I Hate Bipartisanship!

By Isabel Matos

QUE VIVA LUIS GUTIERREZ! (Not, of course!)

“I am for a completely free and democratic society in Cuba!”

Well, if you missed April Fool’s day this would have sounded like a joke, but he said it. He of course he lied. So this is what we get for Bipartisanship? I know just a few days ago Luis Gutierrez got shouted off stage by patriots but our GOP keeps sends him shout outs instead. Heck, Jeb Bush is going to keynote with Gutierrez later this month and the GOP’s losing strategy is OUT of the SHADOWS. It’s not the first local appearance of Ileana with Luis in Spanish (I don’t watch television all the time), but DACA proponent Ros-Lehtinen is doing dirty work we don’t want her to so it’s time to amp up the effort to expose her. Diaz-Balart has made several appearances with Gutierrez as well as Ryan in 2013.

Bless Luis’s heart (the <sarc> way) for speaking out against human rights violations in Cuba. It’s just what the country needed. One more person to hijack the cause to further the problem. It’s enough to make you vomit profusely, bleed through tears or all the pores in your body.  While pointing out Obama’s omissions in the SOTU speech (too mild of course) one is entertained by Luis’s expressions and effort to contain himself. She stands by dutifully and goes from doting, to a bit dazed, to a little frisky even, but very lucid.  And then. The Group Hug. Or should I scramble the word to just say GUH or UGH on that hug!

Ileana is a great spirit, smart and with boundless energy, but she is Jeb Bush’s water carrier, make no mistake. She has not lost her mind. This is loyalty over decades (at our expense though). Rubio will be here on the 13th but she will not support his 2016 run.  Politicians do things with disregard to the world around them. That is Ileana. She’s happy.  Loyal. Nothing will come between her and Jeb. Not Cuba. Not communism. Not this country. Not corruption. It sucks.

Remember when Rubio said one thing in English another in Spanish and it was caught? I don’t think this is the case. She has been consistent on this issue, but she does use the title of freedom for Cuban in Spanish on her channel. Maybe that is why I hate bipartisanship, nothing gets done, or one just ends up settling for just words. Symbolism is 0kay sometimes, and Luis’s comment did make a headline in this story, but all Ros got in exchange for amnesty was a bone thrown at her (and Cubans). She has made a livelihood of this. Here’s the title:

Fake Conservative From Texas Exposed!

Lawyers 1

“Opening Arguments”

Members of the Jury of Voters and Readers of this Blog:

In our last session, you were presented with a preview of Linda Vega’s actions at the Republican Convention in Texas last summer, and other publicly displayed posts on her wall and website, which included what we shall consider the opening arguments for this case: 12 reasons for exposing the so-called Republican.

“On the Stand”

Today you will see The Real Linda Vega Interview conducted on January 2nd, 2014, with an interpretation of the story she tells in her own words.  It is up to you to decide whether she intends to deceive unsuspecting voters or not based on the information provided, and/or determine if further activism is needed to expose Ms. Vega if she has indeed, beyond a reasonable doubt, registered to be a Republican so that she can push an agenda that is not Republican.

Interjected between her replies are additions, corrections and more accurate interpretations of the information she provides. Texts and images that appear in the clip, and posts made by Ms. Vega in longer threads with dialogues were are all pertinent to the case, but were trimmed because of a time constraint of 15:30 on the clip, so be sure to use the pause feature to extend reading time as needed.

“What you will have seen in The Real Linda Vega Interview”

Introduction. Linda Vega is a Texas native. She was raised by the Rio Grande Valley. She attended the University of Texas in Austin, and got a law degree from George Washington Law School. She “came back” to Texas to run for Senate in 2014.  She says she sees a lot of gridlock in Washington and not a lot of problem-solving, says the deficit is growing and laws are being passed that are infringing on our liberties and breaking into the cause of flux of prosperity in Texas.

Experience.  Linda Vega says that being an attorney by trade helps her get through the gridlock and the rush of lobbyists that will be rushing to her door because she has “extensive training in talking to people”. In 2005 she started an organization called Latinos Ready To Vote where they “go out the community to talk to people about conservative values” which is sometimes difficult as many people do not understand conservative values until they are properly explained.

In problem solving, she brags, a dialogue is set with people to reach a point where you “both agree or disagree but respectfully to solve the problem at hand”.

When asked if there are too many lawyers in Washington, she agrees there probably are, but that in order to enact or write a law, you have to understand the realm of language and the realm of how a law is passed, and in hind sight, how these laws affect the constitution.  She says that many people do not know enough about the law and need to understand these things better.

When asked about the Government Shutdown and Mitch McConnell leading the Senate, Linda replies that the shutdown hurt our economy but it was an eye opener. She does not always agree with McConnell’s p.h.i.l.o.s.o.p.h.y. (Neither do we, but we are so much more passionately as real conservatives!)

When asked if the Affordable Health Care Act, Benghazi and Fast and Furious were impeachable offenses, she explains that there is a problem with using the term impeachment because it has been overused and usurped, adding that the president has a circle of people around him saying that what he is doing cannot be proven.  If those instances can be proven, she would agree to it.  Absolutely! She refers to Benghazi as a disaster that should have never happened and would support an Independent Council investigating Benghazi and Fast and Furious. Absolutely.

Amnesty. Amnesty is the centerpiece of Linda Vega’s argument in favor of legalizing illegals and her livelihood for that matter; however, she cannot honestly say she knows what it is.  “If you look it up in the dictionary, it says something about forgiveness. What is there to forgive?!” (With an issue as consequential to our country as Immigration Reform you would think someone as knowledgeable and resourceful as one of the 100 top attorneys in Texas would be, would know what is meant by the term we know as amnesty, right?)

Linda Vega insists she does not advocate for amnesty “under any circumstance”. According to her, if we really are TRUE to the Immigration problem that we have, we have to find solutions, “not propose ridiculous laws that are not going to solve the problems but allow them to escalate in another decade into a bigger problem, which is what we have done for the last 20 years.”

Laws are Emotional. Voting is Emotional. Linda writes that Obama got into power because people truly vote with emotion.  She WARNS that “Texans will feel the backlash that these ‘macho men’ are trying to sell and there will be no one to blame but these loudmouthed Latino haters”.  You will see how she herself intimidates as she falsely accuses others of using hate as a solution. Conservatism is about caring and having manners, but she is the one who seems to be projecting her own hate unto those she is trying to dupe. Even IF she speaks softly, with style and a smile, she is aggressive.

Do away with U.S. LAWS!  Linda Vega argues that wanting the laws that we have in place enforced doesn’t work because the laws in the INA conflict with each other. They are making undocumented people felons, and allowing undocumented people to stay in this country as felons is not a good law. It’s America’s fault (!!) that these laws are creating the problem (she never using the term “illegal” immigration or immigrant in her discourse, just “undocumented”).  Again, we have to DO AWAY with the laws if we are serious about Immigration policy.  She supported the S744 bill last year which she didn’t mention in the interview but we have the letter and video of here and here when I first heard about what she was trying to get away with here.

Deportation.  Although she is vehemently against amnesty, Linda says that in order to deport the undocumented, one really has to think about the fact that mass deportations means we are growing the government, and asks how anyone can call themselves a conservative if they are for growing the government? “Being a conservative means limited government”, she states.

Solutions.  Linda Vega repeats that America needs to own up and admit that to have a good immigration policy that the laws have caused this problem. We have DO AWAY WITH THE LAWS! (repeated), shut down the quota system in two to three years, allow those who have applied and have been waiting for that visa to obtain that visa. She is for deporting those who have a violent criminal records or who are here in the United States to hurt the U.S.

“Closing Arguments”

Closing arguments and more detailed information will be provided in the next post to complete the case against the Fake Conservative from Texas. We are not hear to smear someone’s reputation, but to expose important information that can (and should) lead to activism concerning primary reform. Linda Vega is free to run for office, just not as a Republican, and that is the basis for this presentation.

If and when members of the jury of voters and constituents in Texas decide there is enough evidence that she is NOT a REAL CONSERVATIVE like she says she is, they must insist that changes be made either through better vetting (as easy as reading Facebook posts and related links) and more honesty from their representatives who know this dirty little secret is going on.

Citizens who have information must share it and become fearless activists who will challenge the wrong-doers and not allow the wrong-doers to intimidate them in doing so.  It is time to be outspoken and responsible for the sake of American citizens and legal immigrants being cheated in this process.  In that spirit, if I have to, I will expose anyone who does not cooperate with sharing the truth. That’s it. Thank you for reading.

I can't call him a Rino 1

Constructive criticism is welcome and you have the right to disagree with the contents of this article, but to solve the problem at hand you really must do so respectfully. Thank you.

Mark Levin Interviews Arizona Governor Jan Brewer, Public Support Strong

By Gary P Jackson

Governor Jan Brewer issued an executive order last Wednesday prohibiting illegal aliens, granted back door amnesty from the Obama regime, from receiving driver’s licenses or benefits.

Arizona is at war with the Obama regime, or should I say the regime has declared war on Arizona. Arizona is a state overrun with violent illegal aliens. The border there is like a war zone. The Obama regime is doing everything it can to stop Arizona from protecting it’s citizens from these dangerous criminals.

Great interview with on of America’s toughest Governors:

Video courtesy SarahNet

The Phoenix Business Journal reports the citizens of Arizona are solidly behind Governor Brewer on this latest action:

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer’s office says the vast majority of calls and e-mails it has received over a controversial order banning state driver’s license for young illegal immigrants being given immunity by President Barack Obama are positive.

Public support is running 7 to 1 in favor of the governor’s action, as measured by calls, emails, faxes and letters received by the Governor’s Office of Constituent Services since Wednesday,” said Brewer communications director Matthew Benson.

Benson said there have been 2,037 comments in favor of the Brewer order and 292 against.

The order prohibits young illegal immigrants from getting driver’s licenses or public benefits.

Brewer made the move the same week a new program started from the Obama Administration that allows illegal immigrants brought into the country at young ages by their families to apply for legal status and receive immunity from deportation.

Hispanic groups and Democrats have faulted the Brewer order. The Arizona governor’s office says public opinion, however, is with her.

Public opinion polls also showed support for Arizona’s Senate Bill 1070 immigration law.

Human Smuggling: Truck Filled with 25 Illegals Crashes in Texas, Killing 14

A pickup truck is hauled away from the scene of a fatal crash near Goliad, Texas. Authorities said the truck was overloaded with passengers when it veered off a highway and crashed into trees, killing 14 people and injuring 9. (Angeli Wright/Victoria Advocate/Associated Press)

By Gary P Jackson

Texas pickup crash claims 14 illegal immigrants. 23 people, including some children, were in the vehicle:

A pickup truck overloaded with illegal immigrants veered off a highway and crashed into trees in rural south Texas, killing 14 people and leaving nine injured, authorities said.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security agents were looking into the human smuggling aspect of the case.

A Texas Department of Public Safety accident reconstruction team meanwhile investigated the cause of the Sunday evening crash in Goliad County, about 240 kilometres northeast of the border with Mexico.

The pickup crammed with 23 immigrants from Mexico and Central America crashed less than an hour’s drive from the site of the nation’s most deadly immigrant smuggling case, where 19 immigrants died in 2003 after being placed in a sweltering trailer.

This is the most people I’ve seen in any passenger vehicle, and I’ve been an officer for 38 years,” Texas Department of Public Safety spokesman Gerald Bryant said.

The driver was among the 11 found dead at the scene, Bryant said, adding that investigators were trying to confirm his name.

Six of those who died in the crash were still inside the cab of the mangled vehicle and one more remained in the truck’s bed when emergency crews arrived at the scene, Bryant said. Others were scattered on the roadway and in a ditch between the pavement and the fence line where the truck stopped. Bryant said he saw at least two young children among the dead.

There was very little in the way of belongings or identification, he said.

The truck was registered in Houston to someone other than the driver, Bryant said. A woman who answered at the address where the truck was registered said she was the daughter of the man listed at the owner. But she said they had sold the truck and it was no longer theirs. Asked when the sale took place, she hung up.

A DPS accident reconstruction team was investigating the crash, but Bryant said it could be another week or two before its work concluded. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents were working to confirm the identities of the victims and investigate the possibility that they had been smuggled into the United States.

ICE spokesman Greg Palmore said that among the 11 men and three females who died were citizens of Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras.

Victor Corzo, the head of legal affairs at the Mexican Consulate in San Antonio, said the only Mexican citizen involved was a 22-year-old man from Tamaulipas state. The state in northern Mexico borders south Texas.

Corzo said Monday the consulate was still working to notify the man’s family.

The white 2000 Ford F-250 pickup was heading north on U.S. 59 when it drove off the right side of the highway near the unincorporated community of Berclair and struck two large trees, Bryant said. Berclair is about 150 kilometres southeast of San Antonio.

It is not uncommon for human traffickers to try to maximize profits by overloading vehicles with illegal immigrants as they head north from the Texas-Mexico border. In April, nine Mexican immigrants died near the border when the teenage driver of their van crashed after fleeing Border Patrol. There were 18 people in that minivan.

In that case, six adults face a variety of federal charges and the 15-year-old driver was charged in state court with nine counts of murder.

Bryant told The Associated Press that several of the survivors of Sunday’s crash had life-threatening injuries. He did not have their official conditions but described them as “very serious.” The injured were taken to hospitals in San Antonio, Victoria and Corpus Christi.

Human smuggling, the smuggling of illegals into America, is big business. In many cases more lucrative than smuggling drugs. It’s a nasty, evil business where men, women, and their children are herded like cattle into unsafe vehicles, packed in like sardines, and suffer horrific conditions in their quest to sneak into America.

I am continually sickened by liberal politicians, in BOTH political parties that use illegal aliens as pawns in their quest for absolute power. Calls for amnesty and preferential treatment for those who have broken American immigration law, and many times committed other crimes, such as identity theft, and fraud, only encourage more illegals to cross the border, in hopes of being part of some large scale mass amnesty.

It’s President Obama’s refusal to enforce existing laws, and his talk of amnesty that only encourages more illegal immigration.

What liberal Republicans and democrats hope to create is a two class system in America. This is something we fought a bloody revolution to get away from some 236 years ago. It’s an inhumane and repugnant situation that we find ourselves in. Illegals are allowed to roam our land, and take jobs away from Americans who desperately need them.

Worse, they take jobs for ridiculously low wages.

Unprotected by labor laws, OSHA regulations, and living in fear of capture, illegals work for employers, who have in these illegals, what amounts to paid slave labor. It’s criminal.

Illegals, even if greedy politicians get their way, will find themselves “second class citizens, doomed to a life of poverty and poor treatment. This is fair to no one. We have a long established and well thought out system of LEGAL immigration. It’s time to enforce it for everyone’s sake.

Everyone talks about the need to secure the border and enforce the many laws we already have on the books, but no one talks about the morally bankrupt liberal democrats AND Republicans whose actions only encourage more men and women [along with their children] to cross the border illegally.

This continued talk of “immigration reform” which is nothing more than code for mass amnesty, is the reason why we see tragedies like the one above. Ultimately the illegals, and the paid coyotes who smuggle them across the border, are responsible for these senseless deaths, but President Obama, and the politicians in BOTH parties who refuse to secure our borders and enforce longstanding laws against illegal immigration have the blood of these 14 souls splattered all over them.

It’s time for these evils to stop.

This is Rich: David Dewhurst, Who Consistently Thwarts Attempts to Secure Texas, Now a Border Hawk!

By Gary P Jackson

In his latest fundraising letter entitled: Let’s Shut it Down Lt Governor David Dewhurst, who has repeatedly thwarted common sense attempts to make it harder for illegals to call Texas “home” is now trying to sound like a border hawk. In the letter he decries President Obama’s “backdoor amnesty” and adds:

We can’t rely on entrenched Washington insiders to do the job. In fact, pro-amnesty groups are spending millions of dollars, attacking Texas with false ads. We don’t need D.C. telling us how to vote, and we don’t need a Senator beholden to their agenda.

Still whining about so-called “Washington Insiders.” You know, those hard core GOP Elites™ like Sarah Palin and Mark Levin. If this Senate race wasn’t so essential, so important, Dewhurst’s nonsense would be great comic relief.

Oh and he reminds readers that he served in the Air Force and the CIA. So you know, he knows EVERYTHING about national security. Hell, maybe he does. Now keeping TEXAS secure is a whole other matter altogether.

This, dear readers, is what good old fashioned industrial grade Texas bullshit looks and smells like.

Texas State Senator Dan Patrick has sparred with Lt Governor Dewhurst on numerous occasions over legislation Dewhurst has killed. For those that don’t know, in Texas, the Lt Governor is much like the Vice President of the United States. The Lt Governor is the President of the Senate. Unlike the Vice President, in Texas, this comes with actual power. I fact, in many ways the Lt Governor has more power than the Governor. One of the things the Lt Governor has power over, is the legislative process. The Lt Governor can champion or kill legislation, and that’s the problem.

Senator Patrick has specifically called out Dewhurst for killing a bill that would have effectively banned sanctuary cities for illegals [in Texas] as well as anti-groping legislation, that would have criminalized some of the more aggressive pat-downs by TSA agents. Both bills had wide support among Texans, with Governor Perry touting the anti-groping bill during the run up to his presidential campaign.

Senator Patrick told the Houston Chronicle that Dewhurst, who is in the pocket of special interests in the homebuilding and retail grocery business, who are for open borders, and rely in cheap labor to maximize their profits: [emphasis mine]

Yesterday, Patrick accused Dewhurst of undermining his anti-pat down bill on the Senate floor. Today, he took his complaints a step further and accused the Lite Gov of kowtowing to the federal government and sinking sanctuary cities legislation.

Apparently, for political reasons… he came up with this elaborate political play to kill the bill without his fingerprints,” Patrick said, speaking to the drama over the anti-airport pat downs bill that failed yesterday.

When asked about how would affect his relationship with Dewhurst, he paused for a while before answering the question.

I have to ask myself,” Patrick said, before trailing off again.

After another pause of several seconds — seemingly to consider his words — Patrick said, “We’ve had a good relationship. But someone who will undermine his members and someone who will not stand up to the federal government; you have to ask yourself is that the kind of person that we need in the US Senate.”

If you refer back to Dewhurt’s fundraising letter, you’ll note his last shameless ploy is to bring up human smuggling. [while asking for your money, of course] Now I’m all for stopping human smuggling, but guess what, the coyotes wouldn’t have anywhere to smuggle people to, if the laws Dewhurst has opposed had passed.

While people are angry that illegals are taking jobs, as well as costing Texans tens of billions of dollars for services, people forget that it’s no bargain for the illegals either. Since they can’t legally work, those that don’t steal some poor unsuspecting American’s identification, work off the books for cash. And generally at what most would consider slave wages.

So it’s kinda maddening to see Dewhurst talk about human smuggling, when his actions have actually helped facilitate it, in an indirect way.

It’s not just the ban on sanctuary cities that Dewhurst opposes. One of the best ways to stop illegals from getting jobs, their only reason for sneaking across the border, is the e-Verify system. Dewhurst opposes this as well.

Maria Martinez, Executive Director of the Immigration Reform Coalition of Texas wrote this of Dewhurst. Note that he consistently ignores the people of Texas:

I can’t tell all of you how important this Senate race is to Texas.  I’m sure that you remember how hard we worked during the last 2 legislative sessions in Austin to get a single bill passed to stop or even slow down the effects of illegal immigration.

IRCOT met with Dewhurst’s staff in 2009 urging him to get behind an E-verify bill but were politely shown the door.

In 2011, we brought him the Texas Tea Party Coalition Letter on Illegal Immigration signed by nearly 3,000 Tea Party activists and never heard a word from Dewhurst.

Dewhurst had every opportunity to do something to pass an anti-sanctuary city bill and DID NOTHING. When he could have used the rule to suspend the “blocker bill” and yet chose not to!  This was even the most watered down bill that could have been written, and still he allowed it to be killed.
Many of you may have supported another candidate but we so need to defeat Dewhurst and keep him out of Washington where he will again do nothing.

I think it’s important to get the truth out that the very person who has accused Cruz of amnesty is the very one who was part of the “team” that killed all legislation to address illegal immigration in Texas for at least the last 3 legislative sessions.

He must be defeated and I urge all of you to get the word out to your contact lists that Dewhurst is the real enemy on illegal immigration.  He must be forced to a run-off.

The Texas legislature meets every two years, so Dewhurst has a long record of defeating legislation that would help curtail illegal immigration in Texas.

You know what’s more despicable than Dewhurt’s shameless pandering on immigration, after spending years fighting with the other side? Back in April Dewhurst accused former Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert, an opponent in the primary, of pledging to make Dallas a sanctuary city during his tenure.

Even left wing PolitiFact called BS on that deal.

Dewhurst’s 11th hour conversion on immigration would be laughable if this Senate race wasn’t so essential to Texas and the nation’s future. This election is about replacing the weak, squishy Senator that is representing Texas now. Dewhurst would just be more of the same, if not far worse.

Kay Baily Hutchison is has been hit or miss for Texas, but Dewhurst is the sort that will actively undermine Conservatives in order to take care of special interest groups and cronies. It’s really despicable, the underhanded way Dewhurst operates.

Ted Cruz has consistently said he wants to secure the border and enforce the laws we have against illegal immigration. Check out Ted’s website, especially the section on Dewhurt’s many lies.

Not sure whether to call Dewhurt’s fundraising letter a flip-flop ….

…. or just more BS from a well known BS artist.

All I know for sure is Dewhurst must be defeated!

President Obama: Distractor-in-Chief

by Whitney Pitcher

Last week, President Obama issued an executive order that would prevent deportation of illegal immigrants under the age of 30. Not only is this a grasp of unconstitutional power, it is a politically motivated, not a pure policy motivated decision. In the first nearly two years of his presidency, President Obama had a Democratically controlled House and a filabuster proof Senate until early 2010. He had every opportunity to push through immigration reform, but didn’t. Now, he has chosen to circumvent Congress and legislate from the executive branch in order to pander to a voting bloc. However, it is more than just pandering; it is distraction, just has been nearly every politically motivated decision he has made. While the economy remains in the toilet, people become distracted by President Obama’s newest shiny voting bloc du jour. It has become a pattern–both for the President and those of us who vehemently oppose his policies and approach.

Class warfare has been a part of President Obama’s rhetoric throughout his political career. However, it has ramped up as the election has drawn nearer. There was his “Kansas speech” which focused on income inequality and the rich paying their “fair share”, but nothing in his speech provided economic empowerment for the middle class he purports to stand with. Instead, he aimed to breed envy by pitting the wealthy against the middle class. Just as in his proposed “Buffet rule”, there was nothing that lowered Buffet’s secretaries taxes, only ideas that would raise Buffet’s taxes, which does extremely little for denting the deficit. While President Obama attempted to divide Americans into classes–a distraction–there was still nothing that would have provided more job opportunities, empowered the middle class by allowing them to keep more of what they earn, nor reduced the deficit. It was yet another political distraction.

Earlier this year, President Obama pounced on a poorly worded comment from Rush Limbaugh to fabricate a political meme of a Republican “war on women” when Republicans advocated for religious freedom for Catholic employers. Instead of focusing on economic empowerment of women by aiming to improve the economy, he again aimed to distract by turning those who supported contraceptive mandates against those who did not.He tried (and failed) to show how his policies would support women through the character of “Julia”, who really wasn’t economically empowered, but instead was government dependent. Meanwhile, the economy still suffered, and President Obama continued to try to distract using divisive issues.

He has done this with other demographic groups as well.  Obama has flip flopped on his views on gay marriage throughout his political career, yet at a time when 1 in 6 of his big donors are gay and following a mistimed statement by VP Biden, he felt the need to “evolve” yet again.  Again, another attempt to distract from a poor economy and pander to a voting bloc. He continues to push for student loan rate reductions in order to distract from a poor economy and pander to young voters. However, the rate reduction would only reduce monthly payments by an average of  just $7 a month. Also, with a poor economy, what jobs will these graduates have the opportunity to apply for or receive? Again, distraction.

President Obama promised to cut the deficit in half during his first term has instead increased the deficit dramatically. Also, as I noted in a previous post at Breitbart:

Additionally, his $862 billion stimulus package passed in January of 2009, which his administration claimed would prevent unemployment from going over 8%, has left a record of  39 straight months of unemployment over 8% in its wake. Fifty-six percent of likely voters want Obamacare—the President’s signature piece of legislation—repealed. Solyndra? Lightsquared?
Both are now bankrupt companies with campaign donor ties to President
Obama that received either loads of taxpayer dollars or preferential
treatment from the Obama administration. Fast and Furious?
A gun walking scheme that has left a border patrol agent dead, more
than a thousand guns missing, and the Obama administration culpable.

All of those issues are just a small sampling of his administration’s failures. It isn’t any wonder that he wants to distract and pander. He has lost an advantage is those voting blocs he won in 2008. He wants to distract and divide because if the electorate is focused on our differences, then we can’t be focused on the poor economy and unethical government that affect us all.  The socially charged issues the President brings up are indeed important, but they are a solely political means to an electoral end for this President. Distraction. With any policy, the policy itself must be the ends, not the means for for political expediency. The economy is bad for both citizens and illegal immigrants, rich or middle class, Catholic and non-Catholic, male and female, recent graduate or non-recent graduate, married or single, gay or straight. Don’t buy into the the divisive distraction.

Allen West Compares Obama To King George III, “Resurrection of An Imperial Presidency”

It’s not that Sarah has anything to do with the article, we just love this photo of her and Lt Col West together!

By Gary P Jackson

Today appearing on the Laura Ingraham show, Congressman Allen West unloads on President Barack Obama for his illegal immigration power grab, comparing him to King George III.

We all know how that little episode in American history ended. This is one time I pray History repeats itself!

I think you’re seeing the resurrection of an imperial presidency and the arrogance thereof. The last time we had this was with King George III and we didn’t like it too much

~ Allen West

H/T: Weasel Zippers

Our friends at HillBuzz have a copy of Congressman West’s strongly written response to President Obama. Worth reading.
