James Delingpole: “God, I wish Sarah Palin would stand for president”

James Delingpole and Fan

A little housekeeping from last week’s CPAC 2014 event and Governor Sarah Palin’s earth-shaking headliner speech.

James Delingpole, Executive Editor at Breitbart London and author of Little Green Book of Eco-Fascism made the trek across the pond to attend CPAC 2014.

A good time was had by all of the Breitbart gang, as usual!

As I was live tweeting Governor Palin’s speech on Saturday, lots of people were fired up, and many were saying “Run Sarah, Run” in their tweets in response to her rousing commentary. One of those excited by the Governor was James Delingpole:

And later, after the Governor’s speech had a bit of time to sink in:

This is remarkable if only for the fact that Delingpole, while being an admirer of Palin’s, and having written extensively about her, has been on the “she’s better as a cheerleader than a candidate” bandwagon.

We’ve always thought the Governor was capable of being both a kingmaker, as well as “king,” so to speak. Of course, we would love to see Governor Palin in the 2016 race as well.

Video: Governor Sarah Palin’s Exciting, Powerful CPAC Speech

By Gary P Jackson

CPAC 2014 saved the best for last, as Governor Sarah Palin gave the keynote address. This will be one we won’t forget any time soon!

Too many great quotes to list, so just watch the video! Governor Palin takes on everyone who is screwing America up! Barack Obama, the Republican Party “elite,” the corrupt media, and well, liberals in general.

This is the reddest of red meat, with a generous side of humor, and reflection. This is why we love Sarah Palin. And why you’ll hear the entire crowd shout “Run Sarah, run!.” [and get a kick out of her witty reply]

Enjoy:

Governor Sarah Palin Re-Writes Dr. Seuss: ‘I Do Not Like This Uncle Sam, I Do Not Like His Health Care Scam’

By Gary P Jackson

We’ll have full video up shortly, but here’s a little teaser from Sarah Palin’s incredible just completed speech at CPAC!

Suffice it to say Governor Palin brought the house down with several standing ovations during her speech.

In a nod to Senator Ted Cruz, and after some prodding from the crowd…

From our friends at the Weekly Standard:

Sarah Palin, inspired by Ted Cruz’s reading of Green Eggs and Ham during his filibuster last year, re-wrote the Dr. Seuss classic to whack Uncle Sam at CPAC today

I do not like this Uncle Sam. I do not like his health care scam. I do not like oh, just you waitI do not like these dirty crooks, or how they lie and cook the books. I do not like when Congress steals, I do not like their crony deals. I do not like this spying, man, I do not like, ‘Oh, Yes we can.’ I do not like this spending spree, we’re smart, we know there’s nothing free. I do not like reporters’ smug replies when I complain about their lies. I do not like this kind of hope, and we won’t take it, nope, nope, nope.”

Photo: Our next President and Vice President?

If they want a fighter, if they want someone who can so respect our exceptionalism, everything that makes America great, the promise of America. And if we don’t find that, then I would run.
