Ron Paul Joins Democrats in Defeating Sex Selection Abortion Ban, Allowing Genocide to Continue UPDATED

****UPDATED at the bottom of the page*****

By Gary P Jackson

A society is judged by how it treats the least among us. Today, I’d give us an F!

It seems there really is a war on women being waged by the democrat party. A vile, wicked war of death. Ron Paul and six other Republican have joined democrats in supporting this mass murder.

A few days ago pro-life advocate Lila Rose released a disturbing tape recounting an investigation into Planned Parenthood. The tape, made at a Planned Parenthood abortion mill in Austin, Texas, shows a woman talking to one of the workers about aborting her baby, if it’s a girl, because she’d rather have a boy. The Planned Parenthood worker then goes into detail telling the woman, actually an undercover investigator, how to get things done.

Today, Live Action, Rose’s group, has released the full tape documenting this encounter. It’s long, a little over an hour, but is a must see:

We also have tape of her talking with Bill O’Reilly about this despicable practice:

The idea that a mother can just go in and destroy a human being on a whim is sickening enough for most decent people, but the idea of murdering one’s child, just because they are a little girl, rather than a boy, is just too horrific to think about, let alone put into words.

Obviously, this has outraged Americans, and for once, Congress decided to take swift and decisive action. Unfortunately, to try and rush this through quickly, under House rules that limit debate, you need a two thirds majority for the bill to pass. Thanks to Ron Paul, and six other Republicans, the bill failed to receive the required number of votes needed to pass.

Much to their credit, twenty democrats joined Republicans in the attempt to stop this unnecessary genocide.

Republicans who don’t care about the slaughter of little girls, joining Ron Paul, are Justin Amash (Mich.), Charlie Bass (N.H.), Mary Bono Mack (Calif.), Robert Dold (Ill.), Richard Hanna (N.Y.), and Nan Hayworth (N.Y.).

The democrats who DO care about stopping this vile, pagan ritual are: Jason Altmire (Pa.), John Barrow (Ga.), Dan Boren (Okla.), Jim Cooper (Tenn.), Jerry Costello (Ill.), Mark Critz (Pa.), Henry Cuellar (Texas), Joe Donnelly (Ind.), John Garamendi (Calif.), Tim Holden (Pa.), Larry Kissell (N.C.), Daniel Lipinski (Ill.), Stephen Lynch (Mass.), Jim Matheson (Utah), Mike McIntyre (N.C.), Collin Peterson (Minn.), Nick Rahall (W.Va.), Silvestre Reyes (Texas), Mike Ross (Ark.) and Heath Shuler (N.C.).

There were seventeen cowards from both parties who didn’t vote. They are just as guilty as those who voted against the bill. For the complete vote count, click here.

It’s bad enough that, as a society, we put up with the wholesale slaughter of children. The idea of allowing these sex selection murders to continue is incomprehensible to me.

It’s downright evil.

It makes one wonder when it will end. We already murder children just because they are disabled. Recently Bristol Palin, whose brother Trig has Down Syndrome, penned an article talking about the 8% of Down Syndrome babies who are allowed to live.

Scientists are said to be working on a way to determine if a fetus will turn out to be a gay or straight child. Will liberals be so understanding of murder if parents start killing their gay babies? Or will they finally draw the line?

Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, and a hero of the progressive movement, was a eugenicist. It was a popular thought among early 20th century liberals that man could control the “quality” of human beings through selective breeding, and the murder of those who didn’t meet the standards set by these scientists. Sort of an early incarnation of “death panels.”

Sanger and her contemporaries were quite successful. One of her targets were Negroes. She called them “human weeds.” Today a black baby is more likely to be aborted, than born. If you want to see some truly horrific statistics, I suggest readers check out the website Black Genocide for details.

Adolf Hitler was a fan of Sanger’s and other eugenicists. Reading their works inspired Hitler, and Mengele to embark on their journey to create a “master race” of Germans, which ultimately led to the slaughter of six million Jews.

The sort of thinking that allows the mass murder of infants always ends up bad. The inherent evil of it all ensures it will end badly.

There are a lot of battles the American people are fighting. All of them are essential battles. We are battling a big, bloated government, runaway spending, unsustainable debt, and massive losses of Liberty and Freedom. These are all battles we must win, but nothing is more sacred than innocent life. If we can’t stop the slaughter of innocent little girls, then one wonders if we deserve, as a society, to continue.

The liberal mindset has always confused the hell out of me. The same liberals who DEMAND we allow the mass murder of tens of millions of children to continue, unchecked, go crazy when people hunt, fish, or other wise kill animals. Even if they are doing it for food.

The same loud, nasty protesters who show up to protest any attempt to stop abortion on demand, will then go to the local prison to protest the death penalty for some cop killer. In the liberal’s mind, it’s their right to murder innocent children who have harmed absolutely no one, but don’t you dare punish a life long criminal who has killed.

It’s been long said that liberalism is a mental disorder. It’s hard to argue with that.

Shame on Ron Paul for voting with the democrats. This is a character who used the fact that he was a doctor to claim he was pro-life. Has featured in it’s campaigns for years. And yet, when he had a real opportunity to prove it, he sides with the far left. Kind of like when he had a chance to support the Republican ticket in 2008, and help stop Barack Obama, he chose to endorse Communist Cynthia McKinney for president, instead.

Shame on all of the Republicans who care so little about human life. May they all be soundly defeated in their elections.

Shame on those who didn’t vote. That’s a cowards way out.

One more thing. Austin’s Planned Parenthood slaughter house isn’t the only location helping women kill little girls just because they are little girls. Today Live Action released a video from New York City:

NEW YORK, May 31 — Today, Live Action released a new undercover video showing Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger clinic in New York City helping a woman determine if her unborn child was female so she could have a sex-selection abortion. The video is second in a new series titled “Gendercide: Sex-Selection in America,” exposing the practice of sex-selective abortion in the United States and how Planned Parenthood and the rest of the abortion industry facilitate the selective elimination of baby girls in the womb.

The new video can be viewed at www.ProtectOurGirls.com, a hub of research and information on sex-selective abortions.

In the video, Planned Parenthood social worker Randi Coun advises the woman on an early, definitive method to tell the gender of her child in the late first or early second trimester:

So if you were to have what’s called a CVS test, which is, do you know what that is?” she asks, referring to the genetic Chorionic Villus Sampling test. “It’s done between 11 and 13 weeks, so it is a test that you could do now.” CVS tests have a risk of miscarriage of about 1 in 100, which Coun did not mention, and are typically done to test for genetic disorders in a pregnancy.

Coun also reassures the woman that she can carry her pregnancy farther into term before her abortion. “An abortion at any stage up to 24 weeks is considered a safe procedure,” she asserts. ” It’s not that it’s unsafe, or that there’s a lot more risk involved, it’s just there’s more steps involved and it’s just a little more complicated.

Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger Center in New York City does abortions up to 24 weeks of pregnancy and is the organization’s national headquarters.

I can tell you that here at Planned Parenthood we believe that it’s not up to us to decide what is a good or a bad reason for somebody to decide to terminate a pregnancy,” Coun adds concerning the woman’s request for a sex-selective abortion. Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards yesterday opposed a ban on sex-selective abortions on the grounds that it would “limit [a woman’s] choices as she makes personal medical decisions.”

Planned Parenthood has built their abortion empire on their belief that any abortion is a good abortion, even if it is motivated by the very discrimination against women that they claim to abhor,” says Lila Rose, president of Live Action. “Planned Parenthood’s abortion-first mentality leads them to defend targeting baby girls for extermination. When any of Planned Parenthood’s other ideological commitments comes into conflict with their abortion-first mentality, it’s clear that abortion always takes priority.”

Six studies in the past four years indicate that there are thousands of “missing girls” in the U.S. from sex-selective abortion. The U.K., India, Australia, and other countries ban sex-selective abortion, but the U.S., save for three states, does not. This afternoon, the House of Representatives will vote on the Prenatal Non-Discrimination Act (PRENDA), which would ban sex-selective abortions nationally.

Live Action is a youth led movement dedicated to building a culture of life and ending the human rights
abuse of abortion. They use new media to educate the public about the humanity of the unborn and
investigative journalism to expose threats against the vulnerable and defenseless. More information at

I want readers to think about this for a minute: Pretty soon, in New York City, you won’t be able to buy a 20oz Coke, but you can murder your baby girl with no repercussions whatsoever!

Yes, liberalism is a mental disorder. It’s also downright evil.

We must demand these barbaric rituals be stopped.

****UPDATE****

Just wanted to point out this legislation also included a ban on race-based selection as well as the sex-based selection ban on abortions. This is something democrats would rather you not know.

Mark Levin discusses it all here.

****Note to our readers****

We’ve gotten a lot of nasty comments from Ron Paul supporters. Most too vulgar to print. I have however posted the ones that were printable, and have engaged the commenters. Nothing new there, but if readers sense a certain tone to the replies, it’s because I’ve had just about enough of Ron Paul and the cult of personality that surrounds him. And I’m sick of those who have a ready excuse for whatever he does, no matter how far out of the mainstream it is.

I honestly feel that standing with the democrats, standing on the side of pure evil, should be Ron Paul’s lasting legacy. Before leaving Congress, Ron Paul, for once, had a chance to stand for something decent. He failed. So did the other Republicans who joined him.

As always, we’ll post any reply to any article here. However, long incoherent rants, as well as profanity laced tirades will be deleted. Got no time for either.

Exhibit A: Why No Liberal Should Hold Elected Office Anytime, Anyhow, Anywhere

By Gary P Jackson

New York City’s billionaire Mayor, Michael Bloomberg is the epitome of the liberal totalitarian mindset. Besides raising taxes well into confiscatory territory, Bloomberg’s nanny state mindset, the idea that human beings are too stupid to care for themselves, and need a Big Government overlord to keep them from making poor choices, has caused him to ban things normal people eat every day.

This time Bloomberg wants to ban “sugary drinks,” like sodas, sold in sizes larger than 16 ounces at all restaurants, movie theaters, and so on, all across New York City:

New York City plans to enact a far-reaching ban on the sale of large sodas and other sugary drinks at restaurants, movie theaters and street carts, in the most ambitious effort yet by the Bloomberg administration to combat rising obesity.

The proposed ban would affect virtually the entire menu of popular sugary drinks found in delis, fast-food franchises and even sports arenas, from energy drinks to pre-sweetened iced teas. The sale of any cup or bottle of sweetened drink larger than 16 fluid ounces — about the size of a medium coffee, and smaller than a common soda bottle — would be prohibited under the first-in-the-nation plan, which could take effect as soon as next March.

The measure would not apply to diet sodas, fruit juices, dairy-based drinks like milkshakes, or alcoholic beverages; it would not extend to beverages sold in grocery or convenience stores.

Obesity is a nationwide problem, and all over the United States, public health officials are wringing their hands saying, ‘Oh, this is terrible,’ ” Mr. Bloomberg said in an interview on Wednesday in the Governor’s Room at City Hall.

New York City is not about wringing your hands; it’s about doing something,” he said. “I think that’s what the public wants the mayor to do.

A spokesman for the New York City Beverage Association, an arm of the soda industry’s national trade group, criticized the city’s proposal on Wednesday. The industry has clashed repeatedly with the city’s health department, saying it has unfairly singled out soda; industry groups have bought subway advertisements promoting their cause.

The New York City health department’s unhealthy obsession with attacking soft drinks is again pushing them over the top,” the industry spokesman, Stefan Friedman, said. “It’s time for serious health professionals to move on and seek solutions that are going to actually curb obesity. These zealous proposals just distract from the hard work that needs to be done on this front.”

Mr. Bloomberg’s proposal requires the approval of the Board of Health, a step that is considered likely because the members are all appointed by him, and the board’s chairman is the city’s health commissioner, who joined the mayor in supporting the measure on Wednesday.

Mr. Bloomberg has made public health one of the top priorities of his lengthy tenure, and has championed a series of aggressive regulations, including bans on smoking in restaurants and parks, a prohibition against artificial trans fat in restaurant food and a requirement for health inspection grades to be posted in restaurant windows.

The measures have led to occasional derision of the mayor as Nanny Bloomberg, by those who view the restrictions as infringements on personal freedom. But many of the measures adopted in New York have become models for other cities, including restrictions on smoking and trans fats, as well as the use of graphic advertising to combat smoking and soda consumption, and the demand that chain restaurants post calorie contents next to prices.

In recent years, soda has emerged as a battleground in efforts to counter obesity. Across the nation, some school districts have banned the sale of soda in schools, and some cities have banned the sale of soda in public buildings.

In New York City, where more than half of adults are obese or overweight, Dr. Thomas Farley, the health commissioner, blames sweetened drinks for up to half of the increase in city obesity rates over the last 30 years. About a third of New Yorkers drink one or more sugary drinks a day, according to the city. Dr. Farley said the city had seen higher obesity rates in neighborhoods where soda consumption was more common.

The ban would not apply to drinks with fewer than 25 calories per 8-ounce serving, like zero-calorie Vitamin Waters and unsweetened iced teas, as well as diet sodas.

Restaurants, delis, movie theater and ballpark concessions would be affected, because they are regulated by the health department. Carts on sidewalks and in Central Park would also be included, but not vending machines or newsstands that serve only a smattering of fresh food items.

At fast-food chains, where sodas are often dispersed at self-serve fountains, restaurants would be required to hand out cup sizes of 16 ounces or less, regardless of whether a customer opts for a diet drink. But free refills — and additional drink purchases — would be allowed.

Corner stores and bodegas would be affected if they are defined by the city as “food service establishments.” Those stores can most easily be identified by the health department letter grades they are required to display in their windows.

The mayor, who said he occasionally drank a diet soda “on a hot day,” contested the idea that the plan would limit consumers’ choices, saying the option to buy more soda would always be available.

Your argument, I guess, could be that it’s a little less convenient to have to carry two 16-ounce drinks to your seat in the movie theater rather than one 32 ounce,” Mr. Bloomberg said in a sarcastic tone. “I don’t think you can make the case that we’re taking things away.”

He also said he foresaw no adverse effect on local businesses, and he suggested that restaurants could simply charge more for smaller drinks if their sales were to drop.

The Bloomberg administration had made previous, unsuccessful efforts to make soda consumption less appealing. The mayor supported a state tax on sodas, but the measure died in Albany, and he tried to restrict the use of food stamps to buy sodas, but the idea was rejected by federal regulators.

Read more here.

The parts I highlighted show the fallacy in Bloomberg’s plan. Unless he takes this ban to an even more insane level, nothing to stop someone from buying two 16oz drinks to get the amount they want, or at fast food joints, just going back and getting refills. Also note he has no concern that people will have to pay more for the smaller drinks, as he suggests that establishments losing money can just raise their prices!

Downright evil.

People who pay attention know that buying a 32oz drink is normally a bit cheaper than buying two 16oz drinks, so Bloomberg is forcing New Yorkers, who already pay too much for everything, and are taxed to the hilt, to pay even more money.

It should also be noted that this ban doesn’t include alcoholic beverages, which are not only high in calories, but can cause other issues as well.

I really love how dictator wannabe Bloomberg says he occasionally drinks a diet soda “on a hot day.” That superior tone epitomizes the liberal mindset.

Wanna bet Bloomberg drinks a tad bit of alcohol, and not just “on a hot day“?

What’s even more alarming is reading all of the comments over at the New York Times website praising Bloomberg and his ban as reasonable. It’s troubling to see people allow their Liberty and Freedom to be stolen away in the name of the “greater good.”

Being in Texas, everything is big, including our drinks. Of course, it’s hot down here in the summer. For most Texans, a 16oz cold drink is just enough to make you mad, but not enough to quench your thirst! Personally, I drink diet sodas, and water more than anything, and I consume mass quantities. I also drink juices, which are actually as high or higher in sugar content than a regular coke. There are some juice blends that are lower in sugar, but still. Bloomberg, isn’t banning sugary fruit drinks.

This isn’t really about drinks though. It’s about government gone wild. It’s a shining example of the socialist utopia liberals would love to create. These people want to micromanage every last facet of every human being on the plant’s life. They are the world’s worst busybodies.

With all of the world’s problems, and all of the problems in New York City, you have to ask why Bloomberg would waste valuable time, and city resources, on something this repugnant to all free men.

Liberals, in both political parties, are dangerous. They don’t care about a person’s basic rights, or for that matter, believe in personal responsibility. Government has no business regulating the minutia of it’s citizens’ every day lives. Especially when it’s not doing a good job at handling the basic responsibilities it actually does have.

It’s funny, when cities and states started banning smoking in certain places, those who care about Liberty and Freedom warned it was just the beginning. That if we allowed government to get away with it, government would just get bolder. This has come to pass. What started as a simple ban of smoking in restaurants, something almost everyone considered “reasonable,” has turned into zealots going so far as trying to ban people from smoking in their own homes and automobiles.

Government can’t save man from himself. People are going to do what they do. At best, all one can do is make sure people have information. If something is bad, or good, people have the God given right to choose. It’s not government’s place to make that choice for them.

As citizens, it’s time we stand up to tyrants and despots. The reason America had ObamaCare shoved down it’s throat is because too many think government, not free people, know what’s best for mankind. That mankind must be saved from itself.

It’s also a failure to believe in the free markets. Free markets DO work.

Let’s get back to soft drinks, as an example. I’ve always had a bit of a weight problem. It was a real problem when I was racing. Size matters!

Back in the day, diet drinks sucked. They sucked worse after an alarmist scientist at the FDA, Dr. Jacqueline Verrett, used faulty studies to claim cyclamates caused birth defects, and had them banned, “for the children.” [It’s always for the children, unless we are talking abortion, of course, then liberals are all for the wholesale slaughter of children]

Then a funny thing happened. Eventually, soft drink makers had THEIR scientists go to work. Now one is hard pressed to tell the difference between a high calorie soda and one with no calories. That’s the free market doing it’s job. People want a low, or no calorie drink, and they demand it tastes good. Drink makers heard the call, and answered.

There are numerous of examples of the free market responding to the needs of the consumer. When it comes to us fat people, there are more healthy choices than ever before. But that’s exactly what they are, choices. If a person wants to eat healthy, live longer, and not be miserable all the time. It isn’t hard to do.

Now some folks have real issues with weight control, medical issues that need serious treatment. That’s a whole other issue, and no amounts of banning soft drinks is going to cure that. But for folks who just want to keep their weight under control, there are no shortages of options, and the nanny state, Big Government types are not needed.

At some point people have to stand up and say enough is enough. Now we know the sheep in New York City will grumble, but go along with this nonsense. The problem is, what happens in these liberal enclaves migrates out, and into polite society. Liberals, in both political parties, around the country see no problem in destroying your Liberty and Freedom for the “greater good.”

It’s time we all stand up and say no more!

To paraphrase the famous poem by Reverend Martin Niemöller:

First they came for the smokers, and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a smoker ….

You know how that story ends.

For Those Who Are Whining About Sarah Palin Endorsing Senator Hatch: Liljenquist Says He’d Raise Taxes

By Gary P Jackson

A lot of fair weather Conservatives have trashed Sarah Palin because she has endorsed Senator Orrin Hatch over phony Tea Party Candidate Dan Liljenquist in the Utah Senate race.

As I wrote at the time, I think Sarah made her case quite well, and as the video below shows, her choice was a smart one:

Liljenquist has not won a thing yet, and he’s already talking about reaching across the aisle and helping democrats raise taxes! Yeah, he says they must be tied with spending cuts, but as Senator Hatch correctly notes, when asked, the democrats will raise taxes, but the spending will never stop.

We don’t have a revenue problem, we have a spending problem. Orrin Hatch understands this, Dan Liljenquist, just like the democrats, doesn’t seem to understand this, or the fact that raising taxes generally lowers revenues, rather than raising them.

As much as I’m in a “throw them all out on their asses” mood, Senator Hatch is showing why sometimes an old, experienced hand, is good to have around.

Dan Liljenquist is not the sort we need in Washington. We have enough of his type there now, and it’s why the country is in the sorry shape it’s in.

Poll Shows Overwhelming Support For Sarah Palin to be Mitt Romney’s Vice President: What it Means

By Gary P Jackson

An interesting online poll from ConservativeHQ a Tea Party friendly publication. For the past month, they’ve been polling readers about the favorability of 29 different Republicans, and report only 5 got a favorable rating of 50% or more.

Along those lines, they asked who, of those 5, would readers like to see Mitt Romney choose as his running mate. It wasn’t even close, with Sarah Palin receiving 45% of the vote. The closest to here was Jim DeMint with 17%. Interestingly, None of the Above beat out Paul Ryan.

Sarah Palin 45%

Jim DeMint 17%

Rand Paul 15%

Rick Santorum 10%

None of the Above 6%

Paul Ryan 5%

Undecided 2%

As for favorables and unfavorables, the poll looks like this:

Jim DeMint

70%  Favorable
11%  Unfavorable

Sarah Palin

69%  Favorable
16%  Unfavorable

Rand Paul

59%  Favorable
11%  Unfavorable

Rick Santorum

55%  Favorable
20%  Unfavorable

Paul Ryan

50%  Favorable
12%  Unfavorable

Haven’t seen a lot of polling on the others, but the high favorable numbers for Sarah Palin are consistent with every legitimate poll of Republicans and Republican leaning independents we’ve seen over the past few years.

Here are some notable numbers on the other 24 politicians who readers were asked to rate, including some who are considered “good choices for Mitt Romney’s VP.

Rob Portman

6% Favorable
29% Unfavorable

Chris Christie

14% Favorable
37% Unfavorable

Jeb Bush

16% Favorable
28% Unfavorable

Ron Paul

47% Favorable
17% Unfavorable

You can read the entire results here.

I highly doubt Mitt Romney would pick Sarah Palin, nor do I think she would accept the offer. But it’s clear that Mitt Romney need to stop listening to his advisers and the media on who he should pick as his running mate. The base of the party wants absolutely nothing to do with the names being floated around as potential nominees.

Contrary to recent revisionism, the McCain campaign was dead in the water until he picked the dynamic Governor of Alaska as his running mate.

I witnessed a lot of hand-wringing in 2008 after John McCain became the nominee. Lot’s of Conservatives felt betrayed. That feeling is just as intense today, as it ever was, except now it’s all on Romney.

In the end, the good Senator from Arizona sunk his campaign by refusing to vet Obama, suspending his campaign to go push TARP, and of course, hiring the worst political campaign manager and staff in human history. Sarah Palin is good, but even she couldn’t drag McCain over the finish line with all of those handicaps!

Mitt Romney has a good campaign. He’s professional, and on the ball. His style is different than many would like, but unlike John McCain, Mitt Romney has no problem going after President Obama on his record. He will be relentless.

The problem is, many Conservatives do not like or trust Romney. He is going to need to pick a solid Conservative leader as his running mate, or he may face defeat.

I’m not saying he should pick Sarah Palin. Again, not sure she’d even accept the offer. But if he did, it would fire up the base of the party, and he would end up with a highly competent Vice President. One who he could turn a portfolio of responsibilities over to, much as President Bush did with Dick Cheney. He would also have someone who if, God forbid, something happened to him, is ready to be president right now, today.

We’d love to see a Vice President Palin be given free reign to set energy policy for the nation, as President Kennedy gave much of the responsibility for the space program over to LBJ. You can bet we’d be energy independent within a decade. She also is strong on fiscal issues and foreign policy. You’d be hard pressed to find a more competent candidate.

Sarah Palin has been, and is still advocating for Congressman Allen West as Romney’s running mate.

Who are we to disagree?

West is just finishing his first term in Congress, but he was a Lt Colonel in the United States Army, and is a real passionate fighter for Liberty and Freedom.

One of the jobs of the vice presidential candidate is to be the campaign’s attack dog, while the nominee remains above the fray focused on the big picture. Lt Col West would have no problem in that position.

Sarah was great in the role as the campaign’s pit bull, but McCain’s incompetent staff weren’t having any of it. I don’t think Romney’s staff will have any problem whatsoever with someone going after Obama on his record. That’s a target rich environment for someone like West to latch on to and never let go.

There’s a lot that can be discussed, but the real bottom line is the fact that Mitt Romney still has a problem with Conservatives, who make up the base of the party.

Thankfully, most of us will vote for him simply because Barack Obama is just that bad. Unfortunately, that may not be enough.

The media and the “smart people” in the GOP keep telling Romney he needs a noncontroversial “boring white guy” as his running mate. That is filled with nothing but fail. For one thing, we know the democrat party would demonize Mother Theresa if she got in their way. Past that, a boring white guy isn’t going to get volunteers off their couches and into the streets, and it certainly isn’t going have voters chomping at the bits to vote for the GOP ticket.

Remember, it’s not just the presidential race we are looking at. The Republicans MUST win the down ticket races if things are going to change.

Mitt Romney needs to stop playing it safe and choose a real leader, a real fighter as his running mate.

Obviously, Sarah Palin would be the perfect choice, but there are certainly other great choices out there. The ones being floated as potential picks, so far, couldn’t be more disastrous.

My only request is leave the Conservative Senators alone, we need them right where they are!

Dangerous Sarah Palin Stalker Released From Prison Pending Sentencing

By Gary P Jackson

The crazed stalker family that has been harassing Sarah Palin, her attorneys, and friends, are back in the news again.

The father and son team of crazies have been in federal custody since August of last year, after being convicted of stalking Sarah Palin, and others.

In case you are new to the story, Shawn Cristy has been stalking Sarah for years, and even traveled from his Pennsylvania home to Alaska. He sent Sarah a photo of a gun he claims to have purchased, and also promised to rape and kill her, her daughters, as well as a family friend, who also had restraining orders placed on the Christys.

Shawn’s mother was also involved in this years long ordeal, but was not prosecuted.

I should also note the father, Craig Christy left several rather insane and disturbing comments on this blog as we were covering this story. Evidently he’s convinced Governor Palin and his son had some sort of an affair, and now the Palins are out to get him.

Probably why he still has not been released from the federal mental health detention center in Alaska.

From WHTM News:

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) – A 20-year-old Pennsylvania man convicted of harassing Sarah Palin’s Alaska lawyers has been released pending his sentencing scheduled for June 8.

Shawn Christy of McAdoo, Pa., has been in custody since he and his father were arrested in August, most recently at a federal Bureau of Prisons medical facility outside Alaska.

A federal prosecutor says Christy was released and sent back to Pennsylvania this month after the bureau said in a report he was not a danger to the public.

Christy and his father, 48-year-old father Craig Christy, pleaded guilty in January to making harassing phone calls to Palin’s attorneys. Palin attorney John Tiemessen (TEE’-mess-sen) testified in January that the men’s calls threatened both Palin and attorneys.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Retta-Rae Randall says Craig Christy remains at a Bureau of Prisons medical facility, where he received a psychiatric evaluation. It was unknown if the father and son were held at the same facility.

This is the first time I’ve ever seen an entire family of stalkers fixate on one group. Unless you count the Manson family as a real family.

These people need to be locked up, and stay locked up.

Bing and Google Honor Memorial Day Quite Differently

By Gary P Jackson

The two largest search engines, Bing and Google, use their home pages to commemorate all sorts of holidays, birthdays, and so on. Google is notorious in how it remembers certain events though, and how it ignores others.

Bing, on the other hand, never fails to show respect.

On Memorial Day, the two internet giants’ home pages looked like this:

At least Google, which goes all out for holidays like Cinco de Mayo, and May Day [the anniversary of the Communist revolution] had something, but not much, and certainly not enough, considering what it does for other holidays.

I would think honoring those who gave their lives for Liberty and Freedom would be a top priority for those who count on free speech to make a living. Without the sacrifices our veterans have made since our nation’s founding, our free speech rights might not exist as they do today.

This isn’t the first time Google has done this, nor will be it the last.

In June of 2010, we covered how both Bing and Google handled the anniversary of the D-Day invasion.

I’m OK with both Bing and Google doing their own thing, but is it too much to ask for Google to show a little more respect for our troops?

Unreal! Conservative Blogger Aaron Walker Arrested After Maryland Hearing on Kimberlin Case

By Gary P Jackson

I can’t believe what just happened in the Maryland. We’ve talked about convicted murdering domestic terrorist Brett Kimberlin at length.

Kimberlin, a George Soros stooge, and employee of the Obama regime, has been harassing bloggers, making death threats, and disrupting the lives of anyone who dare expose him.

In one of the most incredible, and chilling things I’ve seen in a long time, a Maryland soft on crime judge, has taken blogger Aaron Walker [A.W. in the report linked above] into custody, rather than Kimberlin.

From The Other McCain via Twitchy:

Aaron Walker, whose complaint against convicted terrorist Brett Kimberlin became a conservative cause célèbre this past week, was reportedly taken into custody today after a court hearing in Rockville, Maryland.

One person who attended the hearing in Montgomery County District Court said that Kimberlin asserted that Walker’s continued blogging represented a violation of a “peace order” Kimberlin had obtained against the Virginia attorney, who says Kimberlin tried to “frame” him for assault earlier this year.

During the course of the hearing — which reportedly lasted about an hour — Judge C.J. Vaughey appeared to become increasingly hostile toward Walker, who was taken into custody when the hearing concluded.

On Thursday, May 17, Walker published a 28,000-word account of his experience being targeted by Kimberlin, which soon caught the attention of leading figures in online New Media, including University of Tennessee law professor Glenn Reynolds, who writes the popular Instapundit blog, and bestselling author Michelle Malkin, who warned her readers, “Please remember: Kimberlin is a radical, violent, lying, dangerous felon.”

UPDATE: According to a source, Kimberlin claimed during the hearing that he has received death threats as a result of Walker’s violation of the peace order. In 1981, Kimberlin was sentenced to 50 years in federal prison for his crimes, including the 1978 terrorist bombing that brutally maimed Vietnam veteran Carl DeLong

Here is a copy of the so-called “peace order” that was filed by Kimberlin against Walker:

From what I uhat I understand, Kimberlin is out on parole. He’s been harassing numerous people, including playing a little game called “swatting.” What Kimberlin does, is spoof someone’s phone number into his phone’s caller I.D. [it ain’t hard to do] and then call the police [while pretending to be the person he’s harassing] and then claiming he murdered someone.

Obviously this will illicit a response from the police. What Kimberlin is hoping for is some sort of armed response.

Kimberlin pulled this on Red State blogger and CNN contributor Erick Erickson over the weekend. [more on this later]

What I don’t understand is if Kimberlin is on parole, why in the world is this animal still allowed to wonder the streets. He’s clearly broken all kinds of laws, and put many lives in danger. And this isn’t just some petty criminal. Besides domestic terrorism, Kimberlin is a convicted drug dealer.

Instead of putting law abiding bloggers in jail, Kimberlin must be put back in a hole and left to rot.

We know he’s protected by the democrat party, including the president and George Soros, the self-proclaimed owner of the party, but still.

Currently there are calls on Twitter for a protest this afternoon at the courthouse, and @WisConservative has tweeted:

Please Contact Maryland State Attorney To Politely, Respectfully Ask Justice For Aaron Walker http://t.co/VFZHqMLT

Follow the Twitchy link above to see any updates, as well as a sampling of what is being said on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Michelle Malkin has a must read “blogger to do list

The democrat party has declared war on Freedom and Liberty. This must not stand. This cannot stand.

ABC News Allows Ted Shpak To Lie About Sarah Palin on Memorial Day, Again

By Gary P Jackson

I hate to bring this up on the day we honor our fallen troops, but this is the second Memorial Day in a row that Rolling Thunder’s “legislative director” Ted Shpak has found a willing reporter, this time Matt Negrin, at ABC News, who would allow him to smear Sarah Palin.

We had enough problems last year with Sarah Palin. She came out last year and said she’s speaking, and she’s bringing her bus and starting her tour, and that wasn’t happening. I went ballistic when I heard that. One of our members invited them who had no business to invite her.  She showed up. Don’t come in the way she came in. It was a sad site to see. If she had just came like everybody else, I’d say it was OK. That’s not the way it happened.

If you remember, Sarah Palin was invited to ride with the heroes from Rolling Thunder, a wonderful group who are dedicated to making sure no one ever forgets those who were held as prisoners of war, or are missing in action.

Sarah wasn’t invited to speak, and had no intention of speaking to the group. That’s not what Rolling Thunder is even about. It’s about the ride, and as this report shows, she was just another rider in the crowd.

In fact, when reporters crowded around Sarah and her family, as she spoke with veterans who were riding, some rather large bikers ran the reporters off! And they weren’t real nice about it!

This wasn’t a media event, it was about honoring the troops. Last year it was Ted Shpak and MSNBC that turned it into a circus. I guess Shpak is looking for another 15 minutes of fame.

Todd and Piper rode on one bike, while Sarah Palin rode with Petrina Herman, a professional models agent [and fiancée of Harley-Davidson dealer New York Myke] of San Diego.

As we reported at the time, Sarah and her family were not only invited, she was well received by the riders. For some reason Shpak, a man of questionable character and agenda, decided to go on the far left MSNBC “news” network and bash Sarah. A disgraceful act.

Also at the time, ABC News’ Sheila Marikar reported: “Rolling Thunder announced Thursday that Palin accepted an invitation to participate in its May 29 rally

The Washington Post reported that Nancy Regg, a spokeswoman for Rolling Thunder, had confirmed Sarah had been invited and was planning to ride. You can read more here.

In a follow-up article it was noted that the invitation came from a retired Rolling Thunder board member, Michael DiPaolo, who had connections in Alaska and got the Palins to agree to attend.

You can read more about that here.

On May 29th of last year, in response to a read I wrote:

I had never heard of Shpak before Friday, but did some digging. I have decided not to embarrass Rolling Thunder by publishing my findings, but it’s sufficient to say Shpak dishonors the group with his membership.

I still feel the same way. Rolling Thunder is a wonderful and patriotic group. We need more folks like them. That said, if anyone wants to do their own research on Shpak, they’ll understand what I said and why I said it.

Of course, we can’t excuse Matt Negrin of ABC News, a character who seems to have a habit of smearing Sarah Palin.

It’s sad that people like Shpak and Negrin soil the memories of our fallen heroes, with unnecessary lies, to push their own agenda. I guess every crowd has it’s share of weasels.

I’d much rather remind America what Rolling Thunder is really about. Here’s a moving video from last year’s ride. A solitary Marine holds vigil, at full attention, during the Rolling Thunder rally in tribute to fallen comrades:

God bless all of those who serve. And God bless those who keep the memories of those who have fallen alive.

Tea Party Express Sends Mobile Call Center to Texas for Ted Cruz

By Gary P Jackson

A quick note from Tea Party Express:

We have sent the Tea Party Express “Mobile Call Center” down to Texas for the final push before TOMORROW’S election!

Sorry to interrupt your Memorial Day, but we here at the Tea Party Express want to thank you for your support of conservative Texas U.S. Senate candidate Ted Cruz and want to show you what we are doing to ensure that conservatives show up to the polls tomorrow to vote.

In a campaign first, we have harnessed cutting edge technology with good old fashioned Tea Party passion and present to you the Tea Party Express “Mobile Call Center“.

The Tea Party Express “Mobile Call Center” is traversing across Texas calling on conservatives to get out and vote

The “Mobile Call Center” is much like a traditional call center but it gives us the flexibility to travel from city to city picking up volunteers and gathering excitement for Tea Party candidates.

Reagan always said the power of a democracy is in an informed and engaged electorate. The Mobile Phone Center Bus is one of our ways to create just that. Ted Cruz, along with local Tea Party volunteers, will be joining us to utilize this state-of-the-art technology to make calls to voters. We will have 15 workstations on the bus, each with its own laptop and headset. Volunteers will have the opportunity to call their fellow Texans, share Cruz’s conservative credentials, and encourage voters to turnout at the polls.

This new strategy will extremely effective in turning out conservatives, but there is significant cost associated with its execution. We are calling on all Tea Party supporters to make a contribution to help us keep the “Mobile Call Center” rolling!

As we mentioned, the “Mobile Call Center” is down in Texas educating voters about Ted Cruz. The Tea Party Express endorsed Texas U.S. Senate candidate has gotten national attention recently due to his surge in the polls, the Tea Party Express rallies throughout Texas supporting his candidacy, and the endorsement of Sarah Palin.

The election is only 1 DAY away! We must build on the momentum that Sarah Palin, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Mark Levin, Rand Paul and other conservatives have provided us with. The polls are tightening and Ted Cruz is closing in on his opponent David Dewhurst.

Just like in Indiana, the Tea Party candidate is surging at just the right time, but we need your immediate support to push him ahead!

Governor Sarah Palin wrote:We’re proud to join conservatives in Texas and throughout the nation in supporting your (Ted Cruz) campaign to become the next Senator from the Lone Star State.

Will you stand with Governor Palin today and contribute $25, $50, $100 or even $250 to build our momentum?

If you haven’t heard about Ted Cruz, here is a little about why we have endorsed him and are fighting to send him to Washington:

Ted Cruz is a self-professed child of the Reagan revolution. His parents fled Cuba after experiencing an oppressive government and instilled in Ted a profound respect and appreciation for freedom. He understands that it is not our government that makes America run, but our entrepreneurial spirit. He made money as a kid by reciting the Constitution from memory to Rotary Clubs in Texas and giving speeches on free-market economics.

As Solicitor General of Texas from 2003-2008, Cruz authored 80 U.S. Supreme Court briefs and personally argued 40 oral arguments, including 9 before the Supreme Court. Named “a Republican star rising in Texas” and “a great Reaganite hope” by the National Review, Ted Cruz has led the fight against Obama’s offshore drilling moratorium and for private property rights for Americans. His “Growth and Jobs Agenda” promotes a limited government plan that pledges to repeal ObamaCare and Dodd-Frank, kill Cap and Trade, and dramatically simplify the tax code.

Ted Cruz at the Tea Party Express Endorsement Press Conference in Dallas, Texas

We were honored to travel around the great state of Texas with him last month to endorse his campaign and hope that you will be as excited as we are about his candidacy. We just held numerous rallies for Ted Cruz all across Texas this last week to rally support as part of our “Restoring the American Dream” bus tour.

We have a great candidate that we all need to support to send him to Washington!

One of Tea Party Express’ top priorities in 2012 is to elect a conservative majority to the U.S. Senate, and thanks to patriots like Ted Cruz, we are well on our way to doing just that. But we need your support if we are going to be successful and finish the work we all started in 2010.

Donate $25, $50, $100, $250, $500, $1000, or even more! Click here to contribute now!
