EXEMPT AMERICA FROM OBAMACARE RALLY IN WASHINGTON TODAY SEPT 10th from 10 am – 5 pm

The official petition to stop all funding for Obamacare was launched by the Senate Conservatives Fund on July 27, 2013 at DontFundObamacare.com. The one millionth petition was signed on September 2nd, 2013. Obamacare begins October 1st. This fund is “an independent, grassroots organization that advocates for conservative policies in Washington” and helps elect conservatives. (Just a disclosure: I contribute to SarahPac and follow her choices for leaders she wants in Washington.) The letter caught my attention today because of its urgency. Not only do we not have enough Representatives on board with http://www.defundit.com, but a phony version of it is being slipped in the House.
First, the teleconference last night with Ted Cruz. Cruz said that if we get millions of Americans to sign the national petition, and recruit an added 20 friends or family members, as well as call our representatives, we can stop the train wreck that is this #1 job-killer! He said career politicians in both parties are not listening to the American people. The Republicans remember what happened in 1995. There was a temporary partial suspension of spending and Bill Clinton used the bully pulpit.
Republicans must stand together instead, and not be afraid to act because they might get blamed for a government shut down, or be called “nasty, mean Republicans” by Harry Reid and Obama. Even if Obama threatens to shut the government down, they must say NO, and win the argument. The GRASSROOTS must also begin by calling the representatives to win.
Cruz emphasized that defunding Obamacare is not the complete solution. It is a temporary one. The ultimate solution is to REPEAL OBAMACARE. The focus now is to take advantage of the opportunity to use the PURSE of Congress to cut off the funds before OCARE kicks in full force. Once that is defunded, the second step is the 2014 election, where the real opportunity for Republicans to retire Harry Reid and to take control of the Senate will result in full repeal.
Ted Cruz at Exempt Rally today
As the phone rang from Ted Cruz’s tele town hall last night, Sarah Palin posted on her FB wall: “Enough of this foreign fiasco distraction. Get back to work. It is time to bomb Obamacare.”
Mike Lee at Exempt Rally today: ObamaCare is not controversial. It is universally despised! We can, We must, and We will Defundit!
Here is the letter with important information about a move the GOP is about to make. It’s a trick, so here are some contacts we can make today.
This is an urgent action alert for all freedom-loving Americans from the Senate Conservatives Fund. (1) The U.S. House of Representatives will vote to fund Obamacare this week and we need your help to stop it. House Republican leaders have chickened out and decided to fund a program that will destroy our country. According to media reports, [I would like to know which ones] GOP leaders will attempt to pass a “trick rule” that allows them to pretend to defund Obamacare without actually doing so.
Under the trick rule, the House will pass a continuing resolution that fully funds Obamacare along with separate phony bill that defunds Obamacare. Democrats in the Senate will then throw the defunding bill in the garbage and send the real bill that funds Obamacare to the president’s desk. It’s the “now you see defunding, now you don’t” strategy. We must act now and call on conservatives in the House to defeat the trick rule that funds Obamacare. House rules are almost always passed along party lines so all we need is 16 Republicans to oppose the rule to defeat it.
TAKE ACTION NOW
Please call these members today and urge them to do EVERYTHING in their power to stop funding for Obamacare. Tell them to vote against the rule. It does not matter if you’re not from their states. They need to know that people across the country are counting on them to stop Obamacare.

TEXAS RINO Pete Sessions
If Republican leaders decide to go forward with this deceptive strategy, Representative Pete Sessions (R-TX), Chairman of the House Rules Committee, will be the “yes man” who makes it happen. If Pete Sessions pulls this stunt and writes a trick rule to fund Obamacare, we will actively recruit and support a conservative primary challenger against him next year through our House Conservatives Project.
