Primary RESULTS in Kentucky, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Arkansas, Idaho

REPUBLICAN PRIMARY RESULTS

a lot can change

By Isabel Matos

The test of a candidate’s character is not only after a loss, but a victory as well. We have seen many in the Establishment gloat after beating the Tea Party in a primary or wanting to take 100% credit for their win in a primary AFTER it was made possible by the Base’s support. And we have seen great candidates concede graciously after losing or humbly accepting victory as A WIN FOR the PEOPLE. The latter is the candidate who really wins our hearts and minds and who we like to see win because in either case they vow to continue to fight for what is right. I’m looking forward to seeing the results tonight but how the candidates react as well. We thank the true fighters taking on the GOPe who vowed to crush us.

The polls have closed and the results are in. Let’s review the races that affected us briefly, starting with Georgia.

Excitement was building for underdog and Sarah Palin endorsee, Karen Handel. Former Georgia Secretary of State Karen Handel was one of several contenders in this GOP primary race. David Perdue – cousin of former Governor Sonny Perdue and former CEO of Dollar General, U.S. Representatives Jack Kingston, Phil Gingrey, and Paul Broun were among them. David Perdue is a liberal Republican elitist tried to smear her every chance he had.  He was unsuccessful.

He (Perdue) offended 65% of Georgians when he ridiculed Karen Handel for not obtaining a college degree

If a candidate does not exceed 51% to win, the top two winners will face each other on a run-off on July 22nd, and Democrat Michelle Nunn in the general election.  Real Clear Politics has Perdue in first place and Kingston in second, so the run-off will be between Perdue and Kingston.

WHY IT MATTERS

[Michelle] Nunn, the former CEO of the George H.W. Bush-founded Points of Light Foundation and the daughter of former Georgia Democratic Senator Sam Nunn, is a strong candidate for Democrats in an unexpected state, and Georgia could be an oasis for the party in an otherwise barren 2014 Senate landscape. Despite Georgia’s deep red leanings in recent years, polls have shown her narrowly beating the Republicans in the field. Perdue brings the most significant outside money behind him, while Handel, with her endorsements, brings tea party bona fides. Whoever advances tonight, a competitive general-election lies ahead.

Karen was enjoying a big surge as a poll on May 1st indicated. She was in a statistical tie with Perdue. It is undeniable Sarah Palin’s endorsements make a huge impact on any race. And she endorses terrific candidates. Karen IS a FIERCE defender of life, was adamant about repealing ObamaCare and against amnesty.

It’s crazy for Georgians to hesitate to elect a woman to represent them. (C’mon voters, who better to take on the left’s REAL war on women than a woman from the right?  Karen said it best herself:

“It’s a different dynamic when there are two women discussing the ‘war on women”.  She said it wouldn’t “go very far with her.”

*********

Matt Bevin

Matt Bevin has waged an uphill battle against five-term senator Mitch McConnell. His campaign was not the best, but you cannot underestimate the power of a right wing press statewide dictating the narrative before a newcomer makes his way into the race. At least he took a chance and challenged the status quo in Kentucky. That he can be proud of.  It takes courage to do what he did and it will set a precedent in races to come in Kentucky.  We predicted it, but again, he tried. We will keep a close eye with what happens in Kentucky politics from now on as they have a severe establishment problem there.

Matt Bevin hired Amy Kremer after she resigned from Tea Party Express on Good Friday, four days prior to the primary race in Florida between Curt Clawson (the Tea Party Express’s candidate) and Lizbeth Benacquisto.

MATT BEVIN CONCESSION SPEECH

If you’re up for having a depressing evening), read more here. I would rather hear from fighters like Karen Handel who were never deterred by challenges and overcame odds in her life. Like her, we must have the determination to keep on fighting with faith we can beat the GOPe, too.

karen

“I have been underestimated my whole life.”

Lake — the Republican consultant — said that even if Handel comes in third place, it would be a moral victory for her because she’s “earned a lot of people’s respect.”

“Whether you like Karen Handel or not I think everybody has got to agree that she has exceeded expectations of what most people thought would happen in this race,” he said. BUZZFEED

UPDATE  (2:30 a.m.)

Sarah Palin posted on her Facebook Timeline:

Congratulations to the recent victorious primary election campaigns. We trust you’re rested up because America needs you to put shoulder to the grindstone as time marches toward this fall’s general election. Our nation’s future depends on aconservative agenda that lets freedom flourish and industry thrive with American workers again.

We need a united front to combat the egregious agenda under which our economy, security, and freedoms now suffer. It’s only by banding together to push conservatives across the finish line that America can recover. How to do it? Focus. Keep your eye on the ball. Remember the real threat to our country’s solvency and sovereignty is the liberal pro-Obama candidates we’ll face this fall.

A special thanks tonight to Georgia senate candidate Karen Handel for having the courage to jump into the ring and fight for what is right. Our nation becomes a better nation when good candidates like Karen come forward and offer to serve for the right reasons. The party of Lincoln and Reagan needs more strong, confident conservative women like her. Teddy Roosevelt’s quote about the man – or woman – “in the arena” is applicable here: God bless the candidate “who strives valiantly,” and “if [she] fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that [her] place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.”

Many more primary races are underway. Constitutional conservatives will be the ones to adhere to the blueprint our Founders created for us to follow towards a more perfect union. Please support them. United we’ll stand for the exceptional nation America is destined to be again. Divided we’ll fall under continued failed liberal policies.

Thank you, campaign volunteers and informed voters! Hang in there; God bless you for your good efforts! Campaigns going forward, like Nebraska’s Ben Sasse, are in need of our involvement now more than ever. Here’s a reminder of what patriots can do together for our nation:

Co-Founder of Tea Party Express Openly Supports Amnesty. Has Been GOPe Operative for 50 Years. So Why Has He Been a “Tea Party” Strategist?

 Alexandra+Russo+Tea+Party+Express+Holds+Election+CmiyZud7MLwl

By Isabel Matos

I reported last month how the endorsement of the Tea Party Express in Florida’s 19th Congressional District threw the election off by giving voters the wrong impression that “their” guy was a Tea Party conservative and an outsider.

An article appearing in Richard Viguerie’s ConservativeHQ reports that Sal Russo is openly supporting amnesty. This is a 180 degree turn from Tea Party Express’s statement that it would not take a position on immigration reform.

I’m jubilant about the news because I feel a bit vindicated. I knew there were issues with TPX early on but first learned about Sal Russo when I wrote about him and possible infiltration in TPX via Russo and RandPac. Being at Lizbeth Benacquisto’s campaign helped me see first hand the impact the Tea Party Express endorsement had and the meme that would not go away in the media.  (It is important to get involved. You never know what good comes of it.)

Chris Chmielenski, Director of Content and Activism, Numbers USA mostly writes about amnesty but adds a link to Sal Russo’s past I found interesting:

The man behind the organization is anything but a fresh-faced activist. The architect of the Tea Party Express, Sal Russo, is a California political operative who has spent nearly half a century campaigning for Republican candidates.

The Sacramento-based political action committee that funds Tea Party Express activities, Our Country Deserves Better, has taken in more than $4.5 million since forming in 2008 to help John McCain’s presidential campaign. That includes major contributions from corporate executives and other bedrock supporters of conservative candidates, such as actor Chuck Norris.

That raises a couple of questions: WHY didn’t we know about this before and WHY would a REPUBLICAN OPERATIVE be chosen to be a strategist for a Tea Party enterprise to begin with? All of this means we have to continue being vigilant but get better at disseminating information for our movement to sparkle and be squeaky clean.  Conservative HQ’s article, his links or any information leading to more knowledge about the corruption in the TPX must be shared.

After Florida I saw how TPX mixed establishment and non-establishment candidates on their national tours, how they used good people to travel and represent them at those rallies (you know who they are) and how by doing so, they hurt the Tea Party brand. TPX’s ties with the GOPe creates confusion in races they interject themselves in. It has been a big confusing mess! GOPe collaborators like Russo and organizations like the TPX need to be exposed.

I look forward to journalists in the Right Wing Media reporting more on this and for them to add Rand Paul 2016 to the list of corrupt politicians in the GOPe. Every other GOPe establishment type has been named except him it seems.

I wish I knew why Amy Kremer resigned but I can start seeing why.  I will stay on top of this.  I also promise to write what I can if I find anything.  For now this article (most of it in the passage) is a juicy and encouraging start:

Sal Russo, co-founder of the Tea Party Express, announced his support for amnesty on Wednesday, reversing his organization’s statement from a year ago that it would not take a position on immigration reform. If you take a look at Russo’s background, this isn’t exactly the revelation that some in the media are making it out to be. What’s interesting, though, is the dichotomy between Russo’s position and the principles of the organization he helped to create.

The Tea Party Express bills itself as anti-establishment, but Russo’s immigration proposal is nearly identical to the principles pushed by GOP House Leaders — John Boehner, Eric Cantor, and Paul Ryan — back in January. While most Conservatives scoffed at those principles, Russo warns that if they don’t act, immigration reform would take the shape of the “misty-eyed ideals of some of the liberal do-gooder reformers.” This is strange seeing that if you simply changed the byline of Russo’s op-ed in Roll Call to Sen. Chuck Schumer, no one would notice the difference.

Even though it’s buried in the second-to-last paragraph, Russo expresses his unequivocal support for amnesty (even though he doesn’t want you to call it that). He calls for the legalization of 11 million illegal aliens once they pay a penalty, pay their taxes, learn English, and undergo a background check. Contrary to many House Republicans, he doesn’t even block illegal aliens from eventual citizenship; instead, he says he opposes a “special path to citizenship that puts them in front of people who waited in line.” That’s a creative way of describing Schumer’s plan that creates a special path to citizenship after the 4 million foreign citizens waiting in line receive their green cards.

The Tea Party Express calls for a return to Constitutional principles, but Russo seemingly has no issue with rewarding illegal aliens whose first act in the United States was to defy the very document his organization fights to defend.

Another principle of the Tea Party Express is to restore American prosperity, which to many Americans likely means individual prosperity. But Russo joins the business elites, the GOP establishment, the Gang of Eight, Pres. Obama, and 99% of the Democrats in Congress by calling for increases in foreign worker visas. When scoring Schumer’s amnesty bill, the Congressional Budget Office found that its increases in foreign worker visas combined with amnesty would depress wages for American workers, increase unemployment, and reduce GDP per capita over time. Is that the kind of American prosperity that the Tea Party Express and Russo stand for?

The Associated Press called Russo’s comments “notable”, while other reporters wrote about the significance of his coming out party. But if one knows Sal Russo, this is really no surprise.

In the 1980’s, he started a political consulting firm in California where he helped his “close friend” Jack Kemp during his 1988 presidential run. That’s the same Jack Kemp who advocated for both the 1986 and 2006 amnesty bills. It’s the same Jack Kemp who had Cesar Conda, Marco Rubio’s chief of staff, serve on the board of his think tank, Empower America, that employed Paul Ryan. If that’s not enough, Russo also consulted John McCain during his 2008 presidential run. Russo’s open-borders, pro-amnesty ties run far and wide.

For the rest of the article read more here.

 *********

I’m not on the traitor band wagon. I just think we have to focus on exposing the infiltration and corruption going on in the GOPe and very aggressively!

Family, Politics and the Scandal of Corruption That Binds Them: Should Those Ties Compromise Rand in 2016?

mitch-mcconnell-10

by Isabel Matos

I hate working in a vacuum when preparing a video or a lengthy article sometimes because it can take hours away from interacting with people; but I actually enjoyed putting this clip (and article) together because my mission and obsession is to expose GOP corruption and deception. I think you will like it.

In this story we have an entrenched five-term Establishment politician with the second-most powerful position in the Senate (Minority Leader, Republican Mitch McConnell) grasping to retain his power one more term to maybe be Majority Leader (an ironic scenario given it would be made possible by Tea Party support of the same Conservatives he is trying to defeat). We have a Junior Senator (Rand Paul) compromising his own Tea Party principles as he vies for that position or a higher one down the road that will secure a place for him to lead in some leading capacity (as he will never be president). Because the Junior Senator comes from the same state as the elder status-quo he has to play the game and run everything he does past the Establishment we are ALL trying to take on. And last (for the sake of this article, there are more) we have a family member, confidant and campaign manager -Jesse Benton- who they have in common. Benton is not the only bad guy in this political drama which also happens to be a family affair. Benton is married to Rand Paul’s niece (or Ron Paul’s granddaughter). Their corruption, however, is putting our country at risk and possibly why Sarah didn’t get near this race directly. The entrenchment is as thick as the bonds that tie their family.

Jesse Benton was a top campaign aide during Rand Paul’s 2010 Senate bid and became campaign manager after a staff shake up. He served as communications director in 2008 and then campaign manager in 2012 for each one of Ron Paul’s Presidential bids. Mitch McConnell hired him to be his reelection 2014 campaign manager as part of his commitment to running a presidential campaign in Kentucky, which he announced in a prepared statement on September 13, 2012:

[a campaign] starts with a presidential manager. Jesse is literally the best in the business at building and organizing conservative grassroots  movements and I’m thrilled he’s chosen to return to Kentucky to lead my campaign.

The merger was a no-brainer:  McConnell would use Paul to help him garner the Tea Party vote (albeit dishonestly and deceivingly). In turn, Paul would have a very powerful “ally” and access to huge amounts of money for being a loyal “ally”.

Benton’s move from the Paul camp to McConnell’s left some conservative activists scratching their heads because of the two senators’ divergent political philosophies. But since Paul arrived in the Senate, the gentlemen from Kentucky have nurtured a symbiotic partnership that gives Paul establishment credibility while shoring up McConnell’s bona fides among the Tea Party base f.

On February 18th a complaint was filed with the Iowa Senate Ethics Committee regarding a payoff for an endorsement for Ron Paul in the Iowa caucuses. In the complaint Pete Waldron, former campaign staffer for Michele Bachmann alleged that the Paul campaign, “its operatives, and third parties conspired to pay a bribe” to Sorenson “to betray” Bachmann and publicly endorse Ron Paul. The names of those involved are listed here; among them Jesse Benton and Dimitri Kasari.

On December 28th, 2011.. Iowa State Senator and Campaign Chairman for Michele Bachmann for President, Kent Sorenson resigned from Bachmann’s campaign during the 2012  Iowa Caucuses and endorsed 12-term congressman Ron Paul instead.

While this event did not significantly affect the outcome of the election, Sorenson’s endorsement of Congressman Paul is drawing heavy scrutiny after e-mail conversations and memos released exposed a financial proposal of over $200,000 for Sorenson’s defection from the Bachman campaign.

The results of the January 3rd Iowa caucuses were too close to call – the closest in its history. It appeared that Mitt Romney had won at first, but after the results were released on January 19th, it was Rick Santorum who had beat him by a small margin, missing out on all the attention and PR Romney got for it. Ron Paul came in third place. Michele Bachmann came in sixth and dropped out of the race.

The credible allegations in the complaint resulted in Kent Sorenson resigning from office as Senator in October of 2013.  Sorenson admitted receiving payments from, among others, Ron Paul’s deputy campaign adviser, Dimitri Kesari. The federal probe continues it seems. FBI raids reveal connections to the case. Computers have been removed from Sorenson’s house and a grand jury investigation is ongoing.

The FEC assigned a MUR (“Matter Under Review”) number, which indicates a formal inquiry will begin. It has not fazed Benton who is not answering questions about the bribe, or Paul who has tapped him to be his 2016 campaign manager.

Rand Paul’s political adviser, Doug Stafford was managing a consultant involved in bribery payments to Sorenson. His name: Dimitri Kesari. Stafford is Executive Director of Redirecting America (in a) New Direction (RandPac) and is busy ramping-up a political infrastructure “for the 2016 presidential hopeful.”

Jesse Benton joining Stafford makes sense given his comments in a secretly recorded conversation provided to OpenSecrets Blog and other outlets saying that he had accepted the job as McConnell’s campaign manager for the purpose of bolstering Rand Paul’s prospects in 2016.

Jesse Benton has a record of unethical conduct. His ties with so-called conservative organizations like “Americans for Tax Reform” (founded by Grover Norquist, known GOP infiltrator) and the ACU (also known to be infiltrated by GOP enemies Norquist and Suhail Khan) should also be noted. In a simple search:

Who is Jesse Benton? Jesse Benton is a political consultant and libertarian activist know for working with conservative and libertarian organizations like Americans for Tax Reform, the Liberty Coalition, and the American Conservative Union. Benton is strongly associated with the Paul family, serving as a high-ranking staffer for both Ron Paul and Rand Paul.

Those two associations alone would explain many of the stances Paul has taken on issues clearly not supported by the Tea Party, base of the GOP and movement he supposedly represents and is the leader of. He is using them for his political gain and in the process is guilty of confusing and depriving voters of the truth about who he really is.. A fake friend of Conservatives which makes him… a RHino.

GOPe is TOO BIG TO FAIL and Has A “Democrat-Republican” in Line to Take On Winning Palin Endorsee Ben SASSE

ben Sasse

By Isabel Matos

Remember how Curt Clawson won the primary in Florida – by donating to Mitch McConnell, Rand Paul and the Kentucky Republican Party? He was the phony crony and conservative who bought the endorsement of the Tea Rino Express.

The following day several local tea party groups endorsed him. It was spread in the news and the meme was planted that Clawson was the candidate the “Tea Party” had endorsed and the “outsider” who would bring needed change to D.C.  As huge as her status and influence are, by the time Sarah Palin endorsed Lizbeth Benacquisto, the media which had in part been bought by Clawson, too, had already done the damage by spreading the false impression of Clawson.

Now we have another money man inserting himself in the Nebraska primary which BEN SASSE has been winning since Sarah Palin endorsed him.

His name is Sid DINSDALE and he’s not even a Republican!

facebook dinsdale

As you may recall, Mitch McConnell had openly targeted Sasse in November 2013, after the Senate Conservatives Fund endorsed him in the open primary. The SCF was started by current president of The Heritage Foundation, Jim DeMint. Its executive, Matt Hoskins, has been “working to elect McConnell’s challenger”. This fueled McConnell’s anger which he directed at Sasse who became “collateral damage” in the struggle between the NRSC, his PAC and SCF.est 3

According to National Review, on November 12, “Sasse walked into Mitch McConnell’s office to clear the air” and let him know he never intended to oppose McConnell’s leadership, but McConnell was having none of it. The outlet notes that McConnell’s incident with Sasse in his war with SCF is “notable” because “it involves an attractive, promising candidate in an open primary as collateral damage in the intramural fight.” (the full article here)

The good news is RINOS are FEARING us. The bad news – they are desperate enough to resort to unimaginable tactics like getting a Democrat to run as a Republican against us in a primary we are earnestly winning.

Waiting in the wings, with Osborn fully understanding what is happening, is Sid Dinsdale. Dinsdale is extremely rich, has a lot of money to burn at the end of the race, has benefited from sitting on the sidelines above the fray, and is a Democrat. But Dinsdale joined the race as a Republican.

..His family has married into Warren Buffet’s family. After the Corn Husker Kickback and Ben Nelson’s vote for Obamacare, Sid Dinsdale gave him money through his bank’s PAC. Dinsdale is on record saying he would “always” vote to raise the debt limit.

Before the campaign began, Republicans in Washington were under the impression he would be the Democrat in the race. Rumor was that he was meeting with Democrat consultants. … now, at the end of a bitterly fought race in Nebraska, Dinsdale might win.

Erick Erickson says Osborn has destroyed his last bit of credibility and driven his own negatives so high that he can’t win. With Sasse in the lead, he says, and Osborn and McConnell’s PAC attacking him, Dinsdale is beginning to spend major money. He urges Conservatives to act fast and help Ben Sasse.

Whatever you think of Erickson (I have my reservations about him regarding Sarah Palin), all of this should tell you everything there is to know about how despicable the GOPe is. McConnell would first lose our party and even our country before relinquishing any of his power to us (the Tea Party).

McConnell has led every ill-conceived move to undermine our efforts in the Senate, including doing ZILCH to defund ObamaCare. If re-elected, this nemesis of ours would only be emboldened. (I think his time to fail will come soon as there are many cracks in his RINO ivory tower starting to show.. more to come.)

Smith, cosmetologist for Studio 54, had the honor to be recruited to style Palin’s hair.

“I was a little nervous but more excited,” Smith said. “I had researched her past hair styles, but she kind of told me what she was looking for. She was awesome. A real nice lady. She autographed my product bag.”

Smith was asked on April 17 if she would do the job. She was recommended by Barb Fear, manager of La Quinta Inn and Suites, where Palin was staying.

“I was pretty ecstatic,” Smith said of the request.

She went to the hotel so Palin wouldn’t have to be in the salon. The styling process took about an hour, during which time Palin practiced her speech and asked questions about Nebraska.

“She thought it was neat that Kool-Aid got its start here,” Smith said. “And we talked about beef. Steak is a big thing in Alaska. They eat a lot of caribou.”

Smith is excited to have the story to pass on to her kids and grandkids someday.

“The whole thing was very fun,” Smith said. “I’m glad I got to do it.”  Omaha.com

This picture of Alexandra looks innocuous enough, and you may wonder why I even bothered to publish something that someone has the right to do in the United States, support a candidate they believe in.

This is why:

Mitch McConnell may have infiltrated Tea Party Express via Rand Paul and Sal Russo whose daughter, Alexandra Russo is head of RandPac.

This has consequences (like the primary race in Florida not yet determined but whose outcome is leaning Clawson who bought his way if he wins).  Rand Paul and Mitch McConnell obviously worked together to make it happen via TPX. I may post an update or timeline with all the Tea Party endorsements that ensued which contributed to voter deception in District 19.

Alexandra Russo is young. She is the daughter of Sal Russo of TPX here, firepower and Chief Strategist behind the Tea Party Express which Amy Kremer resigned from last week, immediately following RAND PAUL’s endorsement of Curt Clawson on April 14th, 2014 (four days later). I am suspecting Amy connected the dots. She did not mention Rand Paul in the note on her Facebook wall, which she tweeted, just Mike Lee and Ted Cruz.

More information needs to be revealed so that Tea Party Americans know who does what and for who.  Rand Paul is at a point in his career where he needs money, millions that McConnell and other of our opponents in the GOPe have accumulated. He is blindly ambitious, making him an obvious target for exploitation and corruption by Rinos who hate us.

This ambition is reminiscent of Rubio’s debacle and fallout in 2013 when the base turned on him for lying. The damage he did by deception is irreparable I feel, but  he still has intentions to run by all accounts. Good luck.

Rand Paul may have plans for 2016 but he is clearly helping Establishment RINOS stay in power exchange for personal enrichment and plans for 2016. I’ve been saying this since last year: Rand Paul is about Rand Paul. He could not care less about deceiving voters or fund-raise by hijacking constitutional principles. He has compromised our movement already by portraying himself as an outsider when he is obviously is an opportunist. It is up to voters to see this, especially voters wanting to get rid of GOPe elders.

I would bet $20 and lunch at an expensive restaurant that Amy realized Rand Paul is a phony and that she will NEVER admit to it. It is up to us to figure it out as months pass and events unfold in 2014.

Scam Alert: Sarah’s Not Running for Senate, so DO NOT DONATE to Dan Backer’s Tea Party Leadership Fund

draft sarah scam!!

By Isabel Matos

Sarah is NOT running for Senate!

Yet another article by Lee Stranahan warning unsuspecting Tea Party Americans who make donations in good faith to Tea Party Organizations that a scam is being perpetrated by the Tea Party Leadership Fund. Dan Backer strikes again. This is not new. I published how the funds got intercepted by Backer and eventually ended up in Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn’s campaigns here. Backer is a despicable liar and a cheat who needs to be exposed. Pass this along to your friends and/or anyone you know on or off Facebook. None of this should be taking place. What bothers me about this entire scenario is that RINOS end up enriching themselves off of the very people who want them voted out of power because RINOS want to see them crushed. It’s beyond bothersome. It’s infuriating!

For weeks, I’ve been reporting on how TheTeaParty.net Leadership Fund uses ‘petitions’ and ‘Draft’ schemes as a way to make money and build big mailing lists.

Today, Backer and the TPLF are at it again.

A new email about ‘Draft Sarah Palin’ is a humdinger, with copy written to separate well-meaning patriots from their money, including saying in bold ”you can be a tangible part of saving our nation from slipping into the vast sea of liberal socialism.”

How does sending money to Dan Backer and TheTeaParty.net Leadership Fund accomplish that? It DOESN’T.

Palin isn’t running. She isn’t going to run. And IF she ran, she has a HUGE war chest.

So giving money to the group wont do a thing to stop the sea of liberal socialism but it will make money for TheTea Party.Net Leadership Fund.

Here’s the email in its entirety. Stranahan wants you to see how manipulative it is:

Friend,
Sarah called it!

Obama led the way for Putin’s Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Even before he took the oath of office, Sarah Palin warned us about the disasters to come under Obama’s terrible leadership.

“After the Russian Army invaded the nation of Georgia, Senator Obama’s reaction was one of indecision and moral equivalence, the kind of response that would only encourage Russia’s Putin to invade Ukraine next.” – Sarah Palin, 2008

AND Palin was right…when Obama did nothing, Russia took what they wanted. This proves Obama is nothing more than a weak homeland bully — attacking American citizens and watching freedom around the world burn.

Sarah Palin is the conservative leader we need in the U.S. Senate, NOW.

But her window to commit to this race has almost closed, and that’s why I need you to respond to this request IMMEDIATELY. We need your help to gather the signatures necessary to push Sarah Palin over the top in a critical run for Alaska’s Senate seat in 2014.

CLICK HERE to sign your Draft Sarah Palin petition.

Incumbent liberal Democrat Mark Begich is terrified of an Obama vist to Alaska, because he knows the American people are awakening.

Sarah’s the proven leader we need. She has a better grasp on world politics, and she knows what it means to cherish and protect our American freedoms far better than THE MAN WHO IS SUPPOSED TO BE LEADING THE FREE WORLD.

Last I checked, Mark Begich has spent too much time in Washington D.C. begging the Obama administration for favors rather than representing the good people of Alaska. Send Sarah to replace Begich and stop Obama!

Senator Sarah Palin, this is the name we need to put an end to Barack Obama and Harry Reid’s reign of liberal terror.

The United States Senate rests just outside conservative control, and by electing more Tea Party Heroes to replace the establishment cronies from either party – you can be a tangible part of saving our nation from slipping into the vast sea of liberal socialism.

Now more than ever, we need another Tea Party Hero in the Senate to halt Harry Reid and his pals in their war against our Constitution on issues like amnesty and gun control and our nation’s crushing debt. With Sarah in the Senate, conservatives across America will rest easier at night knowing she’s at the watch.

I need your renewed support today by signing the Tea Party Leadership Fund’s petition to draft Sarah Palin to the U.S. Senate – and I need you to chip in $5 or more to get Sarah’s name on the ballot.

Sarah is the proven Maverick who’s stood up to the special interests in Alaska and has been a tireless advocate for our Tea Party values ever since she hit the national stage.

Sign your name to the petition right now, and make a donation of $5 or more to convince her we’re serious.

Sincerely,

Dan Backer
Tea Party Organizer

P.S. We worked hard to get her attention — now let’s seal the deal. By signing our renewed petition, you make a bold statement — you’re tired of the wishy-washy sellout establishment shills and you’re ready to put a real leader in the Senate next to Ted Cruz and Rand Paul. Follow this link, sign your name to our petition, and help us show Sarah Palin the Tea Party Leadership Fund has her back!

Quick Heads Up! TeaParty.net Leadership Funds are Being Diverted to RINOS McConnell and Cornyn

mcconnell and john

By Isabel Matos

A quick heads up. You may already know this, but if you made a donation to the TeaParty.Net Leadership Fund, your money was diverted to two of the most hideous creatures of the RINO lagoon: Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn. Attorney Dan Baker, the Fund’s treasurer, who intercepts the money, took in over $3.4 million in donations in this election cycle per Lee Stranahan’s article:

How Tea Party Donor Money Went to Establishment Republicans Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn

Follow the money.

How did $20,000 in donations that people thought was going to the “Tea Party Movement” end up in the hands of  establishment Republicans Mitch McConnell & John Cornyn?

The transactions don’t show up on the TeaParty.net Leadership Fund list of candidate expenses. It’s all a matter of public record but it’s been hidden of diverting it through a JFC or Joint Fundraising Committee.

The story was even reported back in 2013 by Roll Call, but went largely unnoticed and Roll Call didn’t catch the connection of attorney Dan Backer to so many groups involved. Roll Call wrote:

A national tea party committee, the Tea Party Leadership Fund (formerly known as the TeaParty.Net Leadership Fund), a hybrid PAC with a noncontribution account, based in Alexandria, Va., contributed $40,000 in May to In Defense of Free Speech JFC, a joint fundraising committee set up in May. The $53,800 in proceeds were split between four candidates, with each getting $13,450. The candidates were McConnell, Cruz, Lee and John Cornyn, R-Texas. The McConnell Senate Committee ’14 was sent $10,950 on June 29 and $2,500 on June 25.

Follow the steps used to send Tea Party donor money to Cornyn & McConnell and note all the connections to Dan Backer and don’t take my word for it: click the links.

When people are urged to donate to The TeaParty.net Leadership Fund, they are told their money to support the Tea Party Movement. Here’s their donation page:

donate

How did money end up in Mitch McConnell and Cornyn’s coffers?

One common link is Virginia attorney Dan Backer, who is the treasurer for The TeaParty.net Leadership Fund, who took in over $3.4 million in donations in this election cycle. Most of the money went to fundraising and ‘unclassifiable’ expenses.

graphi

One of the groups biggest expenditures was $40,000 to a group called In Defense of Free Speech JFC.

jcf

In Defense of Free Speech JFC was originally set up by in 2013 by Dan Backer, who was also the group’s original treasurer. Laster, a woman named Christina Sirois–who works for Backer’s company DB Capitol Strategies

–was named as treasurer. The group was dissolved in February, 2014.

In Defense of Free Speech JFC did one thing in its short life: gave $13,450 each to Mitch McConnell, John Cornyn, Ted Cruz and Mike Lee.

2014-03-05_22-16-55

Where did the money for the In Defense of Free Speech JFCcome group set up by Dan Backer come from?

  • $40,000 came from The TeaParty.net Leadership Fund  – Dan Backer, Treasurer
  • $5000 came from Shaun McCutcheon, a client of Dan Backer’s
  • $5000 came from a group called E Pluribus Unum PAC –  Dan Backer, Treasurer. The group’s only purpose appears to have been to give $5000 to the In Defense of Free Speech JFC
  • $5000 came from a man  Richard Campbell — who was also the sole donor for the E Pluribus Unum PAC set up by Dan Backer

Ironically, Dan Backer was the treasurer for Cornyn’s primary opponent, Rep. Steve Stockman, who got $2,500 from The TeaParty.net Leadership Fund.

This means that John Cornyn’s $10,000 take was four times what Stockman.

Just follow the arrows on this flowchart I mad.

Kentucky: Your Primary is Our National Business. Time to Send McConnell Packing! Levin Endorses Matt Bevin.

By Isabel Matos

The Great One, Mark Levin, endorses Matt Bevin, primary candidate running against Senate Minority Leader, Mitch McConnell, for Kentucky U.S. Senate.

Enough of the status quo and politicians who claim to be Tea Party leaders who continue selling us out. I’ve published clips and rants about Rand Paul ad nauseaum. I am not here to disparage him, but to show the implications of what his half-hearted, “soft” and veiled support of the Tea Party will mean for us nationally. If it was good for Rubio, it’s good for him. Why should he be exempt from criticism? He’s just as devious, if not more. And the stakes are even higher now.

There’s not much passion in this primary for some reason. It’s as if McConnell’s fate was sealed. He is definitely being protected by Rand Paul. Nothing sickens me more than Paul’s duplicity and cheap talk about the party having to be “softer”, be more diplomatic in foreign policy, evolve and adapt, reach out to illegals .. or my favorite, be one big happy family. He’s a RINO already, get it?!

There is nothing special about Rand Paul.

Rand Paul said he wouldn’t get involved in incumbent races yet undermines Matt Bevin over a minor Tarp issue, and dismisses McConnell’s remarks about “crushing the Tea Party everywhere” Rand Paul’s reply? “Things are said in campaigns that are not intended”, and “The Tea Party is the energy of the Republican Party and a big factor in elections.” That’s it. He continued the interview advocating for healthy intra-party debate on a civilized plane so “Democrats don’t take advantage”.  As a reminder, Washington Times reported:

In a rare moment of candor for a career politician, Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) told the New York Times last week that his goal is to defeat conservative candidates across the country.  McConnell vowed to “crush them everywhere.

[On March 13th] former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin endorsed two of the candidates that Mitch McConnell is trying to “crush.”

Palin announced her support for college president Ben Sasse in Nebraska and state senator Chris McDaniel in Mississippi.

The Times also reported that McConnell’s goal “is to deny them any Senate primary victories, cut into their fund-raising and diminish them as a future force in Republican politics.”

So far Sarah has not endorsed Matt, but she has endorsed Chris McDaniel and Ben Sasse who McConnell has targeted.  May 20th is almost around the corner but polling has shown Bevin hasn’t been able to surpass McConnell once.

  mcconnell vs bevin

Kentuckians are not believing Matt Bevin is fighting against the abuse of money behind certain pet projects for his state enough, and spending too much time talking about ObamaCare.  The problem is… dear Kentucky voters:

THIS race does affect us nationally more than any other because of Mitch’s Senate leadership position. Rand Paul’s endorsement of McConnell has done the most damage to your state, and to us. Be objective. See what is going on. Bevin isn’t perfect and he’s perceived as the weak horse in this race but it is because of the effect of the Establishment Media depicting him negatively.

In any case, Bevin said on Mark Levin’s show he had a chance to win. He believes “it is within our reach and that all he needs is the right kind of firepower” to give his campaign the edge to beat Mitch. If you’re from Kentucky, please let Bevin know if he wants a game-changer he is going to have to court Sarah for an endorsement. As it stands, he doesn’t seem to get it.  There is NO indication he has done so, and even if he did at this point, I don’t think Sarah would endorse him because he is a bit vague in his stances and Sarah likes steel spine winner types!

fundsWhatever you think of  MattBevin.com  just remember what Mitch vowed to do to the Tea Party. McConnell has over $10,000,000 to spend on making us want to stop the fight. Quit. It will only embolden him further if he gets his way. 30 years of the Kentucky establishment is Enough! (It’s enough anywhere!) Rand Paul getting a pass for betraying voters by supporting the most powerful Establishment RINO to serve himself – also Enough! The Pauls and their contributions to Election losses? Enough!! (Image by Politico)

Rand Paul’s heart is NOT with the Tea Party but with himself. He will never be president and helping McConnell will help secure a solid position for himself in the party in the future. He’s playing the game at the expense of the rest of us. There is little daylight between Rand Paul and Mitch McConnell. But even if Bevin is not perfect, he would still not be in a position to hurt us like McConnell has.

 sarah and mcconnell

If Sarah can’t do anything about this race directly, no one can.

I was hoping for a real fight!

I admire Bevin for at least taking on the Bad Guy from the Good Old Boys club, the one Rand has joined like so many others, but I don’t think Bevin has a chance in heck to win. I do pray the candidates McConnell is after (Ben Sasse and Chris McDaniel) will. The Status Quo “Junior” and “Senior” Senators from Kentucky are the worst things to have happened to GOP politics in a long while (maybe two months there are so many pathetic headlines) but the silver lining in all of this is that in the end we may prevail anyway if McConnell loses to Grimes.
It’s completely possible. We can afford one less Senate seat if we have other Senators win. I think that IS the Palin strategy. The other silver lining is that people are starting to wake and see Rand Paul for who he is. He will be forever known for having been the guy who endorsed the Senator who wanted to crush us, Tea Party Americans, and did nothing about it. It won’t be forgotten and he, too, will have to pay consequences like Rubio did. I so hope.
Matt Bevin spoke at a FREEPAC event today:
