This op-ed by Governor Palin originally appeared in the Texas Tribune and she posted a note on Facebook :
It’s always a pleasure returning to the beautiful Lone Star State. This week I’m in Houston speaking with the industrious men and women of America’s oil patch at the North American Prospect Expo. These are the unsung heroes of our nation’s energy renaissance.
In the brutal economic environment of the last six years, one sector had good news to report, and it came straight out of America’s oil patch. From 2007 to 2012, employment in the energy industry rose a dramatic 31.6 percent while employment nationwide fell 2.7 percent. U.S. oil production increased from 6.5 million barrels per day in 2012 to 7.4 million barrels per day in 2013, and in December, the Eagle Ford Shale in South Texas produced its billionth barrel of oil. Thanks to American energy entrepreneurs’ drive and innovation, we’ve surpassed Russia and Saudi Arabia to become the world’s largest oil and gas producer. This truly is a great American success story, and it’s a proud moment for those of us determined to educate D.C. bureaucrats on the link between energy and our security and prosperity.
Apparently, the president is pretty proud, too. In his State of the Union address last month, he boasted about the surge in oil and gas drilling, saying, “We are as free from the grip of foreign oil as we’ve been in almost 30 years.” From the way he’s talking, you’d think he coined the phrase “drill, baby, drill.” But it was just three years ago while campaigning in Miami that he lectured, “We can’t just drill our way to lower gas prices.” Respectfully, Mr. President, “yes we can.” And yes we did. Average gas prices were well over $3 in 2012, but in the first months of 2015, they’re near $2, with some states enjoying even lower prices.
Despite his newfound appreciation for drilling, the president fails to mention that most production is on private and state lands out of his control rather than on federal lands he can over-regulate and lock up. In fact, under the Obama administration, natural gas production on federal lands — onshore and offshore — has fallen an astonishing 28 percent while production on private and state lands, many sitting atop prolific shale plays like the Bakken and Eagle Ford, thankfully increased by 33 percent. Similarly, under Obama, oil production on federal lands has fallen 6 percent but increased by 61 percent on nonfederal lands.
Though they like to take credit for this energy renaissance, politicians weren’t the ones who searched the shale formations for resources to extract. It was our private sector, and its responsible use of hydraulic fracturing and horizontal drilling, that spearheaded the shale gas surge.
Our nation is blessed with the natural resources, the knowledge and the workforce to now take this energy renaissance to the next level. What we lack is the political leadership and courage to do so. T. Boone Pickens summed up the problem by observing that “a five-minute conversation on energy can’t happen in Washington, because within three minutes, you’ve run out of everything they know.” The private sector’s natural adversary has always been the market forces of supply and demand, so the last thing it needs is the artificial adversarial forces of political machinations.
Alaskans understand both of these frustrations. We know the challenges of wildly fluctuating oil prices. During the heyday of our trans-Alaska oil pipeline, oil prices were high, the boom was on and state government spent fast. Then the bottom fell out: $9 per barrel. Alaskans drove around with bumper stickers that read, “Dear God, give us another oil boom and we promise not to piss it away this time.” Alaskans also know the frustration of fighting against politicians in D.C. who constantly attempt to lock up huge swaths of our resource-rich Arctic land and water. Just last month, the Obama administration released a plan to potentially expand offshore drilling in Virginia and the Carolinas while placing millions of acres in Alaska off limits to future development. The president’s advisers would have you believe he’s being pragmatic, but to those in Houston and Anchorage, it looks like pretzel logic.
If the administration sincerely wanted to help our domestic energy sector, it would lift the four-decade-old ban on exporting crude oil. American producers shouldn’t have to beg permission of our own government to export our resources while the White House negotiates increased oil exports with Iran. For an administration not shy about acting on its own, it has no excuse to ignore this and not even consider lifting the ban. I challenge the watchdog press to ask why this is so.
The energy sector has been a star athlete, and Washington is scrambling on the sidelines, unaware of how to react. Let’s remind them that our government is supposed to work for us, not get in our way. Let’s tell them, “Just watch.” Watch how America’s oil patch fuels our nation’s economic engine. Watch how continued investment, innovation, exploration and production allow the U.S. to remain the global economic powerhouse. Watch the men and women of America’s new energy boomtowns in states like Texas show the bureaucrats in D.C. that no matter what roadblocks are placed in their way, they’ll find a way through and build a stronger America.
Besides the facts Governor Palin always brings to the table, the most interesting thing, to me, is where the appeared originally. The Texas Tribune is based in Austin, Texas and is as far left in it’s editorial content as can be. Kudos to the Tribune for hosting the Governor’s op-ed and allowing it to be seen by an audience that wouldn’t normally take the time to read anything Palin writes. Now let the further speculation regarding 2016 begin!
Memorial dedicated to the four who were murdered in the Florida Straits.
Here are their names and a brief summary about what really happened.
And here are the thugs released who were responsible for their murder:
In his announcement last Wednesday, December 17th, President Barack Obama referred to the three men pictured above who were arrested after the shoot down (murder) of the Brothers to the Rescue pilots simply as “Cuban agents“, noting they had served more than 15 years in prison. (Talk about audacity!)
Labañino and Guerrero originally got life sentences on espionage charges, but later were re-sentenced by a court to 30 years and about 22 years, respectively… Gerardo Hernández, convicted in 2001, was serving a lifetime sentence for conspiracy to commit murder in connection with the shoot-down of two Brothers to the Rescue planes over Cuba in 1996. All three were arrested in 1998 and were part of the so-called “Cuban Five” group — Cuban nationals (convicted in 2001) of a spy ring called “the Wasp Network” which used shortwave radios to receive direction from Cuba, including demands for information on Cuban exile groups in Florida and U.S. military activities in the Caribbean. Obama also said that as far as he knew the “plane shut down” was not a premeditated move by Castro but a “tragic circumstance.” He said he was going to “weigh in” during the “healthy debate” inside Congress. He added that his policy against the embargo was going to give the United Nations and the Red Cross more freedom to help Cubans on the island.
“I share the concerns of dissidents there and human rights activist that this is still a regime that represses its people“.
Cuban-American lawmakers have promised the relatives of The Brothers To The Rescue victims that they will do everything in their power to keep the embargo in place to pressure Cuban officials to respect human rights. Let’s see what they do.

Left behind in all of this, the families of four men killed. They got the short end of the deal. They called Obama’s decision to release three of the members of the “Cuban Five” an insult to the U.S. justice system. Their biggest complaint was that they were not contacted by the Obama administration to prepare for the news.
“Everybody knows everyone’s phone numbers here, and any way to call, e-mail, anything, and nothing was done.”
“First, I want to say that I’m so happy that Alan Gross will be able to spend Hanukkah with his two daughters, ’cause I’ll never have that again with my father,” said Marelene Alejandre Triana, who was only 18 when her father, Armando Alejandre Jr., one of the four men on board Cessna Skymasters that had taken off from Opa-locka Airport on Feb. 24, 1996, was shot down over international waters.
“The only person that we had responsible for what happened, to be let go, it’s a slap in the face to my dad”.
For a tearful daughter Marlene Alejandre Triana, the relaxing of restrictions is especially painful because her father fought for the U.S. in Vietnam. “To me, it’s just a dishonor to my father’s memory, to every soldier that goes and does anything, that this can happen, that there’s no respect,” she said. A tearful Miriam de la Peña said Raul Castro was the one who ordered the hit on The Brothers To The Rescue plane that her son, Mario de la Peña, was in when he died Feb. 24, 1996.

Not mentioned much on my part because I am not interested in discussing matters that are divisive. It needs to be said that as a Catholic, I am beyond disappointed in the latest action of Pope Francis. There is no comparison between the visit of Pope John Paul II to Cuba in 1998 who went to bring a new breeze (literally) and spiritual renewal which resulted in a return to churches all over Cuba, and the actions of this Pope (Francis) who helped broker a politically motivated deal that never even took into consideration the victims or their families but gave comfort to a murderous regime and a deliberately anti-American interests president instead. Critics of the church may or may not use this to continue condemning the Catholic Church, but I will ignore them to be able to report the story.
Pope Francis paid for US-Cuba deal at secret Vatican meetings with Obama.

Barbaric regimes (not just Fidel’s) will never change with the lifting of sanctions. It is a dream romanticized by fools in the media like Chuck Todd to name one of dozens if not hundreds. You cannot legislate moral political leadership or force ruthless despots to have principles. Just two days following the announcement…
2 days after Obama announced normalization of relations w/Cuba, regime rammed & sank a boat of 32 ppl fleeing island. http://t.co/6Jb3buPdFu
I have been standing with the families of the pilots who were murdered in the Brothers to the Rescue mission. They have my heart and prayers as they represent the injustice suffered by victims who have struggled not just against communism in Cuba, but misinformation and propaganda against its dissidents in the media.
Noam Chomsky: Any dictator would admire the uniformity and obedience of the U.S. media. (H/T David Rosenthal)
There are no limits to Fidel’s hatred for the people of Cuba. Likewise, no love by our president for Americans or a scintilla of concern for victims of political or religious persecution worldwide. None. He is one of them.
If anyone wonders why I support Sarah Palin, it is because we didn’t have anyone like her in politics to be the antidote for communism in Cuba. Without putting too much pressure on one woman, she is a treasure because of her GOODNESS and FIGHT for the right things. This is scary to despots. So I believe and I have faith that since GOOD wins in the end, we shall prevail. I don’t know how else to express how disappointing and disheartening it is for people not to APPRECIATE what they have after all the evil and malice displayed over five decades.
I like how Sarah Palin has approached this Cuba deal because it is empowering to the people there. That being said I hope and pray she knows Cubans who lost Cuba will never see it again out of conviction until the Castro brothers are gone (and even then the destruction has been so vast and permanent) and that it will remain just a remembrance of a healthy, prosperous and self-sufficient nation. It is lost and will never be the same. We who fought for her are thirsty for fighting for America. It is going to be 56 years this January 1st that the revolution started and there is no end in sight to the tyranny. I have lit my candle in solidarity for those fighting the oppression in Cuba, but Cuba is only in my heart and mind. It is time to realize FIGHTING for AMERICA is our first hope!

From protests in Miami to Candle lighting in solidarity all over the U.S. Few were unaffected by this story as we all are now brothers and sisters fighting for a universal and God-given right: freedom. In Cuba, the Billboard is obviously for the liberation of the murderous accomplices.

File this under: Criminal Illegal Aliens Stealing America’s Future.
By Gary P Jackson
President Barack Obama has declared he will “shut the government down” if the Republicans refuse to fund his latest unconstitutional power grab, the granting of amnesty, and certain rights, to criminal invaders of our nation.
This is, in fact, a brilliant strategy by the despot in the Oval Office. Despite historic nationwide victories in last month’s election. Despite the American people screaming loudly “STOP OBAMA BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY,” the Republican “leadership” is still afraid of it’s own shadow! Even though it was Obama, and Harry Reid who shut down the government earlier, the Republican morons “in charge” allowed the extremist democrats, and their media partners, to blame the Republicans. Worse, instead of fighting back at the democrats, these worthless GOP crapweasels spent all of their time attacking Senator Ted Cruz and the Tea Party, thus HELPING the democrats blame Republicans!
The nationwide Republican victories in November were the greatest since 1932, when you count the Senate. Only the 2010 elections saw a bigger nationwide shake-up, with Republicans replacing democrats all over the country. If the American people are sore at Republicans for “shutting down the government,” they sure have one hell of a way of showing it!
How is the Republican “leadership” reacting to one of the largest mandates ever given a political party, a mandate to stop Obama and his democrats, at any cost? Why they’ve surrendered, of course! All of the talk from McConnell and Boehner is about making sure the government isn’t shuttered, and now we hear McConnell and his deputies refuse to even strategize with those in the Senate who DO want to stop Obama.
Now one must know by now, that the “progressives” who make up the “leadership” of the GOP WANT amnesty, not just for a few million criminal invaders, but for all of them. Tens of millions of them. Just as the democrats are owned by union thugs, the GOP “leaders” are bought and paid for by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and others who want cheap labor. Never mind illegals are one of the main reasons wages are stagnant in America. Their being here and willing to work for much less money than an American, or LEGAL immigrant, depresses wages across the board. Corrupt politicians really don’t care. Caring doesn’t pay nearly as well as servicing their cronies, who keep them in office.
So while you’ll see Boehner, McConnell, and their boys, talking tough, they have no intention of actually doing anything about Obama’s illegal, and immoral, power-grab, or stopping the flow of criminal invaders from around the world.
Which brings us to a cold, hard reality. Between our debt, which is now over $18 TRILLION [and will reach $22 TRILLION by January 2017] and liabilities that equal roughly $100 TRILLION, we are on the hook for money money than even exists. In other words, there isn’t enough money in the entire world to cover our debt and liabilities! Let that sink in a minute, before continuing.
So …. what’s another $2 TRILLION in the grand scheme of things?
Caroline May at Big Governmentreports on the findings of Senior Research Fellow Robert Rector, of the Heritage Foundation:
“The net cost — which is total benefits minus total benefits paid in — of the amnesty recipients I estimate will be around $2 trillion over the course of their lifetime,” Rector explained in an interview with Breitbart News Monday. He added that the calculation is based on the assumption that 4 million undocumented immigrants will participate and they will live, on average, 50 years.
According to Rector — who has published extensively on welfare, poverty, and immigration — the cost has two components: The first is the potential to access Social Security and Medicare, given amnestied undocumented immigrants’ ability to obtain work permits and Social Security Numbers.
“What [Obama] is doing is he is putting these 4 million people — who on average have a 10th grade education — into the Social Security and Medicare programs,” Rector said. He used much of the same methodology he incorporated in his May 2013 study on the cost of amnesty to reach his conclusions.
With the expected earnings for an individual with that level of education, he explained that the amnestied immigrants will take vastly more out than they will contribute to those programs.
“Given their expected earnings, from someone that has a 10th grade education, they will draw about three dollars worth of benefits out of those programs over their lifetimes for every dollar they put into them. But the overall cost in outlays will be around a trillion dollars for those programs alone,” Rector explained.
The second component of Rector’s analysis looked at means-tested welfare programs.
While undocumented immigrants are not eligible for welfare dollars, Rector says he expects that within about a dozen years either through legislation or executive action the amnestied immigrants will be able to access welfare programs.
As a stop-gap — should there be no legislation or executive action granting the amnestied illegal immigrants welfare access — Rector noted that once the citizen children of amnestied immigrants hit age 21 they could be able to petition to have their parents obtain green cards without leaving the country.
“After 5 years with a green card status they are eligible for all the welfare programs,” he added.
Once the amnestied undocumented immigrants are able to access welfare, he argued, that will be another trillion dollars in means-tested welfare over the course of their lifetime — on top of the trillion dollars in Social Security and Medicare.
“Even if they are waiting 10 or 12 years to get access to these programs, that is still a trillion dollar cost once they begin to get into them,” Rector said.
The Heritage expert explained that on average in the U.S., households headed by an individual without a high school diploma take in about $50,000 in federal, state, and local government benefits.
“The bottom line to understand this is you are taking 4 million people with a 10th grade education and giving them access to the largest entitlement and welfare system in the globe,” he said. Rector added that his findings are expected to be published at the Heritage Foundation in the coming days.
You should read the 2013 report by Rector and Jason Richwine. It goes into great detail of how the dollar figures are reached.
For the deniers in the bunch, one should note Rector has been very consistent in his findings. In June of 2007, when President Bush, and Congress were chomping at the bit to give amnesty to these criminal invaders, before the American people rose up and said “HELL NO,” Rector published a similar study that reckoned amnesty for illegals would cost a minimum of $2.6 TRILLION. You’ll note the numbers are a little different, but so are the demographics of the illegals he used to compute his findings. The 2007 report is even more detailed, and mind-blowing.
Of course, we already know the number of criminal invaders who will be granted amnesty under Obama’s unconstitutional action will be greater than we are now being told. We also know that, by either executive fiat, or court orders, from resulting lawsuits that are sure to come, and soon, all of these illegals will be given full access to all welfare and other benefits American taxpayers toil and sweat for, to provide for other AMERICANS.
For those of you who have read, and understand Cloward-Piven, none of this should come as a surprise. Obama and his democrats mean to destroy America from within. Sadly, the Republicans are willing co-conspirators in all of this.

We’ve called for Obama’s impeachment and removal from office. If you agree, tell you representatives in Congress, while you are bending their ears, to get it done!
Nice life, Congresswoman, but something is wrong. Maybe a little intervention is just what is in order right now for some political clarity. I will do you a favor and provide useful information anyone can find. (By the way, readers, I know it’s “Not ISIL”, not “no ISIL” but there’s a reason for it being spelled that way.)
Intentionally or not, you have been referring to a group of terrorists in Iraq and Syria as ISIL, not ISIS, a distinction easy to find. As Allen West points out:
ISILrefers to a group of terrorists that has professed the establishment of an Islamic caliphate that refers to itself as IS(Islamic State).
We should all be referring tothe savage and barbaric group as ISIS (Islamic State in Iraq and Syria) and not ISIL (The Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant).
Allen West explains how White House spokesmen, Josh Earnest, and Rear Admiral Kirby from the Pentagon, as well as other voices out of the Obama administration, use the term ISIL and why these distinctions matter:
First, if you choose to refer to this group as ISIL,you have basically rewritten the map of the Middle East and fallen into the trap of not recognizing the existence of Israel and also of Lebanon. If you use ISILyou are then validating the Islamic totalitarian and jihadist claim that the modern day Jewish State of Israel is an occupation state and does not exist in the eyes of Muslims. He continues here:
Second, if you fall into the trap of referring to this group as IS, you have validated the existence of an Islamic caliphate and through your words lend it recognition and credibility.
Lastly, we need to address this group asISISbecause it is seeking to establish an Islamic state within the borders of two recognized nation-states; Iraq and Syria. ISIScan attempt to break down any borders and not recognize them, but we must. We cannot allow this group to reestablish some 7th century regional caliphate and therefore must fight to reestablish sovereignty…
There is an opportunity here to truly promote a country where there can be respect and coexistence of Muslims, Christians, and other religious minorities. A place that would thoroughly reject the idea of Islamic jihadism and would continue to be a reliable ally of the United States. Read the entire article plus a video explanationhere.
I know you believe in Israel and the importance of sending the correct message to terrorists that we do NOT dismiss them or that we would EVER intentionally use the term to imply support of the establishment of a caliphate that calls itself an Islamic state. I know that. But as Chairman of the Middle East and North African committee you should know the difference. In case that information did not get to you (in July), I sent you a tweet last week about ISIS vs. ISIL:
I also took the time to make a clip (in Spanish and English for the locals to hear) to show that you have used the term ISIL instead of ISIS in at least three interviews, including in a segment on a recent appearance on Jose Diaz-Balart’s show on none other than MSNBC. Maybe it was an oversight on your part, but it leaves me wondering why you would having missed such an important point being in a prominent position on foreign policy matters.
I also added in the clip your explanations for having voted against ending DACA, Obama’s illegal amnesty, none of which made sense to me. When you consider praise from LaRaza for work done in favor of amnesty as reason for celebration and joy, I know something is wrong. You’re out of touch. Your job is to protect us, not push the legalization of illegals, which by the way, are part of the Mexican Cartel who have been chatting with ISIS, the group you refuse to identify as such. Calling it immigration reform is an insult to our intelligence. WE KNOW you’re wrong. Who do you represent? Jeb Bush or us?
We will need new leadership in Miami if the Republicans we have continue a communist-enabling (suicide) mission. Enough!
I extend an invitation (and a request for a reply) for a meeting or interview, Congresswoman. In case you missed my visit or the note I left at your office:
Dear Ileana,
Please grant me an interview. I would present you with facts, not opinion, about AMNESTY, to show it is a communist-driven agenda. I’m not alone complaining you’re inaccessible.
Update: The title was changed. I was having fun but it was too confusing for readers to make the connection. A lot is at stake and it’s best to be clear and direct. This was the catchy title but not explicit enough: His Sniffer-ship Weeps Again. This Time for Eric Cantor N.o.b.o.d.y. does it better.
I find John Boehner fascinating. Okay, I’m lying, of course (sort of). He is always in the news but is never making good news for us. He said that impeachment was a scam and a White House stunt. (Nowthat’s a scam!) He has no plans to Defund Obama’s Unconstitutional Acts. He filed a pointless lawsuit which got a well-deserved snark from the President: “Sue Me!” His half-baked response to Obama’s massive 2.7 billion immigration fix didn’t garner the votes needed, so recess is postponed until a new measure is passed. When it comes to failed acts of courage in D.C., nobody does it (the same yes, but not) better than Boehner.
Here’s a little FLASHBACK from those of us who have been calling for John Boehner’s removal since 2011:
Boehner could have been replaced last year but we’re stuck with him so we may as well go down memory lane and have a little fun at his expense. Here is his address to the 113th Congress on the day his Speaker-ship was renewed: Jan 3rd, 2013. If you recall, he had resorted to bribing representatives with favors and committee positions at the last minute to keep his position as he did not have the votes to win. Here they are throughout this speech: Rino crocodile tears. Aww..
Ready? :01 Public service was never meant to be an easy living. Extraordinary challenges demand extraordinary leadership. So if you’ve come here to see your name in the lights or to pass off a political victory as some accomplishment, you’ve come to the wrong place. The door’s right behind you. If you’ve come here to be the determined voice of the people .. gets choked up :35 – :36, if you’ve come here to carry the standard of leadership demanded not by our constituents but by the times then you’ve come to the right place. Sniff :46, applause :47 hanky :48 applause ends :57. There is a time for every purpose under Heaven and for the 113th Congress sniff 1:02 it is a time to rise.
It’s his party and he’ll cry if he wants to… but you should cry, too. It’s your party and he’s not only been against you, he hasn’t even acknowledged you.
You will find all sorts of weepy shot collections, Facebook pages and lists dedicated to John Boehner crying.. Included are best caption contests, videos and hundreds of jokes in thousands of pages about this man’s tears. I’m sick of it.
Good grielf!! If Sarah Palin or any woman in politics especially a Conservative one even shed one tear over the kinds of events John Boehner has been moved to tears over. Above his emotion was captured during an Irish song at a Saint Patrick’s Day Luncheon at the Capitol. If any woman on our side was caught doing this, we would not hear the end of it. It’s not that politicians SHOULD be emotionless it’s that Our GOPe is sick. John Boehner I have said before is not well. As politicians they make it all about “them”, but it’s about “us”, which is the contrast between the GOPe style of governing and the ONE that is to come.
Notice Boehner never thanks the Tea Party, nor the woman behind the surge that took him to the power which he has squandered, but that’s okay.. we’ll tweak what he said earlier and use his own words for inspiration:
There is a time for every purpose under Heaven and for US, We-the-People (no sniffing – weeping- no hanky) it is a time to rise.
With all due respect to those who are sincerely attempting to solve the border crisis all the way from Washington, I am not sure why 1) the “D” word hasn’t been mentioned in the discussion below and 2) Why there is a stigma of the “D” word, deportation, in the first place!~ I’m incredibly curious about what you have to say about Ted Cruz’s solution to the border crisis. He has introduced a bill to stop the President from further granting Amnesty which he says is the root cause of the problem. It is called a controversial measure. I asked David Dankberg who provided the video below what his opinion was; he said it was better than John Boehner’s lawsuit because it can at least be put into effect right away. Please listen to the clip and give your feedback. Maybe we can write a collective letter in response to the measure and send it directly or openly to the Senator who seems to be a fair thinker in my estimation. I’m not that thrilled with this.
I will post it again until it sinks in. It doesn’t matter how exploited, abused or disease ridden these children are, they need to be sent back to their parents. It can be done. Like the VA problem, there is a cultural issue attached to this. There is no will to do it. DC has to get over the hang-up of the “D” word. That’s right. All the touchy-feely talk must stop. Sarah explained it best in her timeline a month ago, and I adhere to her solution so far above all others; but I do not want to hear what else they are suffering not because I don’t care, but because it shouldn’t be happening in the first place if our LAWMAKERS WERE DOING THEIR JOBS! This clip is about the rationale behind NOT deporting which is the problem for me.
Laura Ingraham has a list of fantastic solutions to the problem See next article.
#Amnesty is just #RedistributiveChange" and destruction of middleclass. Directly from Saul Alinsky "Rules for Radicals". Obama taught book.
NEW YORK – The infamous Mexican “Death Train” – also called “La Bestia” [“The Beast’] – on which tens of thousands of illegal alien children from Central America are traveling through Mexico to the United States – is being targeted by criminal complaints from Mexican authorities for allegedly violating the civil rights of passengers.
Leading without a title, Sarah Palin is justifiably angry at Democrats and Republican politicians alike. They exploit the plight of children for political purposes yet are heartless when faced with the reality that is the latest crisis created by Obama. Giving up on Congress for being too timid and gutless to impeach him, she calls to action in her timeline post Americans to make their voices heard at the ballot box including those whose hypocrisy she sheds light on.
Dear Humanitarians, Since it Takes a Village to Stop Amnesty Abuse of Children, Join Me
“It’s for the children!”
“This is a humanitarian crisis!”
Finally, they have won me over. I actually agree with the liberals’ war whoop. I, too, demand that this issue of young illegal aliens flooding across our border into horrendous conditions be taken care of. Now! Uncompassionate people, wake up! Though it’s claimed by Democrats ad nauseam to justify more spending to pile on our $17 trillion debt, and it’s applied to every single “crisis” their policies conjure up, and no matter the cause you’re labeled a racist if you disagree with their policies, well, this time it really IS for the children.I say this as a mother – a bleeding-heart compassionate woman and mother. I say, how dare anyone turn a blind eye and further harden your horrid heart when you see these pictures snuck out of the innocent children’s holding pens – snuck out because our government is censoring images released. It must be my (former) friends in the GOP ordering this censorship because Democrat leadership knows better than to EVER spy on or censor the press; they’d NEVER infringe on the First Amendment. So, for shame, Republicans. These thousands of hungry, innocent children rushing in through Mexico are just the tip of the Sedona Red Rocks (granted, some of these illegals are 18-year-old men whom you wouldn’t want to mess with, but, still, according to Obamacare we now dub young adults “children” until they’re 26, so…). Expect to see hundreds of thousands of another country’s children walk right through our welcoming open border, counting on America’s families to render all aid. We owe it to ourselves to be prepared – so, work even harder, working class, while our President uses his trustworthy discernment to redistribute your paycheck, because it IS for the children, after all. And it takes a village, don’t you know? These victims are brought here (by SOMEONE in authority in their own countries) facing sweltering 110-degree Arizona heat, illness, unsanitary conditions with unbelievable hygiene issues, Texan food the kids don’t like because it’s too foreign to them, and possibly sexual exploitation. By any definition, this is child abuse! We cannot ignore this, and to do so proves you are heartlessly oblivious to the plight of those who, though not willing and able to follow rules or our laws, are expecting a free pass and handout anyway. As a Christian I find it unforgivable to ignore this issue of overrunning border security into these conditions in southern states, and this one issue is just about driving me to renounce my Republican ties because, see, even leaders on the RIGHT side of the aisle haven’t exerted all Constitutional power to stop the madness. A few have tried, but until they’re sent reinforcements, then atrocities like the child abuse and exploitation you’re now getting wind of will only get worse. It’s already hard to recognize our once exceptional nation amidst the neglect of this issue of children used as political pawns. Can you imagine this disregard for child safety happening even a short decade ago? The press would have had none of it, and they’d shine light on what the underlying problem is. They’d report that it’s not the innocent babes’ fault, would attempt to get to the bottom of it, and then finally they’d blame Bush. Today, that approach is ignored. They just blame Bush. There is a loud and aggressive invitation to illegals of all ages and from all countries to “kick off your shoes and come on in!” Now that’s Southern Hospitality! It’s sent by foreign leaders and our own. C’mon, with all the free stuff we can supply everyone, how can anyone turn this down? Government will have to grow enormously to accommodate this influx, and services and care will inevitably have to be rationed, but like we teach our children – we’re all better off being disciplined! And isn’t sharing our resources okay as long as we have trustworthy, compassionate career politicians in charge of the nation’s priorities? Remember, our Republic has been blessed because we committed to nurture a caring, compassionate, pro-child, law abiding citizenry. And because of those mores, it’s unconscionable to take any more of this chaos and crisis. I say, enough is enough. This issue of the children MUST be addressed. So, GOP and Democrats alike, where are you on this humanitarian issue of child abuse?Hang on to your hat, because here’s the issue: Barack Obama has orchestrated this newest “crisis” in order to overload the system with the intention of “fixing” the problems his own policies create – by fiat, and that infamous phone and pen; screw the rule of law. He’s warned you by proudly claiming his executive orders can bypass the peoples’ representatives and obviously ignore the will of the people.
This exploitation of foreigners’ children is an inhumane ploy to entice families to break laws by literally shoving kids across one of Obama’s infamous and irrelevant lines, with assurance that parents, aunties, step-uncles and third cousins twice removed will get to cut in line too – that sacred line that previously led law abiding, hardworking immigrants to build this great nation. Barack Obama will keep phoning in and penning the message that he will NOT secure borders, so, hey, extended undocumented relatives, you’re free to join the kids being used and abused to snag that golden ticket. Obama surely knows a nation is not a nation without borders, while we must surely know this is the “fundamental transformation of America” that he promised and some of us warned about.
Congress and American voters, how long will you let Team Obama get away with this? The recent avalanche of devastating crises caused by a president believing he is above the law has set the most dangerous precedent a once-free people can imagine. To encourage and reward lawlessness by refusing to enforce the will of the people as proven by laws passed by our political representatives is the signature of a tyrant. In this case, Obama’s refusal to enforce immigration laws and his blatant suggestion that his chosen illegal activity will be rewarded are proof of his tyrannical tactics. The recent numerous manipulated “crises” have the media pinging and ponging trying to keep up with what is the scandal of the day, which one overshadows another, and how will they distract next, and who’s on first?! Purposeful decisions causing these crises are meant to overload the system, justify abuse of executive power to “fix” it all, and ultimately tighten control of the people.
So, how much more will you take, Congress and We the People? I sense not enough guts in D.C. to file impeachment charges against Team Obama for their countless documented illegalities, so the way to stop this is at the ballot box. To fundamentally restore America to her destined exceptionalism you must get involved and then get to that box. Use YOUR phone and pen to support conservative candidates who will fight for what is right: Constitutionally protected freedom, respected military, free markets to create jobs, and secured borders to protect jobs! We need your help to do this; it takes more than a village to fortify the homeland. ANYONE associated with support for Obama’s deceptive ploys that would stoop to using and abusing innocent children must be voted out of office. ANYONE who has shined the boot that Obama’s put on the neck of our economy and security must be held accountable by those with the legal power to do so – Congress. And then We the People hold Congress accountable. Do not vote for any politician who has gone wobbly on their commitment to respect the will of the people and to fight to defend our Constitution. This wishy-washy status quo has got to go.
It IS for the children.
– Sarah Palin
P.S. I see that HHS is offering a $350 million grant to provide “family planning services” to the children here illegally. The primary expenditure we need to supply in this humanitarian crisis is jet fuel to fly these children back home to their parents.

INDIANAPOLIS — Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin fired up a crowd of thousands inside Lucas Oil Stadium Saturday night to kick off the National Rifle Association’s “Stand and Fight Rally,” saying Americans’ constitutional rights as envisioned by the founding fathers are under attack and policies like gun-free zones constitute “stupid on steroids.”
“They knew that if the Second Amendment goes, the rest of the constitution is not far behind,” she said of the country’s founders.
In addition to haranguing former New York City Mayor Michael I. Bloomberg’s gun control push and lampooning Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr.’s recent testimony on Capitol Hill, she also tsk-tsked Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s suggestion last year to fire off shotgun blasts into the air to scare off would-be intruders.
“Just aim up in the air – that was his directive, his advice,” she
said. “Well, fine, Joe Squirt Gun, if your rapist is a bird.”
She also derided those who she said place an emphasis on political correctness in handling the country’s adversaries “instead of putting the fear of God in our enemies.”
She said later in her address that if “I were in charge” — a line that drew applause from the crowd — “they would know that water-boarding is how we’d baptize terrorists.” Read more
Eric Bollling: Governor, our freedom and liberty are under siege, the amendments specifically, how do we fight back?
Governor Palin: On a national level we make sure that we’re electing candidates who will promise to pay whatever price it’s going to take to protect our Constitution. Then on a state level I think it’s very important that we need find candidates and elect them who would be willing to call for a convention of states if need be because that is the tool the people have to reign in government.
Sarah Palin agreed with Rand Paul that the first amendment is the most at risk: It starts there. If we’re not able to express the will of the people then government will take over or continue doing what it’s doing today.
Governor Palin: The problem we have today start at the top. We have a president who does not understand or just chooses to disrespect our constitution, those rights, the rule of law, the separation of powers.. all those things we learned in elementary school about how our nation was formed and why it is the most exceptional nation on the Earth because of that constitution. Our president has set a tone in this nation that kind of says, eh, you know, it will be a select, elitist crew of guys that is going to run the show instead of We-the-People.
Eric Bolling: Governor, you have said Hillary should run in 2016. Why do we really need another Bush or Clinton in the White House?
Governor Palin: I said it’s fine if she ran, I didn’t say it’s fine if she won. We don’t need more of the blue bloods. No. We need new energy. We need new people in there who understand what the constitution has done to create this great country, not those who would choose to seek constitutional changes, amendments that were not the will of the people, that they would amend themselves by not seizing power from the people. So no, we need new people in there.

Eric Bolling: We found out this week the Reverend Al Sharpton was at one point an FBI informant. Your impressions as to why he did that. He’s been a very vocal critic of yours. Your thoughts on the reverend, hero or hypocrite?
Governor Palin: There are so many reasons to look at Al Sharpton and not be impressed. This is just one of those. He’s been a critic of just the average patriotic American, not just me – the average American who understands what it takes to get the country back on the right track. He’s not one to help get the country back on the right track.

Governor Palin discusses Jon Stewart and Sarah Palin doing a PSA: Our efforts are to help our troops, the wounded warriors returning from the war zone and needing mentor-ship and employment. There are so many trained, equipped troops returning home and we want to make sure that they’re getting a great shot, a fair shot at getting a good sustainable job. It’s tough to do in this economy when 18-20 million are seeking employment and can’t find it because of the economic condition we’re in. Whatever we can do to help those troops. It is our military who have paid the price to allow us to be free. How dare their sacrifice and their efforts be in vain. Part of that is sustainable good employment and future for their families.
