Evil Tyrannical Bastard Barack Obama to Shut Down Drilling on 1.6 MILLION Oil Rich Acres of Federal Land

By significantly reducing the acreage of wilderness potentially available for leasing, Secretary Salazar is laying out a creative, thoughtful and more responsible approach in managing some of our most precious resources,”

No doubt most of our readers have at least heard of the Cloward-Piven Strategy of Orchestrated Crisis, many have a solid knowledge of how it works and what it’s supposed to do. If not, I suggest you do the research.

To anyone paying attention it certainly looks like Barack Obama has been following Cloward-Piven to the letter since he took office in 2009.

First described in detail in the May 2, 1966 issue of The Nation [a communist run magazine] by a pair of radical socialist Columbia University professors, Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven. The concept is simple:

The strategy of forcing political change through orchestrated crisis. The “Cloward-Piven Strategy” seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.

Remember, former Clinton and Obama henchman, and now Chicago Mayor, Rahm Emanuel once famously said “never let a crisis go to waste.” He too is a student of the Cloward-Piven method.

In 2008 James Simpson writing for American Thinker in a piece called Barack Obama and the Strategy of Manufactured Crisis noted:

In an earlier post, I noted the liberal record of unmitigated legislative disasters, the latest of which is now being played out in the financial markets before our eyes. Before the 1994 Republican takeover, Democrats had sixty years of virtually unbroken power in Congress – with substantial majorities most of the time. Can a group of smart people, studying issue after issue for years on end, with virtually unlimited resources at their command, not come up with a single policy that works? Why are they chronically incapable?

One of two things must be true. Either the Democrats are unfathomable idiots, who ignorantly pursue ever more destructive policies despite decades of contrary evidence, or they understand the consequences of their actions and relentlessly carry on anyway because they somehow benefit.

I submit to you they understand the consequences. For many it is simply a practical matter of eliciting votes from a targeted constituency at taxpayer expense; we lose a little, they gain a lot, and the politician keeps his job. But for others, the goal is more malevolent – the failure is deliberate. Don’t laugh. This method not only has its proponents, it has a name: the Cloward-Piven Strategy. It describes their agenda, tactics, and long-term strategy.

Since then, we have seen Obama and his minions work Cloward-Piven like a champ. They’ve doubled the number of Americans on food stamps, and record numbers have been added to the disability roles. On top of that, Obama has added $5 TRILLION to the national debt, with absolutely nothing to show for it. [except the pending collapse of it all]

Various Obama departments have instituted draconian regulations designed to kill off many businesses and further send the economy into decline.

What does that have to do with shale oil? Well, shale is one of America’s real success stories. Obama and his thug government have declared war on all of our natural resources. Coal, oil, and natural gas, the only reliable sources of energy we have, are now considered great evils by the regime, though it’s OK to import all we want and enrichen terrorist nations who want to kill us.

At a time of high unemployment, a worsening economy, and skyrocketing prices, one of the real bright spots is shale oil and natural gas.

Obama looked into the camera at the debates and lied to the American people about our supposed increase in oil production, all the while knowing his diabolical plan to close even more land to exploration would be implemented as soon as he won re-election. Three days after the election, here came the news:

The Interior Department on Friday issued a final plan to close 1.6 million acres of federal land in the West originally slated for oil shale development.

The proposed plan would fence off a majority of the initial blueprint laid out in the final days of the George W. Bush administration. It faces a 30-day protest period and a 60-day process to ensure it is consistent with local and state policies. After that, the department would render a decision for implementation.

The move is sure to rankle Republicans, who say President Obama’s grip on fossil fuel drilling in federal lands is too tight.

Interior’s Bureau of Land Management cited environmental concerns for the proposed changes. Among other things, it excised lands with “wilderness characteristics” and areas that conflicted with sage grouse habitats.

Under the plan, 677,000 acres in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming would be open for oil shale exploration. Another 130,000 acres in Utah would be set aside for tar sands production.

The administration and Democrats said that while the plan would curtail what was originally sought for oil shale development, it still opens up a significant amount of land that was previously unavailable for the energy production method.

The administration noted the plan pushed forward Friday also included two research, development and demonstration (RD&D) leases for oil shale development.

The proposed plan supports the Administration’s all-of-the-above approach to explore the full potential our nation’s domestic energy resources and to develop innovative technology and techniques that will lead to safe and responsible production of resources, including oil shale and tar sands, which industry recognizes are years from being commercially viable, but require RD&D today,” Interior spokesman Blake Androff said.

Sen. Mark Udall (D-Colo.) praised the plan, saying the administration exercised the right amount of caution on oil shale development, which has not yet been brought to commercial scale and brings concerns about the amount of water used in the practice.

I am glad the Interior Department is taking measured steps to encourage research and development of our oil shale resources. With water being one of our most precious commodities in the West, I have concerns about the potential impacts of commercial oil shale development. Nonetheless, I look forward to seeing this technology explored further,” Udall said in a Friday statement.

Oil shale development is not to be confused with drilling into shale formations for oil and natural gas. The practice, which involves separating hydrocarbons bound up in rocks, has not been widely executed since Exxon’s failed Colorado venture in the 1980s.

Bobby McEnaney, senior lands analyst with the Natural Resources Defense Council, praised Interior Secretary Ken Salazar for the proposed final plan.

By significantly reducing the acreage of wilderness potentially available for leasing, Secretary Salazar is laying out a creative, thoughtful and more responsible approach in managing some of our most precious resources,” McEnaney said in a Friday statement.

Congressional Republicans are not likely to be as pleased.

GOP lawmakers, along with some Democrats, have pushed for more fossil fuel production in the West. Republicans have led the charge, saying Obama’s policies on fossil fuel drilling on federal lands are too restrictive.

While Obama notes domestic oil-and-gas production has increased during his administration, Republicans contend that it is activity on private and state land that is driving the boost. They point to this year’s dip in oil-and-gas production on federal land — though levels are still higher than they were during the Bush administration.

The Congressional Western Caucus released a report in August to deliver that message.

This proposal will place further limitations on the exploration and development of our country’s natural resources and is yet another example of how this administration continues to stand in the way of North American energy independence,” Rep. Ed Whitfield (R-Ky.), the chairman of House Energy and Commerce’s subcommittee on Energy and Power, said in a statement to The Hill.

Oil and gas lobby the American Petroleum Institute, an ally of congressional Republicans, slammed the decision.

Jack Gerard, the group’s chief, said Thursday he would take a “wait-and-see” approach to Obama’s second term to gauge whether he would live up to campaign rhetoric in which he praised the domestic oil-and-gas industry.

Reid Porter, the lobby’s spokesman, said Friday’s news was a disappointing sign from the administration.

This is another step in the wrong direction that limits development and investment in one of the nation’s most energy-rich areas and goes against a prior government decision that would allow for research and development over a much wider geographical area. Just days after the election this decision by the administration sends negative signals to industry and capital markets at a time when we need to encourage growth and innovation in the U.S.

This is ludicrous. It makes no sense at all. Unless, your intention is to destroy America, then it makes perfect sense!

As we noted when exposing Hollywood anti-fracking shill, Matt Damon, who’s new propaganda film was funded by Saudi oil sheiks:

While total world resources of oil shale are conservatively estimated at 2.6 trillion barrels, The United States sits on TWO TRILLION barrels of that crude. More than all of the crude that was ever produced worldwide since the petroleum age began.

We have enough shale oil to be 100% energy independent for hundreds of years, and to create millions of jobs. Good paying, durable jobs. And yet, this evil regime is stopping us from just that.

And it’s not just oil, but the natural gas locked away. Recently I noted that an AGA Study: Natural Gas [Shale] Has Created 334,000 Jobs Nearly $250 Billion in Customer Savings.

Besides shale, there are 1.67 QUADRILLION [1,167 TRILLION] cubic feet of natural gas in the Arctic, just waiting to be harvested. Natural gas is the clean, green, miracle fuel we have been told the regime and all of the radical environmentalists want, and yet ….

The President claims he wants to create jobs but here’s one of the greatest jobs programs one could ever ask for. Becoming energy independent would jump start the economy, and grow all sorts of businesses. Oh, and create millions of new taxpayers and tax revenue. The only reason the regime is doing what they are doing is to purposely destroy America.

Barack Obama was taught to hate America at an early age. His parents were communists, as were his grandparents. He was mentored by radical Anti-American communist Frank Marshall Davis. In his book, Obama brags about seeking out the radicals among students and professors alike. It shows.

The election is over, but the fight is not. People who love America can no longer sit still as Obama and his radical democrat party destroy us all. We can’t count on the spineless Republican Party to look out for us, so it’s time we look out for ourselves. It’s time to start being heard. Time to let it be known that we will no sit idly by as America is destroyed from within.

Obama is an evil tyrant. An enemy of the American people. He represents a Clear and Present Danger to all peoples everywhere. So does his democrat party.

  1. Maybe we should start by challenging the election results:

  3. I agee – O is an evil, tryrannical bastard.

I’m not sure why he lost, but the more I look at MR, the more I think he should have lost. The GOPe offering was a slap in the face to the TPM and all constitutional patriots.

I think Romney was a wrong candidate x 1000. I agree with SP, listen to what they say, but it’s more important to look at what they’ve done. When MR had political power, he governed as a ‘serious’ progressive. Pro big, strong (expensive, intrusive) government everything. Socialized healthcare – mandatory. Pro-‘Cap and Tax.’ Anti-gun laws. Etc., etc., etc.

I understood ABO, and nobody short of SP could have convinced me to, “Let’s give Mitt Romney a try.”

But while I don’t believe O winning is just – MR winning would not be justice either. Not to the TPM, not to any other patriots of our exceptional constitutional republic.

Will the bulk of patriots be convinced to vote for a lesser evil in 2016? Like a Bush/Rubio over Clinton/Biden? I don’t know about the bulk, but I’m never voting for a lesser evil again. Why will their behavior change, if they good reason to believe our behavior won’t?

“Resist evil; conquer it with lesser evil.” No . . . That’s not it.
“Resist evil; conquer it with good.” Yes . . . That’s it.

The GOPe can go to heck if they continue to try and diminish the TPM and SP. By doing so, they try to diminish the voice of all patriots. If they continue to try and diminish my voice, I’ll do all I can to diminish them.

I think our government is corrupt, both halves, the D and the R. Just differently corrupt, especially on the outside.

I’ve drawn my thin red line, and I hope all patriots do, so that by 2016 the GOPe sees clearly who they’re messing with. Will the GOP become ‘We the People’s’ party as it should be? United we stand and we win. But if they just slap us in the face again, we slap back – harder.

I know Romney wasn’t ideal, but as evil as Obama is, there is no excuse for people not voting for him. Getting rid of Obama was that important. We could have always gotten rid of Obama in 2016.

THIS is a catastrophe! One that was 100% avoidable. But there is enough blame to go around. The GOP is useless. Spineless and weak, unless they are attacking Sarah Palin and the Tea party, of course.

Gary, In my opinion, it’s just starting. It’ll get worse from now on!
