Politico, Slate, and Atlantic Smear Sarah Palin, Claim Government is Stockpiling a Billion Deadly Hollowpoint Rounds “For Training”

You can always tell when Sarah Palin scares the bejeezus out of the Obama regime and it’s disciples. Not only does the corrupt media snap to attention, these so-called “journalists” all publish, basically, the exact same content. Rather transparent.

The latest thing that has the regime up in arms is Sarah’s last Facebook post. In her post Sarah takes the D C politicians, in both parties, to task, telling them to “grow up and get to work!” While the Conservative world read her entire post, and legit media republished the post in full [for the most part] dishonest brokers like Politico chose to focus on one specific part of Sarah’s post, in order to gin up hate among their democrat readers: [emphasis mine]

If we are going to wet our proverbial pants over 0.3% in annual spending cuts when we’re running up trillion dollar annual deficits, then we’re done. Put a fork in us. We’re finished. We’re going to default eventually and that’s why the feds are stockpiling bullets in case of civil unrest.

Politico, Slate, The Atlantic, and others have all come to the aid of the regime. Politico quotes the Washington Post to back up their slanderous accusations:

While government agencies are, in fact, purchasing large amounts of ammunition, they are doing so for training exercises and shooting ranges, according to federal officials. The Washington Post last month summed up the Department of Homeland Security’s buying of more than 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition for training with an article headlined, “Not so sinister: Homeland Security is stockpiling ammo for target practice.”

First of all, 1.6 BILLION rounds is a whole lot of ammo! Secondly, a significant amount, in the hundreds of millions, of these rounds are HOLLOWPOINT rounds. One doesn’t use hollowpoints for target practice, because … for one thing … they are prohibitively expensive. They simply cost too much to shoot at paper targets.

Second, and most importantly, hollowpoint rounds only have one usage, to inflict the maximum amount of damage to the human body. These are not the sort of bullets you use if you just want to wound someone. They are for killing someone, and killing them in a spectacular manner. You use hollowpoints when you absolutely, positively want to kill EVERYBODY!

These corrupt websites also use Snopes as another source to re-assure the geniuses who read their websites [and actually believe the malarkey] that Sarah Palin is bad, the Obama regime good. Remember, Palin is an idiot, and Obama is the benevolent leader who only brings love and good cheer. [I just threw up in my mouth a little]

The problem with using Snopes to debunk anything, is the fact that Snopes itself, has been debunked as a less than legit source of “debunking,” at least when it comes to politics. There is a definite political bias. This is not something new either. Back in 2003 John Berlau wrote about Snopes tendency to leave out certain facts that might not fit the narrative they were looking to create. In 2009 Ron Springfield pointed out numerous cases of liberal bias, with Snopes even contradicting themselves within the same article.

For those that don’t know, Snopes is essentially Barbara and David Mikkelson, a California couple who started the website as a hobby in 1995. The couple claim to be apolitical, even noting that Barbara is Canadian, thus not allowed to vote [like that means anything] but all one has to do is look through their site to see the bias.

All of the controversy over Snopes aside, what kind of journalist uses a site like Snopes as the go-to source when it comes to serious news reporting. Evidently the hack kind.

Oh, and these corrupt journalists also managed to tie Sarah Palin [and even Mark Levin] to conspiracy theory whack job Alex Jones, who evidently has his own mind-numbingly stupid take on the hoarding of rounds.

Here’s where I take a break from exposing the corrupt media to say a few words about Alex Jones and the loons who frequent his website. You people do the cause of Liberty and Freedom great harm. With daily rants about FEMA camps and “prison trains with shackles” [that turn out to be automobile carriers] Alex Jones and his fellow travelers make it impossible for people to talk about ACTUAL threats to our personal sovereignty.

There ARE people in our government that have a wicked agenda. There have ALWAYS been people within our government that have a wicked agenda. With Obama, we are experiencing evils that no one could have ever imagined possible in America. That said, wild-eyed conspiracy theories, and crack pot schemes, have no place in serious debate. Too many real threats to have time for the loons. Sadly, for those who don’t actually pay attention, those low information voters we all speak of, it’s not always easy to sort the truth from the craziness. In the end, everyone is labeled as “crazy” and legit concerns are laughed off as ramblings from a bunch of wing-nuts.

OK, rant off.

While Politico and the rest are doing their master’s bidding, real journalists, well respected journalists, like Anthony Martin, have covered the ammo hoarding story quite well. Martin notes the feds are stockpiling deadly ammo at a rate roughly 10 times of that used yearly during the Iraq war.

Hard to swallow the notion all of them bullets are for “target practice.”

In August of 2012 Martin wrote:

News reports indicating that multiple agencies of the federal government have ordered and are stockpiling multimillions of rounds of ammunition have pressured the Feds to offer an explanation. But the official explanation has only raised more questions.

On Friday the government stated that the hollow point bullets it has procured are “standard issue” and that they are used to train security agents used by each of the various federal agencies.

However, according to retired Maj. Gen. Jerry Curry, a decorated Army war veteran, the Feds’ explanation about the bullets fails to pass the smell test.

When this reporter first heard the government’s explanation for the hollow point bullets, the warning bells immediately rang indicating a cover up. As every gun owner knows if they are serious about developing and maintaining their shooting skills, the type of bullets used for practice at the firing range are normally different from the ammunition one would use when getting the firearm set to be used in the event of a home invasion or other situations in which one’s life is in mortal danger.

Firing range bullets are much less expensive and are not designed for the day to day use of the gun for maximum self protection. One uses the more expensive variety, such as hollow point bullets, for real-life danger.

Thus, immediately this reporter knew that when the government claimed that its agencies had purchased multimillions of rounds of hollow point bullets for “practice and training” at the firing range, something was amiss. Most citizens are likely unaware that such ammo is not used for practice and will accept the government’s explanation at face value. This is in all likelihood what the Feds are counting on.

He goes on to quote General Curry:

Hollow point bullets are so lethal that the Geneva Convention does not allow their use on the battle field in time of war. Hollow point bullets don’t just stop or hurt people, they penetrate the body, spread out, fragment and cause maximum damage to the body’s organs. Death often follows.

So the federal government is stockpiling ammo that only has one purpose, to cause maximum damage to the human body, resulting in death, and then lying to the public as to why. Don’t pay any attention to that though, because Sarah Palin is crazy, or something.

In addition, Curry noted that during the Iraq War the U.S. military used 70 million rounds of ammunition per year. Compare that with the 750 million rounds of hollow point bullets that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) ordered in March. And then it further ordered another 750 million rounds of various types of ammunition, some of which can penetrate walls.

General Curry is quotes as saying:

his is enough ammunition to empty five rounds into the body of every living American citizen. Is this something we and the Congress should be concerned about? What’s the plan that requires so many dead Americans, even during times of civil unrest? Has Congress and the Administration vetted the plan in public.

I fear that Congress won’t take these ammunition purchases seriously until they are all led from Capitol Hill in handcuffs. Why buy all this ammunition unless you plan to use it. Unknown to Congress, Does DHS plan to declare war on some country? Shouldn’t Congress hold hearings on why the Administration is stockpiling this ammunition all across the nation? How will it be used; what are the Administration’s plans?

So let’s recap:

*The federal Department of Homeland Security has bought up over one BILLION rounds of ammunition to stockpile.

*That’s enough ammo to fight the Iraq war, at the peak of action, for at least 10 years.

*And this ammo is designed to rip the human body to shreds on impact, and can even penetrate walls.

*According to Obama’s lapdog media, Americans needn’t be concerned, these billion plus bullets are merely for target practice.

*Oh, and Sarah Palin is a stupid poo-poo head for ever mentioning any of this.

Does that about cover it?

Common sense, and a working knowledge of history, tells us the government is being less than truthful, and frankly, their media partners are not all that skilled in selling the big lie. You have to be a very special kind of dumb to fall for the left wing spin on this.

One doesn’t have to be a raving lunatic conspiracy theorist to understand what the Obama regime is preparing for. Throughout history, when civilizations have collapsed, panic and pandemonium ensue. Look at the insanity after Katrina, for example. You had rampant violence, criminal activity of all sorts. That was just a natural disaster, but all forms of human decency were put aside as people just ran wild.

Then we look at Obama’s deliberate destruction of America. All one has to do is read a bit of Cloward and Piven’s little essay, and understand that both professors have close ties to the democrat party, and have influenced presidents with their theories on how to destroy America, to get it. Cloward and Piven suggested one run up unsustainable debts, debts so high they could never be repaid, fill the welfare and entitlement programs to the breaking point, then sit back and wait for the whole thing to collapse. Obama has been using their playbook as his blueprint for governing. Obama has done all of these things, and more.

When the nation collapses, and it certainly will with the bunch of reprobates we have in Washington [in BOTH parties] it stands to reason violence will break out and many will look to “settle scores” with those in government who allowed the greatest nation ever created to go straight to hell. That’s just human nature.

Politico quoted Mark Levin in their piece as saying:

Law enforcement and national security agencies — they play out multiple scenarios. They simulate multiple scenarios. I’ll tell you what I think they’re simulating: the collapse of our financial system, the collapse of our society and the potential for widespread violence, looting, killing in the streets, because that’s what happens when an economy collapses

Levin is right. It’s what happens, and it’s the only reason Homeland Security, not really a law enforcement body, is stockpiling over a billion rounds designed to kill human beings. I’m the last person to engage in conspiracy theories, but common sense, and a working knowledge of both history, and how the fiendish liberal mind works, tells me something just isn’t right.

Politico’s Kevin Cirilli, Slate’s Josh Voorhees, and The Atlantic’s Alexander Abad-Santo can pretend they have pulled the wool over their reader’s eyes, but they are only fooling themselves. None of these people have a shred of credibility, and printing outright lies about Sarah Palin, while carrying the regime’s water, isn’t going to give them a bump in the credibility department any time soon!

Frankly, I’m tickled that Governor Palin brought this up. Though many of us have known about this stockpiling, with all of Obama’s other evil doings, it’s not a daily topic. Looking at all of the comments on these dishonest websites though, it looks like these Obama sycophants stirred up a hornet’s nest, with hundreds of commenters pointing out their lying ways. It’s simply delicious.

Maybe that was Sarah’s plan all along. After all, no one is better at making the corrupt media look stupid than she is! And I challenge you to name anyone else who can get people talking about a serious issue, with nothing more than a Facebook post, better than Sarah Palin.

Now that I think about it, maybe that’s the real story here. The power of Sarah Palin to cut through the noise and nonsense, and expose the liars and the lies they tell.
