Eric Bolling interviews Brian Lerch from the Iowa Earthquake movement and Kate Obenshain from the Claire Booth Luce Institute.

Brian really shows he has realistic goals for Iowa. Kate Obenshain is towing the party line though. Sort of sad. Seems like she’s conceded that Mitt Romney is going to be the nominee.

Eric does a good job of challenging both and having a great point-counterpoint.

    I agree re Kate Obenshain – esp. after her powerful performance in The Undefeated! OTOH, she did have positive words for Palin, it’s just that she herself is not ready to “go rogue;” after all, she has a political writing career to defend (and protect); and, as we’ve seen, most of these Belway types are NOT ready (ever) to stick their necks out! They can’t afford to NOT be on the cocktail party circuit in future should Dudley Dogood actually win in November! But what I like about the write-in opportunity: It’s a way to express my own Conservative leans AND vent my very real frustration with the current crop of also-rans…
