Palin to Speak at New Hope Graduation

SarahpalinstripedshirtfromcecephotoshootAs reported by WHNT19News:

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Sarah Palin, arguably one of the most well-known women in the Republican Party in the last several years, is scheduled to visit to Madison County next week.

Dr. David Copeland, Madison County Superintendent, confirms to WHNT News 19 Palin will speak at New Hope High School’s graduation ceremony.

The event is next Wednesday, May 21 at 8 p.m. at the Von Braun Center.  It is an event that requires tickets, and a limited number will be made available, Dr. Copeland said.

“What an honor for the students of New Hope High to hear such a prominent speaker as Mrs. Palin,” Dr. Copeland said.  The students got the news at school on Tuesday morning.

Palin is a former vice presidential candidate, the first Republican woman to get the party’s nomination.  She ran on the Republican ticket with Sen. John McCain in 2008.  She also served as governor of Alaska from 2006-2009.  She currently works as a political commentator and endorses various Republican candidates for state and federal office.

To maintain the integrity of New Hope’s graduation ceremony, attendance will be limited to the schools, businesses, and communities of New Hope and Owens Cross Roads that support the vision of the school and the accomplishments of the students and educators in the Madison County School District.

A limited number of tickets will be available to the community and the public on a first come, first-served basis, through Dr. Copeland’s office by email: dacopeland@madison.k12.al.us.

WHNT News 19 reached out to the Alabama Republican Party on Tuesday morning for more insight.  The staff did not confirm the appearance, but said Chairman Bill Armistead spoke with Palin recently, who indicated she selects one high school each year to visit for the commencement address.  This year, she decided to come to Alabama.  The state party said staff members were reaching out to New Hope High School for more details.   More

Lawrence is the co-host of seven episodes of Amazing America with Sarah Palin and experiences heart-warming and unique stories that exemplify the American dream.  Audiences will experience the life of a professional taxidermist, successful businessmen who are passionate for America and philanthropy – not to mention pastors racing cars and a father and son team of custom knives makers.     More

Press release on co-host Jerry Carroll:

NEW BERLIN, WI (March 21, 2014) – It is not every day a farmer from Willow Spring, North Carolina, launches a career as a TV host after being discovered on YouTube.  However, Jerry Carroll – farmer, agricultural speaker, comedian and most recently, co-host for Sportsman Channel’s Amazing America with Sarah Palin – has done just that. Carroll’s affinity for entertaining the masses shines through on stage, making his new stint as a television co-host, must watch TV. Amazing America with Sarah Palin premieres exclusively on Sportsman Channel, April 3 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

“I’d had a rough day on the farm mending fencings when I got the call about being on the Sportsman Channel with Sarah Palin,” said Carroll. “I couldn’t believe it was real. I got to travel across the country meeting real, hard-working Americans. It’s been a dream come true.”

Carroll co-hosts six Amazing America episodes, each highlighting different people, places and things that make America what it is. From spending time with country music star Craig Morgan, to learning how to meld his own horseshoe in a Blacksmith Championship, Carroll is intrigued by everyone he meets along the way. Carroll’s attitude and approach exemplify Sportsman Channel’s anthem of “Red, Wild and Blue” throughout each episode.

Jerry’s journey from rural farmer, to comedian, to TV show host embodies the spirit of the show. From the time he could walk, Carroll joined his father and uncle to farm tobacco, corn, small grain, soybeans, cattle and hogs. Spending 14 hours a day in a tractor cab gave him plenty of time to think about his life’s dream of making people laugh.

Carroll has performed in venues from local cattlemen’s association banquets to the Ministers of Provincial Parliament in Toronto, Canada. He also opened for musical acts including: Michael Bolton, Patty Loveless, Lyle Lovett and Larry Gatlin. When he is not traveling the country making people laugh, Carroll resides in Willow Spring, North Carolina taking care of his family farm.

Governor Sarah Palin Endorses Katrina Pierson and Greg Abbott

2014_Katrina_Pierson

Katrina Pierson is a Tea Party hero, having founded the Garland Tea Party, and a woman with a great story of overcoming tough circumstances. She’s been endorsed by Senator Ted Cruz [who has called her “utterly fearless“] and Michelle Malkin. Now Governor Sarah Palin weighs in.

Governor Palin also backs the next Governor of the Great State of Texas, Greg Abbott!

Check out Katrina’s [non-campaign] website for videos and great commentary from her.

By Jackie Siciliano

It’s 2014 so that means mid-terms, primaries, and endorsements.  Earlier today, Gov. Sarah Palin reminded the fine people of Texas that it’s time to replace the permanent political class with “good new candidates who will go to Washington not to line their own pockets, but to help restore our country”.  Palin also reminded folks that early voting in the Lone Star State is now underway.

katrinaPierson

From Palin’s Facebook page:

Texas, it starts with you!

2014 is here. The choices are becoming clearer, and the battle lines are being drawn. The GOP Beltway crowd has convinced itself that the way to maintain or retake the majority is through compromise and capitulation on important issues like amnesty, Obamacare, and the ever-increasing federal debt. They think that by making deals with a deeply unpopular and divisive incumbent president on issues that Americans oppose, they’ll somehow endear themselves to voters.

Enough is enough. The permanent political class in D.C. won’t listen. So, let’s start putting our efforts behind good new candidates who will go to Washington not to line their own pockets, but to help restore our country. It’s time to put inspiration, ingenuity, and integrity over incumbency in the GOP.

Let’s start in Texas. The lines couldn’t be clearer. Katrina Pierson is an emerging leader and important voice for the future of the grassroots conservative movement. Her life’s story is full of hardships she has fought to overcome, which taught her firsthand the importance of self-reliance, hard work, and the blessings of liberty.

A feisty fighter for freedom, Katrina is taking on a powerful incumbent who has so lost touch with the people of his district that he’s not even bothering to spend much time in Texas anymore. It’s not only his district he’s lost touch with, but also the issues important to the voters there. He used his powerful position to oppose the movement to defund Obamacare, has voted to raise the debt ceiling, and has been an advocate for the NSA intrusion into our freedoms. When asked about Katrina’s primary challenge, he said, “these things happen.” Yes, they do. We all know what happens when we come together to support a good candidate like Katrina – the permanent political class loses and We the People win! We win by electing a fighter we can depend on like Katrina Pierson. Ted Cruz calls Katrina “an utterly fearless principled conservative.” He should know. Katrina was among the conservative grassroots warriors in Texas who worked tirelessly to elect Senator Cruz.

Early voting started yesterday, Texas. Get out now and vote for Katrina. Send a message to the GOP elites on behalf of Katrina, just like you did for Ted Cruz in 2012.

And while you are out there voting for Katrina, check the box for another good conservative – Greg Abbott for Governor of Texas. Like Katrina, Greg has overcome many personal obstacles and challenges, which have made him a believer in the power of liberty and the need to defend our freedoms from the overreach of an out-of-control federal government. If he is good enough for Ted Nugent, he is good enough for me!

You can learn more about Katrina Pierson at: www.katrinaforcongress.com
and more about Greg Abbott at: www.gregabbott.com

God bless you and God bless America.

Palin: Get a clue, brass. Quickly.

FB14_0106

Earlier today Gov. Palin shared the above photo and this message on her Facebook page.  A Blue Star mom and an avid supporter of our military, Palin once again calls out this administration for their treatment of our nation’s finest.

Look, U.S. Military top brass, some of us are known for supporting our troops 110%, even encouraging our own kids in their voluntary, sacrificial enlistments. We send them off with blessings as you send them off to war. You keep pulling stunts like this, and how long do you think our military enthusiasm keeps up? Get a clue, brass. Quickly. You keep up these new double standards and this recent discrimination against Christians, and the greatest military power on earth will soon be “fundamentally transformed” into a weakened, involuntary and unrecognizable mere bureaucratic entity. Obviously you need a new commander-in-chief who sincerely believes in freedom and respects the fact we need to keep our finest keeping us free, but until that time, exert some brass cojones and re-embrace American military ethos.

Palin: “Amazing America” to Premier in April

Promo_widget

Sportsman Channel has announced that Sarah Palin will host their upcoming series “Amazing America” premiering on April 14th.  Looks like Mama Grizzly has been keeping the mother of all secrets since there has not been even one tiny leak on this exciting development.

Gov. Palin posted a Facebook update shortly after Sportsman Channel broke the news.

It’s soon time to get your “Red, Wild and Blue” on, America! I am ecstatic to get to share more of this great country with you, and I have exciting news to share!

We’ve been blessed with opportunities to travel all across America and experience inspiration! We’ve seen some wild places, met some wild people, and “amazing” is one word that comes to mind wherever the road takes us. It’s your turn to be inspired! So I am thrilled to work with Sportsman Channel on the new TV series called “Amazing America with Sarah Palin” because it lets me highlight the real stories that make America truly amazing.

Like us, there are millions of men, women and families who embrace the great outdoors and thrive on the natural beauty, resources and diverse activity it offers. A main reason I wanted to join Sportsman Channel is their passion and dedication to our active lifestyle. And they believe everyone has a little wild inside. This series lets us help everyone find their wild in “Red, Wild and Blue America!”

Click here for details on “Amazing America with Sarah Palin,” coming this April on the Sportsman Channel:

Prior to Palin’s announcement I received this email from Sportsman Channel:

Good Morning,
I just wanted to pass along the news that Sarah Palin is hosting a new outdoors TV show on our network beginning next April. Please see attached press release for more information. It hit the AP wire this morning – so you can also see some stories in places like ABC News, CNN etc: http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/wireStory/sarah-palin-host-outdoors-show-21148357

Let me know if I can get you any further info on this new show. We are very excited to have her on board! Thanks so much.

The Sportsman Channel website has the following to say about “Amazing America”:

Amazing America with Sarah Palin explores and experiences the coolest and most original people, places, businesses, and gadgets that appeal to Red, Wild and Blue America. Former Governor Sarah Palin takes viewers into the life of those living the American dream.

Whether it is celebrities living the sportsman dream or equally enthusiastic everymen, Mrs. Palin will take us nationwide to find the people and places that share and reflect her passion for what makes our country amazing.

Petersen’s Hunting offers this “first look” commentary on “Amazing America” but here’s a sneak peek of what to expect.  (Note: you must scroll down past the ad to see the article.)

“The show really explores and experiences an anthology of stories about the most original people, places and businesses that really appeal to Red, Wild & Blue America, that great American spirit about the great outdoors,” said Marc Fein, EVP of Programming and Production at Sportsman Channel. “… The show is really about shining a light on these folks that reflect [Palin’s] passion for what makes the outdoors and our country amazing.”

The segments aren’t just about hunting, shooting and fishing, however.

“It will be a variety of different types of stories. It could be about amazing craftsmen in action in our states, about American heroes and first responders, how they train when called into action,” Fein said. “We’ll have some celebrities, visiting some celebrities at ranches and farms, and just some really good stories of people living the American dream in our states—who went from nothing, created a product with great ingenuity and built their dream, which is building a dream cabin.”  More

I’m really looking forward to this show.  I predict that it’s going to be a great success for Sportsman Channel and that “Amazing America” hosted by Sarah Palin will bring a broader audience to Sportsman Channel.
