Sarah Palin: Reports Say There Were Gross Mistakes in Benghazi, But No One Was to Blame?

Benghazi Memorial

Al Qaeda is on the run towards America, not away from America.

~ Sarah Palin

By Gary P Jackson

We’ve been lied to since day one concerning the Benghazi massacre and the cover up continues. Sarah Palin talked with Greta on Wednesday night. They also have a funny discussion about the fact Obama was again chosen as Time’s Person of the Year, as well as Christian American who is jailed in Iran.

Sarah Palin: We’ve Already Gone Over the Fiscal Cliff, Now It’s About How Hard We Hit Bottom

Wile-E-Coyote_falling

By Gary P Jackson

On Friday night Governor Sarah Palin talked with Greta about Susan Rice, the Obama regime, and the handling of affairs in Libya.

Sarah and Greta rip into the corrupt media, pointing out that media outlets who press the regime for actual answers are shut out. These outlets are given less access, or completely taken out of the loop. This has a chilling effect on things. It makes media outlets less likely to actually work to get to the truth. Sarah tells Greta “who cares” noting that Obama and his minions just lie anyhow, show who needs access to more lies!

Sarah also gets into the failed fiscal policies of the regime. She lays out the case against both Obama and the GOP in this disaster. She scolds the House “leadership” [such as it is] for not taking charge. The House holds the purse strings, and is controlled by the Republican Party.

This is what leadership sounds like America. Too bad none of it seems to exist in Washington.

Sarah Palin: Obama’s Shuck and Jive Ends With Benghazi Lies

By Sarah Palin

As I mentioned on “On the Record” last night, there is breaking news that just two hours after the September 11th attacks on our consulate in Benghazi, the White House and State Department knew that an Islamic terrorist group with ties to al Qaeda claimed credit for the attack.

We now know that the State Department sent an email to the White House, the Pentagon, the FBI and others in the intelligence community about this Islamist group claiming responsibility. And yet for days afterwards the White House and State Department led everyone to believe that the attack was the result of a spontaneous protest over an obscure YouTube video that had been uploaded months prior. Anywhere from 300 to 400 people from the administration and our intelligence community would have seen that email.

Why the lies? Why the cover up? Why the dissembling about the cause of the murder of our ambassador on the anniversary of the worst terrorist attacks on American soil? We deserve answers to this. President Obama’s shuck and jive shtick with these Benghazi lies must end.

Multiple Video of Obama Proves He Lied About Benghazi in Debate and So Did CNN’s Crowley

CNN’s Candy Crowley teamed up with Barack Obama in Tuesday night’s lie fest disguised as a presidential debate

By Gary P Jackson

If you saw Tuesday night’s presidential debate you know that Barack Obama started lying the very second he opened his mouth and never stopped. Of all of the massive lies Obama told though, was the lie that he, Obama, called the Benghazi attacks terrorism on day one. This of course, is a lie. It was 14 days before Obama admitted it was a terrorist act.

The Obama regime was fully invested in lying about the attacks and trying to blame the slaughter of brave Americans on a stupid You Tube video. Obama even went to the United Nations trying to sell that nonsense. All Obama did was justify the murdering savages, and give them yet another recruitment tool.

Here, in video courtesy of SarahNet, Sean Hannity and John Sununu talk about all of Obama’s lies, along with video flashbacks of what Obama actually said, and when:

CNN’s Candy Crowley, the debate moderator came to Obama’s rescue on many occasions during the debate, but she outright lied, like Obama when it came to the terror attacks. In fact, Crowley actually attacked Mitt Romney on Obama’s behalf. This wasn’t the only time, but the most egregious example.

In case you missed the debate, here is the entire disgusting display, in it’s entirety.

Media’s Newest Nonsensical Meme: Sarah Palin is “Alarmingly Skinny”

Sarah Palin circa 2010

By Gary P Jackson

Sarah Palin is writing a fitness book, so the dishonest media had to create a narrative to go with the news. As usual, the narrative isn’t positive. Nope, it’s designed to paint Sarah as some sort of weight obsessed loon. Now I guess dealing with Hollywood “stars” and their crazy insecurities, these hack writers figured they could project their insanity onto Sarah.

We’ve seen the media try this before, so this isn’t a big shocker that they’d try it again. They’ve attempted to paint Sarah, a corruption buster, as corrupt herself [with the help of Barack Obama’s hand-picked Alaska bloggers] and that blew up in their faces. They’ve called her a liar [“death panels” was called lie of the year by the corrupt Politifact bunch] only to have Obama regime employees come and and verify what she said is true!

The media even blood libeled Sarah [and the entire Tea Party] after Congresswoman Giffords was attacked and others murdered only to find out the gunman was actually a left winger who had been stalking Giffords for years, long before anyone knew who Sarah Palin was, or the Tea Party had been formed. The media never apologized.

There are dozens of examples that you already know.

I don’t generally comment on Sarah Palin’s looks. It simply isn’t relevant to who she is, what she’s about, and why we support her. But let’s face it, Sarah Palin is an attractive woman. Forty-eight and the mother of five, Sarah can hold her own with women half her age in the looks department.

She has natural good looks, and takes excellent care of herself. She eats well and lives in an excellent, naturally unspoiled environment.

Sarah is a lifelong athlete. From chopping wood when she was a kid, to playing championship winning basketball in high school, to long distance running, [she ran a marathon faster at 45 than Paul Ryan could in his 20s] she’s always had an athlete’s build. Still, the talking points have been sent out, and the meme is: Sarah is “alarmingly skinny,” “anorexic,” “scary skinny,” and the ever popular “on a starvation diet“!

I hate the gossip rags, but my email alerts have been overflowing with these dishonest articles. Dozens of them!

I hate linking to them, but here’s a few. Us Magazine went with the headline: Skinny Sarah Palin Wears Off-the-Shoulder Shirt in Los Angeles and ran this photo:

Skinny Sarah Palin Wears Off-the-Shoulder Shirt in Los Angeles

Sarah showed off her skinny frame in a revealing off-the-shoulder cropped top and tight, dark jeans. The busy mom carried groceries in high yellow wedges and stylish shades.

She was at K-Mart, if you’re curious. She doesn’t look skinny to me! The article goes on to remind readers that Bristol said Sarah is “way hotter” than Julianne Moore [no argument here] and panned her pathetic attempt to play her mom in the DNC hit piece disguised as a movie: Game Change

Speaking of Moore, the Internet Movie Database ranks Julianne number six in a recent article entitled: Top 10 Female celebrities who are ugly no matter what Hollywood says. Ouch!

Hollywood Life went with Sarah Palin Scary Skinny: Drops 35 Pounds, Says Expert. Yeah, they went and found an “expert” to lend credence to this bullshit!

They also published this side-by-side:

A few problems with the comparison. Obviously the business attire Sarah was wearing as she gave her Vice Presidential acceptance speech doesn’t exactly show off her figure. And let’s not forget that she had just given birth to Trig, child number five, only a few months prior.

Let’s look at Sarah in a more “revealing” outfit from last year. This is from the 2011 Iowa State Fair:

Here’s she’s getting ready to appear on The Sean Hannity Show. Sean was live at the Iowa State Fair:

Don’t know the story behind this photo, be she’s definitely showing off her figure, and if Sarah has been on some sort of “scary crash diet” she’s been on it for over a year, which if true, would have killed her by now!

Other than angles and lighting, I don’t see any difference in Sarah Palin’s absolutely stunning figure, then and now.

TMZ took a different route, showing a photo of Sarah reading the National Enquirer which had a story trashing Bristol for having corrective surgery on her jaw [and running the most unflattering photos possible] as well as buying toilet paper. Buying toilet paper is huge news these days!

The Brits got in on the action as well, running one of their overblown style of articles: ‘I’m writing a fitness book!’ Sarah Palin hits back as the row grows over her shocking new skinny figure. Yeah, that’s the headline!

Controversial Sarah Palin has been forced to hit back after being caught up in a furore over her new scarily skinny figure.

Mrs Palin, 48, debuted her new look as she strolled through California’s Studio City, dressed in an outfit that appeared to have been plundered from one of her young daughter’s wardrobes.

Dressed in tight black jeans, a crop top that looked like it had been stolen off the set of Flashdance, and high wedges, the former vice presidential hopeful looked a million miles away from the campaign trail.

But the look was greeted in less than flattering terms by many – prompting Mrs Palin to claim she is, in fact, now writing a fitness book.

How exactly is Sarah Palin “controversial” anyway? And the only reason she’s being “greeted in less than flattering terms” is because the “journalists” claim it to be so. Absolutely no one, including me, would be talking about Sarah’s looks if these clowns weren’t writing this nonsense!

People that support Sarah Palin support her because of who she is and what she stands for, not her looks, and the haters, well, they just hate. Most have no earthly idea why they hate her [just ask em] they just do.

The Mail published a lot of photo “evidence” and shots the other rags left off, including this one with Sarah doing that thing she does when she’s a tad aggravated:

And this one, where she’s smiling. This actually proves our point, not theirs though!

They also ran this one that I find rather stunning. If they are trying to make Sarah look bad here, they failed miserably, even though they ran this stupid caption: It must be all that hockey: Sarah Palin shows off her skinny arms and legs, with a significantly thinner face.

Significantly thinner face” really? If this wasn’t ridiculous enough, they also run a photo of Sarah, Todd, and Willow in the audience at Dancing With The Stars looking exactly like she always does!

In case you missed it, Sarah posted a backstage photo of her, Willow, and Bristol Monday night before Bristol and Mark’s dance:

I know our readers are wondering why I am spending so much time on this, especially since I don’t generally comment on Sarah Palin’s looks. It’s the principle of the thing. The media lies when the truth will work better, and does anything and everything to discredit Conservative leaders. They especially attack Sarah Palin. They can’t win on substance, because they always end up looking stupid[er]so they attack her children and attack her looks.

This is nothing new, a couple years back, Sarah was photographed at the Belmont Stakes wearing a revealing blouse, and the word went out that she had had certain “enhancements.” This of course, was just more BS. It’s not like she hadn’t been photographed in a swim suit years before that showed a similar figure, now is it? And who can forget this cute photo of college age Sarah:

Enough said!

The media is filled with degenerate liars, and folks with an agenda that doesn’t include reporting actual news, or advancing Liberty and Freedom. In a society filled with lazy, overweight men, women, and children you’d think we’d want to learn from someone who has managed to maintain a healthy body and great figure throughout her life. Someone who is just as athletic today as she was in high school. I guess that would be too much like right wouldn’t it!

Anyhow, these attacks on Sarah piss me off. They are stupid and idiotic. But, they do show the left has run completely out of ideas. When this is all you got, you’ve lost.

Just because I like this photo, here’s Governor Palin as Commander-in-Chief with her troops. This was taken in 2008 or 2009.

Sarah Palin: Obama Lied In 2007 Speech Voted Against Very Legislation He Claimed to Support

By Gary P Jackson

That Barack Obama is a racist and degenerate liar should come as a surprise to absolutely no one. A couple of days ago a video from 2007 surfaced that was filled with racist, and race baiting comments from then Senator Barack Obama.

In the video, seen here, Obama praises his racist, America-hating preacher of 20 years, the Reverend Jeremiah “God Damn America” Wright, and blames the government [whitey] for the Katrina disaster.

What’s so despicable about Obama’s take on New Orleans is his outrageous race baiting, and total dishonesty. Ten days before this 2007 speech, the federal government had indeed waived the Stafford Act in order to aid the city. Worse, Senator Obama is one of only 14 Senators to vote against it.

Sarah posted this on Facebook, Wednesday:

Many of you have seen the 2007 speech in which then-Senator Obama suggested that because of racism the federal government didn’t waive the Stafford Act to assist New Orleans after Katrina. What you may not know is that 10 days before Senator Obama gave this speech, the federal government did in fact waive the Stafford Act for New Orleans.

And to add insult to injury, Barack Obama was one of 14 senators who actually voted against the bill that included the provision to give supplemental emergency assistance to New Orleans. In other words, he was being dishonest and divisive, which is behavior we’ve sadly seen far too often from him in the last four years.

On Thursday Sarah talked with Greta Van Susteren about it all:

2 Trillion Barrels of American Oil: Why Wealthy Arab Oil Sheiks Are Funding Matt Damon’s Anti-Fracking Propaganda Film

While total world resources of oil shale are conservatively estimated at 2.6 trillion barrels, The United States sits on TWO TRILLION barrels of that crude. More than all of the crude that was ever produced worldwide since the petroleum age began.

By Gary P Jackson

Matt Damon and his fellow travelers have a new propaganda film about to debut. Radicals, like Damon, dead set against anything that will benefit America, are extremely opposed to hydraulic fracturing, a proven method of unlocking oil buried deep beneath the earth’s surface. Fracking, as it’s called, is the key to making America 100 percent energy independent. Unfortunately these Anti-American stooges are working overtime to stop fracking nationwide.

Lachlan Markay at The Heritage Institute writes:

A new film starring Matt Damon presents American oil and natural gas producers as money-grubbing villains purportedly poisoning rural American towns. It is therefore of particular note that it is financed in part by the royal family of the oil-rich United Arab Emirates.

The creators of Promised Land have gone to absurd lengths to vilify oil and gas companies, as Scribe’s Michael Sandoval noted Wednesday. Since recent events have demonstrated the relative environmental soundness of hydraulic fracturing – a technique for extracting oil and gas from shale formations – Promised Land’s script has been altered to make doom-saying environmentalists the tools of oil companies attempting to discredit legitimate “fracking” concerns.

While left-leaning Hollywood often targets supposed environmental evildoers, Promised Land was also produced “in association with” Image Media Abu Dhabi, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Media, according to the preview’s list of credits. A spokesperson with DDA Public Relations, which runs PR for Participant Media, the company that developed the film fund backing Promised Land, confirmed that AD Media is a financier. The company is wholly owned by the government of the UAE.

The UAE, a member of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), has a stake in the future of the American fossil fuel industry. Hydraulic fracturing has increased the United States’ domestic supply of crude oil and natural gas in areas such as the Bakken shale formation and has the potential to increase domestic production much more in the foreseeable future. That means more oil on the market, and hence lower prices for a globally traded commodity.

Fracking is boosting the country’s natural gas supply as well. While the market for American natural gas is primarily domestic, the Energy Department recently approved Cheniere Energy’s plan to export about 2.2 billion cubic feet of liquefied natural gas per day from Louisiana. The Department is considering LNG export applications from seven other companies.

A strong global market presence for American natural gas could also work to the UAE’s disadvantage. The Arab nation ranks seventh worldwide in proven natural gas reserves. For instance, Japan’s energy imports are expected to rise significantly over the next five years. The country is currently a major importer of UAE natural gas. If it decided to import more LNG from the United States to accommodate its increased energy demands, it could deal a blow to the UAE economy.

Another source of competition might come from other industries that use natural gas to manufacture other products. As American gas grows cheaper the United States becomes a more attractive destination for industries that manufacture petroleum-intensive products. The UAE, meanwhile, has invested billions attempting to shore up its own share of the plastics and chemicals markets, both of which rely on petroleum products and are likely to gravitate towards the cheapest sources of those products.

All of this suggests a direct financial interest on the UAE’s part in slowing the development of America’s natural gas industry. Pop culture can be a powerful means to sway public opinion. While Promised Land, like anti-fracking documentary Gasland, appears to inflate the dangers of hydraulic fracturing, it may have an impact on the public’s view of the practice.

More here.

Recently Phelim McAleer ripped Damon in the New York Post:

Matt Damon and John Krasinski ran into a big problem while making their film “Promised Land”; how they solved it tells us a lot about Hollywood.

Some time ago, the two actors decided to make a movie about fracking — a method of getting once-inaccessible oil and gas out of the ground that has become the bête noire of many environmentalists.

The two wrote a screenplay they said was about “American identity . . . and what defines us as a country.

It was the usual Hollywood script. We all know the . . . drill: Damon’s character works for an “evil” oil company. He comes to small-town America and sells locals a dangerous bill of goods.

Then he encounters two problems — his corporate heart is melted by an attractive local woman and Krasinki’s character, an environmentalist, reveals the oil company plan to exploit, pollute and leave.

Shocked townspeople feel betrayed. Damon is conflicted — will he go with the company and his career, or with his heart and ride back into town in his white SUV, denounce the oil company and save the day?

The filmmakers were so pleased with the script that they announced it would be promoted as a potential Oscar winner.

But then came trouble.

I broke the news that “Promised Land” was about fracking and now I can reveal that the script’s seen some very hasty rewriting because of real-world evidence that anti-fracking activists may be the true villains.

In courtroom after courtroom, it has been proved that anti-fracking activists have been guilty of fraud or misrepresentation.

There was Dimock, Pa. — the likely inspiration for “Promised Land,” which is also set in Pennsylvania. Dimock featured in countless news reports, with Hollywood celebrities even bringing water to 11 families who claimed fracking had destroyed their water and their lives.

But while “Promised Land” was in production, the story of Dimock collapsed. The state investigated and its scientists found nothing wrong. So the 11 families insisted EPA scientists investigate. They did — and much to the dismay of the environmental movement found the water was not contaminated.

There was Wolf Eagle Environmental Engineers in Texas, a group that produced a frightening video of a flaming house water pipe and claimed a gas company had polluted the water. But a judge just found that the tape was an outright fraud — Wolf Eagle connected the house gas pipe to a hose and lit the water.

Other “pollution” cases collapsed in Wyoming and Colorado. Even Josh Fox, who with his Oscar-nominated documentary “Gasland” first raised concerns about flammable water, has had to admit he withheld evidence that fracking was not responsible.

These frauds and misrepresentations created huge problems for the Damon/Krasinski script about “what defines us as a country.”

So, according to sources close to the movie, they’ve come up with a solution — suggest that anti-fracking fraudsters are really secret agents employed by the fossil-fuel industry to discredit the environmental movement.

In the revised script, Damon exposes Krasinski as a fraud — only to realize that Krasinski’s character is working deep undercover for the oil industry to smear fracking opponents.

Hollywood is worried about declining theater audiences; it’s blaming the Internet and the recession. But the real problem might be closer to home.

More here.

You might ask why an oil rich nation like the United Arab Emirates would throw money at a hack Hollywood film filled with lies about fracking. Well, the answer is pretty simple. The United States has more oil reserves than the entire Middle East combined. An estimated THREE TIMES MORE Enough oil and natural gas to make the United States 100 percent energy independent for the next 300 years.

And this DOES NOT take the 2 TRILLION barrels of shale oil in to consideration, which increase the centuries worth of oil we have in reserve.

We’ve written extensively about this. One report I like to cite is from Kiplinger’s:

The U.S. is sitting on the world’s largest, untapped oil reserves — reservoirs which energy experts know exist, but which have not yet been tapped and may not be attainable with current technology. In fact, such untapped reserves are estimated at about 2.3 trillion barrels, nearly three times more than the reserves held by Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) nations and sufficient to meet 300 years of demand — at today’s levels — for auto, truck, aircraft, heating and industrial fuel, without importing a single barrel of oil.

Think about that, 300 years worth of oil and natural gas, without importing a single drop of oil or cubic foot of natural gas! This is on top of the estimated 250 years worth of coal reserves we have. The reports says “at today’s levels.” That was in 2008. Our demand has actually dropped since then, due to both the poor economy, as well as more fuel efficient vehicles. So 300 years isn’t a hard number. Could be more, and if our economy ever restarts, could be a little less. Either way, it’s incredibly significant.

Fracking is the key to this oil and gas, as much of it is locked away in shale. The United States has almost all of the world’s shale oil. Only one Middle Eastern nation, Jordan, has shale.

When we start tossing out big numbers, numbers in the trillions, it’s hard for most of us to comprehend, myself included, so to put this into perspective, there is more oil in the United States, just waiting to be unlocked, than all of the crude oil ever produced, since the world started producing oil. A lot more.

There are an estimated 2.6 trillion barrels of shale oil world wide. The United States has 2 trillion of those barrels. The chart below shows just how much shale oil we have, compared to the rest of the world.

Now Matt Damon’s bunch isn’t the only one bought and paid for by the OPEC cartel. As I reported a few days ago, it’s likely President Barack Obama was bought and paid for by OPEC years ago. In April Obama signed an Executive Order that targeted fracking.

It’s insane. Shale oil is a blessing. It solves all of our energy problems, and has been proven safe. We hear a lot about the shale in the western states, but Texas has massive shale as well. Recently the Austin-American Statesman had a story talking about the incredible economic boom in South Texas. The Eagle Ford shale is rich in natural gas, a clean, green super fuel that is the key to the future. It’s a surprisingly fair and unbiased article and worth the read.

Shale is not only the key to energy independence, it’s the key to our economic survival. Recently the AGA released a study that says 344,000 new jobs have been created. Good paying, durable jobs. The report also says customers have realized nearly $250 billion in savings because of this shale gas. As a certain politician once said: “ A billion here, a billion there, pretty soon you are talking real money!” $250 billions in savings is certainly real money!

Back in April I wrote:

As you know, massive quantities of clean natural gas are locked away in shale deposits across the country. In March of 2011 Whitney Pitcher wrote an extensive report outlining all of the oil and natural gas deposits ready to be harvested.

While there are trillions of barrels of oil waiting to be tapped, the one number that stood out to me was the 1.67 QUADRILLION cubic feet of natural gas sitting in the Arctic. Another staggering number is found in the Green River Formation in Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah. There is said to be 1.5 trillion barrels of oil, or 6 times what is held in all of Saudi Arabia.

There is so much oil in the Bakken Shale deposits in North Dakota, private investors are looking to build a $1.8 billion pipeline from North Dakota to Oklahoma. A hefty investment and a huge jobs program at a time we need a huge jobs program.

Anti-American forces are doing everything in their power to stop the United States from being energy independent. It’s immoral and despicable. Hydraulic fracturing is just as safe as any other form of energy production. This has been proven over and over. As usual, those opposed to America’s strength and progress have to resort to massive lies to try to get people to buy what they are selling.

Matt Damon and his sort love to pretend they are all high and mighty, and just looking out for you, but the truth is, they are nothing more than paid stooges for America’s enemies. Let’s not forget that a significant amount of the money we send to the Middle East ends up funding terrorists who in turn kill Americans and our allies around the world.

Let’s also not forget, that thanks to Barack Obama, imports from Saudi Arabia are up 20 percent this year. Saudi Arabia has been a leading exporter and financier of terrorism for decades. Most of the 9/11 hijackers came from Saudi Arabia. The only reason the United States didn’t invade that country when we invaded Afghanistan and Iraq, is oil. If we didn’t need their oil, we wouldn’t tolerate the evil produced in Saudi Arabia, or any of the Middle Eastern nations.

It’s time for the American people to stand and declare they will no longer accept these lies about American oil, and will no longer tolerate a government that is actively stopping the nation from being 100 percent energy independent. We must replace every single politician that stands in the way of America’s successful future, starting with Barack Obama.

Stand up and be heard, America’s very survival depends on it!

Stacy Drake: Top 10 Lies of HBO’s “Game Change”

By Gary P Jackson

I spoke with Stacy Drake a few days ago and she told me after seeing HBO’s hit piece on Sarah Palin, she could have easily done a Top 100 lies, but was settling on the Top 10. This is essential reading.

In her incredibly researched article on Big Hollywood, Stacy starts off by saying:

Defenders of HBO’s “Game Change” have fought back against those who criticize the politically charged film as a two-hour attack on Sarah Palin. They claim that unless a person has watched it in its entirety, they cannot judge its content or the people involved with the project.

Well, I’ve seen the entire movie, so don’t mind me while I go ahead and judge this piece of high-dollar propaganda.

Game Change” is pretty easy to deconstruct. At its core, it’s a left-wing project designed to make one of their most hated political enemies toxic. They used people with an axe to grind to legitimize the story they want viewers to believe and help push their agenda. They also have no problem lying.

Honestly, it was difficult to narrow down this list because there were so many fabrications and distortions throughout the film, but here are the top ten lies produced by HBO.

Lie #10: HBO released a defensive statement to the press along with screeners of the film saying the project “is a balanced portrayal of the McCain/Palin campaign.” Having seen the movie in its entirety, I can say that that statement is beyond absurd. There was nothing “balanced” about the story they told. As someone who has studied Palin’s career for years, I can say that I didn’t even recognize the person sold as “Governor Palin,” here played by Julianne Moore.

Beyond the grotesque character assassination, there is a heavy partisan imbalance at work. “Game Change” portrays most Republicans in a bad light — everyone minus Steve Schmidt (Woody Harrelson), Nicolle Wallace (Sarah Paulson), Mark Wallace (Ron Livingston) and Chris Edwards (Larry Sullivan). One character refers to former Vice President Dick Cheney as “Darth Vader,” while the McCain/Palin rallies depict unhinged men yelling “terrorist” and “he’s a Muslim” at the mention of Obama’s name. Then, there was the the quote they placed toward the end of the movie which had Sen. John McCain (Ed Harris) warning Palin not to get “co-opted by Limbaugh and the other extremists.” None of these instances were balanced and were clearly told from a left-wing point of view.

Stacy does a fabulous job of exposing the outright lies in the movie. This is a well referenced article that proves beyond a doubt that HBO must label the movie a work of fiction.

It Seems Newt’s Little Hit Piece Movie on Romney is Filled With Misinformation, Inaccuracies

By Gary P Jackson

Readers know I’m not thrilled with the idea of Mitt Romney being our nominee, but I’m also not thrilled with the dishonest tactics being used by Big Government Statist Newt Gingrich to go after him.

There are plenty of legitimate lines of attack to use against Mitt Romney. More than you can shake a stick it, and yet, Newt Gingrich, and his boy Rick Perry, have chosen to hit Romney from the Communist/Occupy point of view.

Worse, much of the so-called “evil” things those two idiots, {Newt and Perry] and their minions, are attacking Romney over happened AFTER Mitt left Bain Capital in 1999.

We’ve pointed out that Newt has some nerve going after Mitt and Bain, when he sat on the board of Fortsmann and Little, a company that specialized in leveraged buy outs, and had a record comparable to Bain Capital. This makes Newt’s attacks against Romney even more disgusting.

Again, there are hundreds of legit issues to go after Mitt Romney with. What Newt and Perry have done is attack capitalism and the American way. And they are doing it with lies.

Our readers know I love nothing more than slicing and dicing these loser presidential candidates, but I take great pains to use facts. When you just start making it up as you go, you lose all credibility.

Newt is a petty little man who is no longer interested in being president. He’s on a personal jihad to stop Romney, and he doesn’t care if he destroys the entire Republican Party to get it done.

Fortune Magazine’s Dan Primack looks into the hit piece film Newt’s Winning Our Future PAC has started promoting:

Gingrich’s ‘Bain bomb‘ fizzles

The “Bain bomb” is full of wet fuses.

We’ve been keeping regular track of claims made about Mitt Romney’s business history over at our Mitt Meter, but today’s video “documentary” from the Gingrich-affiliated Winning Our Future PAC requires its own post. The ominous music, deep-voiced narrator and tails of worker woe were all to be expected. But I also thought that the video would get most of its basic facts correct (and then cover them in innuendo). I was wrong.

The video titled When Mitt Romney Came to Town discusses several Bain Capital companies that eventually went bankrupt or were shut down. What follows is a series of errors:

UniMac

UniMac was a Marianna, Fla.-based laundry equipment manufacturer that had been around for more than 50 years. A former worker is quoted in the video as saying: “They pulled everybody together and told us we were being sold to Raytheon, which in turn turned out to be Bain.” The worker adds that quality control was sacrificed, saying: “I just wish they’d left us alone in the early 90s… at the end they just decided to shut the doors.

The reality, however, is that Raytheon (RTN) and Bain weren’t the same thing. And Bain wasn’t involved in the early 1990s. Raytheon agreed to purchase UniMac in 1994, and later merged it into a broader commercial laundry unit that also included facilities in Wisconsin and Kentucky. Raytheon then sold that unit four years later to Bain Capital for $358 million, alongside another private equity firm.

Bain would then hold onto the company until December 2004, when it sold it to a Canadian pension system’s private equity division for $450 million. The Florida plant and some others would close under the Canadian firm’s stewardship, not under Bain’s, in October 2005. Moreover, Romney left Bain Capital in 1999, although he retained a financial interest.

The UniMac section also quotes a NY Magazine story about Romney saying that his Bain colleagues had a “high disdain” for “sloppy” American workers. It insinuates that these were Romney’s Bain Capital colleagues working on UniMac, but it actually referred to Bain & Co. consultants from decades earlier.

KB Toys

Romney and Bain bought the 80 year-old company in 2000.” Again, Romney left Bain in 1999 and had no operational role thereafter. It is true that he remained an investor, but so did dozens of university endowments, private foundations and pension systems. None of them played a part in Bain’s investment decisions or portfolio company management.

The video also plays a video of Romney speaking at Emory University in 2010, and suggests that he refers to the ultimate failure of KB Toys as “creative destruction.” This is taken completely out of context. Romney’s Emory comment was pulled from a 45-minute interview that never once mentioned KB Toys. Instead, he was discussing broader economic productivity issues.

DDI Corp.

The video discusses the DDI Corp., a printed circuit board maker that Bain first acquired (alongside several other PE firms) in 1996. It suggests that “Romney and Bain” began firing DDI employees just before taking it public, including 275 Colorado workers. Again, there is a timing problem. Those Colorado employees were let go in early 2000, after Romney left Bain. The IPO also occurred after Romney had left.

The filmmakers later acknowledge that Romney had left Bain prior to the IPO, but then use a 13D filing to “prove otherwise.Fortune has reviewed the filing, which does place Romney on the management committee of a Bain fund that controlled DDI shares. Bain has insisted, however, that Romney had no operational role at Bain after leaving — with a source telling Fortune that Romney’s departure for the Olympic Games was hasty, and that the fund management committee listing was just a legacy signatory role that involved no actual decision-making capabilities.

More importantly, DDI didn’t file for bankruptcy until two years after its IPO, and two years after Bain had already sold all of its shares. The video insinuates that Bain knew the company was in trouble when it “dumped” its shares in 2001, but gives no evidence to support its claim.

To be clear, none of this is to suggest that Romney and Bain didn’t make some very real mistakes, or that they shouldn’t be criticized for situations in which they profited from financial engineering rather than from company growth. But the Winning Our Future PAC goes beyond that, intentionally obscuring the record in a way that makes such honest discussions more difficult. And for that, Winning Our Future deserves some scorn of its own.

Look, I have a ton of issues with Mitt Romney, but at the same time, I believe in fair play. That Newt Gingrich and his political action committee has to stoop to a video filled with misinformation and out-right lies is despicable. It tells you more about Newt than it does about Mitt.

Newt is the sort of despicable weasel we are trying to run out of politics forever, and his latest little stunt is the reason why. The man has no integrity. No honor. We simply don’t need his kind wondering the halls of power. at any level.

Again, plenty of reasons, LEGITIMATE reasons not to like Mitt Romney. That Newt has to use dishonest methods, rather than the truth, shows you who he is, as a human being.

Sarah Palin Fact Checks Obama’s Kabuki Theater

Let’s face it guys, yesterday’s ObamaCare summit was nothing more than the theater of the absurd. It was designed by Obama and his minions to embarrass the Republicans, an effort that failed miserably. In fact what it did do is prove the Emperor has no clothes.

In the end, Obama basically threatened to do what the democrats have been threatening to do for some time: use “reconciliation” to circumvent the Senate rules and shove this unconstitutional mess down America’s throat with 51 votes, rather than the 60 it would normally take them to get this kind of heavily opposed legislation done. Obama is basically telling America: “You don’t like this? Tough, I won you lost, deal with it.”

What made this Kabuki Theater so absurd was the fact Harry Reid started off making it all look so innocent by saying “Reconciliation? What reconciliation? No one’s talking about reconciliation!” Democrats are really interesting little whizbang creatures aren’t they? They actually think they can lie to people’s face and get away with it. This may work on their base of voters, but that’s a really small base. For the rest of us, that dog don’t hunt.

John McCain weighed in this morning with George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America. McCain said if the democrats used reconciliation, the results would be “cataclysmic” and stressed the fact that the democrats were using Bernie Madoff type accounting.

You can see the interview here.

For her part, Sarah weighed in with a heavy critique of her own, offering up a little fact checking reality:

Fact-checking Obamacare Summit

We should be thankful for yesterday’s 7-hour health care summit – it was helpful in that it allowed Americans to hear the fundamental differences in approaches to meeting health care challenges. On one side, commonsense conservatives laid out fiscally-sound, free market-based, patient-centered solutions; and on the left’s side we heard about the Democrat’s belief that growing government is the only way to meet challenges.

As the saying goes, “Everyone is entitled to his opinion, but not his own facts.” When these “facts” concern one-sixth of our economy and something as important to our personal wellbeing as health care, we’d better make sure they are the real deal.

Please take a look at the compilation below from GOP.com correcting the top five falsehoods from yesterday’s summit. I appreciate their research and revelations compiled here.

TOP FIVE FALSEHOODS

If Democrats Would Start Listening To The American People, They’d Stop Telling Falsehoods

NO ONE’S TALKING ABOUT RECONCILIATION?

Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) Claims “No One Has Talked About Reconciliation.”No one has said — I read what the President has online — no one has talked about reconciliation but that’s what you folks have talked about ever since that came out, as if it’s something that has never been done before.” (“Transcript: White House Health Summit, Morning Session,” Kaiser Health News, 2/25/10)

But Reid Himself Is Talking About Reconciliation. “Harry Reid’s got a gift for hyperbole – and it keeps on giving. The Senate majority leader’s latest gem came in response to hints that Democrats might try to use the fast-track budget ‘reconciliation’ to bypass a Republican filibuster of President Obama’s health care plan. After advising Republicans on Tuesday to ‘stop crying over reconciliation as if it’s never been done before,’ he ticked off a list of legislative feats he contends were accomplished through the filibuster-busting process: ‘Contract [with] America was done with reconciliation. Tax cuts, done with reconciliation. Medicare, done with reconciliation.’” (Jonathan Allen, “Hyperbolic Harry,” Politico’s “Live Pulse” Blog, 2/24/10)

“For Some Bizarre Reason, During His Initial Presentation, Sen. Reid Said That ‘No One Has Talked About Reconciliation,’ … But That’s Obviously Not True. Everybody’s Talking About It. And A Lot Of Dems Would Be Pretty Upset If They Weren’t Talking About It.” (Josh Marshall, Talking Points Memo’s “Editors Blog” Blog, 2/25/10)

* “A Number Of Democratic Senators Have Signed A Letter Urging Reid To Use Reconciliation To Pass The Public Option.” (Eric Zimmermann, “Reid: ‘No One Has Talked About Reconciliation,’” The Hill’s “Briefing Room” Blog, 2/25/10)

Obama Health Reform Advisor Says The Door Is Open For Reconciliation. “Linda Douglass, the communications director of the White House Office of Health Reform, left reconciliation on the table as an option for passing a health care bill if Democrats and Republicans don’t reach consensus during Thursday’s summit. … ‘Certainly if that were not to be the case, he would be asking for a simple up or down majority vote and would certainly hope that the Republicans would not try to block that simple up or down majority vote.’” (Carol Lee & Patrick O’Connor, “Douglass Open To Reconciliation,” Politico’s “44” Blog, 2/25/10)

THE AMERICAN PEOPLE AREN’T INTERESTED IN RECONCILIATION?

Obama Claims Americans Don’t Care About Reconciliation. You know, this issue of reconciliation has been brought up. Again I think the American people aren’t always all that interested in procedures inside the Senate. I do think they want a vote on how we’re going to move this forward.” (President Obama, Health Care Summit, Washington, DC, 2/25/10)

But 52% Of Americans Don’t Want The Democrats To Use Reconciliation To Pass Their Government-Run Health Care Experiment. “In the survey, Americans by 52%-39% oppose Senate Democrats using the procedure, which allows a bill to pass with a 51-vote majority rather than the 60 votes needed to end debate.” (Susan Page, “Poll: Expectations Low On Health Summit,” USA Today, 2/25/10)

DEM PROPOSALS WILL LOWER PREMIUMS?

President Obama Claimed CBO Determined His Plan Would Lower Premiums. PRESIDENT OBAMA: “It’s not factually accurate. Here’s what the Congressional Budget Office says. The costs for families for the same type of coverage that they’re currently receiving would go down 14 percent to 20 percent.” SEN. LAMAR ALEXANDER (R-TN): “The Congressional Budget Office report says that premiums will rise in the individual market as a result of the Senate bill.” PRESIDENT OBAMA: “No, no, no, no. Let me — and this is an example of where we’ve got to get our facts straight.” ALEXANDER: “That’s my point.” OBAMA: “Well, exactly, so let me — let me respond to what you just said, Lamar, because it’s not factually accurate. Here’s what the Congressional Budget Office says. The costs for families for the same type of coverage that they’re currently receiving would go down 14 percent to 20 percent.” (President Obama, Health Care Summit, Washington, DC, 2/25/10)

But Actually, CBO Determined The Bill Would Raise Premiums For Americans Purchasing Insurance Individually.CBO and JCT estimate that the average premium per person covered (including dependents) for new nongroup policies would be about 10 percent to 13 percent higher in 2016 than the average premium for nongroup coverage in that same year under current law.” (Douglas W. Elmendorf, Letter To Sen. Evan Bayh (D-IN), 11/30/09)

INCREMENTAL PLANS ARE UNACCEPTABLE?

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA): “[I]naction And Incrementalism Are Simply Unacceptable.” (Mike Allen, “Will Dr. Obama Go For Plan B-1, Or Plan B-2? — Dems’ Post-Summit Message: POTUS Was ‘Thoughtful, Comprehensive,’ Rs ‘Insulted The Summit’ — New NYT Expose May Finish Gov. Paterson,” Politico’s “Playbook,” 2/25/10)

But 56.4 Percent Of Americans Prefer An Incremental Approach. Moreover, 56.4 percent of people indicated they would prefer Congress to tackle healthcare reform on a step-by-step basis, not take the comprehensive approach as embodied in the legislation that passed the House and Senate last year but has stalled for the past month.” (Jeffrey Young, “Poll: Most Americans Think Congress Should Start Over On Healthcare,” The Hill’s “Briefing Room” Blog, 2/16/10)

PUBLIC FUNDS WOULDN’T GO TO ABORTION?

Pelosi Said Abortion Wouldn’t Be Funded Under The Plan. “The law of the land is there is no public funding of abortion and there is no public funding of abortion in these bills and I don’t want our listeners or viewers to get the wrong impression from what you said.” (Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Health Care Summit, Washington, DC, 2/25/10)

But The Bill Allows Federally Funded Abortions.Under the new abortion provisions, states can opt out of allowing plans to cover abortion in the insurance exchanges the bill would set up. The exchanges are designed to serve individuals who lack coverage through their jobs, with most receiving federal subsidies to buy insurance. Enrollees in plans that cover abortion procedures would pay with separate checks — one for abortion, one for any other health-care services.” (Paul Kane, “To Sway Nelson, A Hard-Won Compromise On Abortion Issue,” The Washington Post, 12/20/10)

Pro-Life Rep. Bart Stupak (D-MI) Calls Obama’s Abortion Language “Unacceptable.” Unfortunately, the president’s proposal encompasses the senate language allowing public funding of abortion. The senate language is a significant departure from current law and is unacceptable.” (Ben Smith,” Stupak: “Unacceptable,” Politico’s “Live Pulse” Blog, 2/23/10)

Rep. Bart Stupak (D-MI) Says 15 To 20 House Dems Who Can’t Support Obama’s Proposal. Rep. Bart Stupak, the Michigan Democrat who led efforts to tighten abortion language in the House health care bill, said Wednesday morning there are 15 to 20 House Democrats who cannot support President Barack Obama’s effort to bridge the gap between the House and Senate health plans. … He said well over a dozen House members will likely balk, not just on abortion but on the residual tax on so-called Cadillac health plans, which he said the House had already rejected.” (“Stupak: 15-20 Dems Can’t Back Obama Health Plan,” The Wall Street Journal’s “Washington Wire” Blog, 2/24/10)

Sarah was also on the Sean Hannity show giving her thoughts about this fiasco. Video courtesy Palin TV:

For his part, Allahpundit over at Hot Air put together a compilation of highlights (lowlights?) from yesterday’s dog and pony show. Highlights: The best freak-show moments from the health-care freak show. Please click here to read.

We are winning this fight and winning it big time. Right now everyone’s job is to remain strong and continue to put pressure on the enemies of freedom and liberty. We can stop this unholy mess.
