Hillary: “This Was the Fog of War” Interview with Baier and Van Susteren

By Isabel Matos

It was a quiet day and then… Hillary.  Hillary on CNN. Hillary on Fox News.  I had so much I wanted to say about the CNN interview but below is the FOX News interview with Bret Baier and Greta Van Susteren (in four parts). It was incredible. I’m not an expert on Hillary or body language but she did not seem comfortable especially at the beginning. Her eye contact with the interviewers was brief. She did listen and look at them intently while they asked their questions but she resumed to using lot of hand gestures and looking down again when it was her turn to reply. There was that awkward laugh as well.  The cackle.  Part 1 of 4.

Part 1 video clip Benghazi, the Video, President’s whereabouts night of the attack.

Was there any moment where she was sincere? It seemed like it was all spin and denial. Just lies. And excuses.

Unlike the CNN interview where she seemed to be speaking to O.J.’s jury (the audience) who could not see wrong, she was challenged by respectful interviewers and an intelligent viewership on Fox who saw right through her well-rehearsed lines. Her answers were so difficult to digest they were even entertaining. Like O.J. all you could think of as she spoke was the magnitude of the lies and her attempts to save herself – one could consider her actual lifetime achievement. She’s soulless but was still treated like a legendary figure and fragile vase by all who trashed her in 2008  on CNN. Either way it was pitiful.

As the attack is happening Hillary writes in her book that she goes from her 7th floor of State department to her home in Washington. Her Deputy Assistant Secretary Charlene Lamb testified before Congress last year that she was in contact in real time contact with the diplomatic security agent who was manning the  on the grounds in Benghazi while the attacks were going on.  He alerted the Embassy in Tripoli, CIA and Bureau of Diplomatic security in D.C.

Hillary says they did not have a real time video to follow what was happening on the ground in Benghazi but that they were in direct communication-insofar as it was possible as they were under heavy attack. She said they (security) had a lot going on there. She spoke with Director Petraeus not Panetta specifically, and was on a secure video conference with a full array of officials with National Security Adviser, Secretary Panetta and General Dempsey. She said the Defense department was in the room where the video conference was going on.

Hillary said she did not talk to Lamb that night, that Lamb was not the only one monitoring the phone lines. This is important because Charlene LAMB had sent to Tripoli a response per Hillary (July 2012) not to make formal requests for an extension of security teams to leave in August

Hillary testified January 2013 that she did not know of any reports that contradicted the IC (Intelligence Community).  She described this as “the fog of war.”  She said that the investigations carried out concluded that the intelligence community concluded that the protests were spontaneous. At the time they said the assault in Cairo was assessed as spontaneous protests clearly linked to the video.

There were no doubt terrorists involved -attackers- but there was a multitude of characters involved who had different motivations (extremism, ideology, video).  Bret asks if she talked to Obama that night. She said the president was in the oval office when she got word of the attack. She needed to talk to our defense officials, Panetta and the president who said “Do everything you can.”

Bret puts out the press release where she blames inflammatory material on the violence that broke out but Hillary doesn’t remember whether she talked about the video to the President or not.  She said her priorities were straight-to protect our people, get them to safety, make sure that other attacks or other posts were not going to happen, and let’s learn what happen to prevent in real time. Bret’s reaction:

Hillary says she knows there are a lot of questions, refers to the unclassified version of the Accountability Review Board by Congressional Committee, suggesting viewers consult those.

Part 2 video clip Afghanistan, Bergdhal exchange, 5 Taliban released in Qatar, Egypt – not a threat or dangerous. Iraq

Part 3 video  Back to previous remarks she made about taking responsibility after the Benghazi attack. “What exactly were you taking responsibility for?” Baier questioned.

Part 4 video  Clinton on Jailed Marine Sgt. Tahmooressi, NSA Spying, Sexism, ‘Phony’ IRS Scandal

Greta has always defended Governor Palin. They have traveled with Reverend Graham on missions together with their husbands.  Greta has visited Alaska at least a couple of times. She has admired how they go about their life – without security, despite all the attention and threats they’ve been the objects of.  I can only imagine Sarah’s truthful ways and transparency must have had an effect on her over time. She genuinely respects Governor Palin and has always defended women’s rights. She pointed out to Hillary that yes, there was sexism against her in 08, but when no one came to Sarah’s defense after being accused of not being the mother of her baby with special needs, the silence was deafening.  Hillary was agreed and that was as close to a real moment as we got tonight I think.

The book Hillary is promoting Hard Choices is not doing well. I am sure no one would want to buy a book to read about a cover up. They would purchase one to know about the truth.  I am glad this day is over. I saved a few more screen grabs from clips 1 and 2.

Al Qaeda Terrorists at Guantanamo and Illegal Aliens Treated Better Than Vets!

By Isabel Matos

That is the GITMO detainee cell picture for the story below, but first Sarah Palin posted this on her Facebook Timeline earlier today:

Any Politician Siding with This Tragic Reality is Unfit for Office

Compliance with these un-American acts in this Obama Era deserves the scorn of citizens; we will do all we can to oust those who follow the Obama/Pelosi/Reid lead on disgusting treatment of our military and red carpet treatment of their law-breaking chosen ones.

She linked Michelle Malkin’s article How America Treats Illegal Aliens vs. Veterans. This is an excerpt of from her article in Townhall.com 5/23/2014:

A government that fails to secure its borders is guilty of dereliction of duty. A government that fails to care for our men and women on the front lines is guilty of malpractice. A government that puts the needs of illegal aliens above U.S. veterans for political gain should be prosecuted for criminal neglect bordering on treason.        …

Compare, contrast and weep:

In Washington, Big Business and open-borders lobbyists are redoubling efforts to pass another massive illegal alien amnesty to flood the U.S. job market with low-wage labor.

Across the country, men and women in uniform returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan have higher jobless rates than the civilian population. The unemployment rate for new veterans has spiked to its worst levels, nearing 15 percent. For veterans ages 24 and under, the jobless rate is a whopping 29.1 percent, compared to 17.6 percent nationally for the age group.

A Forbes columnist reported last year that an Air Force veteran was told: “We don’t hire your kind.”

And last December, Democrats led the charge to reduce cost-of-living increases in military pensions — while blocking GOP Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions’ efforts to close a $4.2 billion loophole that allows illegal aliens to collect child tax credits from the IRS, even if they pay no taxes. The fraudulent payments to illegal aliens would have offset the cuts to veterans’ benefits.

America: medical and welfare welcome mat to the rest of the world, while leavings its best and bravest veterans to languish in hospital lounges, die waiting for appointments, and compete for jobs and educational opportunities against illegal border-crossers, document fakers, visa violators and deportation evaders. Shame on us.

FOX News.com posted an article by and interview (video) with Former Pentagon spokesman JD Gordon saying he has proof Gitmo detainees are treated better than our Veterans.

H/T Veterans for a Strong America for story lead

they deserve better

JD Gordon has been at the medical facility several times (over 30), and says EVEN Michael Moore who was there used a bull horn to say: “We want the best treatment for Al-Qaeda, no more no less.”

To Gordon the issue with the VA is systemic, not monetary: the VA needs a top to bottom review. He emphasized the mentality issue is a “cultural” issue as well. They are just under-performing. There is no sense of urgency. It is hurting our Veterans who deserve better than this. He writes:

President Obama finally addressed the nation Wednesday about the growing scandal at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. After meeting with VA Secretary Eric Shinseki he pledged to hold folks accountable.

Thanks, Mr. President.

By now most American have heard about the VA’s infamous patient “secret wait lists” which reportedly contributed to the deaths of up to 40 veterans in the Phoenix area alone. Those patriots were American heroes who served our country proudly. Yet they were left to die waiting to see a doctor.

While the Gitmo ratio is 1.5 to 1, for America’s 9 million veterans receiving VA health care and 267,930 VA employees, the ratio is 35 to 1.

Here’s another secret the White House doesn’t want you to know about..

By Gary P Jackson

Governor Sarah Palin joined Bill Hemmer and Elizabeth Hasselbeck for Fox’s New Year’s Eve Special. Among her resolutions is to “eat more meat,” follow former UCLA basketball coach John Wooden’s Pyramid of Success and to make the federal government as irrelevant in our daily lives as possible!

Palin Talks Republicans, Bashir & Christmas with Bill O’Reilly

Gov. Sarah Palin appeared with Bill O’Reilly last night at which time they covered a range of topics including Republicans, the TEA Party, Palin’s feistiness, Martin Bashir’s vile personal attack and Palin’s newest book “Good Tidings and Great Joy”.  In my opinion, Palin’s finest moment was her answer to O’Reilly’s line of questions on the Bashir incident.  (Starts at 4:00 mark.)

” I would have never allowed a corporate culture to have such low standards that that kind of vile talk was accepted.”  (Palin on Bashir, former MSNBC host.)

Video: Sarah Palin Urges People NOT Allow Hateful Attacks to Deter Them From “Jumping in the Arena”

Palin Fox and Friends

By Gary P Jackson

Thursday Morning Governor Sarah Palin appeared on Fox and Friends to talk about, among other things, the “resignation” of hate spewing MSNBC anchor Martin Basir. Among other things, Governor Palin makes the point, strongly, that these hate filled democrats are going to attack any American wanting to save this great country, and no one should allow these hate spewing demons to silence them, or intimidate them:

Sarah also hammers the democrats for their hypocrisy on ObamaCare, as well as her new book.

Thursday night Sarah wondered into the “No Spin Zone” for two segments with Bill O’Reilly. The governor even managed to get a few words in as O’Reilly talks over her. No small feat!

O’Reilly was just crying a week ago that Sarah wouldn’t do the Factor because she didn’t want to “mix it up with him.” It seems she is more than capable of “mixing it up” with the overrated blowhard:

My jaw dropped when O’Reilly asked Sarah if she was a “Tea Party gal.” I doubt anyone in America is more associated with the Tea Party than Sarah Palin! Made my head hurt!

Sarah Palin shows how it’s done. She makes great points about never backing down when fighting corrupt, out of touch politicians. You must hold these politicians’ feet to the fire. No quarter.

Fox News Welcomes Back Governor Sarah Palin as Contributor

Karl Rove, and liberals everywhere hardest hit!

By Gary P Jackson

As you know, Sarah Palin left Fox News at the start of the year after an unsatisfactory round of negotiations. Today Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes announced that he had been in talks with Governor Palin for some time and they had finally reached an agreement. Her first day back will be next Monday where she’ll share the couch on Fox and Friends.

From Breitbart’s Tony Lee:

Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin is rejoining Fox News as a contributor less than five months after declining the network’s offer to renew her contract.

Palin will make her first return appearance on “Fox & Friends” next Monday. Internet pioneer Matt Drudge first reported the news on The Drudge Report.

The Power of FOX News is unparalleled,” Palin said in a statement. “The role of FOX News in the important debates in our world is indispensable. I am pleased and proud to be rejoining Roger Ailes and the great people at FOX.”

Fox News chairman Roger Ailes said he hopes Palin “continues to speak her mind.

I’ve had several conversations with Governor Palin in the past few weeks about her rejoining FOX News as a contributor,” Ailes said. “I have great confidence in her and am pleased that she will once again add her commentary to our programming.

In January, Palin declined Fox News’s offer to renew her contract. But because she has always been ahead of the curve in using social media to get her message out to the public, Palin’s influence did not diminish. Unlike establishment Republicans, Palin has never been ashamed of the conservative and Tea Party grassroots and has always embraced the conservative base. This was evident when Palin gave her first interview to Breitbart News in January after her separation from Fox News.

Her savvy use of social media and embrace of new media outlets and conservatives allowed her to remain more than relevant and influential during the time she was gone from Fox News.

According to a Politico analysis, Palin “still garnered much of the same coverage in the first four months of this year as she did in 2012” without a Fox News contract:

From January 2012 to May 2012, Palin received 223 mentions in newspapers; 69 in Web-based publications, such as CNN.com, Washingtonpost.com, POLITICO and USNews.com; 563 in blogs; and her name appeared in 46 news transcripts, for a total of 901 mentions. During the same period this year, in her post-Fox News life, Palin’s still very much in the conversation, with 118 mentions in newspapers, 55 in Web-based publications, 726 in blogs and 12 in news transcripts, for a total of 911 mentions, and she also wrote an op-ed for the conservative website Breitbart.

The move will be mutually beneficial for both parties, for it once again merges the most dominant network in cable television with the most influential figure to Tea Party conservatives–who is also a guaranteed ratings draw.

This is a great move. Again, Governor Palin has been quite successful at getting her words out to the American people by simply using social media, something she’s turned into an art form, but being on the nation’s highest rated news network will not hurt our cause a bit.

With the all-important 2014 elections on the horizon, Governor Palin’s voice [and influence] will be as strong as ever. She’ll be able to give viewers strong commentary and keep pounding Common Sense Conservatism home.

Governor Palin’s Fox colleagues were quick to welcome her back:

Tony Lee was pleased to share his thoughts on Twitter as well:

This last tweet on the subject hits the nail on the head, and gets to the heart of what Governor Palin has been saying for years, about the permanent political consultant class in politics. The sort that lost Mitt Romney the presidency:

Megyn Kelly: Did Attorney General Eric Holder Lie Under Oath?

By Gary P Jackson

Devastating news concerning Obama’s main man Eric Holder. It’s pretty obvious that Holder lied under oath to the House Judiciary Committee investigating the assault on reporters’ Liberty and Freedom.

Now we will see what Congress does about it.

Megyn Kelly talks more about it here. Powerful evidence.

Governor Sarah Palin: Mr President, Where is the Apology and Resignation from Eric Holder?

U.S. President Obama and Attorney General Holder attend the National Peace Officers Memorial Service at the Capitol in Washington
By Gary P Jackson

Governor Sarah Palin takes to Facebook to ask President Obama why no apology and resignation have come from Attorney General Eric Holder:

Where is the apology and resignation of your attorney general, Mr. President?

Governor Palin included the link to this letter from Fox News chief Roger Ailes to his employees:

Dear colleagues,

The recent news about the FBI’s seizure of the phone and email records of Fox News employees, including James Rosen, calls into question whether the federal government is meeting its constitutional obligation to preserve and protect a free press in the United States. We reject the government’s efforts to criminalize the pursuit of investigative journalism and falsely characterize a Fox News reporter to a Federal judge as a “co-conspirator” in a crime. I know how concerned you are because so many of you have asked me: why should the government make me afraid to use a work phone or email account to gather news or even call a friend or family member? Well, they shouldn’t have done it. The administration’s attempt to intimidate Fox News and its employees will not succeed and their excuses will stand neither the test of law, the test of decency, nor the test of time. We will not allow a climate of press intimidation, unseen since the McCarthy era, to frighten any of us away from the truth.

I am proud of your tireless effort to report the news over the last 17 years. I stand with you, I support you and I thank you for your reporting with courageous optimism. Too many Americans fought and died to protect our unique American right of press freedom. We can’t and we won’t forget that. To be an American journalist is not only a great responsibility, but also a great honor. To be a Fox journalist is a high honor, not a high crime. Even this memo of support will cause some to demonize us and try to find irrelevant things to cause us to waver. We will not waver.

As Fox News employees, we sometimes are forced to stand alone, but even then when we know we are reporting what is true and what is right, we stand proud and fearless. Thank you for your hard work and all your efforts.

Roger Ailes

The vicious assault on Liberty and freedom by the Obama regime must be stopped. Obama and his thugs have used the full power of the Executive Branch to attack an untold number of law abiding, hard working, American people. Obama and his thug government have, for all intents and purposes, has declared war on the American people. It’s past time something was done to counter this assault.

Readers will remember the Governor was calling for Holder’s resignation in 2011, after learning the details of the gun smuggling operation Fast and Furious, that saw Holder and Obama arm Mexican narco-terrorists in a failed attempt to use the mass murders in Mexico caused by these weapons, as a way to confiscate weapons from law abiding citizens in our country.

Governor Palin said, in part:

Why would any government official with an ounce of common sense think it’s a good idea to facilitate the smuggling of thousands of guns into the hands of violent Mexican drug cartels? That’s what Operation Fast and Furious did.

More here.
