Multiple Standing Ovations For Governor Sarah Palin at Houston Energy Summit

Sarah Palin new glasses

Before Sarah Palin was Governor of Alaska [and after she was term limited out as Mayor of Wasilla] she was Chairman of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission. One of the most powerful jobs in Alaska, and the oil and gas industry as a whole.

Once elected Governor, Palin was then elected Chairman of the nation’s Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission, which comprises all of the oil and gas producing states in America. The National Governors Association, comprised of Governors from all 50 states elected Palin as Chairman of their Natural Resources Commission.

Palin is a recognized expert on oil and gas production and has been involved in exploration and developing best practices and ethics for the industry.

She is quite famous for taking on Big Oil, numerous times. So much so, industry insiders wrote the best seller Sarah Takes On Big Oil which is still available through Amazon.

By Gary P Jackson

Governor Palin headlined the Decision’s Maker’s Breakfast at the North American Prospect Expo in Houston on Thursday. She was greeted by a standing ovation and left to one as well. “It’s always a pleasure to be back in Alaska’s sister state Texas.” Palin told the excited audience.

When asked, she still isn’t ruling out a presidential run in 2016. Many in the media are ridiculing her for not committing, never mind most so-called hopefuls haven’t either. Here’s the thing. Governor Palin still has her TV show on The Sportsman Channel and new episodes, already filmed, are still airing. Once she declares, The Sportsman Channel will be forced to discontinue airing episodes. There are only a handful of episodes left that haven’t aired. I have no idea whether Palin will, or will not run. I do know there is absolutely no hurry for her to declare, especially when basically no one else has, yet. We all know the rules seem to be different for Governor Palin, but come on!

We have some excepts from Governor Palin’s speech, sourced from several reports. Her speech included a moderated question and answer session. [Which will be reflected by highlighting questions asked]

Energy is my baby. I absolutely love it. It’s the theme that I miss most about my governing responsibilities. Being able to help spur investment and exploration and development and, you know, responsibly extracting that most valuable resource we have in Alaska and so many other places. And being able to feed and fuel our great nation with what God has created for man’s responsible use.”

My husband Todd started off with BP on the North Slope of Alaska. We raised our kids with that North Slope lifestyle. Thank you so much for paying my bills for many years.

About Obama asking Congress to designate parts of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska as a wilderness area, although he will look into opening the Atlantic coast to oil and gas exploration:That’s a bogus exchange. The Atlantic potential out there has already been tried. … Picture a football field — that’s ANWR — and a postage stamp. That’s the size of what we need to explore.

Not to mention the fact offshore drilling has major environmental risks not found when drilling on land! ~ Gary

Concerning slumping oil prices and job cuts:Now is the time to start planning for more drilling, for more production. With downturned prices like this, it gives y’all a chance to sort of catch a breath, right, and plan for the future. We can look at it as the glass half empty or half full. Of course, the half empty part is the job losses. From a humanitarian standpoint, it’s sad to see people threatened with their employment. But, on the other hand, these low oil prices can actually really help spur our economy and, ultimately, help the industry.

Right now low oil prices are helping to spur our economy, though they are hurting the oil and gas industry. Now is the time to plan for more drilling and more production. It’s a time to catch your breath and plan for the future.

Can government do anything to help the industry at this time?Usually government just gets in the way, and is so much of the problem in our economy. But right now government can spur more production by lifting the export ban.

But instead of common sense moves like that, the administration is hurting the industry by blocking Keystone XL, by pursuing land grab in Alaska. By enabling an EPA guilty of vast regulatory overreach. The punative aspect of it is to really stick it to the American people.

The president is not for American energy independence. If he were he wouldn’t be trying to lock up the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge. That’s 20 million more acres he wants to lock up from development.

All we need to explore and develop ANWR is a 2,000 acre swath. Alaska is 400 million acres when you consider our water and land. A postage stamp in the middle of a football field. That’s all the land we need to develop.

As for the Keystone XL pipline:It’s a no-brainer. It’s basic infrastructure. We have millions of mile of pipe streaming across this country. It’s the safest way to transport friendly fuel. It’s a shame [President Obama] has taken off the possibilities for America and for Canada to transport this fuel. It will get to market somehow.

Currently the oil in question is being transported by rail. There have been numerous spills due to derailments. NOT having the Keystone Pipeline is an environmental disaster. With the pipelines, spills are virtually none existent. Conspiracy theories have sprouted due to the fact the railroad used is owned by one of Obama’s top cronies, Warren Buffet. In public Buffet has said he is for the pipeline, even though it would hurt his bottom line. ~ Gary

The administration is not understanding the inherent link between energy and security and energy and prosperity. He’s rewarding the environmentalists who are extreme in saying there would be environmental harm in developing ANWR. They worry about the impact on the moose and caribou. Well we’ve had the Trans-Alaska Pipeline for decades, and that pipeline has not been adverse at all.

On the contrary, “the animals like the warmth that the pipeline gives off. “The animals mate under the pipeline. I haven’t actually seen it but that’s what I’m told. If oil and gas development is risky to wildlife, if it is to hurt one caribou, then that one caribou should take one for the team and allow the rest of the country to benefit.

sarah-palin-alaska-pipeline

Governor Sarah Palin and her team in front of the Trans-Alaska pipeline.

Speaker John Boehner, Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann, they took the time to fly up to Alaska and actually visit ANWR. The president has never been up there. Politicians need to take the time to see for themselves what they’re voting on.

I can’t wait for 2016. That election I can see from my house. I hope for a GOP candidate who understands energy and understands infrastructure.

Hillary Clinton will be the Democrat candidate because she has the money. After her, it’s a shallow bench.”

Is there any chance a dark horse could emerge to challenge her?Not really, because of the money. Hillary Clinton will seize the opportunity to collect those funds. Hillary is it.

As for Vice President Joe Biden? He’s been in politics long enough to have voted against the Trans-Alaska pipeline.

Palin says the field of GOP candidates representa deep bench.”

Common sense conservatives — we’re going to have our hands full.

Is Sarah Palin considering a run?I’m so sorry you asked that. It’s just too early. But a lot can change.”

Can we win?I don’t underestimate the wisdom of the people. Enough is enough for this hopey changey stuff that didn’t work.” America needs common sense. America needs to reclaim exceptionalism.

Candidate Obama promised to fundamentally transform America. But we don’t need that. We need to restore what’s great about America.

On the topic of international relations:

It’s been said that Saudi Arabia has recently been trying to seek back bigger market share. To penalize the shale players. And that the U.S. is going along with it to extract penalties against Putin and Iran.

But a side effect is that the U.S. is becoming more of the global oil swing player. The Saudis are basically allowing America to take over the decide on production levels and the market.

With so much of the world oil supply dominated by OPEC and Saudi Arabia, it’s just such a shame that we are so enormously under the influence of foreign countries.

We want to get out from under that. That’s why I support things like Keystone and fracking and horizontal drilling.

America should have the ultimate goal of being really energy independent, instead of going over to Saudi Arabia and bowing before the king. We don’t want to have to rely on what’s going on over there.

It’s tough to imagine that the Middle East can get even worse than it is, when you consider the evil. The terrorists spreading out across the globe. America losing its position of strength.

But it will get worse.

The Saudis will try to get rid of competition, which includes America.

Russia will be a problem as well.Putin is like a wounded bear. Very unpredictable. He still has the KGB in him. He bullies his neighbors.

There’s reports out there that billionaire Russians out there are helping to fund some U.S. environmental groups that oppose fracking and basic developments here so that the public will want to ratchet down production. That would bolster the position of the Saudis. The Russians. These dollars coming into environmental groups. I would like to find out whether that’s true.

America has to stand up to all this. It’s a psychological, emotional type thing. Our young people are losing the sense of what it means to be America. The Constitution, freedoms. What we will do on our lands. How we will responsibly develop God-given resources for our use. The founding fathers created a blueprint to allow us to be exceptional. We are exceptional.

Freedom isn’t free. You have to fight for it. That’s why I support the U.S. military. They are America’s true heroes.

Thanks to Michelle McCormick for her hard work and contributions.

America, 237 Years Strong and Ready to Grow Stronger

us-constitution

By Gary P Jackson

237 years ago today, a group of brave men stood up and announced their independence from an oppressive, tyrannical government. This bold act of defiance was indeed, treason. A signer of the Declaration of Independence, Benjamin Franklin noted: “We must, indeed, all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately. It was that spirit of comraderie and immediacy that gave their fight purpose.

Even though it may seem dormant, at times, it’s a spirit that lives in all Americans to this day!

Indeed, our founders fought a long and bloody revolution to create what has become the greatest nation this world has ever known. A nation that has been an inspiration, and a force for good the world over.

As Americans we haven’t always seen eye-to-eye on things and even had another, incredibly bloody war, a Civil War, over human rights, and man’s inhumanity to man. In the wake of that war, our nation has matured, grown up, if you will. As this maturation has continued, we’ve seen great things, and done great things, as a nation.

Our people have made countless life saving medical breakthroughs, created countless inventions that have changed the way the people around the world live their lives.

Though he didn’t invent the automobile, Henry Ford’s vision of an efficient system of mass production put the entire world on wheels as he sold tens of millions of his “Tin Lizzy” the Model T. And of course, other car makers around the world adopted, and even perfected Henry’s production system. The automobile has given the world great Freedoms they could only dream of before. The Freedom of movement at one’s own will, the Freedom to travel, explore, and discover …. at one’s own pace, and own route. It’s a Freedom that should never be taken for granted!

From creating a more efficient way to pick and process cotton, to inventing microprocessors so efficient they can do more work than computers that once took up entire rooms and even entire buildings!

In the early 1960s a young and visionary President addressed the nation and announced that man would go to the moon, and return safely, by the end of that decade.

When President John F Kennedy uttered those words, no one had any idea how this could be done. None of the technology needed to do this even existed. The rockets needed to take man into space, were still just as likely to explode on launch as work properly! But on July 20th, 1969 Neil Armstrong took his “One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind” and walked on the moon.

The amount of new discoveries and technologies created along the way to the moon is simply mind-boggling. And people world wide have benefited from those many discoveries and technologies. THAT is the greatness that is America

In the 1930s, while American’s struggled during government’s gross mismanagement of a fiscal crisis, that turned into The Great Depression, other nations struggled as well, many due to the same wrong-headed Big Government policies. In one of these nations, Germany, a great evil came to power and gripped that country. An evil that threatened to envelop the entire world in short order.

Though many considered America down and out, America’s vast industrial might cranked up. And her people joined the fight. America not only got back to work, we freed the world from the evils of Adolf Hitler’s Nazi movement, and the violence of Imperial Japan. Had America not existed, had her free and resourceful people not existed, Hitler’s “Thousand Year Reich” would have come to pass and the entire world would have slipped into darkness, possibly forever.

After the war, former allies, the Soviet Union showed their true colors, and set out to conquer the world in their own ways, spreading evil Soviet-socialism, communism, throughout the land. America fought against this great evil in many ways, but on January 21, 1981 a man would take the Office of President, who would set the wheels in motion that would see the end of the Soviet Union, and the freedom of hundreds of millions of people restored.

President Ronald Reagan never considered the Soviet Union a legitimate nation, nor did he consider socialism-communism, a legitimate ideology. He considered the Soviet Union an “evil empire” and his policy of peace through strength not only won the cold war, without firing a shot, it again made America a true world power, a power for good.

Yes, America and Americans, have, indeed, changed the world. Made the world a better place.

Today, as Americans, we still enjoy great Freedoms, but we also face many problems. We face problems that some feel are so overwhelming, that there is no cure. Some are so disillusioned they have just tuned out. Others are simply oblivious.

We face a true tyrannical government that no longer respects it’s employers, WE the People. In fact, our government “leaders” no longer consider WE the People, their masters. Today they have become the master, and we the slaves to their will.

We have an out of control President who has no respect for the Separation of Powers set forth in our Supreme Law of the Land, our Constitution. Nor does he respect the Constitution itself. We have a President who uses the full power of Government to outright attack groups, and individuals, who do not agree with his ruinous policies, or dangerous visions for America.

We have a Congress filled with some of the most corrupt, and morally bankrupt human beings this nation has ever produced.

Yes, I know there are also some good and decent men and women there as well, and we should count our blessings for that every single day!

We have a Congress though, whose members engage in all manner of corruption, looking to line their pockets, and the pockets of their cronies, rather than do the work of the American people. These corrupt members of Congress grow rich, and enrichen their cronies, on the backs of the American taxpayer.

Recently a huge majority of the United States Senate committed treason by passing a so-called “immigration reform act” that will give amnesty to tens of millions of criminal aliens from around the world, people who are here illegally, and should be forced to leave.

This amnesty will include violent criminals, thieves, gang-bangers, child molesters, wife beaters, and so on. This legislation, if allowed to advance into law, will give employers incentives to hire these newly pardoned criminals over American citizens. This treasonous legislation would further depress the already stagnant wages of American workers for decades to come. Oh, and it won’t do anything to stop the further invasion of tens of millions of more illegals!

The Senate amnesty bill is a direct assault on the American people, in favor of foreign nationals, that allows even more to flood our shores, unchecked. I should think no better definition of treason exists in any dictionary.

Obviously, the legislation must never be allowed to come into law, and those who created and promoted it must be held responsible: Treated as the traitors to the American people they have shown themselves to be. They should be punished to the full extent a traitor deserves.

Why am I saying all of this on this day, a day of great joy and celebration for the greatest nation the world has ever known? Because this IS the greatest nation the world has ever known, and inhabited by the greatest of people.

America, and her people have grown comfortable and complacent. America’s greatness and strength allows many to take our Liberty and Freedom for granted. American citizenship should be an advanced course in participation, but oft-times our citizens just go about their daily lives not even considering the events surrounding them, and how their very Liberty and Freedom is in grave danger. More in danger now, than at any time in modern history,

On this day of great joy and wonderful celebration WE the People must prepare for a new revolution. WE need not fight a bloody revolution, as our founders found necessary. No, WE the People, are in a much stronger position than our founders. But make no mistake, this will be a hard fight. One that would sap the strength and spirit of lesser men and women. But WE the People are NOT lesser men and women! WE come from a stock like no other on earth.

Even though we have people who have come from around the world, stood in line, and worked hard to join us as American citizens, WE are all indeed brothers and sisters in Liberty and Freedom. It is that melding of so many great peoples that has made Americans so strong, stronger than any other peoples who have ever existed! Even, if at times …. we feel that we are not.

On this day, this day of joy and celebration, this day we celebrate Liberty and Freedom, lets renew ourselves to preserving that Liberty and Freedom that so many died for to create, and have since died to preserve.

WE must all make it our work to save America from this tyrannical and out of control government. WE must all make it our work to inform and enlighten those who have been lulled into complacency. And WE must all make it our work to fight those who stand against us, with every ounce of our souls!

WE must never give up. WE must never surrender.

The Great Ronald Reagan saw America as that Shining City on a Hill. Though that light has grown dim in these dark days of tyranny, WE, THE PEOPLE can make that light glow brightly. Brighter than it has ever glowed before. WE have that power!

Let us all, on this day of great joy and celebration, re-dedicate ourselves to the preservation of Liberty and Freedom, and the defeat of the great tyranny that has infected our nation and our lives. Let us stand with those, both in government, and out, who have pledged their lives to preserving Liberty and Freedom, and the greatness of America. They are our brothers and sisters in arms!

God bless you all, and God Bless America, the greatest nation this world has ever known!

Rebuilding the Country

by Whitney Pitcher

They talk about rebuilding the party. How about rebuilding the middle class? They talk about re-branding the GOP instead of restoring the trust of the American people.

[…]

We’re not here to re-brand a party; we’re here to rebuild a country.
[…]

We’re here to restore America. The rest is just theatrics. The rest is sound and fury. It’s just making noise.

Sarah Palin

It seems there has been a lot of sound and fury in the conservative movement over the past week. Disagreements are not necessarily all bad. We’re not sheep. In the midst of all this though, it seems that something has been lost–perspective.

News emerged Thursday that last week’s initial jobless claims rose by 28,000 to 385,000–the highest in four months. This is roughly equivalent to the entire population of Cleveland, Ohio losing their jobs in one week. The labor force in the month of March has not been this small since May of 1979 at 63.3%. In the meantime, between Friday, March 29th and Thursday, April 4, the national debt increased by about $20 billion.

To be sure, the messaging and methods of the conservative movement need to be discussed. However, method and messaging are meaningless to those who don’t have a job and to future generations who will foot the bill for our “leaders” misspending. LOLcats and “good” conservative movies may pad someone’s wallet, but not those who have gotten lost in the shuffle because we’ve focused on the wrong battle.

Confirmed: Record Setting Wednesday for Chick-fil-A

By Gary P Jackson

Yesterday I ran a collection of tweets and photos from around the country, showing huge crowds and long lines at Chick-fil-A restaurants nationwide.

It looked to be an unprecedented event, but one could only speculate.

Yesterday Rick Warren tweeted this:

Today, the company confirms it. Though they don’t release actual numbers, they say it was indeed a record setting day.

CNN offered this:

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Chick-fil-A says it set a sales record on Wednesday, the day that supporters rallied around the fast-food chain amid a debate over its president’s opposition to same-sex marriage.

The chain won’t release sales numbers, but “we can confirm reports that it was a record-setting day,” said Steve Robinson, Chick-fil-A’s executive vice president of marketing.

[ …. ]

The controversy started after an interview with the fast-food restaurant chain’s president and COO, Dan Cathy, appeared in The Baptist Press on July 16. He weighed in with his views on family.

We are very much supportive of the familythe biblical definition of the family unit,” Cathy said. “We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that.

From the Los Angeles Times:

Chick-fil-A appears to have set a company record in sales on Wednesday, a day on which Americans were encouraged to show their support for the fast-food restaurant whose leadership has drawn both criticism and praise in recent weeks for its opposition to same-sex marriage.

The privately held company declined to give specific sales figures but released a statement to the Los Angeles Times confirming that frenzied sales of chicken sandwiches and cross-cut waffle fries had made for a record-setting day.

We are very grateful and humbled by the incredible turnout of loyal Chick-fil-A customers on August 1 at Chick-fil-A restaurants around the country,” said Steve Robinson, executive vice president of marketing, in the statement. “While we don’t release exact sales numbers, we can confirm reports that it was a record-setting day.”

The company, which started in 1946 and now has more than 1,615 locations nationwide, recorded annual sales of more than $4.1 billion last year.

Robinson said the Atlanta-based company was “grateful and humbled by the incredible turnout of loyal Chick-fil-A customers” who showed up at outlets in droves coast-to-coast. Customers often waited in long lines, many weathering the blistering summer sun, just to get in the front door.

Such images — as well as those of crowded Chick-fil-A counters and long lines of cars snaking through the drive-thru lanes — created a social media frenzy on Wednesday as they were shared and reshared on a variety of platforms, including Twitter.

The images suggested that sales were indeed going gangbusters, and confirmation of those suspicions arrived when Orange County Pastor Rick Warren tweeted a snippet of a conversation he’d had with Dan Cathy, president of the popular fast-food chain:

@DanCathy just called me. #ChickFilA has already set a world record today, with 7 more hrs to go in the West. #OutOfChicken

The company, which proudly abides by Bible-based principles and closes its doors to sales on Sundays, stressed in its statement that Chick-fil-A did not promote Wednesday’s turnout.

It also stressed that its employees abide by a service tradition to “treat every person with honor, dignity and respect — regardless of their belief, race, creed, sexual orientation or gender.

Robinson’s statement alluded to rumors that another protest (including “kiss-ins“) will be staged at Chick-fil-As on Friday by same-sex marriage supporters, which in turn has led to rumors of counter-counter-protests … you get the idea.

The company says Friday will just be another day, and another opportunity: “We understand from news reports that Friday may present yet another opportunity for us to serve with genuine hospitality, superior service and great food.

Read more and see local video coverage here.

Fox News has it’s report here.

ABC has it’s version here.

There are hundreds of local news reports confirming the same robust sales nationwide.

I find it interesting to see the numbers of Blacks interviewed by the media. Though many of then vote democrat, Blacks tend to be very traditional when it comes to things like marriage and religion. They tend to highly oppose gay marriage. I’m surprised the media interviewed so many, knowing the narrative they’d love to push.

For the record, I don’t particularly care if a person is gay or straight. Like Dr Martin Luther King counseled, I’d rather judge folks by the content of their character. That said, marriage is a religious ceremony, and a concept that dates back thousands of years. It is supposed to be between a man and a woman. It’s no more difficult than that.

I aggravates me to see militant, and often hate-filled, radicals attack others for simply holding beliefs that are shared with the vast majority of people from around the world and every religion .

I’m also curious why these hate-filled, militant activists never, ever attack Muslim businesses or the Muslim religion. Islam teaches gays must be put to death. Christianity is just against two of them marrying. Which is worse?

Christianity teaches “love the sinner, hate the sin.” Islam teaches “kill em all!

Of course, we all know the answer why these cowards choose to direct all their hate toward Christians, instead of Muslims. Christians don’t behead folks or strap bombs on their children and send them into crowds.

It would do the radicals good to remember which religion is more tolerant.

Michael Moriarty: Sarah Palin IS America

By Gary P Jackson

Michael Moriarty writes in Big Hollywood:

America is, as they say, “on” to the slick exterior of Barack Obama. Sarah is even beyond a breath of fresh air to the rancid, smelly corruptions going on in both the Republican and Democratic Parties.

I don’t see how the Republican Party can live without her!

I don’t see how America can survive without her!!

And if she doesn’t run?

Obama will be reelected. He’s the new Jimmy Carter and without a Ronald Reagan Carter would have been back in office.

So Palin is the new Reagan?

Better than a new Reagan. She’s the complete symbol of pro-life. Nothing less will put the United States back on track. She doesn’t talk pro-life. She and Trig are the very meaning of pro-life.

In the same way, she doesn’t talk the renewal of basic American values. She is America.

Are Americans really as “stupid” as Bill Maher says they are?

If so, then they all must, at heart, be as “stupid” as the elitist press of both the Republican and Democratic Parties say Sarah Palin is.

If the “stupid” American people see enough of themselves in Sarah Palin, they will, indeed, put her into office.

Ms. Palin is here! She’s the profoundest of quintessentially American realities! To not elect her is for America to sell not only herself out but the rest of the world as well.

To not elect her is to not know America’s greatest enemy and that enemy can be summed up in two words: the Obama Nation.

Lincoln predicted that America would not be destroyed by a foreign power. If she dies, it will be by suicide.

Sarah is the only life raft America has right now. Any other candidate for the Republican Party, Romney in particular, will eventually be in the back room cutting deals with a virulently Progressive Democratic Party, a radically Leftist’s poison that has, with Obama, proven its own promise: “the fundamental transformation of the United States of America.

After four years of Obama, the Dr. Jeckyll of America has already become Mr. Hyde. This radical experiment with a known Marxist in the Presidency?

Suicide.

Why I Am Now Using Bing Instead Of Google

We are all creatures of habit, and certainly known to take the path of least resistance when it comes to such mundane things as searching the vast internet for information. Most folks use Google, because it’s big, and well, we know it.

There are other search engines out there, but most are rather limited, so the old habit remained.

There are a lot of reasons why many of us get frustrated with Google. They have been known to play games with information, and of course, push their agenda by what one sees first when they search information, images, or video. This is especially frustrating if you are a conservative looking for information.

As aggravating as the Marxist-progressive bias of Google is, the real slap in the face is how they showcase their site on holidays. Google might do something special for May Day, May 1st, the celebration of communism, or maybe Cinco de Mayo, the May 5th celebration, cooked up by a Mexican beer company as a promotion, but other more important and significant events are downplayed, or ignored.

Personally, I was one of those cats who just griped about it all, and went on, because it was just easier to do that. I figured it wasn’t a war worth fighting, then I found this article on June 6th, the anniversary of the D-Day invasion, on the website Jessica’s Well:

Check out their respective pages on June 6. Bing’s home page (above) shows an aerial photograph of the American Cemetery located in Normandy.

Google? Nothing. Move along. Nothing to see here. Nothing of note ever happened on June 6th.

Actually this is just one of the reasons. The main reason is that I just don’t trust Google. Google makes money for one reason and one reason only: They know a bunch of stuff about you and the more they know the more they get paid. If you could break the old Stasi into two separate operating entities, one that ran the informants and the other that did the interrogations and disappearances, Google could run the former.

But not the latter….because their corporate motto is “Don’t be evil“, you see.

This was all it took to get me off high center about Google.

BTW, Google has been running a World Cup Soccer theme, because soccer players have done so much for your Freedom and Liberty, or something.

I have to report that I starting using Bing on that day, June 6th, and have not regretted it one bit. Bing is easier to use, especially if you’d like a preview of the text. Searching videos is the absolute best experience ever.

So far I haven’t found myself wanting for information in any way, though I will admit Bing is a tad light on images. I would think that will change in time, as more people start using the service.

Anyhow, this is why I have switched to Bing, and suggest others give it a try as well. I think you’ll be happy you did.
