“Sarah Palin to Values Voters: Stand Up Stiffen Your Spine; Best is Yet to Come.”

Values Voters

By Isabel Matos

This is an excerpt from a great write-up by Breitbart News writer, Kevin Scholla, Sarah Palin to Values Voters:  Stand Up and Stiffen Your Spine; the Best is Yet to Come” published on September 28, 2014:

“It truly is an honor to get to be here with all of you, and I just want to take some time here to thank you for your boldness, your courage, your ignoring of what the lamestream media does to you and a lot of us so often,” said Palin. “You’re strong and America needs you, needs your voice. So, to just get to kind of share some of that, to empower us all and inspire us all, to enlarge our ranks, I want to take the time to thank you.”

She said it was an honor to speak “to Americans who give more and volunteer more and serve more and do all those things behind the scenes that make America so exceptional.”

“You’re the Americans that the media loves to hate, but, you know, I think there – there’s a book out there that maybe some of them just haven’t really understood and in it, it says, consider it pure joy, my sisters and brothers, when you suffer trials of many kinds,” she said. “And considering the trials that the media dumps on you, this is the most joyful room in Washington.”

The speech closed with a glass half-full take delivered in plain speak. “Keep faith in the American Dream and share it, because the message resonates, and it has since that band of brothers dumped tea in Boston Harbor,” Palin said. “We can be optimistic, as they were. We can be optimistic about the future of our one nation because we’re under God. So stand up and stiffen your spine. The best is yet to come.”

He continues..

The audience clearly enjoyed Palin’s style. Joking about very serious issues to drive home vital points. That’s exactly what makes Palin Palin. In a day and age when we are inundated with teleprompter-reading academic milquetoasts, Palin’s brand of populism is a welcome relief.

As she always does in her speeches, Palin tipped her hat to our military. She also tied that into another disrespectful move by Obama. Recently a photo was taken of the president saluting one of our Marines while holding a Styrofoam cup. Mama grizzlies don’t like that. “Our honored military — when we talk about these national security issues, our honored military, on behalf of all Americans who do support you — and we honor you, we respect you — on behalf of all Americans who feel like I do, to your commander-in-chief, well, we then will salute him,” said Palin. “He still hasn’t learned how to salute our Marines.”

A core message in Palin’s comments was a call to stand up for morals and American beliefs. “It is time for the politics of values,” Palin said. “And I don’t want anybody to be afraid or ashamed of the core values that we are here celebrating.”After all of the hits Palin has taken over the years she still can knock lines like this out of the park with a huge smile on her face. It drives liberals nuts. It delighted those at the summit on Friday.

Palin called out liberals for their tactics of hate. She called those who question why she sometimes doesn’t wear a wedding ring “haters” and intolerant.” We all know media members and politicians engage in these gutter tactics. Few however have the guts to call them out so explicitly like Palin does….

He concludes..

Palin finished on a powerful note. “Don’t be ashamed to proclaim your values and to live them,” said Palin. “We are the movement that says yes — yes to time-tested truths, great virtues, great values. And approaching elections, we’re going to support great leaders that are hammering out and working so hard at that restoration agenda to break this country again from a failed liberal agenda — defeating crony capitalism and respecting and supporting, again, our armed forces so that we may have peace — peace through red, white and blue strength — and to value the sanctity of innocent life, where children are not seen as disposable and babies as punishment as our own president referred to — now, children are the best ingredients in this messed up world. Why in the world would you want to get rid of them? So we’ll support leaders who are not afraid of truth, and we’ll fight for it as ones worthy of a great nation.”

During the speech, Palin inadvertently referred to the White House address as 1400 Pennsylvania Avenue instead of 1600. Despite all of the important fact-filled components of her remarks the media blew that minor faux pas up, passing over her message of hope and traditional values to try to once again slam their favorite Alaskan target.

The response from Palin was perfect. She tweeted shortly after the speech “Doggone it! That explains why my Christmas cards keeps getting returned!”  To read the rest of article, go here.

That was what our conservative values warrior said in her Speech. The attempt by the media to exaggerate the importance of her mistake is appalling. Mark Levin slams national Media for Mocking Palin gaffe.  Think about all the back-to-back interviews, speeches, appearances at rallies, book signings, and other predictions of course which she has talked and written about. Think of all the great pieces on her timeline and articles she has written to wake voters up as to what is happening in Washington. Each one is only topped by the next.  Sarah Palin also has a new channel (not an inexpensive venture) so she can be available to her supporters. But Mum is the Media word on that, Impeaching the lawless President, and all the above.

Sarah Palin is tireless. We know hard she has worked. I was just heartsick how one little instant as opposed to the sheer volume of her active engagements and her courage in taking on the president and the GOPe.  It will be used to embarrass her in the future. (Fox had better not go there. Fox Nation did take Tony Lee’s article: Sarah Palin Goes Rogue on Pennsylvania Ave and published it on their site. I suspect the worst (for political expediency later on).

It is those who are unworthy who are glued to the set, FB or near her home just waiting to see her slip (even fall).  I felt badly because she has worked so hard and because they will hang to something as irrelevant as this to spread a depiction the does do damage.  The fact is, she has succeeded at proving the media wrong, even under all the scrutiny she has been under, time and again. And she handled this latest beautifully. It’s time to move on. Again.

One should never judge a person by how they fall, but by how they pick themselves up from the fall.  She’s proven to be a leader for that alone. It takes character to do what she does every day.  She is real. People love that. Just to make the point, Gov. Palin asks NOT to have teleprompters at her speeches.

No teleprompters!  Just think how anyone else would fare without them? It shows her confidence as a competent, impressive and compelling speaker.

So where are the potential 2016 candidates. Are they calling attention to this country’s issues or Obama? Where IS Jeb Bush? He does not chime in on much.  He doesn’t take media hits for taking risks by going against Obama like Sarah does.  So he is the perfect candidate? For the media, yes. To fail.  What to do know about Jeb Bush? He is for acts of love, but what else? What does he spend all his time doing.. Fundraising? Plotting? Can we know?!

Well, here’s an update (9/29/2014) on what he plans to run on: Common Core and Acts of Love.  You heard me. That’s it, voters. Bring it, Jeb!

Levin Grills Jon Stewart Leibowitz: You F’ing Seen Israel, You little Twerp?

By Isabel Matos

23 4 5

Jon Stewart is stupid. He has a team who writes his jokes for him. They are nothing but a venue for propaganda. Mark Levin calls “Leibowtiz’s” audience clapping seals and took issue with a specific comment made that he (Stewart) understood everyone had “strong opinions” regarding the most recent conflict,

“but merely mentioning Israel or questioning in any way the effectiveness or humanity of Israel’s policies is not the same thing as being pro-Hamas.”

1

Mark questioned why Stewart had changed his name to Leibowitz and said if Hamas had the capability Israel has including nuclear and other weapons Israel would cease to exist.

This is one race I can’t wait to see the results! There has been more primary excitement in NORTH CAROLINA than OHIO or INDIANA combined!  A huge intra-party feud has been playing itself out for 15 months now. First is the Establishment candidate, Thom Tillis, speaker of the North Carolina House. Tillis is backed by Rove (of course), the Chamber of Commerce, Mitch McConnell, Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney who just endorsed him yesterday.

The second challenger in the race is a pro-life candidate appealing to Evangelicals, Mark Harris. He is a preacher and is backed by “enemy” Mike Huckabee, according to those on the ground. Kristen Petersen, tea party activist who has been in full campaign mode from day one, reports:

This is another example of the GOP establishment putting out fake Tea Party Conservative candidates to peel away votes from those that are true conservatives.  She cites the Southern Baptist’s preference for immigration restitutions (code for amnesty) even though the pastor won’t use the term (typical).  What he said.

huckabee and sarah

Huckabee recorded a robo-call on behaloof of Harris that went out to 300,00 registered Republicans between Saturday to Monday

Huckabee has inserted himself twice now in races in which Sarah Palin endorsed a candidate. (He is no friend of Sarah’s). In Oklahoma he endorsed Jack Lanford, T.W. Shannon’s opponent. In Florida he and Jeb Bush both endorsed Lizbeth Benacquisto in the last days to perpetuate the false impression that she was the establishment candidate. It gets complicated, but let’s just say Huckabee’s endorsements are a nuisance in any primary and this is how the Establishment rolls.

We have three candidates but two factions within the party (Paul vs. Bush) fighting for control of the GOP and this won’t be the first race we will see it happen in. 1

The Libertarian Conservative favored by the grassroots in N.C. is Dr. Greg Brannon “the best option to defeat Kay Hagan” as Democrats want Tillis (Rove’s choice) to be Hagan’s opponent.

This is Dr. Greg Brannon:

Husband of 25 years, Father of 7, Physician to 20,000 &

North Carolina’s Constitutional Conservative Candidate for U.S. Senate. www.GregBrannon.com

dr greg brannon

The winning candidate must have 40 percent of the votes to avoid a run-off. Rand Paul made a last-minute campaign trail stop on Monday which could determine the results of the race.

Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul rallied for Brannon Monday in Charlotte: “‘The status quo has gotten too strong in Washington, D.C. The Leviathan has gotten too large. … As we stand here, the debt clock is spiraling out of control. Send us a champion. Send us a hero. Send us a dragon slayer,’ Paul said, speaking prior to Brannon in front of a cheering crowd of about 250 outside the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Uptown Charlotte on Monday.”  Paul Rand, Greg Brannon

A run-off would delay challenging Democrat Kay Hagan who said: kay hagan

Join the Excitement For T.W. Shannon Liberty Rally Thursday, 4/24 at 6 p.m. #LibertyRally #TeamTW #ThatWoman

big rally november 24

By Isabel Matos

Thursday, April 24th, 6:00 p.m.

Rally for U.S. Senate Candidate T.W. Shannon with

Governor Sarah Palin, U.S. Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee

Green Country Event Center 12000 E 31st ST, Tulsa OK   RSVP

Timeline of Endorsements

Sarah Palin Endorses T.W. Shannon

March 12th:  Wow! I am truly honored to hear the news that Governor Palin has endorsed my candidacy for the U.S. Senate. When I asked Governor Palin to support me, I told her that we need a new generation of conservative leaders committed to fighting–and winning!–the battles that will determine the future of our country. I am humbled beyond words that she is supporting me. What a blessing!  ~ T.W. Shannon

T.W. SHANNON FOR U.S. SENATE FROM OKLAHOMA          Tom Coburn leaves large conservative shoes to fill as he retires from the U.S. Senate. At 6’5 feet tall, T.W. Shannon is just the leader to fill them. T.W. is the underdog in his race, but that’s not a position he’s unfamiliar with. He’s had to beat the odds all of his life. He became the first Republican to ever win his district’s seat in the Oklahoma state legislature even though the naysayers said it couldn’t be done. When he sought to be Speaker of the House, the naysayers said he was too young and too conservative to win. But his colleagues chose him anyway, and he became the youngest Speaker in Oklahoma history!T.W.’s opponent has the backing of Beltway insiders, but T.W. has the passion and experience We the People need in Washington. As the former Speaker he can stand proud on his record of fighting for conservative legislation that directly benefited the lives of Oklahomans by lowering taxes, cutting government waste, and breaking the cycle of poverty by encouraging entrepreneurial self-reliance as the proven path to prosperity. T.W. understands that we need real leaders with vision and a steel spine to get things done. As he told me: “We are suffering from a lack of conservative vision. I believe we desperately need leaders with deep convictions who will fight—and win—the battles for conservative policies.”We can also rest assured that T.W. will bring to D.C. the integrity and moral compass he acquired growing up attending Bethlehem Baptist Church and teaching Sunday School. T.W. Shannon is exactly the kind of dynamic young conservative leader we need in Washington!

March 12th:  I am absolutely convinced that we need new leadership in D.C. That is why I’m running for U.S. Senate. The campaign trail can take candidates away from their families a lot. My family and I have pledged to pray daily for all those in this race as well as for their families. I’ve always believed that we are competitors not enemies. Please join us in praying for wisdom and humility. ~ T.W. Shannon

March 24th: Mark Levin endorses Shannon “I’ve taken a very close look at this race and have talked to a number of folks who know Shannon. I want to join great conservatives, like my friend Sarah Palin, in endorsing Shannon for Senate in Oklahoma. Shannon is very impressive and, I believe, understands the dire situation facing the nation.”

March 27thThe Senate Conservatives Fund is on board! T.W.’s underdog campaign continues to gain momentum with the endorsement of an organization known for protecting Constitutional principles and conservative values. ~  T.W. Shannon

April 2nd  : Today, conservative United States Senator Mike Lee has endorsed my campaign for the U.S. Senate! Senator Lee has been one of the few conservative leaders challenging the status quo in Washington, D.C. and I am proud to have his support. ~   T.W. Shannon

mike lee endorsement

April 4th, Ben Carson:  I enjoyed having the opportunity to visit with my friend, Dr. Benjamin S. Carson, to talk about our shared faith, personal testimony, and the rejection of the lefts’ welfare dependency mentality for minorities. His endorsement means a lot to me personally, and for our campaign! T.W. Shannonben carson for tw

April 14th, Devon Shannon’s “Endorsement” In Case You Missed It: Have you seen my wife Devon’s new video about her story and testimony? She never ceases to amaze me and I know you’ll be moved by her words. Check it out now and SHARE with your friends and family to help us spread the word!  ~ T.W. Shannon

April 16th Ted Cruz joins Team T.W. – Makes first Senate Endorsement.

“T.W. Shannon is a strong Constitutional conservative who will fight for individual liberty and help turn our country around,” Sen. Cruz said. “T.W. embodies the American dream. I’m proud to offer T.W. my enthusiastic endorsement because not only will he vote the right way, but he’ll stand up and fight with us in the Senate to stop President Obama’s assault on our liberties and defend America’s founding principles.”

“One of the things I keep hearing as I travel the state is that my fellow Oklahomans feel like their personal freedoms are under assault,” said T.W. Shannon. “Whether it’s the government mandating health insurance we don’t want, or invading our privacy, or forcing people to violate their conscience by providing abortion drugs—Oklahomans now fear their own government is taking away their liberty.

“But it doesn’t have to be this way. Thomas Jefferson said when the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty. If conservatives here in Oklahoma and across America will unite, we can protect our God-given liberty, and take back this country.

“We need to send a message to Washington, D.C., and make our voices heard. I hope my fellow patriots from here in Tulsa and all across the state will join me with Gov. Palin, Sen. Cruz and Sen. Lee as we rally for Liberty here in the heartland.”

April 24th:  Freedom Works supports T.W.  Very exciting news that I hope I can count on you to help me SHARE! We’ve received the endorsement and support of one of the top conservative organizations in the nation: FreedomWorks is leading the fight for lower taxes, less government and more economic freedom for all Americans. I look forward to standing with them as Oklahoma’s next U.S. Senator. ~ T.W. Shannon

Kentucky: Your Primary is Our National Business. Time to Send McConnell Packing! Levin Endorses Matt Bevin.

By Isabel Matos

The Great One, Mark Levin, endorses Matt Bevin, primary candidate running against Senate Minority Leader, Mitch McConnell, for Kentucky U.S. Senate.

Enough of the status quo and politicians who claim to be Tea Party leaders who continue selling us out. I’ve published clips and rants about Rand Paul ad nauseaum. I am not here to disparage him, but to show the implications of what his half-hearted, “soft” and veiled support of the Tea Party will mean for us nationally. If it was good for Rubio, it’s good for him. Why should he be exempt from criticism? He’s just as devious, if not more. And the stakes are even higher now.

There’s not much passion in this primary for some reason. It’s as if McConnell’s fate was sealed. He is definitely being protected by Rand Paul. Nothing sickens me more than Paul’s duplicity and cheap talk about the party having to be “softer”, be more diplomatic in foreign policy, evolve and adapt, reach out to illegals .. or my favorite, be one big happy family. He’s a RINO already, get it?!

There is nothing special about Rand Paul.

Rand Paul said he wouldn’t get involved in incumbent races yet undermines Matt Bevin over a minor Tarp issue, and dismisses McConnell’s remarks about “crushing the Tea Party everywhere” Rand Paul’s reply? “Things are said in campaigns that are not intended”, and “The Tea Party is the energy of the Republican Party and a big factor in elections.” That’s it. He continued the interview advocating for healthy intra-party debate on a civilized plane so “Democrats don’t take advantage”.  As a reminder, Washington Times reported:

In a rare moment of candor for a career politician, Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) told the New York Times last week that his goal is to defeat conservative candidates across the country.  McConnell vowed to “crush them everywhere.

[On March 13th] former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin endorsed two of the candidates that Mitch McConnell is trying to “crush.”

Palin announced her support for college president Ben Sasse in Nebraska and state senator Chris McDaniel in Mississippi.

The Times also reported that McConnell’s goal “is to deny them any Senate primary victories, cut into their fund-raising and diminish them as a future force in Republican politics.”

So far Sarah has not endorsed Matt, but she has endorsed Chris McDaniel and Ben Sasse who McConnell has targeted.  May 20th is almost around the corner but polling has shown Bevin hasn’t been able to surpass McConnell once.

  mcconnell vs bevin

Kentuckians are not believing Matt Bevin is fighting against the abuse of money behind certain pet projects for his state enough, and spending too much time talking about ObamaCare.  The problem is… dear Kentucky voters:

THIS race does affect us nationally more than any other because of Mitch’s Senate leadership position. Rand Paul’s endorsement of McConnell has done the most damage to your state, and to us. Be objective. See what is going on. Bevin isn’t perfect and he’s perceived as the weak horse in this race but it is because of the effect of the Establishment Media depicting him negatively.

In any case, Bevin said on Mark Levin’s show he had a chance to win. He believes “it is within our reach and that all he needs is the right kind of firepower” to give his campaign the edge to beat Mitch. If you’re from Kentucky, please let Bevin know if he wants a game-changer he is going to have to court Sarah for an endorsement. As it stands, he doesn’t seem to get it.  There is NO indication he has done so, and even if he did at this point, I don’t think Sarah would endorse him because he is a bit vague in his stances and Sarah likes steel spine winner types!

fundsWhatever you think of  MattBevin.com  just remember what Mitch vowed to do to the Tea Party. McConnell has over $10,000,000 to spend on making us want to stop the fight. Quit. It will only embolden him further if he gets his way. 30 years of the Kentucky establishment is Enough! (It’s enough anywhere!) Rand Paul getting a pass for betraying voters by supporting the most powerful Establishment RINO to serve himself – also Enough! The Pauls and their contributions to Election losses? Enough!! (Image by Politico)

Rand Paul’s heart is NOT with the Tea Party but with himself. He will never be president and helping McConnell will help secure a solid position for himself in the party in the future. He’s playing the game at the expense of the rest of us. There is little daylight between Rand Paul and Mitch McConnell. But even if Bevin is not perfect, he would still not be in a position to hurt us like McConnell has.

 sarah and mcconnell

If Sarah can’t do anything about this race directly, no one can.

I was hoping for a real fight!

I admire Bevin for at least taking on the Bad Guy from the Good Old Boys club, the one Rand has joined like so many others, but I don’t think Bevin has a chance in heck to win. I do pray the candidates McConnell is after (Ben Sasse and Chris McDaniel) will. The Status Quo “Junior” and “Senior” Senators from Kentucky are the worst things to have happened to GOP politics in a long while (maybe two months there are so many pathetic headlines) but the silver lining in all of this is that in the end we may prevail anyway if McConnell loses to Grimes.
It’s completely possible. We can afford one less Senate seat if we have other Senators win. I think that IS the Palin strategy. The other silver lining is that people are starting to wake and see Rand Paul for who he is. He will be forever known for having been the guy who endorsed the Senator who wanted to crush us, Tea Party Americans, and did nothing about it. It won’t be forgotten and he, too, will have to pay consequences like Rubio did. I so hope.
Matt Bevin spoke at a FREEPAC event today:

Wayne Mazza: My Day at the Governor Palin Rally for Steve Lonegan for Senate

dawn

By Wayne Mazza

I was on the road Saturday morning at 7am and got to New Egypt around 10am.  I made plans the night before to meet up with political ally and Facebook friend Pat Cashman.  I met Pat at around 10am at the Speedway where we barely had to time to greet each other.

It was just that quick, BAM! Soon as we arrived, Pat and I were volunteers.  We planted roughly over 450 “Lonegan for Senate” signs along both sides of the road.

pat planting signs

We took a quick break and got some coffee at Wawa’s then began hanging more signs on the fences of the speedway.  By then we were joined by Pat’s brother and his cousins who were also volunteers!

We did New Jersey Conservatives proud, and there is nothing better than meeting someone you are friends with on Facebook for the first time.  After the event we had a wonderful dinner together before I headed home.

What a day! I went to meet one friend and left with six more. Thank you, Pat!

new buddies

Now for the Rally

By 3:30pm the party got started, we had singing, heard from the Tea Party Express bus driver Ray, and then the speakers. The mayor of New Egypt, Amy Kremer, a Democrat congressman who is supporting Lonegan, and then the Great one “Mark Levin”.

Mark was his usual self, warning us of what is happening before our eyes, telling the president to open our Monuments, and how hard the fight ahead with establishment Republicans, the sell outs, is going to be!!

Mark Leven is middle America, just like Sarah Palin, and he connects with people just like she does. Hearing him talk in person had the hair on my neck standing up. He always brings such a sense of pride in his speeches that you think your heart is going to burst.

Mark was followed by Mr. Lonegan who really gave a great speech on family traditions and values. It was followed up by his business success.

Then, the moment we were all waiting for, was at hand.  Mr. Lonegan introduced Governor Palin and the crowd went wild. There was cheering, there were flags waving, and there she stood, “Our Mama Grizzley”, our Northern Light, the leader of the conservative movement, “Our Sarah”!

I have been privileged to be in the presence of Governor Palin four times in the last fours years and I must say, the feeling is always the same. The air feels like it is filled with electricity, her warmth covers you like a blanket on a cold night, and if you are lucky enough to catch her inadvertently looking at you as she is gazing over the crowd, you can feel the spirit of God radiating through her eyes.

People wonder why she can take all the insults and lies spread about her and keep going.  I will tell you why I think that is so. First of all, she is a Christian woman.  Second, she was an athlete, and athletes fight to the end, till the last out or until time runs out! Third, her love for not only this country but its people gives her strength.

As Governor Palin was speaking, you can feel that fight in her and that unwavering strength.  She is serious about what she says and when she sets her jaw, and her eyes are focused on the crowd, you can see the determination in her eyes and know she is taking no prisoners.

Other than the promotion for Mr. Lonegan, there were two points she made in her speech that were very clear!

1. Our country is under attack by a Socialist President. Sarah calls it the way she sees it. And     fearlessly!

2. We have to fight to elect more Constitutional conservatives. We need to send  reinforcements to help the good guys like Ted Cruz and Mike Lee to Washington.

3.  Sarah also reminded us of some history. There were more battles fought in New Jersey than any other colony during the Revolutionary war, and New Jersey had her own first Momma Grizzley. She told us how Molly went to the battlefield to give the soldiers water and when her husband went down, she immediately took his place swabbing and loading canon.

When Sarah talks, people listen, and she does not have to promise hope and change, you feel it in her presence.  I was just three feet away from her here.
sarah shaking hands

Security said there were 2500 cars. At 2 per car, 5000 would be conservative. There are many over to the left side of this picture which you cannot see.rally crowd

Here she is signing autographs at the end of the rally with Todd looking on.

Mark Levin and Heather MacDonald Dismantle Jeb Bush’s Immigration Talking Points

Immigration-reform-rally-620x413

Mark Levin was Ed Meese’s Chief of Staff within Ronald Reagan’s administration.  Recently he offered having a debate on “Immigration Reform” (we all know it’s Amnesty!) with Heather Mac Donald and Ed Meese. Even though the debate was not held, I hope some of the answers she  provides help you argue against Amnesty with your Representatives.  (I know it’s against all hope, but we must call them!)  Heather Lynn Mac Donald, of the Manhattan Institute, is an expert on Immigration Reform. She was on Mark’s show to rebut what Jeb Bush had said at the Faith and Freedom Coalition, on June 22nd. She and Mark both dismantle the ignorant comments Jeb made.

The only way that we can rebuild the demographic pyramid is to fix a broken immigration system to allow for people to come, to learn English, to play by our rules, to embrace our values, and to pursue their dreams in our country with a vengeance to create more opportunities for all of us. This is a conservative idea.  And if we do this, we will rebuild our country in a way that will allow us to grow. If we don’t do it, we will be in decline because the productivity of this country is dependent upon young people that are equipped to work hard.”

Heather: I particularly love theplaying by our rules“. They come here by not playing by our rules The most amazing thing about this amnesty bill will allow people with criminal records and with a number of arrests and misdemeanor convictions to get amnesty, people Karl Rove refers to of strong, proven moral character. So we have an utter attack on the Rule of Law. What no one is talking about is that we already have already discredited enforcement.

Every immigration hearing at this point has protestors in the back with signs saying no more deportation. Even if we give them this amnesty, the next day, a border agent or someone from ICE who ensures this country, finds someone here illegally, deportation is not going to happen.

That other comment is absurd. Nothing in this bill requires the actual acquisition of English. It’s merely an intent to lure the crowd. What we’re already seeing absent in the group of another 30 million immigrants in the future of this bill, is an utter failure of people to adopt our common language.

Take Marco Rubio, for example, who went behind American’s backs in the Spanish Language Media, saying one thing in Spanish to the Spanish-speaking audience, that legalization comes first, before enforcement, the opposite message of what he had been saying to the English-speaking audiences. I find it a shocking betrayal and a sign of why we should worry about the fact that people are not learning English.

She ends the segment by saying Senator Sessions did an extraordinary job, and Senator Grassley to an extent, offering amendments after amendments, but that the bottom line is measurable success to secure the border, not just plans to secure the border. “It has been shown to be a complete fraud.”

Jeb Bush says..

“Immigrants created far more businesses than native-born Americans over the last twenty years.  Immigrants are more fertile and they love families and they have more tight families, and they bring in a younger population.”

Heather: That is a lie! There is no difference at all in the business creation rates between immigrants and native Americans.

What Bush and everybody else does constantly is conflate high-skilled and low-skilled immigrants, and among the low-skilled Hispanic immigrants, they ignore cultural differences. I’m reluctant to bring it on air, but it is true. There is a culture confrontation among South American immigrants, and those from Mexico and Central America. I spoke to a lot of Hispanic Entrepreneurs for an article I wrote recently about California, and I wanted to give the best possible picture of Californian Hispanic Entrepreneurs, and I went to a Democratic Latino pollster and said give me the best people I can talk to, to give the positive side of the story, and I did. They were all Columbians, Ecuadorians, Cubans and Spaniards who had come. One woman from Ecuador who runs a publishing business she says her own work place is divided.

The idea that an overall group has a greater rate of business creation is wrong. It ignores the differences among immigrant groups, high-skilled immigrants. Everybody talks about Sergey Brin. That’s a different matter than somebody who’s come in. (Mark interrupts to find out who he is.)

Sergey Brin gave us some of our greatest computer innovations, and is involved in Google, and everybody points to him, but he came in with a high levels of education. Very few people are opposing high-skilled immigrants who do have very high rates of business creation, but that’s not what this bill is about.

It would have been another thing if Jeb Bush had followed through on the recommendations of his book which is to tilt the immigration towards a high-skilled immigration then we’ve lost on that count, we’ve run out on those kinds of advocates, and we’ve preserved our system of mostly family-based immigration, chain migration, which is going to bring in more of the low-skilled population.

Mark: This is what also bothers me about his statement. They characterize foreigners who come here illegally as virtuous, as noble, as entrepreneurs, and they put down the native population, the very people who put them in office, the very people that government exists to defend and nurture. So the American people are treated like second-class citizens, and it is the immigrant, the illegal immigrant, who is so much better.

Poverty rates

Heather:  Among Hispanics, it’s twice as high. This is now native-born Hispanics. Second, third generation Hispanics have a much higher rate of Welfare consumption, not because they are not working. They are in the work force, most of them, but because their skill level is so low.

Mark interjects to look who is coming across the border – not rocket scientists or engineers – it’s poor people escaping the cronyism and what goes on in the Mexican government. So of course, they’re poor, they’re less skilled.  They’re less literate. That’s your point.

Heather:  The rate of welfare and poverty actually goes up with second, third generation Hispanics in this country, which is extremely odd, and just another sign that what is happening is a certain rate of assimilation to an underclass. The argument that we also hear from Jeb Bush and Rubio is that it will have a wonderful effect on bailing out our bankrupt entitlement programs, because they’re going to pay taxes, but they’re not paid in taxes enough to compensate for the cost of education and health care, and other programs.

Mark: None of us have enough money to pay for this massive implosion of a welfare state. Let’s slash these programs instead!

Amnesty

MarkPaul Ryan is saying (talking point) “This isn’t Amnesty.  Amnesty wipes the slate clean.” Mark says Amnesty (to him) is you’re here illegally and now you’re legal!

Heather:  That is exactly what is does. Amnesty does wipe the slate clean. The fact that you have to pay a minimum fine of $500 to get immediately legalized after this bill is passed, doesn’t make it not an amnesty. The point of an amnesty is you’re no longer illegal. So we have tax amnesty, too, that usually requires a back payment of taxes that we consider an amnesty, because your status as a tax lawbreaker, is canceled. So that is a basic fact, but beyond that, if you want to quibble about the details, the law is filled of loopholes of how you can get away from paying a minimum amount of fines whether imposed, and the notion that the illegal aliens are going to pay their back taxes, that doesn’t make it not an amnesty. That’s incorrect.

There’s no obligation requiring the illegal aliens to come forward and honor how much taxes they have to pay. That’s not going to happen. In any case, what it gets the people here exactly is what they want, which is fully legal status.I’m amazed that Republicans aren’t fighting harder, and see that just because there’s a few hurdles which are trivial, does not make it not an amnesty.

Jeb Bush says…

3.  “Canada is the place we might want to look to. Canada has one tenth our population. They have more “economic immigrants” and they have seen sustained economic growth because of it. We should…”

Heather: I’m amazed that Jeb Bush has the gall to bring up Canada, because Canada is looking at high-skilled immigrants. Canada uses skills as a point system, so if you speak English, you get in, if you have Advanced Education, you get in. That would be a proposal the Republicans could get behind.

But in Canada they don’t have what we have – a mass flow of uneducated immigrants, who may mean well, but I would invite Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio to go in to the middle schools in Los Angeles to see single mothers coming in to talk with the anti-gang counselors of the school to try to figure out how to keep their teen males out of gang culture, and stop hanging on the streets of Los Angeles, because these mothers who are single mothers who have also, while we’re at it, Mark, deceived the Hispanic “family values” myth.

Hispanics now have now a 53% out-of-wedlock birth rate, twice what the black illegitimacy rate was in ’55, when then Daniel Patrick Moynihan so presciently said that a 23% illegitimacy rate among blacks signaled a major social catastrophe. I would invite Bush and Rubio to come with me to some schools in LA to where they will see the effects of massive, low-skilled immigration, which is what the Gang of Eight Bill is going to bring us. The Hispanic out-of-wedlock rate is twice that of Whites and Asians.

 Black 73%

Hispanic 53%

Hispanic American 43%

White 23%

Asians 16%

Mark:  I have two last questions 1) I keep hearing we have to bring illegal aliens out of the shadows. They’re not in the shadows!  2) We can’t maintain their status like this. I’m thinking to myself: Are people dragged across the border. Why is it my responsibility to confer rights and benefits to people who are here illegally? Why is this my number one priority?

Heather: We are constantly hearing that we are responsible for breaking up families, and they’re responsible! They came here fully assuming the risk of being illegal. This is not a problem that won’t take care of itself. Their kids through the idiocy of birth-right citizenship, their kids who were born here are American citizens. We are not to blame. The Rule of Law is not to blame.

Mark Levin on Why the Bush Wing of the GOP Attacks Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz

0316-ted-cruz-sarah-palin.jpg_full_600

By Gary P Jackson

A quick bit of audio from Monday’s Mark Levin Show. Levin talks about why the Republican Establishment™ hates Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz, and why the Bush wing of the party is particular vicious:

I agree with Mark, and should add, that both Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz are against the treasonous amnesty bill being pushed through Congress. That ain’t winning them any points with the corrupt GOP either!
