Rogue Romney Blogger Attacks Sarah Palin Using False Information, Refuses to Answer All Calls to Retract

Jared Allebest, Romney blogger, jackass

By Gary P Jackson

First off, there’s more than one villain in this story. As you know, a very small group of Palin supporters took what was a cute idea back around the Iowa caucuses, the notion of an “earthquake” movement, and turned it into a sick, delusional obsession.

Though Sarah Palin has never endorsed any sort of movement to nominate her at the convention, and has been on TV for weeks saying she is 100% behind the Romney/Ryan ticket, these “earthquake” people persist. Lately they have been sending out delegate packets attacking Romney, and asking delegates to vote to nominate Governor Palin instead.

This was picked up by the Ron Paul folks, many of whom, as everyone knows, are looking to stage a sort of coup d’état of there own, on the convention floor. In an article entitled: Is Palin Making Her Move? Will She Be THE One to Topple the House of Cards?, over at The Daily Paul the “earthquake” nonsense was discussed. Strangely enough, the article, as well as most of the comments, were respectful to the Governor, and even supportive of her.

Problem is, a Romney blogger, Jared Allebest who goes by “Conservative Samizdat” on many blogs, as well as Twitter, used this article, and the “earthquake” lunacy as a launching point to viciously attack Sarah Palin in a series of articles titled: The Two Faces Of Sarah Palin At The 2012 National Republican Convention.

We caught his act at Right Speak, his own blog, and Mitt Romney Express. Allebest also claims to be a “staff blogger” at Mitt Romney Central though I couldn’t find his hate-filled, fact free rants posted there.

While all of these posts are pretty much the same, the one at Mitt Romney Express under a different title: Investigating Sarah Palin’s Mysterious Delegate Packages At The GOP Convention Allebst goes into a series of lies beyond what was seen at the other sites.

Sara Palin is in town and playing games, she is trying to steal the nomination, she sent out packets to all of the delegates asking them to vote for her if there is a brokered convention and she is trying to cause a brokered convention. I spoke to delegates at my booth who said they received the packet. None of our delegates will vote for her, putting my dislike for her aside, if she helps with a brokered convention I am fine with it because I think we could win a brokered convention.

Never mind this loser can’t even get Sarah’s first name correctly. She’s nowhere near Florida this week. As we reported on Saturday, the Governor will be in Arizona, having BBQ with Kirk Adams at Joe’s Farm Grill in Gilbert, Arizona.

Further more, in many interviews Sarah has said she is 100% behind the Romney/Ryan ticket. She wants to beat Obama. In the same report from Saturday, we have video of Governor Palin on Fox answering viewer questions.

One of the questions asked was what should a person do if they can’t stand Obama or Romney. The viewer asked if it was OK to just stay at home. Sarah answered the viewer by saying emphatically “give Romney a shot!” Does that sound like someone who is planning to steal the nomination from Mitt?

Allebest rambles on and on, then posts this from Sandra Bailey, one of the “ earthquake” troublemakers:

Allebest uses this misguided group to then attack Governor Palin:

What I find interesting is that there are two kinds of politicians. First, there those those who put party above themselves such as Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum who both have released their delegates to Mitt Romney. Then there are politicians who put themselves above the party such as Sarah Palin and Ron Paul who have no delegates yet have said nothing or done nothing to stop their supporters who wish to circumvent the nomination process by attempting to engineer a brokered convention to nominate someone other than candid

I have absolutely no idea who “candid” is but there are several problems here. For one, like it or not, Ron Paul does indeed have delegates. Not many, and some Ron Paul people have caused major problems by being chosen as delegates, pretending to back Romney, with full intentions of causing problems at the convention. That said, Ron Paul did earn a handful of delegates. Credit where credit is due.

As far as putting themselves above party. Seriously? In 2010 Sarah Palin almost single-handedly handed the Republican Party control of the House. She endorsed over a hundred candidates and around 90% of them won.

In fact, so many prominent Republicans owe their offices to Governor Palin, Jules Spencer tweeted this idea for convention drinking game:

I’m drunk just thinking about it!

Of course, Allebest has his priorities all out of whack. It’s COUNTRY before party. That’s a big reason why the Republican Establishment™ doesn’t care for Sarah Palin very much. She’s spent the last two decades putting what’s best for her city, state, and country ahead of what’s best for the Republican Party!

Now on the other websites, under the “two face” title, Allebest had this to say:

Sarah Palin just exposed herself as two faced politician since she’s advocating people to vote for Mitt Romney on television but apparently working to make a brokered convention happen. That’s why its not surprising that why Sarah Palin not being invited to the GOP convention or why she hasn’t been allowed to have an opportunity to speak at the convention. You can’t expect to be invited to an event if you intend to undermine that event and have not been supportive of the GOP nominee.

Allebest, in a move we’ve seen from many Romney supporters over the years, links to a far left hate site, in this case Capital Blue, for his affirmation.

Sarah Palin is trying to put a positive spin on the fact that she was not invited to speak at The Republican National Convention in Tampa later this month.

She’s trying to act like the snub was her idea.

It wasn’t and sources close to Palin tell Capitol Hill Blue that the GOP diva “went ballistic” when it became clear that the GOP’s big party didn’t want her in the show.

No sources were named, of course.

Funny how only lefties and some Romney people use the same tired old talking points. We’ve all seen Sarah Palin up to her neck in fish slime, does that sound like something a diva would do?

Well, here’s the Chairman of the Republican National Committee, Reince Preibus saying that Governor Palin was “definitely invited” to speak and offered a prime time speaking role.

Lets see, who are we to believe, a known left wing hate site, and a Romney supporter with an agenda, or the RNC Chair, who has at least some knowledge of what actually went on? Video courtesy SarahNet.

When these venomous articles were first pointed out to us on Sunday, Allebest was contacted via email: conservativesamizdat@gmail.com as well as on Twitter by myself and Stacy Drake, Editor-in-Chief of Conservatives4Palin. The websites Right Speak and Mitt Romney Express were also contacted.

Allebest as well as the publishers of the various websites were informed that these articles were fact free, and that the “earthquake” group was in no way associated with Governor Palin in any way, shape or form.

It was asked that the articles be retracted and apologies issued.

Emails, tweets, and other pleas, are, as yet, unanswered. Looking at Allebest’s own website, it seems he has plenty of time to write articles attacking Governor Palin, but no time for actual integrity.

Had Allebest done due diligence, he would have noted the disclaimer on the “earthquake” literature:

This information was sent to Allebest via Twitter.

I don’t know Allebest. Wouldn’t know him if I stood right next to him. I do know he’s supposedly an attorney in Utah, according to his bio. I also know there’s someone that uses the “ConservativeSamizdat” handle of at Hot Air. He is a notorious Palin hater who often attacks her supporters and is known to use left wing propaganda that has been debunked years ago to do it. Is this the same guy? Who knows.

What I do know is we have been very fair to Mitt Romney over the years. While our website publishes both fact and opinion, we base our opinions on facts. This website has made a point of not treating Mitt Romney as “The Great Satan” like other have been known to do. Allebest spent much of Sunday tweeting his articles around the internet. I’m calling on Romney’s supporters, and staffers alike, to put this man in his place, and to abstain from publishing these lies.

Steve Flesher at Conservatives4Palin is offering the same advice:

C4P’s official position represents that of the Governor’s. That position is illustrated in our efforts to unite against Obama to make sure he is replaced. Governor Palin recently said: “do me a favor” and “give Romney a shot.” Further, she talked to Sean Hannity a few weeks ago and stated that after a “competitive primary,” we had our winner — Mitt Romney. She was and remains 100% on board in helping to replace Barack Obama.

We, too, are on board with the Governor to not only making sure Obama is fired but that we fill the House and Senate with good conservatives. It’s been working like a charm. Governor Palin and her supporters helped make a huge impact in 2010’s mid-term elections. In 2012, her endorsements are making a huge difference as well such as Ted Cruz in Texas and Deb Fischer in Nebraska.

Despite Governor Palin’s quotes listed above on Romney or the facts that she’s continued to galvanize the Republican Party for Romney’s benefit, some out there claiming to be Romney supporters are passing around stories today ascribing false conspiracies to Governor Palin. The piece has surfaced here and here and other places.

Read more of what Steve has to say here.

At the beginning I noted there were two villains in all of this. Jared Allebest, and the bunch in this “earthquake” group. These people have been causing problems for Governor Palin, as well as her serious supporters for months.

Full disclosure: When these people started the movement, with the intention of making a statement during the Iowa Caucuses, this website, as well as me personally, was supportive. Unfortunately, things got out of hand, and these people refused to listen to anyone, including Governor Palin herself.

Many of us asked, then told, then demanded these people stop with the “earthquake” nonsense. They didn’t seem to care how much trouble they were causing. In fact, if you didn’t buy into their fantasies, you would find yourself on the receiving end of one of their attacks. I’ve never seen anything like it. They became as delusional as some of the way out there Ron Paul supporters.

Long story short, It’s been our policy to delete any comments by the group, and any attacks on Mitt Romney’s Mormon religion, or anything else not related to disagreements on political positions.

Stacy, in her role as Editor-in-Chief of C4P, went a step further, banning the “earthquakers” and instituting a zero tolerance policy for conspiracy theories:

To believe that Governor Palin has some sort of secret plan to steal the nomination from Mitt Romney, based on things she said in the past (much before October 5th) is out-of-touch with current day reality.

There is no mathematical way that Governor Palin could get the nomination this year. She has no delegates. Mitt Romney has enough delegates to take it. He currently has 1,473, while only needing 1,144 to win. People looking to Ron Paul delegates for assistance to knock Mitt out of the race, need to consider that Ron Paul’s has conceded and has asked his supporters to be “respectful” in Tampa.

[…]

Some however, are ignoring this reality, spinning Governor Palin’s words, and currently building a case against Governor Palin’s character on our forum. That is not going to be tolerated on C4P any longer. To insinuate that Governor Palin will lose her credibility if she doesn’t do what people (who cherry-pick her words) want her to do, is indeed building a case for the future. And the future clearly tells us that what these people want to happen, isn’t going to happen, so this only has one way to go.

[…]

No longer will you be permitted to post “Earthquake” conspiracy theories on C4P…Zero tolerance for this, by the way. Enough is enough.

This entire episode, a wasted Sunday spent handling these attacks by a Palin hating Romney supporter, that will live on the internet forever, could have been avoided had these “earthquake” crazies listened to Stacy months ago. However, I’ve come to learn reality isn’t something these people traffic in.

I’ve been following Governor Palin’s career closely since early 2007. I can honestly say I have never seen a politician that has such a large group of dedicated, loyal supporters. People who would follow her through the fires of hell with a bucket full of gasoline in each hand!

That’s not a bad thing either!

Over the years we’ve seen groups like Organize4Palin, now American Grizzlies United, spring up. These groups have taken to endorsing candidates, and even traveling hundreds, and sometimes thousands of miles, in order to support them. It’s those hard working supporters of Sarah’s who made the incredible victories of 2010 a reality, and it’s her hard working supporters who are making the difference in 2012.

It’s like nothing I’ve ever experienced. Most strong supporters of a particular candidate live for that candidate only. In fact, in the case of some of the more zealous supporters of the other guys [you know who I mean] they will attack anyone and everyone who isn’t their chosen candidate.

Palin supporters are quite different. They take cues from Sarah, and her endorsement of a candidate is like the Good Housekeeping© Seal of Approval. Once Sarah endorses, things happen, and happen fast. But it goes further than that. Palin supporters also support candidates on their own, often recommending SarahPAC take a look at them. Whether Sarah endorses them or not, they help get these candidates elected.

That’s what makes this entire “earthquake” experience so troubling. Some people hang of Sarah Palin’s every word, and instead of taking comments she makes about a variety of subjects, at face value, find some hidden meaning in her words. They twist them into what the WANT them to mean, instead of what Sarah really said, or meant.

Let me end this by saying I’m disgusted with the whole lot. I’m angry that this self proclaimed Romney blogger decided to viciously attack Sarah Palin, and has refused to answer numerous calls to retract his lies, and I am thoroughly pissed off the ammunition for this attack came from these “earthquake” troublemakers.

I let it be known to these people that I was far less than pleased with there group. Besides the same tired old crap I’ve heard from them for months, after making my displeasure known, I also got a fair amount of “well, they are going to attack Sarah anyway” type of comments. In THOSE comments we learn all we need to know about the “earthquakers” and their agenda.

They are NOT looking out for Sarah Palin, and do not have her best interests in mind.

****UPDATE****

I thought it should be noted that Nate Gunderson from Mitt Romney Central responded to the article at C4P:

1 – MRC has no more closer ties to Romney’s campaign than C4P has to Palin.

2 – Though listed as a contributor, Jared has not written anything for us since January.

3 – I would not have allowed the posts about Palin at MRC because I knew immediately that they weren’t true.

4 – I would not have allowed the posts about Palin at MRC because we just don’t blog about her.

Just wanted to be clear on those points.

Many of us Palinistas have done battle with Nate on Twitter over the last few years. It’s good to see him being pro-active in regards to Allebest. Classy on his part.

The bottom line is we are all in this together in our efforts to defeat Barack Obama. Anything else is counterproductive and of no help at all.

Does that mean we can’t disagree with Mitt Romney or the Republican Party, of course not. But it doers mean people have to realize there are only two realistic courses of action. Elect Mitt Romney, and put a halt to America’s demise or re-elect Barack Obama, and insure her demise.

If you even have to think about which way to go, you have serious issues.

Insane: Ron Paul Supporters Threaten Bronze Star Iraq War Vet, Family With Murder, Rape

Jere Brower, who served four tours in Iraq and was twice awarded the bronze star, with his wife Clara and daughter Ana at a 2010 birthday party. The Browers have been targeted with death threats from angry Ron Paul supporters.

By Gary P Jackson

More proof many of those who support Herr Doktor Ron Paul are mentally unstable, and dangerous.

Pat Dollard reports:

Jere Brower, his wife Clara, and his 4-year-old daughter Ana, have a very good reason to believe Texas Congressman Ron Paul when he said people view his supporters as “dangerous.”

The 38-year-old Atlanta man and his family have been targeted by militant Ron Paul supporters, one of whom threatened to “kneecap” him, then rape his wife and young daughter. Mr. Brower said he has also received death threats from supporters of Ron Paul.

The trouble started when Brower and some of his Facebook friends decided to have a laugh over Ron Paul’s ties to racist and anti-semitic groups.

Read more here.

This is totally unacceptable. We’ll have more on this sort of behavior from Ronulans coming soon.

Stalker Who Threatened To Rape and Murder Sarah Palin, Her Daughter, and a Friend, Is A Bachmann Supporter

shawnchrisrtiefreakImage1

Shawn R. Christy, right, looks over court documents with his mother, Karen, center, and father, Craig, at the family’s home in McAdoo. [Republican Herald]

By Gary P Jackson

We’ve talked about Shawn Christy before. This guy is certifiable, and as we reported, so is his family. Christy lives in a fantasy world where he believes he and Governor Palin had some sort of “intimate relationship” and his crazy family goes along with this. I’ve even had Christy’s father, Craig, send me insane messages about Secret Service cover-ups after I wrote about this nonsense.

Christy has threatened to kill Sarah, rape and kill her daughter, as well as Sarah’s good friend, Kristan Cole. He’s sent both Sarah and Kristan violent threats, and was even harassing Kristan’s kids on Facebook. Again, Christy’s mother and father were in on this, and sent messages of their own.

All three of these people belong in a facility for the criminally insane.

Kelsey at Barbaric Thoughts has the latest on these loons.

Recordings of telephone calls made to Sarah Palin’s attorney by a 19-year-old Pennsylvania man accused of stalking the former Alaska governor are peppered with profanity-laced tirades and vows to continue calling nonstop.

In one recording, Shawn Christy of McAdoo, Pa., tells Palin’s lawyer: “You want to play games, you wanna play little court games, well play games, now come on .. Come on! Let’s play games as far as you want it to go on!”

The recordings have been submitted with a motion by attorney John Tiemessen asking a state magistrate in Alaska to deny a request to dissolve a restraining order against Christy.

The motion says Christy’s father, Craig Christy, also has made multiple calls to his office. One of the calls is included in the filing.

There is really not sufficient punctuation on a standard keyboard to express the seething, spitting, splenic, paranoid, bat-guano crazy rage that is encapsulated on the audio,” Tiemessen wrote in the document filed late Tuesday. “None of these calls advance resolution of this matter. They only reinforce that the Christies are a disturbed, obsessed and delusional set of individuals who can not be trusted to behave in a minimally socially acceptable manner on the telephone.”

[ …. ]

Shawn Christy disputes involvement in a letter threatening Palin’s teenage daughter Willow that was submitted as evidence against him earlier this year.

The letter, consisting of cut-and-paste words, says that if Palin didn’t announce by the non-existent date of April 31 that she would not run for office, “you will be cleaning Willows brain cells off your clothes.” It is signed “Hollow Point” and mailed from southeastern Pennsylvania, which the Christys say is nowhere near McAdoo. They also say the handwriting on the envelope is nothing like Shawn Christy’s, who submitted copies of the letter and envelope, along with a letter he wrote to Palin in the past to compare hand writing.

I demand evidence be submitted to the United States Secret Service for further investigation, to prove my innocence, and I demand a retrial,” Shawn Christy wrote in his request.

His mother, Karen Christy, told The Associated Press that the phone calls to Tiemessen reflect the deep frustration the family feels over the letter her son is accused of sending and their inability to find who has the original. In one of the recordings, Tiemessen said he sent the original to the Anchorage office of the FBI, but declined to identify what agent had it, saying he didn’t know. The FBI won’t confirm possession of the letter, Karen Christy said. She believes the letter weighed heavily in extension of the restraining order against her son.

No one has yet to prove that Shawn wrote that letter and no one has been able to produce the original letter,” she said. “Until something is proven that Shawn did it, I don’t see how they can hold that against him.

Craig Christy just mailed a request to get the restraining order against him resolved as well, according to Karen Christy.

Tiemessen told the AP in an email that after the court’s May decision, “Karen Christy promised that her family would not contact us anymore.” That promise was short-lived, Tiemessen said.

The Christys claim that they just want to be left alone,” he said. “They have the power to make that happen. The fact that they continue on this self-destructive path suggests an unfortunate and potentially dangerous alternative desire.”

These people are definitely “disturbed” and most certainly dangerous.

Kelsey has much more, including some screen captures of Facebook postings from both Shawn and Craig. In her investigation, she also discovered that Shawn is a supporter of Michele Bachmann. My advice to Bachmann is: Get plenty of security.

Read it all here.

Family Affair: Deranged Palin Stalker Admits Rape Threats, Parents In On The Plan

shawnchrisrtiefreakImage1

Shawn R. Christy, right, looks over court documents Wednesday with his mother, Karen, center, and father, Craig, at the family’s home in McAdoo. [Republican Herald]

By Gary P Jackson

We’ve been rather quiet on this, as it’s our opinion that giving these insane losers publicity just gives them what they want, and it encourages more loons to step up. However, this ongoing issue with Shawn Christy and his entire family, warrant some coverage.

Full disclosure, though never published, this deranged loon’s father, Craig has even left insane comments on this very blog. We never published, but do have them archived as further evidence of these people’s depravity.

The kid, Shawn Christy has threatened to rape and kill not only Sarah Palin, and her daughters, but also family friend Kristan Cole. They have harassed Sarah’s parents Chuck and sally, as well. And by “they” I mean the entire Christy family. That’s right, this is a family activity.

From the Anchorage Daily News:

A restraining order against a 19-year-old Pennsylvania man accused of stalking Sarah Palin has been extended for six months, following testimony from the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee that she feared for the safety of herself, her family and friends.

Palin testified by phone that she believed Shawn Christy of McAdoo was sending out a clear signal when he made a one-day visit to Alaska on her birthday in February. She also said she feared Christy’s parents because of their contentions that she had a sexting relationship with the teen in 2009.

I believe when he traveled to Alaska on my birthday, he did that so he could prove that he had the means to do so,” she said. “I believe that his and his parents’ repeated contact with those close to me to get me to respond to their false and very, very bizarre allegations constitutes a – obviously, a problem – on their end.

At Monday’s hearing, however, a court magistrate denied requests for protective orders against Shawn Christy filed by Palin’s father, Chuck Heath, and her friend, Kristan Cole, saying the two failed to take part in Monday’s hearing. Palin’s attorney, John Tiemessen, said Heath might be on a bear hunt in Southeast Alaska and Cole was traveling by plane.

Magistrate Jonathon Lack denied a protective-order request by Cole against Christy’s father, Craig, for the same reason. Lack denied Cole’s request for a protective order against Shawn Christy’s mother, Karen Christy, last month. But he told the Christy family Monday that any further contact with Heath or Cole could lead to a restraining order.

Lack also issued a restraining order for Palin against Craig Christy, which includes protection for Palin’s parents and Cole. Palin’s protective order against Shawn Christy protects her parents and Cole as well.

Craig Christy was accused of leaving multiple harassing telephone messages for Palin’s parents and contacting Cole’s children on Facebook.

Palin and Cole obtained original restraining orders against Shawn Christy last year, saying he threatened them, sent a receipt for a gun purchase and said he was buying a one-way ticket to Alaska.

The Christys, who do not have an attorney, also participated in Monday’s hearing by phone.

Lack gave each of them an opportunity to question Palin. Shawn Christy asked Palin if she was aware of threats to her and emails he made to her when she was governor, to which Palin replied that was the job of the governor’s security detail. Christy has said the threats were “stupid pranks” to get attention. He said his life is difficult because he deals with complications from Lyme disease.

Christy also has acknowledged sending threatening messages in 2009 to President Barack Obama, and to Republican Sen. John McCain, who chose Palin as his running mate in the presidential race the previous year. Christy was apprehended by authorities in Washington, D.C., two years ago. At the request of the Secret Service, he underwent a psychiatric evaluation, which concluded Christy had a sense of grandiosity that “could turn somewhat paranoid,” according to court papers.

Christy said someone purporting to be a 15-year-old girl started texting him after he began sending these messages. He said he thought the texter was either law enforcement or Palin. His parents believe it was Palin, which set off the numerous phone calls to Palin’s parents, according to court documents.

Karen Christy said in court Monday that all the family ever wanted was for Palin to talk to them about their beliefs about the texting. If it wasn’t her, she could tell them, Karen Christy said, then asked Palin why she never responded.

I will not reward that kind of behavior and encourage that kind of behavior,” Palin said. “That kind of behavior is dangerous.

When Lack issued his decisions, both Shawn and Craig Christy attempted to perform a citizen’s arrest of the magistrate. Craig Christy said Lack should be excused from the proceedings since he was appointed by then presiding Judge Morgan Christen, whom Palin later appointed to the state Supreme Court.

Unfazed, Lack invited the Christys to file a complaint with the presiding judge.

After the hearing, Tiemessen said the Christys have made it clear that “absent an order like this,” they would not stop contacting the Palins or those close to them.

As they’re repeatedly said, ‘Why haven’t you told us to stop?’ Well, today, I think in pretty clear language, the court told them to stop,” Tiemessen said.

These people are clearly insane, and very dangerous. This kid also threatened the President as well as John McCain, then calls it a “prank” and blames it on the side effects of Lyme disease? Really?

How about we put the blame where it belongs: The kid and his parents who are obviously just as mentally defective as the kid.

For some back story, here’s what the family’s local paper had to say in 2010 after Sarah filed an emergency restraining order:

Former Alaskan governor and 2008 vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin was granted a restraining order against an 18-year-old McAdoo man Monday after allegedly receiving threats from him since summer 2009.

A court document filed on behalf of Palin in district court in Anchorage, Alaska, states that Shawn R. Christy had been threatening and stalking her through phone and e-mail communications.

According to the court transcript, Palin testified by telephone that she feared for her life and for her family’s safety.

Bottom line is, he is crazy and could kill me,” Palin said in the transcript. “He wants me dead.

In an interview Wednesday night at his McAdoo home, Christy said he tried to contact former presidential candidate U.S. Sen. John McCain and Palin, McCain’s running mate, because he believed the U.S. Secret Service had tampered with his cell phone.

Christy said he began making threats to get their attention and have his phone fixed.

It wasn’t the brightest idea,” Christy said Wednesday.

The document alleges Christy tried to get in touch with Palin numerous times, made references to having guns and said he would be coming to Alaska and she should “watch her back.” Christy also claimed to have a sexual relationship with Palin and threatened to sexually assault her, the document states.

At the court hearing Monday, Palin also testified that Christy believes he has a relationship with her daughter, Willow, and has brought up the girl’s name.

The Secret Service investigated and found that Christy did make threats to Palin, the document states.

A similar restraining order was granted to a friend of Palin, Kristen Cole, 48, of Alaska, effective Monday. Both orders state Palin and Cole believe Christy to be delusional.

According to the court document, Cole stated that even after asking Christy to stop contacting her in 2009, he continued to do so, sometimes every few weeks and sometimes daily in an attempt to be put in touch with Palin. The document also states that Christy tried to arrange meetings with Cole and Palin, threatened Cole and once told her he, “tried to follow the Bible but had evil and wickedness in him.

Cole’s protective order claims Christy told her that she knew the truth about his relationship with Palin, and Cole needed to contact the Federal Bureau of Investigation or would be “punished.”

The orders are active for 20 days or until the issue is resolved by the court. Both orders prohibit Christy from contacting, stalking or threatening Palin and Cole and their families.

According to Palin’s hometown newspaper, the Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman in Wasilla, Alaska, Cole said she was worried about Christy’s correspondence for months, but when he called from a number with an Alaskan area code to say his plane landed in Alaska, she made the move to have the court intervene.

Palin attorney’s, Thomas Van Flein, said Christy had “risen to the top of the dozens and dozens of people” who have threatened Palin since 2008, when she emerged on the national stage.

He stands out as the most persistent,” trying to reach her through friends, associates and family members, he said.

Family reaction

Christy and his family, however, say things aren’t as they seem.

Craig Christy, Shawn’s father, said the matter began when Shawn left home without telling him or his wife, Karen, boarded a Greyhound bus and headed to Washington, D.C., in November 2008.

Shawn ran out of money and had no where to go but said he felt safe around the White House and decided to hang out there, his father said. Eventually, Shawn drew the attention of the Secret Service and was questioned by agents, but he not arrested.

In December 2008, Shawn said his cell phone started malfunctioning – clicking and making strange noises. Also, when he used a public computer at a library in Tamaqua, the computer started malfunctioning. Shawn said he began to call the Secret Service to see if the agency had somehow altered his phone and the computer.

After getting no response, Shawn said he tried to reach McCain and Palin and left repeated messages. Still with no response, he began to send threats, thinking that would get him the attention he needed to get his phone fixed. He also called the White House for action but said those he spoke with laughing at him and antagonized him.

Shawn claims he turned himself into authorities in Washington for the threatening messages but was never charged. His parents soon became involved when Secret Service agents visited the family at their home and interviewed Shawn on June 18. He still wasn’t charged with a crime but was ordered to undergo a psychological review, according to his father, although Shawn was found to have no problems.

Shawn said he admitted making threats to McCain, Palin and President Barack Obama. He also admitted to trying to contact Palin through Cole, Palin’s family, her attorney and the Alaska governor’s office. He said he found the numbers by looking them up in online phone directories.

Shawn also said he called Palin’s office in 2008 because he was a supporter and wanted to know more about her views. Shawn said he intended to apologize to Palin in person at an event in Pennsylvania and at one of her book-signings in New York, but he didn’t confront Palin or her family.

When explaining how he contacted Cole from a phone with an Alaskan area code, Shawn said he purchased a pay-by-the-minute phone for which he could select the number and area code. He figured someone in Alaska would pick up a phone call from a number with a local area code. He said he called Palin’s mother from the same number in an effort to reach Palin.

Shawn said Wasilla police called him and read the protective orders over the phone to him, and his father said the family received hard copies of the documents, which McAdoo police delivered to Shawn on Tuesday. McAdoo police declined comment Wednesday.

Craig said Shawn was never in Alaska. Shawn said that although he purchased a one-way ticket in the spring, but never went on the trip because he couldn’t afford a return ticket. He said he bought the ticket because he wanted to talk to Palin and the FBI in person.

Shawn said he sent Palin receipts for a gun but that it wasn’t intended as a threat. Rather, he said he sent a receipt from when he sold a gun to a gun shop in Tamaqua in April, letting Palin know that he wasn’t going to shoot her. Shawn said he didn’t contact Palin, Cole or anyone else after July 3. According to court documents, however, Shawn did contact Cole again.

Shawn said the religious reference mentioned in the court orders was misconstrued. He said that when he referred to being evil, he meant that all humans are considered sinners by God. He said he was raised Christian and wouldn’t hurt anyone.

Craig contends Shawn is not delusional, as Palin and Cole claim. Karen Christy is now concerned for her family’s safety and claims they’ve been the targets of threats.

I wish, honestly, I could go back and it didn’t happen,” Shawn said.

Palin and Cole have requested a long-term protective order. A hearing on that request is scheduled for 10 a.m. Oct. 13 before Anchorage Master John E. Duggan, according to the Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman newspaper.

Craig said the family, all of whom receive treatment related to Lyme disease, can’t afford to hire an attorney or fly to Alaska for the hearing, so Shawn will have to participate by phone.

The 20-day protective order prohibits Christy from following, approaching, confronting, watching or otherwise staking or threatening to stalk or assault Palin.

If Christy violates the order, he can be arrested without a warrant.

Clearly deranged. This loon thinks he has a relationship with Sarah’s daughter and the Secret Service messed up his phone. Oh, and here he claimed in September 2010: “I wish, honestly, I could go back and it didn’t happen,” and yet, he has never stopped, nor have his dirt bag parents.

These are the kind of people who must be taken seriously. He’s another Jarred Lee Laughner in the making. What is it with liberalism that brings out the worst in people?

We love Jim Hoft’s take: “SICK LEFTIST FREAKS! The whole crazy family was threatening Sarah Palin, her parents and her daughters!

Once again, liberalism leads to mental instability.

The Face Of Democrat Insanity

You know, the definition of insanity is doing the same stupid thing over and over, and expecting different results. With that in mind, some Alaska democrats have earned a lifetime stay in a padded cell.

Folks even remotely knowledgeable about Governor Sarah Palin know all about the epic failures Alaskan democrat bloggers and their operatives have experienced in their attempts to smear the Governor. Currently they are batting 16-0 with their ridiculous “ethics complaints.” 17-0 if you count the failed “troopergate” attempt. Details are here, here, and here.

So what does Alaska’s official DNC blogger, Linda Kellen Biegel, have up her sleeve now? Well, she’s cooking up another ethics complaint, of course!

You might remember all of the commotion this hateful gal caused when she posted a photoshopped image of Governor Palin and her youngest child. It led everyone to ask why is it OK for democrats to attack small children, especially when they are the children of conservatives.

You’d have thought she’d learned her lesson from the fallout David Letterman experienced after his series of insults aimed at the Governor’s 14 year old daughter. But again, we are talking about the clinically insane here.

Biegel, who blogs as the Celtic Diva eventually took the photo down, and now has pages worth of explaining posted. That’s something else democrats are really good at. They will insult you in the most vile ways, and then “apologize” or “explain” things to you. But mostly they’ll just tell you that you aren’t smart enough to understand the nuance of discussing the rape of a 14 year old girl or how photoshopping a picture of a down syndrome child is some sort of high art form.

And of course, all of them band together to express their outrage when called on their hatefulness. Democrats are the do as I say, not as I do party.

As you know, Biegel, who is rapidly becoming a laughing stock in the sane world, used the image of Governor Palin and young Trig Palin as part of a fund raising effort she has ongoing. She is raising funds to file more insane ethics violations complaints, of course, and says so on her blog. Now, she refuses to disclose donors names, and claims this is not a “political fund” so she doesn’t have to follow the law on this sort of thing. Or file the proper paperwork.

Ironic, because she wants to use this money in an effort to “gain more transparency” from Governor Palin.

No really, I’m not making this stuff up!

So what is Alaska’s self appointed “ethics chief” caterwauling about now?

Well, people who keep up with the Governor will tell you that she made a trip this weekend to visit Alaska National Guard troops during a training exercise off the coast, and then spent time at Camp Bondsteel Ferizaj, Kosovo and then visited wounded troops at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany.

This is Governor Palin’s second trip abroad to visit her Guard troops. In 2007, not long after she was elected, she traveled to Kuwait and then Germany.

Funny thing, that wasn’t an ethics violation back then. But of course, she wasn’t the odds on favorite to unseat Barack Obama in 2012 either.

At any rate, as Commander-In-Chief of the Alaska National Guard, Sarah Palin was well within the scope of her duties on this trip. And as Maj General Craig Campbell, who accompanied the Governor on the trip pointed out in this interview, Governor Palin takes these duties quite serious.

The issue?

It seems our poor misguided Diva now fancies herself a constitutional scholar. Of course so do these two!

Was able to pull this off of her website:

NEW VIOLATION BY PALIN!!!

Found this on palingates (emphasis mine):

BlackMountain wrote on 06/27/2009 03:27:42 PM:

Something for the Palinbots to think about- Palin violated the US Supreme Court Greer vs. Spock decision which banned partisan political speeches or rallies on military bases. Palin also caused every soldier to violate a military directive that bars service members from attending partisan political speeches either in uniform, on duty, or at any military base/facility.

Isn’t it just a doozie that Palin would violate a US Supreme Court Decision – and top it off with having our soldiers violate military directives!”

Now I won’t even pretend to be a constitutional scholar, even though it seems that pretty much anyone can get away with saying so! But I will claim that I have a reading comprehension at or above the third grade level.

I took a look at Greer v Spock. This is a case from the 1970’s.

Without quoting chapter and verse, here is a synopsis of the case:

“Fort Dix, a federal military reservation devoted primarily to basic training for newly inducted Army personnel, and over which the Government exercises exclusive jurisdiction, permits free civilian access to certain unrestricted areas. However, post regulations ban speeches and demonstrations of a partisan political nature and also prohibit the distribution of literature without prior approval of post headquarters. Pursuant to these regulations, the commanding officer of Fort Dix rejected the request of respondent candidates for President and Vice President to distribute campaign literature and hold a political meeting on the post and the other respondents, who had been evicted on several occasions for distributing literature not previously approved, were barred from reentering the post. Respondents brought suit to enjoin enforcement of these regulations on the ground that they violated the First and Fifth Amendments. The District Court issued an injunction prohibiting the military authorities from interfering with the making of political speeches or the distribution of leaflets in areas of Fort Dix open to the general public, and the Court of Appeals affirmed. “

So basically this case was about the distribution of partisan election materials without prior approval. The case was upheld. It states that a military commander MAY restrict political speech as well as printed material. MAY is the key word here. Maybe it’s too many years pouring over the old NHRA rule book, but one tends to learn what words like “may” and “shall” and “must” mean.

The ruling goes on to leave us with this gem:

“As to the regulation governing the distribution of literature, a military commander may disapprove only those publications that he perceives clearly endanger the loyalty, discipline, or morale of troops on the base under his command, and, while this regulation might in the future be applied irrationally, invidiously, or arbitrarily, none of the respondents even submitted any material for review, and the noncandidate respondents had been excluded from the post because they had previously distributed literature there without attempting to obtain approval.”

Now you can watch Governor Palin’s speech to the troops, but unless you are a complete loon, or a member of the Obama Administration, a Governor thanking her troops for their hard work and sacrifice is hardly “dangerous” to the troops loyalty, discipline or moral! In fact, from the loud cheers she elicited from the troops, I’d say the Governor was a great boost to moral!

So where does this leave us?

Well, as we know, Linda Kellen Biegel is a seriously deranged woman void of all reason or self-restraint. So you can bet she is cooking up a way to file this ethics complaint! Of course, she may not do it herself. She has many surrogates like Andree McLeod or Sondra Tompkins, or Theodore “Chip” Thoma!

But her MO will be the same as always. Before she even files the paperwork, or gives it to a “designated hitter” to file, the details will be all over the internet. All of the various blogs will put it out, and the three hate bloggers from the Huffington Post, Amanda Coyne (whose husband conveniently works at the Anchorage Daily News), Jeanne Devon (AKMuckraker) and Shannyn Moore will most certain have star placement over at Arianna Huffington’s rag.

You know, these people are why we cannot get good and decent men and woman to take part in the democratic process in our country. Just as soon as a real leader emerges, folks like Biegel, and the rest pull out their tattered copies of Saul Alinsky’s “Rules For Radicals” and go to town.

It seems that all liberals are given a copy of the old communist “community organizer” from Chicago’s book, at birth.

So far, these miscreants have cost the state of Alaska around $300,000 and have run up a personal legal tab of around a half million dollars for Governor Palin.

What can you do?

Get involved! This woman is an official blogger for the Democrat National Committee. She is also endorsed by the democrat party of Alaska. And enjoys a premium placement on their official website.

Conservatives 4 Palin has a great list of contacts that you can get in touch with. One can certainly ask them if this sort of economic terrorism is something they really want to endorse. Or for that matter, see it used against them in the future. More and more conservatives are reading Alinsky these days!

You can also help spread the word through friends and on the various blogs you frequent. If nothing else, when these loons try to come out with this “complaint” everyone will already know that it is bogus!

And one thing more, this isn’t just about Governor Palin. These aren’t the only underhanded democrat operatives out there. Even if you aren’t one of Governor Palin’s strong supporters, remember this, if they’ll do this to her, sooner or later, they’ll do it to someone you do care about! This sort of character assassination and economic terrorism is standard operating procedure for the modern democrat party. Just ask David Axlerod or Rahm Emanuel!

This is as good a time as any to draw a line in the sand! Enough is indeed enough!

I’ll leave you with this thought from Pastor Martin Niemöller the German anti-Nazi activist:

“In Germany they first came for the Communists,

and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist.

Then they came for the Jews,

and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew.

Then they came for the trade unionists,

and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Catholics,

and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant.

Then they came for me —

and by that time no one was left to speak up”.

It is a time to choose.
