary finish line in 2010. You had the entire Bush dynasty and their minions, like Karl Rove, backing Kay Bailey Hutchison, a useless Senator. Perry had Sarah.

I’ve always thought she’d have him on her short list for VP. The two are buddies.

I hope he gets in, the more the merrier. But if it comes down to Palin vs Perry, Palin wins hands down. She’s got a far better record.

Thanks, Gary – good perspective! I had forgotten his (Perry’s) battle with Kay Bailey Hutchinson in the primary – my God, it’s seems like centuries ago! Yes, Palin was DEFINITELY in the driver’s seat on that one!

Oh yeah, Perry drew crowds of a few hundred. He brought Sarah in on Super Bowl Sunday. They were down in Cypress (Houston) The crowd was off the hook. Oddly enough, Perry spoke before Sarah, because he was smart enough to know they really came to see her.

I posted a poll in the comments somewhere. In a GOP primary Sarah was the leader in a seriously crowed field at 12% Perry was 10 places behind her at 4%. That might change in a more realistic field but my guess is Sarah would win Texas over Perry.

That said I like Perry and think he would make a good POTUS, if Sarah wasn’t a choice. I’m still thinking he’ll be her VP first.
