New SarahPAC Mailer Strongly Suggests Sarah Palin Will Mount A 2016 Presidential Bid

Many long time supporters of Governor Sarah Palin, those of us who have followed her career since early 2007, a year and a half before she was to be chosen as the Republican nominee for Vice President and became an international figure, have been wondering why the Governor has been silent now that several Republicans, including her good friend Ted Cruz, have announced they are officially in for 2016. Maybe, just maybe we have our answer.

Other than jabs at Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney in her Iowa speech, which prompted Rick Moran at PJ Media to say this ….

Palin sounds like a candidate to me. And she’s teeing off on Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney, implying that their establishmentarianism is no better than the status quo — a potent theme that will resonate with the conservative base.
She also implies that Bush/Romney aren’t strong enough to get in the trenches with Hillary and the Clinton machine to duke it out. She certainly describes herself when she says she thinks the GOP candidate should be “considered a bit avante garde.” In fact, the way she describes the ideal candidate is like she’s looking in a mirror…

Palin may have other reasons for running, including denying Romney and Bush a cakewalk to the nomination. Her favorability ratings may be a liability, but her name recognition is far better than any other conservative candidate. Her entrance in the race would be a wild card that could peel off support from both establishment and conservative candidates alike.

I have one pick with Moran’s comments though. The last major poll that included Sarah Palin left her off as a potential candidate, but measured her favorables and unfavorables against a huge field of potential candidates. The 2014 poll had Palin’s favorability at 70%, among Republicans and Republican leaning independents. That’s UP from 67% in 2012 and considerably higher than anyone the pollster, Public Policy Polling, offered up as an actual candidate. Also, people shouldn’t dismiss lightly the fact that Governor Palin has been considered one of the Most Admired Women in the Word in Gallup’s annual survey since 2008, never being ranked lower than third on the list! Palin’s supposed unfavorability is more fantasy than fact!

Governor Palin has focused all of her energy, when it comes to 2016, on Hillary Clinton. She has hammered Hillary for not being able to multi-task, and use one phone for official government business, and one for personal use, going so far as to post a photo of herself, as Governor, holding her newborn son juxtaposed against Hillary’s claimed inability to figure it all out:

In yet another scandal, Hillary was exposed as using her device for both personal and official State Department communications. A big no-no!

Earlier Governor Palin reminded Americans that while Hillary has erased her entire email history at the State Department, after using an illegal computer [something that would have anyone else already serving time in prison] Palin’s own e-mails were put under a microscope with the left wing Washington Post actually asking it’s readers to help scour through some 25,000 emails looking for the “juicy parts” WaPo and it’s readers had hoped to find all kinds of incriminating evidence of SOMETHING, but instead found page after page of e-mails proving that not only was Governor Palin incredibly competent, but proved to be one of the hardest working public servants in the country. Something those of us who have followed Governor Plain for the better part of a decade already knew!

The Palin e-mails also put an end to the lie that she supported and took money for a “bridge to nowhere” when they revealed she wanted to give the money back, and earmark it for replacement of the I-35 Bridge that collapsed in Minnesota, killing and injuring many. Of course, as there was no legal way to do that, the money went to Alaska’s general fund. Governor Palin has consistently said she is “Ready for Hillary” and not in the way the former Secretary of State and world class criminal thinks!

Which brings us to a new mailer from SarahPAC that is making the rounds on Twitter. The letter is titled “I’m ready for Hillary. Are you? A second header proclaims “The First Shot: Clinton vs Palin” Along with the letter, is a copy of the front page of the Boston Herald, dated January 25, 2015 that screams MAKE WAY FOR SARAH and proclaims: GOP Strategists: A Palin ’16 bid is no joke

These mailers are sent to folks who support SarahPAC.

The Boston Herald article is now hidden behind a pay-wall, but our friends at Conservatives4Palin archived it. Here’s the important part:

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s announcement that she’s “seriously interested” in running for president in 2016 could shake up the GOP field, say strategists, who point to the former vice presidential hopeful’s strong base, fundraising ability and star power.

“You’ve got to take her seriously because she can raise a lot of money, she has a big following and she has been through a national campaign, which is important to be competitive in a presidential primary,” Republican strategist Chris Brown told the Herald. “I think she really changes the field and she has the potential to hurt a lot of candidates — especially Tea Party conservatives.”

Former Alabama GOP Chairman Marty Connors said Palin “has built a career around being underestimated.”
“I would immediately put her in as a top- or mid-tier candidate if she decides to run,” Connors said.
[S]he has a built-in constituency and so she wouldn’t have to raise the money that some of the other candidates would and I think she’d be an exciting candidate that a lot of people would rally around.”

As to raising money, I think Haley Barbour got it right when he said of Governor Palin a few years back: “She could raise enough money to burn a wet mule!” In case you don’t speak Mississippian, that means she can raise a hell of a lot of money! But I also agree with Connors, in that she is a known quantity and has not only a huge following, but the ability to attract the news media, who will follow her every move, like the second coming of Elvis!

Governor Palin’s media partner PassCodeCreative recently created a new video for SarahPAC Catch Me If You Can which reminds us about the big stir he bus trip caused a few years back!

Governor Palin and her family drove the media nuts, because she never gave them an itinerary, saying …. rightly so, her trip was about getting out and seeing America and talking to regular Americans, rather than a publicity stunt, like Hillary’s recent Scooby Do bus tour that was a complete and total flop! Governor Palin used this video to make fun of Hillary’s failed tour! And to poke the media again!

In the C4P article we mention above, Steve Flesher links to another Boston Herald article written around the same time by Adriana Cohen that explains the GOP needs a strong Conservative woman, if they intend to defeat Hillary Clinton [or Liz Warren, for that matter]

The GOP needs women on the ticket for many reasons, not least because it steals the Democratic Party’s thunder. They want to be the “first” at breaking cultural barriers and glass ceilings. With Hillary Clinton expected to be their front-runner in 2016, they’ll use her gender as a tactic to gin up support from their base — especially female voters.
I can already see Emily’s List pushing out emails nationwide saying, “Let’s make history by electing the first female president of the United States.”

Cohen goes on to say this about Hillary [and how Sarah is better]: [emphasis mine]

If you’re a female leader on the Democratic ticket, you’re a “hero” regardless of how many times you put your foot in your mouth, embarrass yourself or worse.

We haven’t forgotten Hillary Clinton saying that we should empathize with our enemies or that businesses and corporations don’t really create jobs. Both absurd statements that should disqualify any candidate — male or female — from any race, never mind the top slot.

But if you’re a female conservative? Watch out! Liberals will pounce and do everything they can to marginalize a conservative woman who runs for office no matter how educated, or talented, or accomplished she is. Liberals only “tolerate” others if they agree with them and follow their agenda.

The reality is Sarah Palin draws huge crowds at speaking engagements, has millions of social media followers and just as many supporters across the nation.

Hillary Clinton has been giving speeches to half-filled rooms.

Look, we have absolutely no idea what Governor Palin is going to do, but after she considered a 2012 run, for a long, long time, and then didn’t, causing a lot of disappointment among supporters, it’s hard to fathom she would do that again, especially as aggressive as this latest mailer is.

One of our longtime readers, Joy, made an interesting point a few days ago. If you remember, on September 3, 2011 Governor Palin made a powerful speech, to a massive crowd in Indianola, Iowa, which our Stacy Drake recorded.

While Governor Palin spoke of Liberty and Freedom, the main focus was crony capitalism.

Governor Palin has been going after in corruption in government for over 20 years, ever since her earliest days as the junior member of the Wasilla city council! She famously took down the entire Republican Party machine, in Alaska, which rivaled Chicago, and it’s thug politics, in it’s depths of corruption!

Just a few months after Governor Palin’s well received speech, Peter Schweizer’s brand new book: Throw Them All Out: How Politicians and Their Friends Get Rich Off Insider Stock Tips, Land Deals, and Cronyism That Would Send the Rest of Us to Prison was released.

The book caused a massive stir, as well as top billing on 60 Minutes. Congress passed a law [though later it was quietly neutered] banning lawmakers from insider trading. Peter’s new book, which is set for release May 5, 2015 is already a Number One Best Seller at Amazon!

I’m not sure Joy is off base here at all.

Most people know this, but Peter Schweizer served as Governor Palin’s foreign policy adviser after she left office and created SarahPAC. Peter literally wrote the books [plural] on President Ronald Reagan’s foreign policy, which Governor Palin had adopted as the basis for her own, adding new lessons learned.

What is interesting to me, is after serving under Palin, Peter has written exclusively about corruption in government. Clinton Cash will be his third Best Seller in a row on the subject.

Again, we have no idea what Governor Palin is up, but we have it from sources close to the family that her decision not to run in 2012 came down to strong opposition from her mother and her oldest son, Track.

That said, Governor Palin posted this on Facebook January 22, three days before the Boston Herald article was published:

Hillary: “This Was the Fog of War” Interview with Baier and Van Susteren

It was a quiet day and then… Hillary.  Hillary on CNN. Hillary on Fox News.  I had so much I wanted to say about the CNN interview but below is the FOX News interview with Bret Baier and Greta Van Susteren (in four parts). It was incredible. I’m not an expert on Hillary or body language but she did not seem comfortable especially at the beginning. Her eye contact with the interviewers was brief. She did listen and look at them intently while they asked their questions but she resumed to using lot of hand gestures and looking down again when it was her turn to reply. There was that awkward laugh as well.  The cackle.  Part 1 of 4.

Was there any moment where she was sincere? It seemed like it was all spin and denial. Just lies. And excuses.

Unlike the CNN interview where she seemed to be speaking to O.J.’s jury (the audience) who could not see wrong, she was challenged by respectful interviewers and an intelligent viewership on Fox who saw right through her well-rehearsed lines. Her answers were so difficult to digest they were even entertaining. Like O.J. all you could think of as she spoke was the magnitude of the lies and her attempts to save herself – one could consider her actual lifetime achievement. She’s soulless but was still treated like a legendary figure and fragile vase by all who trashed her in 2008  on CNN. Either way it was pitiful.

As the attack is happening Hillary writes in her book that she goes from her 7th floor of State department to her home in Washington. Her Deputy Assistant Secretary Charlene Lamb testified before Congress last year that she was in contact in real time contact with the diplomatic security agent who was manning the  on the grounds in Benghazi while the attacks were going on.  He alerted the Embassy in Tripoli, CIA and Bureau of Diplomatic security in D.C.

Hillary says they did not have a real time video to follow what was happening on the ground in Benghazi but that they were in direct communication-insofar as it was possible as they were under heavy attack. She said they (security) had a lot going on there. She spoke with Director Petraeus not Panetta specifically, and was on a secure video conference with a full array of officials with National Security Adviser, Secretary Panetta and General Dempsey. She said the Defense department was in the room where the video conference was going on.

Hillary said she did not talk to Lamb that night, that Lamb was not the only one monitoring the phone lines. This is important because Charlene LAMB had sent to Tripoli a response per Hillary (July 2012) not to make formal requests for an extension of security teams to leave in August. 

Hillary testified January 2013 that she did not know of any reports that contradicted the IC (Intelligence Community).  She described this as “the fog of war.”  She said that the investigations carried out concluded that the intelligence community concluded that the protests were spontaneous. At the time they said the assault in Cairo was assessed as spontaneous protests clearly linked to the video. 

There were no doubt terrorists involved -attackers- but there was a multitude of characters involved who had different motivations (extremism, ideology, video).  Bret asks if she talked to Obama that night. She said the president was in the oval office when she got word of the attack. She needed to talk to our defense officials, Panetta and the president who said “Do everything you can.”

Bret puts out the press release where she blames inflammatory material on the violence that broke out but Hillary doesn’t remember whether she talked about the video to the President or not.  She said her priorities were straight-to protect our people, get them to safety, make sure that other attacks or other posts were not going to happen, and let’s learn what happen to prevent in real time. Bret’s reaction:

Greta has always defended Governor Palin. They have traveled with Reverend Graham on missions together with their husbands.  Greta has visited Alaska at least a couple of times. She has admired how they go about their life – without security, despite all the attention and threats they’ve been the objects of.  I can only imagine Sarah’s truthful ways and transparency must have had an effect on her over time. She genuinely respects Governor Palin and has always defended women’s rights. She pointed out to Hillary that yes, there was sexism against her in 08, but when no one came to Sarah’s defense after being accused of not being the mother of her baby with special needs, the silence was deafening.  Hillary was agreed and that was as close to a real moment as we got tonight I think.

Sarah Palin: Obama’s Laziness and Hillary’s Brain Are Off-Limits. Of Course, It’s Raging Liberal Hypocrisy! (New Updates)

Governor Sarah Palin pointed out the double standard of the media keeping silent where Hillary Clinton’s health is concerned, yet not for Conservative women. She highlights the hypocrisy on her FB timeline yesterday (where she shows PROOF of the horrible way she was treated by some in academia in their obsessive efforts to obtain her private medical records).  Issues can never be argued with liberals, she said. They can’t win arguing the points of their politics so they resort to calling you a racist if you take on Obama or a sexist if you disagree with them to stop the conversation. She said Obama knew about problems at the VA six years ago but says we have a commander-in-chief who has not been engaged.  The media won’t touch him.. well.  She says it best using his own words against him: he is too lazy to be held accountable. In case you missed her FB timeline post yesterday: “Obama knows nothing,  sees nothing, and hears nothing unless his lapdogs bark, then his ears perk up.”

House Republicans Busted in “Benghazi: The Truth Behind the Smokescreen” by Bret Baier!

Many of you may have missed it on television, so I urge you to watch the report that aired on Friday, June 28th, on the Benghazi scandal. It is compelling, disturbing and to be continued, I hope!

After spending nine hours putting Bret Baeir’s report in writing (I was so riveted I couldn’t resist!), I can say there were explosive details like the promo advertised, the biggest one for me (because I hate the GOP and always want proof they are against us), can be found at the very end of the article (the tease is already in the title).  I looked up all of the names mentioned in the report myself because I like know who is doing what wrong when bad things happen.

What happened in Benghazi was not just a tragedy, but a blatant, negligent and criminal act on the part of our Government, Obama’s government. It is curious to me that most of the so-called “tragedies” Clinton cited at the very  beginning of the report seemed to be under Democratic Presidents who are usually dangerously naïve or just weak in foreign affairs (I am being kind). The attacks on our soil were incremental, leading to 9/11, the worst one yet.

Speaking of Hillary, after seeing her again today, I was reminded of how repulsive Mrs. Clinton is. She is a villain of the highest order.  She is corrupt.  She has blood on her hands, and she should never be allowed to run for President. She should hang her head in shame, and so should every Republican who defends her, including Rinos like Jeb Bush, John McCain and Marco Rubio, who is now officially a member of the GOPe brotherhood. When they cover for her by thwarting any efforts to investigate infiltration at the highest ranks in our government, it leads me to believe they all have something to hide. I continue to push for our leaders and journalists to EXPOSE infiltration in the GOP, as Michele Bachmann seems to be out to lunch quite a bit lately.

The story of Benghazi seems to strike a deep chord in all of us. The way these Americans died was preventable. It is just so much crueler than the other scandals on Obama’s watch. It is no wonder seventy-one percent of Americans want Congress to continue investigating the Benghazi attacks. (I have news for the American public, and it isn’t good; but for the sake of this post, I will keep my lack of optimism about Congress’s will to do what is right to myself.)

The report begins with a background description of the politics leading up to September 11th, 2012: (U.S. policies towards terrorism)that he sequence of events during the attacks themselves, and the possible presidential cover-up about what happened that night.  The political and bureaucratic smokescreen makes Benghazi not just a tragedy, according to Baier, but a scandal.  The written information is below the clip.  I found the video in an article in Bizpacreview this morning.

1.  Background Politics 

Hillary Clinton states before Congress that to understand Benghazi, one must go back a few years.  Benghazi joins a long list of tragedies for America:  1979 – the Tehran Hostage situation, 1983 – the Embassy and Marine Barracks bombed in Beirut, 1996 – Saudi Arabia Khobar Towers.

Islamic supremacism is the motivating cause of these attacks, according to Andrew McCarthy, former federal prosecutor who won the conviction of the blind Sheik who wanted to bomb New York tunnels and landmarks in the 1990’s.  The ideology, which has not changed, has fueled attacks in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.

The difference between the Obama administration and its critics, is the lessons learned from that history. President Bush treated 9/11 as an act of international terrorism, to be dealt with as an aggression against the U.S. by a hostile power. Obama’s approach was to deny there was a global war on terror. Smart diplomacy would manage the problems in the Middle East and elsewhere.

June 24, 2009 Obama’s apology tour began with his speech in Cairo. It was followed by the brutal suppression of Iran’s Green Revolution, an uprising in Tunisia, and a popular revolt against Mubarak “the Arab Spring”, in Egypt, presenting Obama with a defining foreign policy crisis in the Middle East.

He was forced to explain his intervening in a civil war in Libya to stop the blood bath by Gadhafi in an otherwise unknown place, Benghazi.

September, 2012. A Coptic Christian from a jail cell in Southern California came up with a loopy scheme to make a low-budget film called Desert Warrior. His message to the world:  “Be careful. Evil (Terrorism Culture) coming from the East.” It was released upon his parole and became part of the smokescreen that obscured the truth what happened on the 11th anniversary of 9/11/2001.

To this day, it is unknown where the story of the Mohammed video came from. (John Bolton)

2. Fox NEWS timeline 

Using unclassified and investigated reports released from Congress and the State Department, and public Presidential remarks, as sources, as well as their own investigative reporting, Fox News comes up with a timeline showing how disastrous decisions led to deadly consequences.

October, 2011 – Benghazi was supposed to be safe from violence.  The American compound built West of the city is heavily secured. The “Annex”, now known as a CIA facility, is more than a mile away.

Tripoli is the capitol of Libya. Based there is a Department of Defense Sub-Security Team with Special Forces capability.

February, 2012 – Lieutenant Colonel Andrew Wood, in charge of the SS team in Tripoli, despite security incidents every three days in the Spring of 2012, are set to leave Libya by summer’s end.

March 28th:  Americans send the Secretary of State a cable requesting more security.

April 6th:  A bomb is tossed over the Benghazi compound.

April 19th:  A return cable signed by Clinton says SECURITY WOULD BE SCALED BACK (Clinton would later deny knowing about exchange.)

June 6th:  An IED is placed at the compound’s North gate. No one is hurt, again. Christopher Stevens is the newly named Ambassador asks to keep two security teams the State Department had ordered to be removed.

June 11th:  His request is denied. The Brits decide to pull out of Benghazi after a convoy transporting the United Kingdom’s Ambassador is ambushed.  He was not hurt, but two of his security squad were.  Lieutenant Col. Wood conducted an investigation and said it was clearly an assassination attempt by skilled operators. He realizes these operators are an increasing danger to Americans who are last on their target list.

June 25th: Stevens sends another cable to Washington, warning of a deteriorating situation where Libyan extremists are “targeting international organizations and foreign interests.”

The State tells the Special Forces Security Team protection is not needed in a place like Benghazi.

Bret speaks with Lieutenant General Morgan who was the United States Deputy Under-Secretary of Defense for Intelligence.  Lieutenant Morgan explains their lack of response as unrealsitic.

Morgan: “They were trying to tell a better story than what was unfolding on the ground. It’s because they live in a fantasy world.”  Speaking of fantasy..

Hollywood.  The Coptic Christian who made the “Desert Warrior” movie renames it “Innocence of Bin Laden.” A screening in Los Angeles is advertised in late June. Steven Klein, an anti-Islamic activist and spokesman for the film, says fliers were to get the attention of young Taliban wannabes in California, to see who their real “hero” is. The movie portrays the prophet Mohammed as a homicidal gay child molester. It is released, but no one shows up to see it.

July 2nd: A trailer for the film, renamed “Innocence of Muslims”, is uploaded to YouTube by “Sam Bacile”. Nakoula Basseley Nakoula denies using the alias Sam Bacile; but it is him, and he violates his probation.

July 6th: Americans in Libya are even more concerned about terror attacks.

Charlene LAMB, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Diplomatic Security, sends back a response urging them not to make formal requests for an extension of the security teams set to leave in August.

According to Mr. Nordstrom who testifies before Congress: “Lamb was discouraging, to put it mildly. Why do you keep raising these issues? Why do you keep putting this forward?”

August 8th: Ambassador Stevens sends another cable: “What we have seen are not random crimes of opportunities but rather targeted and discriminate attacks.” Less than a week after the cable, Lieutenant Colonel Wood and his team leave the country.

Stevens is being pushed to increase U.S. diplomatic presence in the city, and soon.

Hicks:  “According to Chris, Secretary Clinton wanted Benghazi converted into a permanent constituent post. The timing for this decision was important, Chris needed to report before September 30th, the end of the fiscal year.”

September 6th:  John Kerry at the Democratic National Convention in  Charlotte, North Carolina: “Today, without a single American casualty, Moammar Gadhafi is gone, and the people of Libya are free!”

The same day, Morris Sadak, an Egyptian-American Coptic Christian activist, emails journalists to promote a 9/11 event with Koran-burning pastor Terry Jones, including a link to Nakoula’s YouTube trailer.

September 8th:   Cairo. Popular Islamist broadcaster airs portions of trailer. Outrage ensues.

September 9th:  As Ambassador Stevens gets ready to leave Tripoli for Benghazi, Diplomatic Security Officer in Tripoli, Alec Henderson, warns that the Feb. 17th Martyr’s Brigade can’t be trusted to protect him.

September 10th:  Benghazi. Ambassador Stevens  arrives in the city; though his movements are supposed to be secret, the local media is present.  And that is cause for grave concern on the eve of 9/11.

September 11th, 2012

6:43 am  Benghazi.  A Libyan police officer atop a building next door is caught photographing the interior of the American compound.  The idea that a Libyan cop might be casing the place, rattles Information Management Officer, Sean Smith.

12:00 noon Sean Smith messages a friend on the internet: “Assuming we don’t die tonight, we saw one of ‘our police’ that guard the compound taking pictures.”

12:11 pm Cairo.  U.S. Embassy staffers release a statement about Nakoula’s video shown on Egyptian t.v.: “We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others.”  By late afternoon the Cairo Embassy is surrounded by protestors, voicing a variety of grievances. Andrew McCarthy says the video is part of a larger demonstration brandishing of the Al-Qaeda flag, with chants of  “Obama, Obama,  there are still a billion Osamas”.

6:45 pm  The Egyptian crowd storms the embassy. America’s #2 man in Libya, Greg Hicks, reaches out to his boss, Ambassador Stevens, in Benghazi.

Hicks:  “Chris, are you aware of what’s going on in Cairo?  He said, No.  So I told him that the Embassy had been stormed and they were trying to tear down our flag. He said ‘thanks very much’.”  No sign of protest in Benghazi over the video, or anything else.

9:00 pm Ambassador Stevens and Sean Smith retire for the evening in the main residence. Four diplomatic security agents accompany them: including lead offer, Scott Wickland, and Alec Henderson.

(Congressman asks if there was any awareness of a YouTube video) Hicks: “The YouTube video was a non-event in Libya.”

9:42 pm Agent Henderson hears shots and an explosion. He sounds an alarm.

Charlene Lamb: “He also alerted the quick reaction security team stationed nearby, the Libyan’s 17th February Brigade, the Embassy in Tripoli, and the Diplomatic Security Command Center in Washington.”

The armed attackers enter the main gate without warning or resistance from the Brigade.

In Tripoli, Hicks finds out the Embassy is under attack. He calls Stevens who’s hiding with Sean Smith in the safe haven. Stevens says, “Greg, we’re under attack”.  Attackers set the residence ablaze.  The safe haven fills with thick dark smoke.  Former Navy Seals Tyrone Woods and other agents at the Annex, more than a mile away, get their weapons ready.

Hicks: “They were mobilizing a response team there to go to our facility and provide reinforcements to repel the attack.”

9:59 pm An unarmed surveillance drone hits towards the compound. Hicks calls the Operations Center at the State Department in Washington (4 pm) to report the attack.  When asked if he reported a protest in connection to a YouTube video, Hick responds: “No. The only report that our mission made through every channel, was that there was an attack upon the consulate.”

4:05 pm Washington. An internal State Department Ops alert reports that the “Benghazi special mission is under attack.”

Hillary: “I was notified of the attack after 4 pm, I spoke to the National Security Advisor, Tom Donilon. Tom was my first call. I instructed Senior Department Officials to consider every option to just break down the doors of the Libyan officials to get as much security support as we possibly could.”

State Department Counter Terrorism Official, Mark Thompson, wants to immediately dispatch the U.S. Foreign Emergency Support Team, called FEST.

Thompson:  “It is on alert to do just this mission. I notified the White House of my idea. We needed to act now, not wait.” At the annex, sources tell Fox News, the CIA Team is told to stand down twice.

An independent Accountability Review Board appointed by the State Department concluded the CIA officers were “not delayed by orders from superiors”.

10:07 pm  Benghazi. The CIA team leaves the Annex anyway, bound for the compound.  But what about help for the compound?

10:45 pm  When asked if he got help from the Pentagon, Hicks:  “I asked the Defense Attache if anything was coming. The short answer was, No. So, I said, thank you very much, and we went on with our work.”

10:54 pm Benghazi. The six-man response team from the Annex drives the attackers out of the compound. By that time, Sean Smith has been burnt dead, but nobody can find Ambassador Stevens.

5:00 pm Washington. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta attends his weekly meeting with the President.

Panetta:  “We ordered all available DOD assets to respond.” (Bret Baier interjects:  but none outside Libya will.) “The quickest response option available was a security team that was located at the Embassy in Tripoli.” (Bret Baier interjects:  but the Americans had no plane in Tripoli).

Hicks:  “We agreed that we would move forward with chartering a plane to fly a response team to Benghazi to provide additional reinforcements.”

11:10 pm  Benghazi. A U.S. drone armed only with cameras begins circling above the compound. Five minutes later, a second wave of attackers arrives. Hicks testifies that the Annex team withdrew from the facility when the second wave of attackers took it over.

Senator Graham: “Did anyone leave any base anywhere to go to the aid of the people under attack in Benghazi, Libya, before the attack ended?”

Panetta: “No. Because the attack ended before they could go on the ground.” Senator Lee points out this was an attack that lasted nearly 8 hours from start to finish.

Panetta replies: “There was this initial attack on the facility at Benghazi. Frankly we thought that was the end of what had occurred there. And we had no intelligence that a second attack would take place at the Annex two miles away.”

September 11th turns into the 12th

Bret Baier describes Benghazi becoming “a modern-day Alamo, a handful of brave Americans facing terrible odds, with no help on the way.”

5:30 pm Washington. Leon Panetta finishes meeting with the President.  He summons U.S. Africa Commander Carter Ham, Joint-Chief Chair, Martin Dempsey, and other Senior staff to discuss Benghazi. That meeting lasts over 2 hours.

Tripoli. Greg Hicks has neither hope that help is on the way, nor time to dwell on it. Hicks testifies that they’re on their own, and have to try to pull this off with the resources they have.

12:00 am  Benghazi. The Annex is under attack. Hicks: “The second phase of this is that after the teams have returned to the Annex, they suffer for about an hour and a half of probing attacks.”

After a two-hour scramble, Team Tripoli finally secures a charter plane, among those aboard, former Navy Seal, Glen Doherty.  Meanwhile, in Washington, State Department Counter-Terrorism official, Mark Thompson, wants to know why the Foreign Emergency Support Team (FEST) had not deployed as requested.

Thompson: “The reason I was given was that this was not the time for the FEST. It might be too unsafe for the FEST.”

Chaffetz: “How do you react to that?”

Thompson:  “We live by a code.  That code says you go after people when they’re in peril .. when they’re in the service of their country.”

12:07 am Libya.

6:07 pm Washington. The State Department issues an internal Ops alert, an Al-Qaeda-linked, Ansur al-Sharia, is claiming responsibility for Benghazi.

12:30 am Twitter posts are calling for attacks on the Embassy in Tripoli.  Hicks:  “And so we now have to take care of ourselves.”

1:00 am  Someone using Wickland’s cell phone redials Hicks. The caller says the Ambassador is at the Benghazi Medical Center.

Hicks: “We learn that it is a hospital which is controlled by Ansur al-Sharia.” Hicks suspects a trap.

1:15 am Libya. The American Charter plane from Tripoli arrives at the Benghazi airport, but there’s a hitch.

Hicks: “The Tripoli Team had to stay at the Benghazi airport, because they had no transport and not escort from the Libyans.” The delay would give the terrorists time to set up another lethal assault.

2:00 am Tripoli.  Hicks gets a call from Washington (8 pm). Secretary of State Clinton along with her Senior Staff on the phone, to ask what was going on.

Hillary:  “I spoke with our Charge in Tripoli, I talked with the then Libyan National Congress President to press him on greater support. We were reaching out to everyone we could find to try to get an update about Ambassador Stevens.”

8:39 pm Washington. Five hours after the attacks began. After the 2 hour meeting, Panetta officially authorizes a military response (of sorts).

Panetta:  “First, we ordered a marine fleet anti-terrorism secure team to prepare, to deploy to Benghazi. A second fast platoon was ordered to prepare, to deploy to Tripoli. A special operations force, training in Central Europe, was ordered to prepare, to deploy to (inaudible).”

Ayotte: “to prepare to deploy (3 times) is not deployment of actually going towards Benghazi.”

Chaffetz: “Why did it take almost four and half hours to start the clock to prepare to deploy? We had people who were getting killed, we had an Ambassador who was missing. We didn’t know when that attack was going to end, and the American Military did not respond.”

Bret asks about the House Republicans’ own Interim Progress report that concluded in April that “Department of Defense officials and military personnel reacted quickly to the attacks in Benghazi”. 

Bret Baier quotes from the House Joint Committee Report: “There were no planes, no helicopters, no armed drones, nothing could have saved the lives of the Americans killed in Benghazi.”

He asks if he’s reading it correctly. Chaffetz responds by saying the report is an interim report, that the discussion of what the military did and did not is not yet complete.

3:00 am Hicks receives a call from the Prime Minister of Libya.

Hicks: “I think it’s the saddest phone call I’ve ever had in my life (choking up). He told me that Ambassador Stevens had passed away. I immediately telephoned Washington.”

4:00 am   Benghazi.

10:00 pm  Washington. Clinton: “I spoke with President Obama later in the evening, to bring him up to date, to hear his perspective.”

It was the only call between the two that night.  John Bolton says the Secretary of State should have been on the phone with the President constantly saying we’ve got people at risk.

10:08 pm  Washington. Clinton issues a statement. Despite the months of security warnings in Benghazi and claims of responsibility by an Al-Qaeda affiliate, Clinton issues links the attack to the anti-Mohammed Video produced by Nakoula Basseley Nakoula.

(U.S. Department of State):  “Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet. The United States deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others.”

4:45 am Benghazi.  The seven-man Tripoli response team finally leaves the Benghazi airport bound for the CIA Annex.

Panetta:  “Within 15 minutes of arriving at the Annex facility, they came under attack by mortar and rocket propelled grenades.”

Hicks:  “The accuracy was terribly precise. The first mortar round was long. The next was short.  The next three landed on the roof.  Killed Glen and Tyrone.”

Hicks, still in Tripoli, knows he must send another plane to Benghazi.  “People in Benghazi had been fighting all night. They were tired. They were exhausted.”

He ordered a special forces team led by Lieutenant Colonel Steve H. Gibson, who he told to bring “our” people home. That’s what he (Gibson) wanted to do.

Hicks: “As Colonel Gibson and his three personnel were getting in their cars, he stopped, he called  them off and told Hicks he had not been authorized to go.”

Chaffetz (?):  “How did personnel react to being called to stand down?”

Hicks:  “I will quote Lieutenant Colonel Gibson. He said this is the first time a diplomat has more balls than somebody in the Military.”

Lieutenant Colonel Gibson later told Congress they were ordered not to stand down, but to stay IN Tripoli, due to threats against Americans there.

Gibson’s boss is Africa Commander, four-star General Carter Ham who’s at the Pentagon with Panetta and Dempsey. He declined to speak with Fox News, but met with Congressman Chaffetz about the lack of military response that night.

Chaffetz: He said they had proximity and capability but were not ordered to go.

Just yesterday, Doug Brady posted a story titled “Another day, another Obama Administration scandal.“ Today is no different.

Did the State Department keep a known (or at least heavily suspected) pedophile on the job, try to block the investigation, then “water down” the final report? State denies any undue influence on internal probes, and the ambassador is decrying the allegations “smears.” Who is he? The New York Post unearths a name with deep financial ties to President Obama and Democrats:

A DS agent was called off a case against US Ambassador to Belgium Howard Gutman over claims that he solicited prostitutes, including minors. “The ambassador’s protective detail and the embassy’s surveillance detection team . . . were well aware of the behavior.” Undersecretary of State for Management Patrick Kennedy ordered the investigation ceased, and the ambassador remains in place, according to the memo. Gutman was a big Democratic donor before taking the post, having raised $500,000 for President Obama’s 2008 campaign and helping finance his inaugural.

Why did Kennedy “order the investigation ceased”? The Post story also notes that Clinton’s Secretary of State Cheryl Mills — you remember her, too, right? — personally involved herself in a separate investigation, effectively shutting it down.

Charming behavior from Hillary’s State Department, no? They kept a man “in place,” representing our country while knowing, or at the least, “heavily” suspecting that he was a child predator. It’s disgusting.

It’s also highly ironic (and a bit disturbing) considering Ambassador Gutman’s comments about Governor Palin, back in 2008:

On the Laura Ingraham Radio show, Friday, attorney Howard Gutman — an original member of the national finance committee for Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill. — very directly criticized the parenting of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin…

Gutman said the issue wasn’t one of gender, but one of parenting -– regardless of the gender of the parent.

“This has nothing to do with gender, whether Todd Palin was the nominee or Sarah Palin was the nominee,” Gutman said. “If my daughter had just come home at 17 years old and said, ‘Mom, Dad, I’m pregnant, we have a family problem,’ I wouldn’t say, ‘You know what we’re going to do? We’re going to take this private family problem…and you know what I’m going to do? I’m going to go on the international stage and broadcast this to the world.’”

Gutman continued, “this wasn’t a working mother issue, this was a parent issue…The proper attack is not that a woman shouldn’t run for vice president with five kids, it’s that a parent, when they have a family in need, a Down’s baby who needs them — mother or father.”

“So you are judging her parenting skills,” Ingraham said. “You’re saying you don’t think she’s a good parent for doing this job.”

“I’m saying the proper criticism is not that it’s a woman or man – it doesn’t matter whether it’s Todd or Sarah,” Gutman said. “Think of how many politicians have said it’s not the right time in my family’s life for me to run.”

Fast-forward to 2013 and this arbiter of “good parenting” is most likely a pervert and a pedophile. Gutman’s suspected behavior and the State Department shutting down the investigation into it, is really just par for the course with the Obama administration. In 2008, Team Hope and Change sold itself to the American people as defenders of the Constitution and the champions of civil liberties, who possessed the moral core to “to build new bridges across the globe.”

During a piece of Obama theater during the ’08 campaign, he told Europe:

Now is the time to build new bridges across the globe as strong as the one that bound us across the Atlantic. Now is the time to join together, through constant cooperation, strong institutions, shared sacrifice, and a global commitment to progress, to meet the challenges of the 21st century. It was this spirit that led airlift planes to appear in the sky above our heads, and people to assemble where we stand today. And this is the moment when our nations – and all nations – must summon that spirit anew.

What a a bunch of bull. He was lying to them the same way he lied to Americans. It was all for show. If he cared at all about “building bridges” around the world, he wouldn’t have allowed a suspected deviant like Gutman to remain stationed at one of those “strong institutions,” and there would have been a real investigation into this man’s activities.

Bombshell Report: Clinton Ordered More Security In Benghazi, Obama Intervened, Denied Request

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ordered additional security for the U.S. mission in Benghazi ahead of the terrorist attack, but the orders were never carried out, according to “legal counsel” to Clinton who spoke to best-selling author Ed Klein.

With all of the lies from the Obama regime, and the second-by-second breaking stories, it’s hard to know exactly what to think. I know one thing, Obama and the entire regime must go, and this investigation must not stop with Obama’s stinging defeat in November. There are some serious issues and true criminal activities wrapped up in all of this.

There can be no doubt that Barack Obama is far worse than just incompetent.

It appears Barack Obama has been supplying military grade weapons to al Qaeda.

We all know about Barack Obama’s Operation Gunwalker AKA Fast and Furious and the resulting slaughter of over 300 innocent Mexican citizens, as well as the murders of border agents Brian Terry and Jamie Zapata. I’ve long contended that both Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder should spend the rest of their lives in prison for their parts in facilitating these mass murders.

The mass slaughters in Mexico by drug lords, equipped with automatic weapons supplied by the Obama regime, may be just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the evils Barack Obama has visited on other nations. [Never mind the great evils Americans have been subjected to by this devil.]

Some of the wonderful folks Obama’s Fast and Furious equipped with high powered automatic weapons. Youths like these slaughtered over 300 innocent Mexican citizens and two U.S. Border Agents.

It’s been rumored, since the attacks on Benghazi, that Obama sent Ambassador Steven to Libya to help round up guns illegally sent to arm the anti-Gadhafi Muslim savages. Savage Muslim groups that ended up with American weapons, supplied by the Obama regime, include al Qaeda, according to reports.

AMB Chris Stevens was NOT surprised by his killers in Benghazi, Libya as has been portrayed thus far. According to sources in the State Department Chris Stevens was in Benghazi, Libya at the specific instruction of the Obama White House to recover weapons that the U.S. supplied to Libya rebels in the over throw of Gaddafi. These sources who work in the State Department and the Obama White House say that Barack Obama was directly involved in negotiations with Libyan Rebels in an effort to recover weapons that the U.S. supplied them. Sources say that the arrangements were made between Barack Obama direct talks and that the White House directly arranged for AMB Stevens to travel to Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012 and it was by direction of Barack Obama that Stevens was to meet with the very individuals who tortured, raped and murdered him.

These same sources state that the YouTube video which was put out by the White House and was reported by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as being responsible for the Benghazi attack; had been taken by the Obama administration even before the September 11, 2012 murders for the specific intent to blame it in the event the Obama arranged weapons recovery went awry.

We can continue to play the word games all we want over who denied the request for additional security; or when did Obama or Clinton know that the Benghazi Consulate was “attacked,” but to do so is not going to bring about the truth. The truth is clear:

1. Barack Obama personally and directly arranged for AMB Chris Stevens to travel to Benghazi, Libya for the express purpose of meeting with individuals who Barack Obama directly negotiated with in an effort to recover US Supplied weapons.

2. AMB Chris Stevens was not ambushed because of a leak in the Libyan security as is being claimed. Chris Stevens where-a-bouts in Benghazi were determined and relayed by the Obama White House in their arranging this meeting in the first place.

3. Hillary Clinton knows that AMB Stevens was sent to Benghazi on the express direction of Barack Obama and she knew the anti-Islam YouTube video had already been picked to be used as a diversion if the weapons recovery failed.

On Monday, before we learned that Barack Obama, Leon Panetta,and as many as 400 members of the Obama regime knew about the attack on Benghazi, and did absolutely nothing for seven hours, Frank Gaffney put together this report from various sources that tends to confirm what Sinclair reports, that Ambassador Stevens was on a mission tracking weapons in what amounts to Fast and Furious Jihad Edition.

This entire fiasco, the slaughter of four Americans, and the massive lies from the White House, was all about covering up Obama’s illegal gun running to Libya. And the fact Obama supplied weapons to al Qaeda. Us older cats remember democrats wanted to hang Reagan, literally, for a hell of a lot less during the Iran-Contra episode.

Thanks to intrepid investigative reporting — notably by Bret Baier and Catherine Herridge at Fox News, Aaron Klein at WND.com and Clare Lopez at RadicalIslam.org — and information developed by congressional investigators, the mystery is beginning to unravel with regard to what happened that night and the reason for the subsequent, clumsy official cover-up now known as Benghazigate.

The evidence suggests that the Obama administration has not simply been engaging, legitimating, enriching and emboldening Islamists who have taken over or are ascendant in much of the Middle East. Starting in March 2011, when American diplomat J. Christopher Stevens was designated the liaison to the “opposition” in Libya, the Obama administration has been arming them, including jihadists like Abdelhakim Belhadj, leader of the al Qaeda franchise known as the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group.

One of the places in Libya most awash with such weapons in the most dangerous of hands is Benghazi. It now appears that Stevens was there — on a particularly risky day, with no security to speak of and despite now copiously documented concerns about his own safety and that of his subordinates — for another priority mission: sending arms recovered from the former regime’s stocks to the “opposition” in Syria. As in Libya, the insurgents are known to include al Qaeda and other Shariah-supremacist groups, including none other than Abdelhakim Belhadj.

Fox News has chronicled how the Al Entisar, a Libyan-flagged vessel carrying 400 tons of cargo, docked on Sept. 6 in the Turkish port of Iskenderun. It reportedly supplied both humanitarian assistance and arms — including deadly SA-7 man-portable surface-to-air missiles — apparently destined for Islamists, again including al Qaeda elements, in Syria.

What cries out for further investigation — and debate in the remaining days of this presidential election — is whether this shipment was part of a larger covert Obama effort to transfer weapons to our enemies that could make the Iran-Contra scandal, to say nothing of Operation Fast and Furious, pale by comparison.

Investigative journalist Aaron Klein has reported that the “consulate in Benghazi” actually was no such thing. He observes that although administration officials have done nothing to correct that oft-repeated characterization of the facility where the murderous attack on Stevens and his colleagues was launched, they call it a “mission.” What Mr. Klein describes as a “shabby, nondescript building” that lacked any “major public security presence” was, according to an unnamed Middle Eastern security official, “routinely used by Stevens and others to coordinate with the Turkish, Saudi and Qatari governments on supporting the insurgencies in the Middle East, most prominently the rebels opposing Assad’s regime in Syria.”

We know that Stevens‘ last official act was to hold such a meeting with an unidentified “Turkish diplomat.” Presumably, the conversation involved additional arms shipments to al Qaeda and its allies in Syria. It also may have involved getting more jihadi fighters there. After all, Mr. Klein reported last month that, according to sources in Egyptian security, our ambassador was playing a “central role in recruiting jihadists to fight Bashar al-Assad’s regime in Syria.”

It gets worse. Last week, Center for Security Policy senior fellow and former career CIA officer Clare Lopez observed that there were two large warehouse-type buildings associated with the so-called “consulate” whose purpose has yet to be disclosed. As their contents were raided in the course of the attack, we may never know for sure whether they housed — and were known by the local jihadis to house — arms, perhaps administered by the two former Navy SEALs killed along with Stevens.

What we do know is that the New York Times — one of the most slavishly pro-Obama publications in the country — reported in an Oct. 14 article, “Most of the arms shipped at the behest of Saudi Arabia and Qatar to supply Syrian rebel groups fighting the government of Bashar Assad are going to hard-line Islamic jihadists, and not the more secular opposition groups that the West wants to bolster.”

This is incredible. If someone told me just four short years ago that an American president was capable of such evils as Obama has committed, I would have called them crazy. We’ve had bad presidents in our history. Seemingly more bad than good, in fact, but we have never had such a purely evil man occupy the White House.

Fast and Furious was a crime against humanity. The Obama regime handed out thousands of high powered automatic weapons to Mexican drug lords, with absolutely no attempt to track these weapons. It’s been said this was all in a coordinated, and cynical, attempt to assault America’s Second Amendment, by falsely claiming American guns were ending up in Mexico, because of our gun laws.

Communist democrats have been long dreamed of taking away American’s guns but none have been so bold as to attempt an international conspiracy, nor have their attempts to usurp American’s God given rights resulted in the mass slaughter of the citizens of another sovereign nation.

As I’ve noted before, as Fast and Furious was still on going, the corrupt America media carried the water for the regime by repeating it’s lies, and Mexican President Felipe Calderón went along with the Obama regime’s diabolical plan. President Calderón was even allowed to speak before Congress and spew the same lies, which were again reported by our corrupt media as fact.

Now we have the attacks and resulting lies and cover-ups concerning Benghazi, which happened in the course of yet ANOTHER cover-up! All of this was done to cover up the fact Barack Obama has been supplying military weapons, including SAMS [surface-to-air missiles] to savage Muslim terrorists, including al Qaeda. It’s highly likely the very same surface-to-air missiles the Obama regime handed to al Qaeda terrorists were used in the Benghazi attacks.

At what point do Americans start to contemplate the fact Obama and many other members of the regime are guilty of treason? They are most definitely guilty of crimes against humanity. Fast and Furious Mexico should land many regime members, including Barack Obama and Eric Holder in prison for the rest of their natural lives. I don’t even know what additional punishment Obama and his evil crew deserve for Benghazi.

If I were Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, or any member of Congress I’d be demanding Obama’s immediate resignation pending full criminal investigations. I’d demand the resignations of any and all involved, also pending investigations.

Barack Obama doesn’t deserve to be allowed to stand for re-election at this point. He does deserve to face the full force of the law.

I wonder if the Nobel Committee has called asking for that Peace Prize back yet?
