That Eric Holder is the Attorney General of the United States is all the proof you need that Republicans, especially those in the Senate, don’t give a damn about keeping America and her people safe and free from evil.

Everyone wants Holder’s head on a stick now but we should have never been put in this position in the first place.

Remember, this ain’t Holder’s first rodeo. Holder played a significant role in the Clinton Justice Department.

Back in 2000 the big story was Clinton and his minions sending young Elian Gonzalez back to Cuba, by force, after his mother gave her life to free him from the communist regime.

Thanks to the ritual MSM-Castroite collusion most people forget (or missed) the crucial legal and ethical details of this circus/tragedy — which were mostly established during the first week after Elian’s rescue at sea, after his heroic mother’s drowning. The “son-belongs-with-his-father” crowd, for instance, “missed” (with the help of the MSM-Democratic complex) that Elian’s father was initially delighted that his motherless son was in the U.S. and in the loving arms of his uncles and cousins.

The evidence — frantically buried by the MSM-Democratic complex — was overwhelming. Mauricio Vincent, a reporter for Madrid newspaper El Pais, wrote that during that first week he’d visited Elian’s home town of Cardenas and talked with Elian’s father, Juan Miguel, along with other family members and friends. All confirmed that Juan Miguel had always longed for his son Elian to flee to the United States. Shortly after Elian’s rescue, his father had even applied for a U.S. visa!

Elian’s Miami uncle, Lazaro, explained it repeatedly and best: “I always said I would turn over Elian to his father, when Juan Miguel would come here and claim him. But I (along with practically everyone with experience under communism from Cambodians to Hungarians and from Lithuanians to Cubans) knew such a thing was impossible. He couldn’t do that. I knew it wasn’t Juan Miguel requesting Elian–it was Fidel.”

The legal-weasels forgot (or missed) that on Dec, 1st 1999 the INS asserted that Miami-based uncle Lazaro was indeed Elian’s legal custodian and Florida’s family court indeed the place to arbitrate further issues.

Think about this, Eric Holder was behind the pardon of terrorists who tried to overthrow the government. That alone makes him just as evil as they are. To quote Professor Ayers “Guilty as hell, free as a bird!”

Since being part of the Obama regime, Holder has been able to support terrorists and attempt to destroy America to his heart’s desire. We all know about the dismissal of the convictions against the domestic terrorist New Black Panthers, after members of the violent group were convicted in absentia, after armed members of the group were caught intimidating voters at a polling station.

Americans are familiar with the favors that Eric Holder’s Justice Department extended to Jerry Jackson and the New Black Panther Party. The voter intimidation case against Jackson and two other defendants was dismissed and the inside story is the subject of two chapters of my book Injustice: Exposing the Racial Agenda of the Obama Justice Department. What most people don’t know is that Eric Holder’s DOJ appears to be extending special favors to New Black Panther Jerry Jackson still – namely keeping him out of jail for violating federal firearms laws.

Jackson has a long violent criminal history. He is also a Democratic Party elected official in Philadelphia, not that those two facts have anything in common, of course. He was elected in May 2010 to a seat on the Philadelphia Democratic City Committee in the 14th Ward. No word if he will be in Charlotte for the 2012 DNC convention.

It is illegal under federal law (18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1)) for any felon to possess a firearm. As one federal prosecutor told me, “these cases are among the simplest to win. It’s like taking candy from a baby. Did a felon hold a gun, or not? Period.” It matters not if the gun was loaded, or even works.

Holder is currently under fire for his part in the Obama regime’s biggest scandal to date. The Gunwalker AKA Fast and Furious operation was an effort to put weapons in the arms of Mexican drug cartels and violent terrorist gangs. At least one U.S. border agent has been slaughtered because of this.

In early 2009 Obama, his minions, and their media partners started spreading the story that many of the guns used in violent attacks south of the border were from the United States. This was the latest attempt, in a long line of them, by the democrat party to enact sweeping gun control laws that would violate all Americans’ right to bear arms, as guaranteed by the Constitution.

Tyrants know they must they must disarm the people if they are to succeed. It’s a concept as old as the use of weapons itself.

Fire Eric Holder

It’s tempting to get distracted with the horse race aspect of electoral politics during a primary season. But as pundits talk about “who’s up and who’s down” in the 24 hour news cycle, we must keep our eye on the ball with the Obama administration. They rely on distraction to skirt responsibility, but we’re going to hold them accountable for their corruption and incompetence.

When the stories about Operation Fast and Furious first broke, it sounded too crazy even for this administration.

Why would any government official with an ounce of common sense think it’s a good idea to facilitate the smuggling of thousands of guns into the hands of violent Mexican drug cartels? That’s what Operation Fast and Furious did.

You might think Eric Holder’s Department of Justice was setting up a sting operation in which our federal agents would swoop down and arrest the bad guys the minute the guns traded hands. But that’s not what happened. Eric Holder’s DOJ had American gun dealers sell weapons to “straw purchasers” tied to drug cartels without actually following the movement of the guns as they were then sold to Mexican drug lords. They apparently thought this so-called “gun-walking” operation would help them chart the path of gun smuggling, but they didn’t have a plan to actually control the weapons’ movements as the guns were allowed to “walk” into Mexico. All Holder’s DOJ did was arm violent criminals. What manner of fools do we have working in this administration? What’s next? Supplying nuclear weapons components to the Iranians so we can track their activities?

Fast and Furious isn’t just your typical government incompetence. This is a deadly tragedy. U.S. border agent Brian Terry was gunned down with weapons connected to Holder’s debacle. At least 200 Mexican citizens were also killed by criminals using Fast and Furious weapons. We can only imagine how many more people will be murdered by criminals our government armed.

When an agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives blew the whistle on this operation, the DOJ leaked sensitive information about him to the press. This week, the former U.S. Attorney for Arizona, who was ousted in the wake of the scandal, admitted to being the leaker.

And where is President Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder in all of this? When did he first know about the operation? In his testimony to the House Oversight Committee on May 3, 2011, Holder stated, “I probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks.” But the DOJ’s own documents prove that Holder had been receiving briefings on Fast and Furious for nearly a year before that date. In other words, our government’s top law enforcement official, Eric Holder, lied to the American public. He finally admitted this week to the Senate Judiciary Committee, “In my testimony before the House committee [on May 3], I did say a few weeks. I probably could have said a couple of months. What I said about a few weeks was inaccurate based on what happened.”

When the nation’s highest law enforcement official lies to the American people, he must go.

And if he claims that he didn’t lie, then how else do we explain this situation? He’s either lying or he’s so grossly incompetent and lazy that he didn’t read important life and death briefings from his deputy attorney general and didn’t know about this deadly operation run by people under him. So, which is it? Incompetent, lazy, or lying? No matter which explanation fits, he needs to go.

Holder conceded this week, “I have ultimate responsibility for what happens in the department.” He can prove it by resigning. And if he refuses to resign, then President Obama – with whom the bucks ultimately stop – can prove that he respects honesty, transparency, and accountability in his administration by firing Holder.

I stand with the members of Congress who are calling for Holder’s resignation. I stand with the family members of Brian Terry who are demanding transparency and accountability. Mr. President, where do you stand?

P.S. It can be argued that some elements of this scandal give the appearance of perhaps being intended to be used to infringe on our Second Amendment rights. I invite our President to correct concerned Americans if they’re wrong on this.

It’s good to see Sarah standing up for the American people, as always, but as I wrote at the beginning,this situation didn’t have to happen at all. There was plenty of evidence that Holder would be, at best, a complete and total disaster as Attorney General, and at worst, a terrorist sympathizer working inside the government to cause the United States great harm.

The jury is still out, because who knows what else Holder has done that hasn’t been uncovered yet. I’m leading more toward the purposely harming the United States verdict myself.

Holder isn’t the only lovely Senate Republicans gave a pass to. I think most Conservatives know the name Cass Sunstein. This is a radical communist that believes government should control absolutely everything, and that citizens have no rights whatsoever. He does believe animals have rights though, and should be given lawyers to make sure those rights are maintained.

Sunstein is a serious Marxist loon. You name the evil initiative: population control, confiscation of weapons, death panels, whatever, Sunstein is for it.

Sunstein believes in regulating all speech, one of our most sacred God given rights.

If you’ve never heard of Sunstein before, go read up and be prepared to be scared out of your mind, as the United States Senate confirmed this man to a cabinet position in the Obama regime, with nary a whimper of protest from the Republicans.

Senate Republicans put on a dog and pony show, but never put in any real effort to vet either of Obama’s radical Supreme Court nominees, the two most radical ever to sit on the bench. Instead these two Marxists were praised by Republicans for their supposed intellect and comportment!

This is the problem with the Republican Senators, and elected Republicans in general. They are too timid and too worried about being liked by the democrats, and their media allies, to do their jobs and protect the nation from danger.

The Constitution is purposely vague when it talks about the president, his duties and his responsibilities. The president is given a lot of latitude to work. With that in mind, there are checks and balances, as the founders intended for the three branches of government to be co-equals, and regulate each other.

One of the ways the legislative branch acts as a check and balance to the president is the “advise and consent” clause in the Constitution. Key presidential appointments require the approval and confirmation of the Senate. This amounts to an investigation and an extended job interview by Senate members. This is supposed to be a serious process.

Sadly, it’s become nothing more than a show, with the results determined long before any public hearings take place.

What’s frustrating to someone who actually cares about the health of our Republic, is the difference between the way a nominee from a democrat president and a Republican president is handled.

If a democrat president nominates anyone, no matter how vile of a past they have, no matter how insane their beliefs are, it’s a done deal. Oh, a few Republican Senators might express “concern” and the Conservatives in Senate might vote against, but it’s basically a rubber stamp deal. Republicans put up little resistance.

Now I don’t know if these Republicans really are that cowardly, or just stupid. But I do know that on many occasions, they have put America in harm’s way by not doing their job!

Oh, the Republicans have successfully rejected some of Obama’s far left judicial nominees, and a potential labor board nominee, but that’s the exception, not the rule. It seems they higher the stakes, the more likely the Republicans will just lay down for the democrat president.

On the other hand, let a Republican president nominate someone, even for a minor position that requires Senate conformation. Man it’s all out war!

The democrats, and their media partners, work over time sliming the candidate and use every parliamentary trick ever devised to slow the process, or even stop it. With more important picks, like the Supreme Court, it’s scorched earth!

Democrats famously denied Judge Robert Bork, one of America’s brilliant legal minds, and someone absolutely qualified for a seat on the highest court. In fact, the smearing of Bork was so effective, being “borked” became part of the American lexicon to describe an effective and successful smear job.

More recently the appointment of Ambassador John Bolton to the United Nations was successfully stopped by democrats, with the help of some Republicans, I might add.

President George W. Bush made Bolton the ambassador through recess appointment, but again with the help of liberal Republicans, Bolton’s nomination was denied after the recess appointment expired.

John Bolton is one of the greatest foreign policy minds of our generation. He’s not only consulted with several of the current presidential candidates, he is no doubt the top pick for either Secretary of State or Secretary of Defense for any Republican winner. And yet, he was defeated.

It’s bad enough that Senate Republicans don’t have a stomach for the fight, but it’s unacceptable they allow an obvious national security threat, a terrorist sympathizer like Eric Holder, to become Attorney General.

Come 2012 we have some tough choices to make. There are a large number of seats up for grabs in the Senate. We must replace every senator that isn’t a true and principled Conservative.

No democrat seat should be safe, and neither should any unprincipled Republican’s. We must elect senators who care about the United States more than their status as a member of the “good old boys club“!

Fast and Furious and all of the damage it caused didn’t have to happen. If Senate Republicans had done their job, Eric Holder would have never been in the position to harm America and aid terrorists.

All of the evidence was there. No one cared enough to stop him.

As I continually remind readers we must look at the actual records of these presidential candidates, and ignore their lofty speeches, the same advice goes out to Senate Republicans. Theirs is a solemn duty. The Senate is charged with protecting the nation from people like Eric Holder.

They failed.
