Last week, Democratic Congresswoman Barbara Lee and others passed a resolution stating that climate change disproportionately affects women and may drive them to engage in “transactional sex” (i.e. prostitution). There is a nugget of truth in Lee’s ridiculous resolution. Climate change itself may not drive women to prostitution, but the farce of climate change has driven some men (and probably some women as well) to essentially engage in political prostitution.
Yesterday, a Bloomberg article noted that Al Gore is now worth upwards of $200 million. Gore has derived his wealth from several avenues, but many of these are tied to his peddling of green Henny Penny nonsense. The Bloomberg article notes that Al Gore’s film, “An Inconvenient Truth”, led to speaker’s fees of around $175,000 a pop. Additionally, as has been often noted, Gore’s sale of Current TV to Al-Jazeera netted him $100 million by itself. Gore also has his hand in green investing, which has ultimately padded his own pocketbook. In 2004, Gore joined with former Goldman Sachs managing director David W. Blood to form Generation Investment Management (GIM), as Bloomberg notes (emphasis added):
By the time of the Capricorn investment, he was already starting to rake in cash from Generation Investment Management – – a fund that incorporates “sustainability” into its investment approach. Gore co-founded GIM in 2004 with former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. Managing Director David W. Blood.
Public filings show that in 2008 through 2011 London-based GIM racked up almost 140 million pounds ($218 million) in profits to be split among its 26 partners. Gore and Blood as founders are thought to have the largest equity stakes.
Not of all of Gore’s investments have been successful though. GIM later partnered with Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers on “green” investments. Kleiner Perkins backed Fisker, an electric car company, which received more than half a billion dollars in government loans in 2009 only to lay off about 75% of its staff last month. When Gore’s “investments” have been unsuccessful, often its the American taxpayer–non-consenting investors–who lose.
The American people became non-consenting investment partners in billion of dollars of Department of Energy grants and loans from President Obama’s 2009 stimulus package and other efforts over the last few years. Roughly 80% of those DOE loans went to companies tied to President Obama’s donors. The Obama administration has invested hundreds of millions in taxpayer dollars in biofuels for the US Navy. A biofuel company that received a more than a half a billion contract, Solazyme, has ties to former Obama adviser and donor, T.J. Glauthier. Solazyme’s contract is equivalent to $16 a gallon for fuel, about four times as high as traditional fuels. Even as the Navy’s budget is being cut by sequestration, they are continuing to make this expensive type of fuel a priority.
At best, climate change and its cause are unproven. Some cite a summer of higher temperatures as proof of climate change. Others say that man-created pollution may be the cause of a cooler spring. Even if anthropogenic climate change was true, the methods of mitigating its effects are unhelpful. Electric cars are often charged by coal powered electricity and are prone to catch on fire (more carbon emissions!). Biofuels, like wood and grain-based ethanol and algae based fuels, have proven to be inefficient in both their production and their consumption. All this “green” light district business does is fill the bank accounts of the politically connected at the expense of the American taxpayer…and proves President Reagan right once again.
I’ll be honest, I had to read Chuck Roger’s essay in American Thinker a couple times to make sure I understood where he was going with Newt’s latest hair-brain scheme to “Win The Future™.” It’s that crazy.
It seems the establishment GOP’s “smartest guy in the room” has come up with a winner.

Way, way back in 1994, Newt Gingrich complained vigorously about a Democrat-controlled Congress’s fiscal irresponsibility. Representative Gingrich led a successful campaign by Republicans to takeover House and Senate in the 1994 Election. At the core of the Republican game plan was the Contract with America, a key element of which was the Fiscal Responsibility Act, in which Gingrich promised:
A balanced budget/tax limitation amendment and a legislative line-item veto to restore fiscal responsibility to an out-of-control Congress, requiring them to live under the same budget constraints as families and businesses.
That was then. Republicans failed to deliver on most of the Contract’s promises.
This is now. Failure to deliver is the least of Republicans’ worries if Gingrich’s GOP nomination bid gains traction.
“We must stop the irresponsible spending,” Gingrich wrote in an email to supporters. So he is again complaining about Washington’s fiscal madness. But there’s a slimy facet of Newt Gingrich 2011-hypocrisy. Gingrich now makes it clear that he wants to continue to grow federal “investment in science and research.” The man is sounding more and more like just another big-government Republican, a progressive one to boot. Gingrich slams the reduced research subsidies in Representative Paul Ryan’s budget plan for being ….
…essentially like saying, I want to save money on your car, [so] we’re not going to change the oil. And for about a year I can get away with it. And then the engine will freeze up and we’ll have to replace your engine. But if I have a CBO that scores oil but doesn’t score engines, I can annually replace the engine for free, because it won’t count as a budget cost.
In this analogy, the federal government keeps the “engine” of scientific research from “freezing up.” But scientific breakthroughs do not depend on government subsidies. Mr. Gingrich has revealed himself to be no more fiscally responsible than the progressive Democrats whom he criticizes for fiscal irresponsibility.
Roger goes on to hammer Gingrich for the stuff conservatives always hammer Gingrich for, namely being a big fat liberal!
Frankly, Newt lost me when he was spooning with Nancy Pelosi on the now infamous couch, shilling for Al Gore’s global warming hoax. And he’s still going down that road today as he shills for the ethanol lobby, which has paid him hundreds of thousands of dollars to push that “green” scam.
In the current-day version of Gingrich, Republicans are saddled with a man who goes out of his way to play nice-nice with progressives. Gingrich is prone to embrace nutty and economically destructive progressive ideas.
Then comes this:
First, irresponsible global warming spending, then irresponsible biofuel spending. Now Gingrich is making a “deliberate, fundamental argument against the entire current [health care] delivery system,” claiming that only government “investment” in research can create a better health care system.
So here we have a formerly great “conservative” pushing colossal government involvement to create a health care system to replace the Obamacare colossus.
Amazing.
Where did Gingrich make his “investment” pitch? Why, at an event hosted by the Brookings Institution, a progressive think tank.
The Republican establishment is always telling us Gingrich is the smartest guy we have in the party. Of course, these same people tell us Mitt Romney is a genius too, and we know what a joke that is.
We are told Newt Gingrich is an “idea man.” OK, I’ll buy into that, but what good is an “idea man” when all of his ideas are ridiculous?
The thing is “idea men,” prized creatures that they are, are mostly worthless.
For every good idea they come up with, they’ll have hundreds that are useless, and in some cases down right dangerous. You know, like creating a Big Government boondoggle to replace another Big Government boondoggle.
Idea men, big thinkers, what ever you want to call them, are dreamers. We need dreamers. They serve a great purpose to society. But the last thing you want is a big thinker, an “idea man” in a leadership position.
You put one of these cats in charge, where no one can stop them from implementing every insane idea that pops in their head, and you have a recipe for a disaster of biblical proportions!
Thinkers, dreamers, “idea men,” geniuses, wonks, whatever you want to call them are not the sort one puts in charge. They are not CEO material, or even middle management. Their place in life is to do what they do. Think up stuff. If they’re lucky, they think up something that is beneficial. Or, if not, they are Newt Gingrich.
It’s time for Americans to wake up and realize that we need real change in Washington, and looking to the same old Republican establishment hacks who got is in this mess in the first place is not the answer.
We need new, fresh leadership, that has no ties to the current mess in DC. Someone who has vast executive experience, and a solid record of accomplishment. A Governor.

People continually claim Newt Gingrich is the “smartest guy in the party” but I don’t see it. Falling for a proven hoax, rather than following proven science is beyond me. Of course, this isn’t the only sign of less than intelligent actions by the former Speaker and soon to be 2012 presidential candidate.
Folks remember Newt being on the wrong side of history in the NY-23 special election back in 2009, where he backed far left DeDe Scozzafava over Doug Hoffman. That was bad enough, but it got worse. He actually doubled down calling the Margret Sanger Award winning leftist a “moderate” and fought against those who tried to school him.
Of course, he stuck his nose in the Tea Party’s business in 2010 when the NAACP started calling them racist, because the couldn’t compete with the Tea Party Americans on ideas. Newt’s brilliant idea was for the Tea Party leaders to sit down with the NAACP’s leader. All this would have done was give NAACP’s claim legitimacy.
Newt is still flirting with a 2012 run, having pushed back his announcement schedule. Well, he can run, but he can’t hide [from his troubling past].
Gingrich will follow the move with two trips to early presidential battleground states: He’s scheduled an appearance in Iowa on March 7 and one in New Hampshire on March. 17.
No one credible disputes Sarah Palin’s expertise on energy. This woman knows what she is talking about here. The radical left has a diabolical scheme, but it has little to do with a clean environment, and a lot to do with destroying America, and lining it’s pockets in the process.
Extreme Enviros: Drill, Baby, Drill in ANWR – Now Do You Get It?
This is a message to extreme “environmentalists” who hypocritically protest domestic energy production offshore and onshore. There is nothing “clean and green” about your efforts. Look, here’s the deal: when you lock up our land, you outsource jobs and opportunity away from America and into foreign countries that are making us beholden to them. Some of these countries don’t like America. Some of these countries don’t care for planet earth like we do – as evidenced by our stricter environmental standards.
With your nonsensical efforts to lock up safer drilling areas, all you’re doing is outsourcing energy development, which makes us more controlled by foreign countries, less safe, and less prosperous on a dirtier planet. Your hypocrisy is showing. You’re not preventing environmental hazards; you’re outsourcing them and making drilling more dangerous.
Extreme deep water drilling is not the preferred choice to meet our country’s energy needs, but your protests and lawsuits and lies about onshore and shallow water drilling have locked up safer areas. It’s catching up with you. The tragic, unprecedented deep water Gulf oil spill proves it.
We need permission to drill in safer areas, including the uninhabited arctic land of ANWR. It takes just a tiny footprint – equivalent to the size of LA’s airport – to tap America’s rich and plentiful oil and gas up north. ANWR’s drilling footprint is like a postage stamp on a football field.
But it’s not just ANWR; it’s our Petroleum Reserve, too. As Governor Sean Parnell noted today in the Wall Street Journal:
“Federal agencies are also now blocking oil development in the National Petroleum Reserve—Alaska.
Although familiar with ANWR, most Americans are less likely to know about NPR-A and how vital it is to our energy security. Given recent developments, it’s time to elevate the position this area holds in our national discourse.
NPR-A, a 23 million acre stretch of Alaska’s North Slope, was set aside by President Warren Harding in 1923 for the specific purpose of supplying our country and military with oil and gas. Since 1976 it has been administered by the Department of the Interior, and since 1980 it has been theoretically open for development. The most recent estimates indicate that it holds 12 billion barrels of oil and 73 trillion cubic feet of natural gas.
In addition to containing enormous hydrocarbons, NPR-A is very close to the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, which means that there would be relatively little additional infrastructure needed to bring this new oil to our domestic market.
But even here, progress has been stalled.”

For more than five years, the state of Alaska has worked closely with major energy companies, local communities and Alaska Native corporations and tribes on a balanced development plan. To back this project, these entities have formed a rare coalition and made significant compromises, often at the behest of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, to clear regulatory hurdles for development on a site in NPR-A known as CD-5.
But this February the Corps reversed course and denied the issuance of a critical permit for CD-5. Specifically, the Corps denied ConocoPhillips’s request to build a bridge over a river to accommodate a pipeline and vehicles that can access the company’s existing production facilities at the nearby Alpine field. The Corps decreed that the bridge shouldn’t be built and that the pipeline should proceed under water, a course of action that would significantly undermine the economics of the project while posing a greater risk to the environment.
Alaska stands ready to help move the nation closer to energy independence, and it’s a shame that the federal government is standing in the way. The Corps’s own regulations emphasize that state and local governments have primary responsibility for land-use decisions and that their views should be given due consideration. But not only has the Corps rejected a critical permit, it did so without consideration of our concerns—on the overly technical grounds that the state’s comments were not made under my signature and that my oral comments to Corps officials were not in writing.
After years of cooperatively trying to move this critical NPR-A project forward, such a backhanded dismissal of a state’s position is troubling enough. But what we really fear is that this is part of a much broader agenda at play (directed by the antidevelopment Environmental Protection Agency) to shut down increased domestic oil and gas production even in places like the NPR-A. As Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski stated in a recent address to our legislature, “For heaven’s sakes, if we can’t drill in the National Petroleum Reserve—an area specifically designated by Congress for oil and gas production—where can we drill?”
The state of Alaska is seeking to join an administrative appeal of this misguided federal decision. If we are not satisfied with the outcome of this proceeding, we will pursue other means, including suing the federal government to ensure that it abides by its own regulations and does not make arbitrary and capricious decisions at the expense of state sovereignty and wise energy policy.
America, particularly in Alaska, has vast reserves of onshore and offshore oil and gas. The crisis in the Gulf should not be used to implement a misguided strategy that shuts down the opportunities to develop these resources and that further endangers our nation’s long-term energy security.
I for one am glad to see Sarah come out swinging here. The radical Marxist-progressives hijacked the so-called “green movement” decades ago, and are using it as nothing more than a vehicle to impose a communist style government both in America, and world wide. These people are evil, nothing more and nothing less.
There are several masters being served here by the Obama regime, and it’s disciples. First, there is the money, lots of money. The Obama regime, using the tenets of radical environmentalism, .which is based on a hoax, (global warming) to set up a cap and trade system that will see Obama, Al Gore, and many others rake in tens of trillions of dollars from people who are forced to purchase “carbon credits” through the Chicago Climate Exchange, which was created by Obama, and has among others, Al Gore, and elements of Goldman Sachs as partners. One thing we must also never forget, while Obama and his people are doing everything they can to shut down all energy production in America, last year, Barack Obama loaned Brazil $15 billion in order to drill off it’s own coast. How does that square with the Obama regime’s cries for a “cleaner planet“? Anyone really think Brazil would be more diligent than America on environmental safety?
The real story here is the fact that three days before Obama gave Brazil the $15 billion tax payer dollars, his real boss, former Nazi sympathizer George Soros, purchased controlling interest in Petrobas, the Brazilian oil giant that will be using this gift of our money. It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to figure out who stands to make an obscene amount of money if America is no longer producing oil.
Soros is one of the most evil men on the planet, and owns the Marxist-democrat party lock, stock and barrel. He funds hundreds of Marxist-democrat party organizations. It stands to reason they will help him add even more wealth to his bank account, since his groups are responsible for keeping the most corrupt President and the most corrupt political party in our nation’s history afloat.

So far, all we are seeing is massive corruption, and a cap and tax scheme that is so evil that Bernie Madoff would cry foul. All of this manipulation by the Obama regime, and the pushing of a proven hoax (global warming) is nothing more than a high end, Chicago Gangland Shakedown, on a global scale.

The real losers in all of this, are the poor misguided fools who actually care about the planet, and want to see it cared for responsibly. Absolutely nothing in Obama’s “green agenda” has to do with making the planet cleaner. The only green Obama and his fellow travelers care about is the kind of green that has dead presidents on the front.
Unfortunately, the people who may actually care about the planet, have been indoctrinated in radical environmentalism and Marxist ideology for a generation. They have been taught to be closed minded and to have complete hatred for anything and everything that doesn’t fit the narrative. This is quite tragic, because there are people, who aren’t radical Marxists, that have the knowledge and skill to not only satisfy America’s need for energy, clean, inexpensive energy, that fuels our entire economy, but have a genuine love for our planet, and will go out of their way to do it right. They just aren’t devout followers of Karl Marx and Saul Alinsky.
Sarah Palin is one of those people. She knows the oil and gas business as well as anyone out there. She worked to hold big oil accountable, and reform the system in Alaska. Sarah has first hand knowledge of what a disaster like the Gulf oil spill will do. As Governor, Sarah created an agency that was responsible for holding Big Oil responsible, and coming down hard when they weren’t. More importantly, she kept an eye on this commission, to make sure they did their job. It’s what a good CEO does.
It’s ridiculous and quite dangerous for us to be drilling for oil so far off shore. Drilling in mile deep water isn’t just asking for trouble, it’s begging for it. If we were in shallower water, closer to land, this problem could have been more easily gotten under control, but the extreme depths radical environmentalists, and greedy, corrupt politicians have forced upon America, are the culprit here.
Radical environmentalists loose heir mind when the talks turn to ANWR. Their media partners always aid them by running stories showing majestic eagles flying, polar bears looking all cuddly, and lush, green land. Now that may indeed represent some part of ANWR, but not where the oil is. Not where people want to drill.
ANWR is roughly the size of the state of South Carolina. As Sarah points out, the spot where the oil is, is about the size of the Los Angeles International Airport. If you’re a Texan, think D-FW. International Airport. It truly is like comparing the size of a postage stamp, to the size of a football field.
Also, the spot where the oil and natural gas are, is not all that nice. In the winter, it’s frozen tundra, that is barely inhabitable, and in the summer the most endearing features are the black flies and mosquitoes the size of a small bird! If you look on the map, there are already energy producing fields very close to this area.
I remember when I was younger, the radical environmentalists lost their minds when planning for the Trans-Alaska pipeline was underway. The outrageous claims of devastation and destruction were just as over the top as what we see today.
Oh the caribou!
My goodness this was going to destroy the caribou. Now mind you, most Alaskan’s rely heavily on caribou and other game for their very survival. As Sarah puts it, “I eat, therefore I hunt.” This is very much the way of life in Alaska. Alaskan’s aren’t going to destroy their food supply.
Long story short, as always, the environmental moonbats were wrong. It seems that the oil that comes through the pipeline is warm, even when the outside temps are well below zero. Caribou love the warmth. It also makes the caribou, and other game rather romantic. Instead of making the caribou extinct, these buggers multiplied like rabbits! So much for the wisdom of radical environmentalism.
Several things need to happen here. One, we need competent leadership, from people that actually have an understanding of how stuff works. We need someone who is honest, and incorruptible. That of course, would be Sarah Palin, and those like her.
We also must start investigating the massive lies and corruption that surround the so-called “green movement” as well as all of those involved with the Obama regime. Someone must have the guts to go after Obama, and all of the members of Crime, Inc. We also need someone with the guts to go after George Soros, and take this guy down. He is pure evil, and funds pure evil worldwide.
The Marxist-democrats like Obama love to shout from the rooftops how evil capitalism is, and how we need “social and economic justice” to “make things right“, but under the shadow of darkness, these evil men work and scheme to find the best way to steal America, and the world, blind, making themselves rich beyond all imagination. In the end, all Obama and his fellow travelers really are, are just common criminals.
The carbon trading system being pushed here has spawned crime and fraud across the pond. Cap-and-trade is not about saving the planet. It’s about money and power, and absolute power corrupting absolutely.

The troubling thing about all of this is, instead of investigating, and arresting all of these absolute crooks on charges of organized crime and racketeering, Marxist elements in our Congress are planning to introduce legislation THIS WEEK, to put make this scam the law of the land!
Carbon trading is the biggest nonsensical idea since the Pet Rock. The only difference is folks who purchased the Pet Rock actually got something of value, something they could hold in their hand that had at least some value as entertainment.
Carbon credits are literally nothing. There is absolutely no value to them, nor do they solve any problem. They create nothing, except great wealth for those who seek to traffic in them. Global warming is a proven hoax, and frankly, with all of damage people like Al Gore have caused: Millions of jobs lost, unnecessary deaths due to ignorant and ill-advised policies, and just the general mayhem and misery they have caused, there should be long prison sentences and public floggings in their future. These people are evil.
However, just for fun, lets pretend that global warming is real. What would trading carbon do for it? How would buying carbon credits from one person, and then selling them to another, make any difference whatsoever? The short answer is, it wouldn’t. You would still have the same amounts of carbon in the air, the same amount of pollution. The only thing effected is how much lighter your wallet is about to be, and how much heavier Crime Inc.’s will be!
Here’s how this scam will work. Everyone will be assigned “carbon credits” based on whatever the government decides. This of course, is a worldwide scheme. People (businesses and countries) who actually produce things,… commodities,… and of course JOBS, will not have enough of these credits to function.
On the other hand, countries that do not produce, will have all the “credits” one could need.
Now, there has to be a way for those countries that have all of these “credits” to sell them to People who actually contribute to society, who produce things like products, and JOBS. This is where Obama and Crime Inc. Come in. By now you know Obama was key in setting up the Chicago Climate Exchange as the mechanism for selling these bogus carbon credits. $100’s of millions have already been invested in this scheme, in hopes of making $10’s of TRILLIONS.
The way Obama and his crime syndicate will get rich beyond anyone’s wildest dreams is simple. When a non-producing entity wants to sell a “credit” they will have to do that on the Chicago Climate Exchange. Along the same lines, when a productive member of society needs a “credit” in order to remain a productive member of society, they will have to purchase this “credit” through the Chicago Climate Exchange. Of course, Obama and Crime Inc. will make commissions from both the seller and the buyer. It’s a beautiful scam!
Look, a few years back when these reprobates started this activity, it was a menace. But now we have one of the conspirators, sitting in the Oval Office, with the ability to sign into law legislation that will actually make this criminal enterprise a reality.
As this will effect the price of pretty much every thing you buy. You can expect the cost just to survive to be unsustainable. Obama has actually bragged that under his plan energy prices would “necessarily sky rocket.” This is “necessary” so that Obama and the rest of his criminal enterprise can become wealthy!
If this outrageous scheme is allowed to become reality it’s over. As pretty much everything we do needs energy, and pretty much every business will be effected by the carbon credit trading scam, absolutely every product we buy will cost more, a lot more. Energy prices, already out of control due to inept government policies, will double, and possibly triple. So will the price of everything else. Even the most basics like food, clothing, and shelter will be priced out of reach for many. Right down to the last morsel of bread.

The carbon trading system being pushed here has spawned crime and fraud across the pond. Cap-and-trade is not about saving the planet. It’s about money and power, and absolute power corrupting absolutely.
All across Europe authorities have been conducting raids, rounding up individuals involved in a new version of Climate-gate. This time the data aren’t corrupted. Europe’s Emissions Trading System is. The system is so sick, it’s turned out to be a scam built upon a scam.
Twenty-five people have been arrested in raids by British and German authorities as part of a pan-European crackdown on carbon credit VAT tax fraud.
U.K. officials announced raids on 81 offices and homes, nabbing 13 people in England and eight in Scotland. The operation involved 450 investigators from Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs office.
German authorities raided 230 locations, including the headquarters of Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and the offices of RWE, one of the largest energy firms in Europe. The German operation involved 1,000 investigators targeting 50 companies and 150 suspects.
The amount of money involved in carbon trading is huge and the temptations vast. While our Congress demagogues about banks and their “complex financial instruments,” they are simple compared to cap-and-trade, which as we have noted involves essentially the buying and selling of air. Throw in an oppressive value-added tax and you have a recipe for corruption and fraud.
Last December, Europol, the European criminal intelligence agency, announced that Emissions Trading System fraud had resulted in about 5 billion euros in lost revenues as Europe’s carbon traders schemed to avoid paying Europe’s VAT and pocket the difference. In announcing the raids, the agency said that as much as 90% of Europe’s carbon trades were the result of fraudulent activity.
“Carbon markets are highly susceptible to fraud, given their complexity and the fact that it’s not always clear what is being traded,” says Oscar Reyes of Carbon Trade Watch.
Climate change has been found to be a fraud. Now the system to fight it has been. Yet it’s that system the administration and others want to establish here through cap-and-trade legislation such as Waxman-Markey and Kerry-Boxer.
As we also have noted, the mechanism for such phantom carbon trading here has already been established in the form of the Chicago Climate Exchange. The Joyce Foundation in 2000 and 2001 provided the seed money to start CCX when Barack Obama sat on its board.
CCX founder Richard Sandor estimates the climate trading market could be “a $10 trillion dollar market.” It is an invitation to fraud that would make Europe’s ETS scandal seem like petty theft.
In 2000, according to Joyce Foundation records, $347,600 was allocated to Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, where Sandor was a research professor, “to design a Midwestern pilot program for the voluntary trading of carbon dioxide and other emissions that cause climate change.”
Now President Obama would make such carbon trading mandatory, limit total emissions and make carbon as valuable a commodity as booze during Prohibition.
The Joyce Foundation’s two grants totaled just over $1 million. CCX has proved very lucrative for Sandor, whose 8 million shares in the exchange has grown to more than $260 million even before a national cap-and-trade system like Europe’s is established.
Al Gore, who recently increased his carbon footprint by spending $8.9 million on an oceanview villa near Santa Barbara, Calif., sitting on 1.5 acres with a swimming pool, spa, fountains, five bedrooms, nine bathrooms and no fewer than six fireplaces, is co-founder of Generation Investment Management LLP, the fifth largest shareholder in CCX.
The largest shareholder is, uh, Goldman Sachs. Other CCX founders include former Goldman Sachs partner David Blood, as well as Mark Ferguson and Peter Harris, also of Goldman Sachs. Presumably they know a lot about playing shell games with other people’s money.
What has happened in Europe is going to happen here and may already have begun. We, too, can save the earth for fun and profit.
For Obama and his minions this scam, and the upcoming legislation that will force it upon the world, will serve several purposes. First it will feed Obama’s communist heart as this will be the greatest re-distribution of wealth in history. Rich nations, nations that produce, will be forced, under the threat of law, to pay tribute to non-producers…just for the privilege of producing and being valuable members of society.
Of course, along the way, a large portion of this wealth re-distribution will finds it’s way into the pockets of Obama and his cohorts. Tens of TRILLIONS of dollars will find their way into Crime Inc.’s pockets!
As a bonus, this scheme will destroy the American economy, collapsing it, which will also make Obama and the other anti-American Marxists happy. This will give Obama a chance for Government to come in and take total control of your lives, to “help you.” He can then build the communist Utopia his parents and grandparents often spoke of.
This is dangerous to no end folks. We are only days away from the introduction of a bill that will make this nightmare a reality. If you don’t think Obama and Congress won’t use every trick in the book to shove this down America’s throat, then you weren’t paying attention with ObamaCare! Ten trillion dollars. That’s the conservative estimate of the amount of money Barack Obama, Albert Gore Jr., and a whole cast of criminals stand to make yearly (gross) off of the greatest scam in human history: “global warming.”
If you have ever sat back, scratching your head and wondering why the Marxists are pushing for a “cap and trade” bill that would not only make energy costs “necessarily skyrocket,” to quote Barack Obama, but do absolutely nothing to effect fictional “climate change, ” one way or the other, you are about to find out.
We have long known this Marxist idea was nothing more than a continuation of the communist desire to “spread the wealth” by forcibly stealing from those who create and earn, and giving to those that don’t. This is an inbred mental defect that can’t be cured, only contained, the most effective way being: not to elect these evil, corrupt bastards in the first place!
When we first learned of the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) we smelled a rat. No one has been more radical than Barack Obama when it comes to pushing the “global warming” hoax, and the “cap and trade” scheme. Being based in Chicago, common sense told us that Obama was somehow involved, and it was as corrupt as the day is long.
It took Glenn Beck to put it all together, and he has done a remarkable job of spelling it all out. In the videos below, Glenn documents Obama’s ties to the multi-trillion dollar carbon trading scam, Goldman Sachs, the Joyce Foundation, domestic terrorist Bill Ayers’ brother, Al Gore, George Soros, Maurice Strong and a whole cast of nerdowells.
Beck does a great job of connecting the dots here, as well as spelling out the scam itself. It’s quite interesting to note that all of the Marxist-democrats were pounding Goldman Sachs in their “show trial” for their handling of derivatives, a “synthetic” financial product, created out of thin air. Never mind it was the Marxist-democrat Party controlled Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac who were involved in the creation of this product, and President Bill Clinton who sanctioned it.
And yet, this is what carbon trading is, in a way. You are not buying a real product, or producing a benefit. Trading carbon credits can best be described as a “sin tax” with the “sinner” being able to purchase the ability to continuing “sinning,” without stopping the “sinful behavior” in any way whatsoever. You are simply redistributing wealth. In this case, those who actually produce will be forced to purchase the right to continue to produce from those who don’t produce. A real triumph for the glorious communist revolution!
But stealing money from the producers, and giving it to the non-producers is only half the story. These carbon credits will have to be tracked and traded. These credits will be treated as any other commodity, and traded on the open market. This is where the Chicago Climate Exchange comes in. They will be the only exchange for trading these credits and will make hefty commissions buying and selling these credits. (They get paid coming and going)
Energy prices will “necessarily skyrocket” because of two factors. One, because producers will have to purchase these credits, adding to the cost of doing business, a cost that will be passed on to the consumer, and two, these producers will be forced to buy the privilege of continuing to produce, from the Chicago Climate Exchange, which will raise the cost of doing business even more, again this will be passed on to the consumer.
This is where Obama, and the rest of what Beck is calling Crime, Incorporated come in. Conservative estimates are Obama, Gore and the other scam artists involved in this deal will gross ten trillion dollars yearly, selling nothing but thin air.
They are lengthy, about 10 minutes each, but watch Glenn as he systematically spells out the entire scam. Pay particular attention to the “shadowy figure” he introduces partway into all of this.
As you see it’s pretty easy to understand why, despite mounting evidence that every single “scientific calculation” declaring the existence of “global warming” is fraudulent, much of it deliberately skewed to show a result that doesn’t exist, Obama, Gore, and a whole host of corrupt-o-crats are pushing harder than ever for a “fix” to a non-existent problem.
Ten trillion dollars is a whole lot of money to be made for essentially doing nothing.

Obama’s involvement in Chicago Climate Exchange—the rest of the story
Good news to know that the truth will always out—even when you’re Barack Obama.
“Obama Years Ago Helped Fund Carbon Program He Is Now Pushing Through Congress” is a FOXNews story by Ed Barnes. In short, “While on the board of a Chicago-based charity, Barack Obama helped fund a carbon trading exchange that will likely play a critical role in the cap-and-trade carbon reduction program he is now trying to push through Congress as president.”
The charity was the Joyce Foundation on whose board of directors Obama served and which gave nearly $1.1 million in two separate grants that were “instrumental in developing and launching the privately-owned Chicago Climate Exchange, which now calls itself “North America’s only cap and trade system for all six greenhouse gases, with global affiliates and projects worldwide.”
And that’s only the beginning of this tawdry tale, Mr. Barnes.
The “privately-owned” Chicago Climate Exchange is heavily influenced by Obama cohorts Al Gore and Maurice Strong.
For years now Strong and Gore have been cashing in on that lucrative cottage industry known as man-made global warming.
Strong is on the board of directors of the Chicago Climate Exchange, Wikipedia-described as “the world’s first and North America’s only legally binding greenhouse gas emission registry reduction system for emission sources and offset projects in North America and Brazil.”
Gore, self-proclaimed Patron Saint of the Environment, buys his carbon off-sets from himself—the Generation Investment Management LLP, an independent, private, owner-managed partnership established in 2004 with offices in London and Washington, D.C., of which he is both chairman and founding partner. The Generation Investment Management business has considerable influence over the major carbon credit trading firms that currently exist, including the Chicago Climate Exchange.
Strong, the silent partner, is a man whose name often draws a blank on the Washington cocktail circuit. Even though a former Secretary General of the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (the much hyped Rio Earth Summit) and Under-Secretary General of the United Nations in the days of an Oil-for-Food beleaguered Kofi Annan, the Canadian born Strong is little known in the United States. That’s because he spends most of his time in China where he he has been working to make the communist country the world’s next superpower. The nondescript Strong, nonetheless is the big cheese in the underworld of climate change and is one of the main architects of the failing Kyoto Protocol.
Full credit for the expose on the business partnership of Strong and Gore in the cap-and-trade reduction scheme should go to the investigative acumen of the Executive Intelligence Review (EIR).
The tawdry tale of the top two global warming gurus in the business world goes all the way back to Earth Day, April 17, 1995 when the future author of “An Inconvenient Truth” travelled to Fall River, Massachusetts, to deliver a green sermon at the headquarters of Molten Metal Technology Inc. (MMTI). MMTI was a firm that proclaimed to have invented a process for recycling metals from waste. Gore praised the Molten Metal firm as a pioneer in the kind of innovative technology that can save the environment, and make money for investors at the same time.
“Gore left a few facts out of his speech that day,” wrote EIR. “First, the firm was run by Strong and a group of Gore intimates, including Peter Knight, the firm’s registered lobbyist, and Gore’s former top Senate aide.”
(Fast-forward to the present day and ask yourself why it is that every time someone picks up another Senate rock, another serpent comes slithering out).
Second, the company had received more than $25 million in U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) research and development grants, but had failed to prove that the technology worked on a commercial scale. The company would go on to receive another $8 million in federal taxpayers’ cash, at that point, its only source of revenue.
With Al Gore’s Earth Day as a Wall Street calling card, Molten Metal’s stock value soared to $35 a share, a range it maintained through October 1996. But along the way, DOE scientists had balked at further funding. When in March 1996, corporate officers concluded that the federal cash cow was about to run dry, they took action: Between that date and October 1996, seven corporate officers—including Maurice strong—sold off $15.3 million in personal shares in the company, at top market value. On Oct. 20, 1996—a Sunday—the company issued a press release, announcing for the first time, that DOE funding would be vastly scaled back, and reported the bad news on a conference call with stockbrokers.
On Monday, the stock plunged by 49%, soon landing at $5 a share. By early 1997, furious stockholders had filed a class action suit against the company and its directors. Ironically, one of the class action lawyers had tangled with Maurice strong in another insider trading case, involving a Swiss company called AZL Resources, chaired by Strong, who was also a lead shareholder. The AZL case closely mirrored Molten Metal, and in the end, Strong and the other AZL partners agreed to pay $5 million to dodge a jury verdict, when eyewitness evidence surfaced of Strong’s role in scamming the value of the company stock up into the stratosphere, before selling it off.
In 1997, Strong went on to accept from Tongsun Park, who was found guilty of illegally acting as an Iraqi agent, $1 million from Saddam Hussein, which was invested in Cordex Petroleum Inc., a company he owned with his son, Fred.
These are the leaders in the Man-made Global Warming Movement, who three years later were to be funded by the man who was to become President of the United States of America.
If we follow the time line on where Obama was during the funding of the Chicago Climate Exchange, he was still a professor at the University of Chicago Law School teaching constitutional law, with his law license becoming inactive a year later in 2002.
It may be interesting to note that the Chicago Climate Exchange in spite of its hype, is a veritable rat’s nest of cronyism. The largest shareholder in the Exchange is Goldman Sachs. Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley is its honorary chairman, The Joyce Foundation, which funded the Exchange also funded money for John Ayers’ Chicago School Initiatives. John is the brother of William Ayers.
What a flap when it was discovered that the senator from Chicago had nursed on Saul Alinsky’s milk, had his political career launched at a coffee party held by domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, and sat for 20 years, uncomplaining in front of the “God-dam-America” pulpit of resentment-challenged Jeremiah Wright.
Folk were naturally outraged that the empty suit who would go on to become TOTUS was spawned from such anti-American activism.
But the media should have been hollering, “Stop Thief!” instead.
The same Chicago Climate Exchange promoting public rip-off was funded by Obama before he was POTUS.
Even as man-made global warming is being exposed as a money-generating hoax, Obama is working feverishly to push the controversial cap-and-trade carbon reduction scheme through Congress.
Obama was never the character he created for himself in the fairy-tale version in “Dreams of My Father“. He’s the agent of Change and Hope for cohorts making money down at the Chicago Climate Exchange.

Cap-And-Trade: While senators froth over Goldman Sachs and derivatives, a climate trading scheme being run out of the Chicago Climate Exchange would make Bernie Madoff blush. Its trail leads to the White House.
Lost in the recent headlines was Al Gore’s appearance Monday in Denver at the annual meeting of the Council of Foundations, an association of the nation’s philanthropic leaders.
“Time’s running out (on climate change),” Gore told them. “We have to get our act together. You have a unique role in getting our act together.“
Gore was right that foundations will play a key role in keeping the climate scam alive as evidence of outright climate fraud grows, just as they were critical in the beginning when the Joyce Foundation in 2000 and 2001 provided the seed money to start the Chicago Climate Exchange. It started trading in 2003, and what it trades is, essentially, air. More specifically perhaps, hot air.
The Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) advertises itself as “North America’s only cap-and-trade system for all six greenhouse gases, with global affiliates and projects worldwide.” Barack Obama served on the board of the Joyce Foundation from 1994 to 2002 when the CCX startup grants were issued. As president, pushing cap-and-trade is one of his highest priorities. Now isn’t that special?
Few Americans have heard of either entity. The Joyce Foundation was originally the financial nest egg of a widow whose family had made millions in the now out-of-favor lumber industry.
After her death, the foundation was run by philanthropists who increasingly dedicated their giving to liberal causes, including gun control, environmentalism and school changes.
Currently, CCX members agree to a voluntary but legally binding agreement to regulate greenhouse gases.
The CCX provides the mechanism in trading the very pollution permits and carbon offsets the administration’s cap-and-trade proposals would impose by government mandate.
Thanks to Fox News’ Glenn Beck, we have learned a lot about CCX, not the least of which is that its founder, Richard Sandor, says he knew Obama well back in the day when the Joyce Foundation awarded money to the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, where Sandor was a research professor.
Sandor estimates that climate trading could be “a $10 trillion dollar market.” It could very well be, if cap-and-trade measures like Waxman-Markey and Kerry-Boxer are signed into law, making energy prices skyrocket, and as companies buy and sell permits to emit those six “greenhouse” gases.
So lucrative does this market appear, it attracted the attention of London-based Generation Investment Management, which purchased a stake in CCX and is now the fifth-largest shareholder.
As we noted last year, Gore is co-founder of Generation Investment Management, which sells carbon offsets of dubious value that let rich polluters continue to pollute with a clear conscience.
Other founders include former Goldman Sachs partner David Blood, as well as Mark Ferguson and Peter Harris, also of Goldman Sachs. In 2006, CCX received a big boost when another investor bought a 10% stake on the prospect of making a great deal of money for itself. That investor was Goldman Sachs, now under the gun for selling financial instruments it knew were doomed to fail.
The actual mechanism for trading on the exchange was purchased and patented by none other than Franklin Raines, who was CEO of Fannie Mae at the time.
Raines profited handsomely to the tune of some $90 million by buying and bundling bad mortgages that led to the collapse of the American economy. His interest in climate trading is curious until one realizes cap-and-trade would make housing costlier as well.
Amazingly, none of these facts came up at Senate hearings on Goldman Sachs’ activities, which may be nothing more than Ross Perot’s famous “gorilla dust,” meant to distract us from the real issues.
The climate trading scheme being stitched together here will do more damage than Goldman Sachs, AIG and Fannie Mae combined. But it will bring power and money to its architects.
Lest you forget the communistic “spread the wealth” and “economic justice” angle to all of this, here’s a bit of video of Obama’s head of the Environmental Protection Agency, Lisa Jackson. Notice, she isn’t saying much about actually protecting the environment, but sure is interested in “gettin’ paid!”

Franklin Raines, perhaps one of the most crooked men alive, the man who stole $90 million dollars, for himself, while head of Fannie Mae…by cooking the books, a deed that most certainly helped cause the housing collapse and economic hardships we are in now, used taxpayer money to buy the technology to measure and manage “carbon.” The “big board.” The patent for this nonsense was granted the day after Obama won the presidential election. GIM, the collaboration between Al Gore and the Goldman Sachs people owns 10 percent of CCX, and it’s potential $10 trillion yearly take, Goldman Sachs also owns 10 percent of CCX. This is an incredible weave of corruption, deceit, and greed. Remember when Obama said last week that at some point one has “made enough money” ? Obviously this vile concept doesn’t apply to Obama himself or his crooked friends.
There is only one way to stop this nightmare from reaching it’s full potential, and the destruction of civil society as we know it, and that is to make sure no legislation mandating cap and tax, or any other “climate change” tomfoolery ever comes to fruition.
With the enviro-moonbattery that is being ginned up over the tragedy in the Gulf, you can bet Obama and his co-conspirators will be working at breakneck speed to get the legislation in place that will make them wealthy beyond all description, and enslave mankind to their will for all eternity.
This must be stopped and stopped now. In a just society, men like Al Gore, George Soros, Barack Obama and the rest of this criminal enterprise, would be thrown in a dark prison to rot, never to see the light of day again.
I’m not sure we can make that happen, but we can expose these people and make sure none of their plans come to fruition. We can then start voting all of those who sympathize with this nonsense out of office until there are no more Marxists, progressives, or any other corrupt beings serving in any elected office, at any level. This is the only way we can save the nation, and the world.
A new Wall Street Journal/NBC poll has some very interesting bits of data scattered within. As expected in this poll, Barack Obama’s favorable/unfavorable numbers are upside down, and support for his unconstitutional “health care reform” has collapsed.
Being an NBC poll, the internals are about what you’d expect:
Out of the 1008 questioned, democrats are over sampled by 6 percentage points over Republicans, though those who claim to have voted for Obama vs McCain are closer with only 3 points between them. So that sort of brings it back a little closer to reality.
Ninety percent of those polled are registered voters, not always the most reliable sample, as out of those polled, only sixty-seven percent voted. So one would have to consider this a soft sample. In other words those polled may, or may not reflect the mood of the nation as well as a sample that contained a higher percentage of likely voters. The margin of error is +/- 3.1 percent.
What is interesting though is what is down further into the poll. Half of those polled were asked who they respected the most and half were asked who they respected the least. This yields some remarkable findings:

This is interesting to me mainly because it shows how just wording a question differently can yield somewhat different results. While in the first question Barack Obama is the most respected out of the bunch. When a different group is asked to name those who are least respected Obama has the dubious honor of finishing rather high in the ranking here as well. In fact, on the old disrespect-o-meter, more people have little regard for Obama than Sarah Palin.
What does this really mean? Practically nothing! But it tells us that in the grand scheme of things Sarah Palin may have a little work to do yet, when it comes to repairing her image, after being savaged by the media non-stop for a year. Of course, she has plenty of opportunities to do just that.
On the other hand, Barack Obama has done all he is ever going to do. While folks tend to like him personally, he consistently earns poor marks for actual job performance, which is what matters. So, for Obama, it’s all downhill from here.

In their efforts to bring attention to all of the greed and lies the Big Government-Climate Change-Global-Industrial Complex trade, a group of documentarians have released a film entitled Not Evil, Just Wrong which you can learn more about here.
This is a noble effort, for sure. They attempt to tone down the heated debate over the global warming hoax, the greatest lie ever told, but as noble as it is, they miss the point. While most of those at the top of this scheme are just dishonest, greedy, and only in it for the money, others are true believers, borderline sociopaths, who wield great power and influence within the science community.
Men like Al Gore, Barack Obama, and their associates, along with giant corporations, like General Electric, are in this for the power and money. They are simply liars whose greed and lust for God-like power over all of mankind drive them. OK, with Al Gore, and Obama, there is probably some psychosis, as well…. Probably a great deal of it…. But for the most part, with this group it is all about getting filthy rich and remaking governments to take all power away from the individual and place it with the select few “enlightened leaders.”
Of course, there is an inherent evil in what Barack Obama, Al Gore, and company want to do. Their plans will enslave all of mankind. They will, as Obama himself has boasted, make energy prices “skyrocket.” In fact, Lord Obama calls this necessary:
The only reason, of course, that is “necessary” for energy prices to “skyrocket” is to raise taxes to feed the Big Government-Industrial-Complex that Obama and other communist “leaders” wish to construct and maintain. You see to communists, Big Government is the end all, be all, to everything. People matter little to them. Ordinary citizens only serve one purpose. Communism enslaves mankind, forcing the ordinary, “un-enlightened” to work and pay taxes. Taxes that fund their Big Government monster. Other than that, communists have little or no use for the bourgeois peasants of society.
As inherently evil as communism is, and men like Obama and Al Gore are, there are some that are far worse. These are the true believers, the real psychopaths. Obama has these sorts in his Cabinet, men like Cass Sunstein, who is in charge of regulating anything and everything in American society. This is a truly evil little man who feels you have no individual rights. While we have talked a lot about the many off the wall things this guy believes, and they are many, the one that always comes back to me is the fact this guy thinks animals should all have lawyers and be able to sue humans in court.
What’s really disheartening about Sunstein is that, unlike many of Obama’s Czars, who are appointed with no accountability, this supremely insane man was actually confirmed by the United States Senate, with some Republicans voting in the affirmative, as a member of Obama’s cabinet. Pretty much tells you the state of depravity and corruption our Congress wallows in.
Then you have John Holdren, Obama’s “Science Czar.” This guy is precious. He believes in serious forced population control, as do most of those surrounding Obama. Holdren believes the Constitution would allow for forced abortions to facilitate this population control. Holdren once proposed a plan that would see sterilization agents placed in the nation’s water supply, in another charming scheme to rid the planet of all of it’s pesky people. This man is one of Obama’s close and trusted advisers.
And of course, there is Dr Death, Ezekiel Emanuel. He is the brother of Obama’s Chief-of-Staff, Rahm Emanuel. A modern day Josef Mengele, Dr Death is the architect of the health care rationing scheme that will most certainly be used to deny health care to those that Dr Death’s formula has deemed “unworthy” of any care, or as Sarah Palin has called them, “death panels.”
We’ve written extensively about these three very sick, and very dangerous men. But they are just the tip of the iceberg, so to say. One of my wonderful colleagues put together a list of quotes that will raise the hairs on the back of your neck. These aren’t just random loons either. These are powerful, influential, and “highly respected” members of the United Nations, university professors, government officials, and others who are the ones being listened to, exclusively, on the subject of global warming.

Don’t you just love Al Gore’s last quote! Al Gore is basically saying global warming is a “religion.” Wonder where the ACLU and all of the other loons who shout “separation of church and state” at the very thought of some child praying in school, or a copy of the 10 commandments, or a Christmas tree, being placed in the public square, are at on all of this? When will the lawsuits start flying?
Something tells me not to hold my breath.
If you notice, there are some common themes here. The number one theme being the elimination of mankind, or at least most of it! These people envision mass murder on a biblical scale. They see man as nothing more than a cancer on Mother Gaia!
Of course, one has to wonder, if these people feel this strongly about eliminating all of mankind, why don’t they lead by example. Why don’t they take the first step? The world could certainly get along with a few less psychopathic scientists, professors, and Big Government officials!
Another strong theme is the destruction of the United States, the greatest nation man has ever known, and the only nation where man is truly free. (at least for now)
Now one must remember that Barack Obama is 100 percent on board with all of this. These are his people. I submit most his reasons are for money, and power, but by simply endorsing the global warming hoax, he’s in bed with these people.
You ever wonder why Obama isn’t really doing anything about unemployment? Every wonder why he, and Congress are running up incredible debt? Do you even realize that since Obama has been in office that our budget deficit has quadrupled?
How about the fact that in the less than one year that Obama has been President, the United States has spent more money than all of the previous 233 years combined? I’m talking about the fact that Obama and the most corrupt Congress in our nation’s history have spent more money in less than one year, than all of the previous Presidents combined. From George Washington to George W Bush, Obama and his cronies have spent more money than all 43 Presidents, COMBINED! This of course, is unsustainable.
By the way, Congress is set to vote to raise the debt ceiling by nearly $2 trillion! This will of course give us a debt that can never be repaid, and will lead to, at best, the enslavement of all Americans into perpetuity, and at worst, the complete destruction of the nation, which is obviously the goal.
Ask yourself why Obama is doing insane things like bringing confessed terrorists to New York for a show trial. These terrorists, the masterminds of 9/11, have already confessed to their terrorism, and have been asked to be put to death. We should be asking ourselves why these terrorists have not already achieved room temperature!
Of course, by allowing these animals a show trial, complete with all of the constitutional rights guaranteed all American citizens, a few horrible things will happen: One, these animals and their attorneys, will be given discovery. They will be able to learn many top secret techniques, the names of operatives, and so on. This information will end up in the hands of terrorists world wide. Remember the trials after 1993 bombings at the World Trade Center? Attorneys for the terrorists passed key classified information to al Qaeda. This aided the very people Obama is bringing to New York in their planning for 9/11!
Another thing that will happen, is the attorneys for the terrorists will most certainly put the United States on trial. Many, myself included, see this as Obama and Holder’s way to fulfill the wet dreams of far left loons that make up the voting base of the democrat/communist party. With this trial the far left will get to see the “evil” George Bush, Dick Cheney, our CIA, and the brave men and women of our military on trial. This, of course, with cause our nation great harm.
The show trial will also provide a platform for these animals to spew their hatred for the United States on a daily basis, throughout the world’s media. As you well know, the media will hang on their every word, and corrupt outfits like the New York Times, MSNBC, and CNN with have many sympathetic stories about these “poor misunderstood souls.” Why I bet Obama’s longtime preacher, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, in his best Goddamn America style, will give another sermon about how “America’s chickens have come home to roost!”
Note that Obama doesn’t think his church and pastor of 20 plus years are “particularly controversial.” Of course he doesn’t. This guy was marinated in hatred of the America since birth!
The 9/11 terrorists will use the platform of this show trial to not only broadcast hatred for America worldwide, they will use it as a powerful recruiting tool for terrorists world wide. Untold thousands, if not millions will die because of this. American assets world wide will be in danger. This will most certainly cause problems in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
Ask yourself why Obama would do this. If you are having problems, go back and read the quotes from all of the “esteemed” climate change zealots above.
Now that we’ve talked about the radical ultra-left’s goal of the destruction of America, a common goal shared by the current occupant living at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, lets talk about something even more despicable, and diabolical:

desires to see these third world countries continue to remain as such, and those 100’s of millions of people continue to live lives of poverty, disease, and hopelessness, that leaders of many of these nations walked out of the highly touted Copenhagen Climate Change Conference that is in progress.

We’ve seen this kind of hysteria before. Back in the 1960’s the loons decided that DDT was the worst substance known to man, even though the “science” used was as faulty as it could possibly be.
A woman named Rachelle Sklar wrote a book called Silent Spring. Like Gore’s book, An Inconvenient Truth, Sklar’s book was filled with half truths and out and out lies. The bottom line is this, DDT was banned.
Now DDT is one of the greatest chemicals ever invented…. Seriously…. The guy who figured out DDT was a great pesticide won a Nobel Peace Prize. This of course is when that prize actually meant something.
DDT is very effective at killing mosquitoes. Mosquitoes, of course, carry malaria.

In cases where bird populations did decline, it was revealed that in most cases the decline began either well before widespread use of DDT began or years after it was banned. Environmentalists dispute the findings, but on the other hand … who gives a **** about the damn birds? Especially considering …
In 1972, DDT killed fewer people than …
Freaking malaria.
See, what many people don’t know about DDT is that the person who discovered that it could be used as a pesticide actually won a Nobel Peace Prize. Why? Because it was kind of effective in fighting malaria. When spraying of DDT stopped in Ceylon (present day Sri Lanka), malaria cases rose from 17 in 1963 to 2.5 freakin’ million in 1969, an increase of approximately a bajillion fofillion percent. And to this day, the mosquito remains the deadliest killer Mother Nature has to offer, with a confirmed 2 million kills per year.
But, hey at least there’s a lot more ospreys around.”
Here is a real world example of why anytime someone is out there shouting and screaming like their hair is on fire, and is trying to get you to buy into their fantasy, PEOPLE DIE! Millions of them!!
Right now, if you turn on one of the TV channels that push the “green” religion like an episode of the 700 Club, you know the ones, you’ll be bombarded with ads from charities that are raising money to buy mosquito nets in bulk and send them to Africa, where millions die each and every year from malaria!
In other words, primitive 13th century technology for the 21 century. It’s truly criminal when you consider that DDT is a perfectly safe chemical that was proven to kill mosquitoes and basically wipe malaria off the face of the earth!
This would be exactly like banning polio, smallpox, or other vaccines we all routinely are give when we are kids. Can you imagine the outcry if “scientists” claimed that such beneficial vaccines should be banned, based on dubious research!
And speaking of childhood, and DDT, when we were kids growing up in the mid-sixties in our small Texas town, the city came around once a week with a pick-up truck that had a fogger mounted in the back. This old Dodge truck would go down each and every street in town during the season, spraying DDT. We didn’t have a mosquito problem.
We did have, and still do have a HUGE problem with big black birds that make a mess everywhere! They were unaffected by the “evil” concoction
Now, bounce all of that against the quotes above from the climate change zealots.
We know two things that are absolute. One, DDT is a safe and proven pesticide that kills mosquitoes, dead! Mosquitoes of course, carry malaria. Second, we know that malaria, like clockwork, kills millions world wide annually. All of these deaths are in underdeveloped third world countries.
Again, go back and read all of the quotes above.
We have a readily available solution to this problem. In fact, a Nobel Prize was awarded to researcher who discovered this wonder chemical’s effectiveness at killing mosquitoes. This was a true miracle. A real godsend. To think, millions upon millions of lives were saved from incredible suffering and death because of a simple concoction.
Nowadays, citizens in these third world disaster areas rely on charities that send mosquito nets, ancient technology, as their only safeguard against certain death! What a great way for “the enlightened” to implement their plans for reducing the world’s population. And make no mistake about it, those quoted are some of the people who strongly oppose DDT, and pretty much every pesticide known to man.
I’ve never been one to subscribe to wild conspiracy theories, but when you look at the evidence, out of these people’s own mouths, one starts to see the deliberateness of seemingly unrelated events.
It’s quite obvious that these so-called “enlightened ones” mean, in their own way, to destroy mankind. They mean to destroy the United States first though..
Now why is this? Why must the United States be destroyed?
Well, let me tell you. The United States is the greatest nation the world has ever know. The United States has done more for the greater good of all mankind, in her short 233 years, than all of the other nations in the history of the world, combined. The United States is the one nation that celebrates the individual. The United States is the one nation that celebrates individual freedom and liberty, above all.
Most importantly, the United States is the world’s last great hope for all of mankind. By her very existence, the United States gives those in the rest of the world hope. Millions upon millions are inspired by this great nation. Millions upon millions dream of coming to America and living the American dream. Just knowing the United States exists gives millions hope they would otherwise never know. The “enlightened” simply can’t allow this. Their evil plans will never come to pass as long as America exists.
Thus, America must be destroyed!
The American people will never willingly go along with the radical’s plans. Look at how Obama campaigned for his job. Why he was a cross between Ronald Reagan and Abraham Lincoln! Like most democrat/communists, Obama ran as a “centrist” if not a full blown Conservative, on many issues. Democrat/communists always must do that. If they tell you, up front, what they are about, they’d never win another election! So, thy must lie to the people, always.
The proof is in the pudding, too, as America is soundly rejecting Obama and his corrupt democrat/communist controlled Congress. Obama’s latest poll numbers bear this out. No other President has seen them so low, at this point in their presidency.
So, America must be destroyed. Schemes like the global warming hoax, which will bring about cap and trade legislation, that will not only collapse the economy, and destroy millions of jobs forever, but will also enforce radical draconian policies that will effect every single facet of your lives, must come to pass.
As if the global warming hoax isn’t enough to destroy America, and her economy, you have the most corrupt Congress in history feverishly working to totally remake our health care system into something totally unrecognizable to the American citizen.
ObamaCare will accomplish several things for the radical communists. The greatest being it will totally usurp the Constitution. Basically void it. It sets up a strict command and control central government. An all powerful affair that will be, by law, able to control the most minute details of your soon to be miserable lives.
This, of course, is in direct opposition to the intentions of our founding fathers, who saw America as a federal system where the states and the individual had all of the power, and the central government’s only purpose was to do things that enhanced and strengthened that proposition. My how far we have come!
And don’t forget about the “death panels” that Sarah Palin so eloquently talked about. Dr Death is on record as saying the very young, those under the age of 15, and the very old, those over the age of 55, are not “as deserving” of health care as those who are between the ages of 16-54. Why? Because those in the middle are the most “productive” to society. In other words, they most likely work and pay taxes to feed Big Government!
How many Americans will die because of government enforced health care rationing? Thousands? Millions? Nice way to reduce the population.
And don’t forget, these same people want to encourage doctor assisted suicide, nationwide, for older folks. These evil “enlightened ones” want to turn our wonderful doctors into a bunch of serial killers!
Thomas Jefferson thought, strongly, that we should have a revolution in the United States every 20 years. Of course, this thinking came from the other notion that the government should always fear the people. The notion that when the people fear government, as they most certainly do now, there is tyranny, but when the government fears the people, there is liberty and freedom. The threat of revolution should always be there, to keep government on it’s toes, and looking out for the people’s interests, not the interests of Big Government.
We must do absolutely everything to stop the direction that radicals like Obama, Al Gore, and other “enlightened ones” are trying to force us to take. There are most certainly more of us than there will ever be of them. It’s about time we do a little forcing of our own.
We must start working at the local level to eradicate the radical far left from civil society. We must look at every position that holds authority. From dog catcher, to the presidency, every single elected, and appointed office, must be rid of these people.
We must look at school boards. We must defeat those who push the radical agenda on our children. We must look at individual teachers. We must do away with the teachers unions that enable the radical teachers. We must look at the colleges and universities. These are breeding grounds for radical Marxists like Obama. Universities are places where communists like murdering domestic terrorist William Ayers and his convicted felon, cop-killing wife, Bernardine Dohrn are considered “respected scholars.” We need to get some sane people in these “institutions of higher learning” to balance the radicals out.
And of course, we must get ready for the 2010 midterm elections. These will be the most important elections in the history of this nation. We must send the current, most corrupt Congress in our nation’s history, packing. With very few exceptions, every single seat in the House, and all of those up for grabs in the Senate, needs to change hands. We need to replace this corrupt body with solid men and women who believe in the Republic, and the Constitution. We must do this to stop Obama and his radical friends.
If nothing else, Congress holds the purse strings, and they can simply defund all of the radical ideas and out of control, runaway agencies, like the EPA, thus stopping Obama in his tracks. Once this is done, we can then focus on 2012 and getting rid of Obama forever.
In closing though, you must remember, those who are pushing the global warming hoax, are not simply folks who are wrong about things. These people are pure evil, and must be stopped for the good of all mankind.
