Hate-mongering Obama regime employee Ayo Kimathi wants a race war, hates gays.

Obama’s crew [especially the ones at Homeland Security] have been calling patriotic Americans: members of the United States military, and the Tea Party “terrorists” but as it turns out, it’s their own people who are the terrorists.

This racist Obama employee, whose website was approved by his supervisors at DHS, says he wants to “kill a lot of whites” among other things.

Governor Palin appeared with Greta on Friday night, and talked about the racist hate-mongering Department of Homeland Security employee Ayo Kimathi:

So, the Federal Government, er, We The People, are employing someone at the Department of Homeland Security whose side job is running a hate website advocating ethnic cleansing and other despicable acts?! This official is promoting a race war. His fellow employees say they’re “astounded” he is employed by the taxpayers. His side “job” running the “War On the Horizon” website was reportedly approved by supervisors. Really, Fed? Really?

A Department of Homeland Security manager in charge of buying weapons and ammunition for the government is, on the side, running an inflammatory website that throws around gay slurs and advocates the mass murder of “whites” and the “ethnic cleansing” of “Uncle Tom race traitors,” according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Ayo Kimathi, who calls himself the “Irritated Genie,” told his supervisors that the website was set up to sell concert and lecture videos.

But the report showed the site’s content strayed far beyond concert promotion, warning about a coming race war. His website, “War on the Horizon,” declares, “in order for Black people to survive the 21st century, we are going to have to kill a lot of whites – more than our Christian hearts can possibly count,” the Alabama-based SPLC said in its report.

One of Kimathi’s former supervisors at DHS told SPLC’s Hatewatch that, “Everybody is the office is afraid of him,” and that his co-workers are “afraid he will come in with a gun and someday go postal.”

The supervisor, who was not named, continued, “I am astounded he’s employed by the federal government, let alone Homeland Security.”

Kimathi, who works for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which is a division of DHS, reportedly got the go-ahead from the government to create and maintain his website.

That’s because as a law enforcement agency employee, he is required to get permission in writing if he engages in outside activities which includes everything from working a second job to volunteering.

The SPLC says Kimathi obtained official permission but did it by misrepresenting the true nature of his site.

“He told management that it was an entertainment website selling videos of concerts and lectures,” the report said. “He called it simply WOH, never saying that WOH stood for War on the Horizon.”

ICE spokeswoman Gillian Christensen said in a written statement that the agency “does not condone any type of hateful rhetoric or advocacy of violence of any kind against anyone.”

It is not known what disciplinary actions, if any, will be taken against Kimathi.

“Every ICE employee is held to the highest standard of professional and ethical conduct. Accusations of misconduct are investigated thoroughly and if substantiated, appropriate actions in taken,” she said.

Kimathi’s site even includes President Obama, who is technically his boss, on its own enemies list.

According to the WOH website, the organization was “created for the purpose of preparing black people worldwide for an unavoidable, inevitable clash with the white race. Whites around the world are absolutely determined to exterminate Afrikan people in all corners of the earth.”

The mission statement also claims to prepare blacks intellectually, spiritually, psychologically and physically for “a global clash that will mean the end of white rule on this planet or the end of the black race as we know it.”

As of Saturday morning this hate filled Obama employee is on paid leave, pending an investigation.

Governor Palin also talks with Greta about Ashton Kutcher’s statement about hard work, praising him greatly, and also talks about a Senate run. She says she has absolutely no plans to run, but never closes any doors to opportunities to serve.

But TO HELL With Brian Terry and the Hundreds of Innocent Dead Mexicans!

In the wake of the mass murders facilitated by President Barack Obama and his Attorney General Eric Holder, we’ve seen the democrats take extraordinary measures to deflect attention away from these crimes against humanity.

What is the worst presidential scandal in U S history, has been politicized by the democrats, hoping to muddy the waters. You have classless jackasses like Obama super-donor Bill Maher saying things like “Republicans don’t care about dead Mexicans.” And then there is Juan Williams, who when confronted by the panel on The Five about murdered border patrol agent Brian Terry, said “Hey, people die.”:

Then you have House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, who lead a walkout of democrats, during the vote to hold Eric Holder both civilly and criminally in contempt of Congress.

Pelosi, couldn’t even bring herself to say agent Brian Terry’s name correctly, even with notes in hand:

The democrats have proven they don’t give a damn about Brian Terry or Jaime Zapata, an ICE agent who may also have been murdered by the guns the Obama regime put in the hands of narco-terrorists. They most certainly don’t give a damn about the hundreds of dead Mexicans.

You can imagine how I felt when our friend Ray sent us the following article. While the democrats can’t be bothered by the mass murder of hundreds of innocent Mexicans, or the capital murder of two federal agents, they have written a letter demanding an investigation into the death of an illegal alien.

Anastasio Hernández-Rojas was killed while fighting border agents who were in the process of deporting him after he illegally entered the United States.

Sixteen members of Congress are calling for an investigation into the death of Anastasio Hernandez Rojas after a PBS documentary aired last month that raised questions about just how involved the Border Patrol was in the illegal immigrant’s killing.

The letters sent yesterday to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, Attorney General Eric Holder and the Homeland Security Office of the Inspector General ask the federal government to take another look and claim that the Department of Justice has been taking too long to handle the case.

Hernandez Rojas was allegedly tased and beaten to death by U.S. Border Patrol agents two years ago after a fight broke out as he was being returned to the border.

The agency has defended the use of force by its agents, maintaining that Hernandez Rojas’ behavior was “combative” enough to necessitate the use of batons and the stun gun, the Huffington Post reported.

But footage from the PBS documentary claims that Hernandez Rojas was surrounded by more than a dozen agents, hogtied and pleading for help before he was tased.

Luz Rojas, the mother of the Mexican native, has been in the U.S. this week, asking officials to investigate further into the incident.

Advocacy groups including Presente.org and their supporters have gathered in eight cities across the U.S. protesting what they say is the government’s egregious lack of action two years after the incident, according to the Huffington Post.

“The disturbing footage and eye-witness accounts that aired on PBS raise serious questions about the Border Patrol’s role in the death of Anastasio Hernandez Rojas and after two years, we owe it to his family to finally provide some definitive answers,” Rep. Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-Calif.), said in a news release.

Congresswoman Roybal-Allard was one of those who walked out as the House voted to hold Attorney General Holder in contempt.

Reading the Yahoo article it sounds like a lovable Hernández-Rojas was murdered by rogue agents, but the New Your Times, of all places, has a little more information. It seems Hernández-Rojas attacked the agents and they were trying to subdue him: [emphasis mine]

San Diego Police Investigate the Death of a Mexican Man Resisting Deportation

LOS ANGELES — The San Diego police are investigating the death of a Mexican man who was struck with a baton and shocked with a stun gun by federal officers as he resisted being deported. The Mexican government and a human rights group condemned the death, which comes after Mexico has condemned Arizona’s tough new immigration enforcement law.

The police said Anastacio Hernández-Rojas, 32, was struck and stunned by several officers from the Border Patrol and Customs and Border Protection on Saturday as they were trying to subdue him.

He had been detained by the Border Patrol on Friday east of San Diego after he crossed into the United States from Mexico with his brother. He was taken to a Border Patrol station and, as is customary with Mexican nationals without a criminal record, signed papers agreeing to be quickly deported without a hearing.

He was taken in a van to the San Ysidro border crossing, 15 miles south of downtown San Diego, where officers planned to walk him to a gate and release him to Mexican immigration authorities.

But as they removed his handcuffs about 25 feet from the gate, Mr. Hernández-Rojas began fighting with officers, said Capt. Jim Collins of the San Diego Police Department, which is investigating the case under an agreement it has with Customs and Border Protection for deaths involving officers.

One officer struck him with a baton, and another fired a Taser, Captain Collins said.

Shortly afterward, the officers discovered that Mr. Hernández-Rojas was not breathing, administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation and called for an ambulance. He was taken to a local hospital and died after a short time on life support, Captain Collins said.

Customs and Border Protection released a statement saying the man “became combative,” leading officers to use the Taser to “subdue the individual and maintain officer safety.” The agency, which is also investigating the death, declined to comment further.

The San Diego medical examiner is investigating the cause of death. It was not known if Mr. Hernández-Rojas had underlying medical problems, but an autopsy will determine that, Captain Collins said.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m NOT saying this incident shouldn’t be investigated, and if the agents are found to have done something wrong, they should be punished. But let’s look at this from the officers prospective. The border with Mexico is a dangerous place. Narco-terrorists regularly fire on American agents. American agents have been killed.

The number of dangerous criminals, with or without “records,” who sneak across the border is high.

The regular cop on the street in Anytown, USA has to be on his toes, even when making a traffic stop, because you never know who is behind the wheel. For border agents, it’s even more dangerous. They are dealing with criminals who have already broken the law, many who feel they have nothing to lose. The brave men and women who protect our borders put their lives on the live every single day.

In the case of Hernández-Rojas, you have someone who signed papers agreeing to be deported, rather than go to jail. I would imagine the officers felt this was a routine deal, until Hernández-Rojas attacked them. When someone attacks not one, but a group of armed police officers, you gotta figure they are crazy, desperate, and dangerous. The agents were lucky none of them were injured.

But that’s not the point of this article. The point is, the democrat party and the liberal media, is more concerned with the unfortunate death of a criminal who attacked law enforcement officials, than the murder of hundreds of innocent Mexicans, and two of our finest and bravest.

It’s simply maddening. But protecting our lawless President and his equally lawless Attorney General, is more important to democrats than the lives of innocent people.

The Obama regime has in it’s employ a convicted domestic terrorist. A bomber. I know what you are thinking, but no, it’s not Obama’s best buddy Bill Ayers.

Looking at his record, Brett Kimberlin seems to be a new and improved version, and frankly, a lot more dangerous.

What you are about to read, besides a brief history of this dangerous killer, is the story of systematic harassment, including death threats, to anyone who has exposed him. We have people who have lost their jobs, because their employers were worried about having someone hunted by a convicted terrorist working for them. We have another prominent Conservative who has packed up his family and gone underground after receiving death threats.

There is a lot out there on this guy. His main job for the regime seems to be harassing bloggers with death threats and other actions. Before we get into that, let’s take a quick look at who this terrorist is.

Vadum gives more background on the terrorist, and reports that well respected Conservative blogger Robert Stacy McCain, who wrote an exposé on Kimberlin, has taken his family and gone underground. The terrorist actually phoned McCain’s wife’s workplace. That would scare the hell out of anyone.

Exactly…Brett Kimberlin knows where I live; it’s an implicit threat. You can look at Brett Kimberlin’s record as a convicted terrorist. He conspired to kill the prosecuting attorney and at least one key witness in the case against him. That’s according to the Indianapolis Star. You can look it up. You know these are facts that are unrefuted. When someone like that indicates that they know where you live, the threat is implicit. I’m not going to be there anymore. I mean we’re gone. We’re history. We’re out of there.

Before he went underground, Stacy McCain wrote a piece noting that Tides gave this murdering domestic terrorist, and Obama employee, $70,000. Barbara Streisand gave the killer $10,000, and Teressa Heinz Kerry gave him $20,000.

More notable are screen captures of tweets harassing fellow Conservative blogger Greg Howard, with various Obama supporters promising to have sex with his young children. This is seriously evil, and I warn you, quite graphic, but again, a must read.

BTW, you know who warned America about the terrorist? From October of last year.

There’s no way to sugar coat this. These are the same tactics used in Nazi Germany, just updated for the modern age. This is not some random nut either. This is an employee of Barack Obama. He is funded by the crème de la crème of the democrat party. He’s out there registering voters and pushing the regime’s agenda.

This man should have never been released from prison. He doesn’t belong in polite society. He’s a terrorist who is still terrifying American citizens. He’s doing this on behalf of the Obama regime.

This man is phoning in death threats, and his minions are harassing those who expose him, including threatening to rape their children in front of them!

I’ve stated in no uncertain terms that Barack Obama and his Attorney General, Eric Holder, should spend the rest of their lives in prison. They are already accessories to mass murder with their Fast and Furious program. Now this.

I know the feckless Republican Party doesn’t have the guts to have Obama removed from office, and imprisoned. They can’t even get their act together on Eric Holder, who is as guilty as they come.

The American people cannot stand by while this sort of domestic terrorism is allowed to continue unchecked. It’s like we elected Bill Ayers and the rest of the 60s radicals along with Obama.

The American people must demand Barack Obama be held accountable for his actions. Just beating him in November isn’t good enough. He and many members of the regime have committed serious crimes. Their actions have already led hundreds of murders in Mexico, and the murder of at least two federal agents, a capital crime. This is unacceptable.

Of course, we must get this animal, Brett Kimberlin, off the streets. He is a proven danger. A convicted terrorist.

Obama himself signed onto the Patriot Act, and has even said it’s OK to kill American citizens guilty of terrorism. [without due process] I’m not sure I’m for that, but I will say Brett Kimberlin is exactly the sort of terrorist who should already be in chains and on his way to sunny, GITMO, where he can finish out his days.

This Obama regime employee is conducting a direct assault on the first amendment. He is going to extreme measures to shut anyone up who dare dissent. These totalitarian tactics are part and parcel of the democrat party mindset.

Long gone are the days of the reasonable democrat. The party has been complete taken over by the most radical elements of society, and is only getting more radical and unhinged each and every day.

Several things must happen here. First, Brett Kimberlin must be arrested and taken off the streets. Anyone who has been a part of his terror activities must be arrested as accomplices. Get this animal and his cohorts off the streets for good.

Second, voters need to wake the hell up. It’s time to defeat Barack Obama and every democrat and democrat sympathizer up for re-election.

We need strong leaders who will put a stop to these Neo-Nazi, Alinsky on steroids, terror tactics. We need people who, even after Obama is soundly defeated in November, will be ready to bring charges against him.

Obama has committed real crimes, and real people are dead. This can’t stand. Obama has sanctioned Brett Kimberlin and his activities. He must be held accountable for this and well.

This is asking readers to take risks, but damn it, sometimes you must put some skin in the game. Readers need to raise hell with their Congressmen and Senators. Until Obama and Brett Kimberlin, as well as the rest are in custody, raise holy hell with everyone who can, in turn, raise hell on your behalf.

Obama and Brett Kimberlin are a direct threat to the American way of life. We’ve had domestic terrorists, who have bombed public buildings and murdered American citizens , before. See Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. But we have NEVER had a domestic terrorist in the employ of the President of the United States.

This is the kind of crap that goes on in banana republics, not America.

Obama is a two-bit Chicago street thug who has brought that way of life to the American people as a whole. It’s unacceptable and cannot be tolerated any longer.

I got into an argument last night with a large group of Conservatives who are highly upset that Mitt Romney is the nominee, and went on and on telling me how Romney is “exactly like Obama.”

Knowing what Obama has been up to, that’s not even debatable. Mitt Romney would never send guns to Mexican drug lords, making himself an accessory to mass murder. Mitt Romney would never hire a murdering domestic terrorist and allow him to make numerous death threats to dissenters.

If you are one of those who are still pissing and moaning about the outcome of the GOP primaries, my advice to you is: Pull your head out of your ass!

Barack Obama and those he surrounds himself with are the most dangerous people in America. Making sure Obama is defeated in November is every American’s responsibility. To sit on your ass and not do EVERYTHING in your power to make sure this happens is hateful to me.

Obama must go, but more importantly, the Republican leadership needs to grow a pair, and make an example out of him and members of the regime who have committed such heinous crimes.

This cannot be allowed to stand.

The Obama Administration is working on regulations that would prevent children from working on our own family farms. This is more overreach of the federal government with many negative consequences. And if you think the government’s new regs will stop at family farms, think again.

My family is a commercial fishing family, and commercial fishing in Alaska is much like the family farm (but the year ’round farmers no doubt work harder than we do!). I guarantee fishing families wouldn’t stand for this nonsensical intrusion into our lives and livelihoods, and, as a former 4-H member, I don’t believe farm families will either. Our kids learn to work and to help feed America on our nation’s farms, and out on the water.

Federal government: get your own house in order and stop interfering in ours.

In the schlockumentary Game Change Julianne Moore ridiculously portrays Sarah Palin curled up on the floor in the fetal position. Obviously an inaccurate portrayal, but looking at Obama and the fear generated by the mere mention of Sarah’s name in his presence, I know where the writers of that garbage got the story idea.

New AFP Ad: Obama Regime Asked Solyndra to Hold Up Layoffs Until After 2010 Elections, Jake Tapper Hardest Hit

Jake Tapper really carries the Obama regime’s water as he attacks Americans for Prosperity the group that has created an ad that is scheduled to start running around the time of President Obama’s State of the Union speech.

Tapper drones on forever about the Koch brothers and so on, trying to take focus off the fact Solyndra is an abject failure, and Obama asked them to hold off firing workers until after the 2010 mid-term elections. A cold blooded political calculation intended to fool the American people and save some democrats from political annihilation at the polls.

While Tapper whines, here’s the meat of the subject: [emphasis mine]

The ad depicts the president as giving “Solyndra half a billion in taxpayer money. Politics as usual. Within the administration, the company’s potential collapse had long been discussed. Knowing all along Solyndra would have to fire their workers. But Solyndra held off until after the 2010 elections.”

That White House officials “knew all along” that Solyndra would have to fire their workers isn’t true. The ad is referring to an email released two months ago indicating that an adviser to the company’s main investor, Argonaut Equity, wrote on Oct. 30, 2010, that officials from the Department of Energy “did push very hard for us to hold our announcement” of layoffs “to Nov. 3rd – oddly they didn’t give a reason for that date.”…

Seriously? Like nothing big was happening on November 3? One really has to be dumb not to figure out why the regime wanted that information held. I don’t think Tapper is dumb. Just in the bag for Obama.

Here’s more:

The ad says: “1,100 workers had no idea that they would be fired, but the Obama administration knew. All that mattered was the 2010 election – ‘optics,’ not workers.”

While it may be that White House officials wanted the announcement to be made after the November 2010 elections – the only proof of that is that one e-mail, and the White House denies the charge — the layoffs that were announced were not as AFP describes. What is true: the day after the 2010 elections, on November 3, Solyndra announced it would lay end its contracts with more than 100 contractors, lay off 40 employees, and close one of its factories.

I bet the regime does deny the charge!

Yeah, the ad does make it seem all of the layoffs come at once, but so what. The facts are the facts, no matter how bad Tapper tries to make it sound like they aren’t.

Solyndra was a massive failure. The principles involved in the company were Obama cronies. They should have never been given a loan in the first place. No responsible lender would have touched this bunch with a 10 ft pole!

Though Tapper claims there is no evidence of foul play, Bloomberg’s Jim Snyder begs to differ: [emphasis mine]

The Obama administration knew before the 2010 election that Solyndra LLC, a solar-panel maker that received a $535 million U.S. loan guarantee, planned to fire workers, according to e-mails released today.

The messages don’t indicate that anyone from the White House directed Solyndra to delay announcing the layoffs until after the vote. Previously released e-mails, indicating the Energy Department urged Solyndra to postpone the cuts, have been cited by House Republicans who say politics influenced Solyndra’s award and last-ditch rescue bid that put taxpayers behind $75 million in private investment.

“Here’s the deal — Solyndra is going to announce they are laying off 200 of their 1200 workers,” Heather Zichal, a White House adviser, wrote to Carol Browner, then director of the office of Energy and Climate Change Policy, and other officials on Oct. 27, 2010. “No es bueno.”

If your Spanish is rusty, “No es bueno” roughly translates to “is no good.”

Very disappointed in Jake Tapper, but it just goes to show you, when push comes to shove, the left wing media is going to do all of the Obama regime’s heavy lifting.

Obama and his cronies should all go to prison for what they have done to this country. It’s nothing less than wholesale theft. The regime has stolen taxpayer money and given it to cronies. Cronies who were totally unqualified to be in the business the loans were made to.

Until we get serious and start throwing corrupt politicians and their underlings in prison, and start going after their cronies as well, nothing is ever going to change. Oh, people will hoot and holler, some congresscritter will “investigate” but nothing real will happen.

America deserves better than this, and Americans need to get off their butts and demand it!

No, Bain Didn’t Advise the Obama Regime on the Automobile Bailout

Woke up this morning to a ton of stories that show the attacks on Mitt Romney, capitalism, and the American way of life, are full of misinformation and out and out lies. One of those is the one about Bain & Company helping out the Obama regime as they screwed the American automobile business, ripping off investors, and giving part of the businesses to union thugs.

It seems it was Bain Consulting not Bain & Company who joined hands with the regime. This company has no connection to Bail & Company whatsoever.

A previous story incorrectly reported that Mitt Romney’s former firm, Bain & Co., was part of a team of consulting companies that advised President Barack Obama on a decision to shutter car dealerships during the auto bailout.

Bain & Co. said it has no connection to the “Bain Consulting” firm referenced in government documents.

There are many reasons to not like Mitt Romney. His time at Bain Capital isn’t one of them. Making stuff up about it is just pathetic. And CNBC is a sloppy news organization.

Sarah Palin: “Smoking Gun” in Fast & Furious?

Sarah Palin just released a new Facebook post. One of the early comments on her page, from a W Tucker Keene caught my eye:

Watergate didn’t have a body count.

That one statement sums this entire situation up, and offers up the remedy, perfectly.

It’s been long held that this little project from the Obama regime was nothing more than a grand scheme to create an excuse to create gun control legislation that would destroy most Americans’ Second Amendment rights.

Progressives [in both parties] never sleep. They always plan, always advance their positions. One can never take their eyes off of them.

(And in my humble opinion, I do believe the anti-2nd Amendment characters working in the Obama administration purposefully used their Fast & Furious gun walking operation to propose more gun control regulations.)

ATF officials didn’t intend to publicly disclose their own role in letting Mexican cartels obtain the weapons, but emails show they discussed using the sales, including sales encouraged by ATF, to justify a new gun regulation called “Demand Letter 3”. That would require some U.S. gun shops to report the sale of multiple rifles or “long guns.” Demand Letter 3 was so named because it would be the third ATF program demanding gun dealers report tracing information.

On July 14, 2010 after ATF headquarters in Washington D.C. received an update on Fast and Furious, ATF Field Ops Assistant Director Mark Chait emailed Bill Newell, ATF’s Phoenix Special Agent in Charge of Fast and Furious:

“Bill – can you see if these guns were all purchased from the same (licensed gun dealer) and at one time. We are looking at anecdotal cases to support a demand letter on long gun multiple sales. Thanks.”

On Jan. 4, 2011, as ATF prepared a press conference to announce arrests in Fast and Furious, Newell saw it as “(A)nother time to address Multiple Sale on Long Guns issue.” And a day after the press conference, Chait emailed Newell: “Bill–well done yesterday… (I)n light of our request for Demand letter 3, this case could be a strong supporting factor if we can determine how many multiple sales of long guns occurred during the course of this case.”

This revelation angers gun rights advocates. Larry Keane, a spokesman for National Shooting Sports Foundation, a gun industry trade group, calls the discussion of Fast and Furious to argue for Demand Letter 3 “disappointing and ironic.” Keane says it’s “deeply troubling” if sales made by gun dealers “voluntarily cooperating with ATF’s flawed ‘Operation Fast & Furious’ were going to be used by some individuals within ATF to justify imposing a multiple sales reporting requirement for rifles.”

The Gun Dealers’ Quandary

Several gun dealers who cooperated with ATF told CBS News and Congressional investigators they only went through with suspicious sales because ATF asked them to.

Sometimes it was against the gun dealer’s own best judgment.

Texas Lawmakers to Reconsider Criminalizing Airport Pat Downs

If you remember, a month ago Texas was working on legislation that would make invasive pat-downs by the TSA, without probable cause, a crime.

Like everyone, I’m all for making air travel safe, but the idea of patting down babies and grandmas, as well as groping hot chicks, just doesn’t seem to be the best use of resources. Especially since we are told profiling is bad.

You understand profiling means you target those who are actually more likely to be up to no good. In the name of political correctness, we are now saying EVERYONE is guilty, until proven innocent. That pretty much violates the 4th Amendment protections against illegal search and seizure, as well as the very foundation our legal system is built on.

I often wonder why someone doesn’t ask the Israelis to work with us on a real system to keep airline passengers and crew safe. They are quite effective.

Makes more sense than to have a bunch of government drones playing grab ass with everyone.

It was less than a month ago at the Dallas, TX airport where former Miss USA Susie Castillo tearfully produced a viral video describing the molestation she had just then endured at the hands of a TSA agent. “I mean, she actually… touched my vagina,” Castillo said through her tears. “They’re making me… choose to either get molested… or go through this machine that’s completely unhealthy and dangerous. I don’t want to go through it, and here I am crying.”

Castillo isn’t the only person who would be protected under this Texas legislation. All other innocent travelers would likewise be shielded. That includes the six year old girl who made the headlines last month for being groped by a TSA agent (an action which the TSA defended as being alright since it “followed the current standard operating procedures“), as well as the eight-month-old infant subjected to a pat down while cradled in the arms of her mother.

The 10th Amendment Center also reports the Obama regime threatened to make Texas a “no-fly zone” if the legislation was passed, causing legislators to re-think their plan. You can read the whole report here.

WOAI out of San Antonio reports that Texas Governor Rick Perry has put this legislation on the special session’s agenda:

Texas lawmakers will reconsider a bill that would criminalize ‘enhanced pat downs’ by Transportation Security Administration agents at the state’s airports, after Gov. Rick Perry placed the item on the agenda for the current special session of the legislature following intense pressure from conservatives and tea party groups.

“I am grateful that the governor heard the calls of the people demanding that lawmakers stand up for the liberties of Texans,” said Wesley Strackbein, a conservative activist and founder of’ TSA Tyranny.com‘. Strackbein Saturday traveled to New Orleans to confront Perry at a book signing event and demand that the item be placed on the legislative agenda.

The bill would make it the crime of official oppression, a Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in prison of a $4,000 fine, for a TSA agent to ‘touch the anus, sexual organ, buttocks, or breast of another person, even thought that person’s clothing’ for the purpose of ‘granting access to a building or a form of transportation.’

The measure passed the Texas House during the regular session but was pulled off the floor without a vote during the regular session after U.S. Attorney John Murphy circulated a letter to Senators warning that the TSA has the authority to prevent airplanes from taking off from Texas airports if the agency cannot certify that they are safe.

The bill’s chief sponsor, freshman State Representative David Simpson, says he has the support needed to pass the bill, pointing out that 121 of the 181 members of the Texas Legislature, Democrat and Republican, have signed on as co sponsors.

“This is your opportunity to show America that you have what it takes to lead this state and the nation by enforcing the Constitution of this state and the United States which both protect innocent people from unreasonable searches of their person by their own government,” Simpson said in an ‘open letter’ to Perry.

Murphy said in his letter to Senators that if this bill were passed, the ‘supremacy clause’ of the U.S. Constitution would require that the courts void it.

Under Texas law, only the governor can place items on the agenda during a special called session.

The issue has taken on greater magnitude as Perry is emerging as a potential Republican Presidential candidate who is speaking to GOP groups nationwide to criticize what he sees as the ’overreach’ of the Obama Administration into the affairs of states and of private citizens.

Strackbein confronted Perry about the issue as he was signing copies of his book, entitled, “Fed Up! Our Fight to Save America from Washington.”

“Texans don’t want to see their wives and their mothers and their children groped without probable cause,” Strackbein said. “In the name of safety, we have thrown liberty out the window. It’s a fool’s bargain, and we don’t want to play the fool.“
