Al Qaeda Terrorists at Guantanamo and Illegal Aliens Treated Better Than Vets!

guantanamo-659x370

By Isabel Matos

That is the GITMO detainee cell picture for the story below, but first Sarah Palin posted this on her Facebook Timeline earlier today:

Any Politician Siding with This Tragic Reality is Unfit for Office

Compliance with these un-American acts in this Obama Era deserves the scorn of citizens; we will do all we can to oust those who follow the Obama/Pelosi/Reid lead on disgusting treatment of our military and red carpet treatment of their law-breaking chosen ones.

She linked Michelle Malkin’s article How America Treats Illegal Aliens vs. Veterans. This is an excerpt of from her article in Townhall.com 5/23/2014:

A government that fails to secure its borders is guilty of dereliction of duty. A government that fails to care for our men and women on the front lines is guilty of malpractice. A government that puts the needs of illegal aliens above U.S. veterans for political gain should be prosecuted for criminal neglect bordering on treason.        …

Compare, contrast and weep:

In Washington, Big Business and open-borders lobbyists are redoubling efforts to pass another massive illegal alien amnesty to flood the U.S. job market with low-wage labor.

Across the country, men and women in uniform returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan have higher jobless rates than the civilian population. The unemployment rate for new veterans has spiked to its worst levels, nearing 15 percent. For veterans ages 24 and under, the jobless rate is a whopping 29.1 percent, compared to 17.6 percent nationally for the age group.

A Forbes columnist reported last year that an Air Force veteran was told: “We don’t hire your kind.”

And last December, Democrats led the charge to reduce cost-of-living increases in military pensions — while blocking GOP Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions’ efforts to close a $4.2 billion loophole that allows illegal aliens to collect child tax credits from the IRS, even if they pay no taxes. The fraudulent payments to illegal aliens would have offset the cuts to veterans’ benefits.

America: medical and welfare welcome mat to the rest of the world, while leavings its best and bravest veterans to languish in hospital lounges, die waiting for appointments, and compete for jobs and educational opportunities against illegal border-crossers, document fakers, visa violators and deportation evaders. Shame on us.

FOX News.com posted an article by and interview (video) with Former Pentagon spokesman JD Gordon saying he has proof Gitmo detainees are treated better than our Veterans.

H/T Veterans for a Strong America for story lead

they deserve better

JD Gordon has been at the medical facility several times (over 30), and says EVEN Michael Moore who was there used a bull horn to say: “We want the best treatment for Al-Qaeda, no more no less.”

To Gordon the issue with the VA is systemic, not monetary: the VA needs a top to bottom review. He emphasized the mentality issue is a “cultural” issue as well. They are just under-performing. There is no sense of urgency. It is hurting our Veterans who deserve better than this. He writes:

President Obama finally addressed the nation Wednesday about the growing scandal at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. After meeting with VA Secretary Eric Shinseki he pledged to hold folks accountable.

Thanks, Mr. President.

By now most American have heard about the VA’s infamous patient “secret wait lists” which reportedly contributed to the deaths of up to 40 veterans in the Phoenix area alone. Those patriots were American heroes who served our country proudly. Yet they were left to die waiting to see a doctor.

While the Gitmo ratio is 1.5 to 1, for America’s 9 million veterans receiving VA health care and 267,930 VA employees, the ratio is 35 to 1.

Here’s another secret the White House doesn’t want you to know about..

Friday Pro Qualifying Results From the NHRA Arizona Nationals in Phoenix

By NHRA Communications

Shawn Langdon raced to the provisional No. 1 qualifying position in Top Fuel Friday at the NHRA Arizona Nationals at Firebird International Raceway.

Johnny Gray and Jason Line also took the provisional top spots in their respective categories at the second of 23 races in the 2012 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing season.

Langdon powered his Al-Anabi Racing dragster to a track record 3.754-second pass at 323.12 mph. It was the fifth quickest run in NHRA Top Fuel history and moved the driver into the provisional top spot with two qualifying sessions left. If it stands, it would be Langdon’s second career No. 1 qualifying position.

This is a great team to be a part of,” said Langdon. “It shows how great Brian (Husen, crew chief) and Alan (Johnson, team manager) are. I’m glad I had the chance to show off their efforts in the pits. I was very shocked by the run. I was thinking if we could go a 3.78 or a 3.79, that would put us in a good position for tomorrow. I don’t think there was a 3.74 left. I think they used up every bit of the run. Our goal now is to work on the consistency we need to put us in the winner’s circle.”

Recent winner Spencer Massey currently sits in the third provisional spot in the category, while seven-time Top Fuel world champion and three time winner at Firebird International Raceway, Tony Schumacher is second in the provisional field. Langdon’s fellow Al-Anabi teammate, Khalid alBalooshi, sits in the provisional 11th spot in the field.

Johnny Gray followed his runner-up finish at Firebird International Raceway in 2011 with the quickest lap of the day Friday. Gray powered his Service Central Dodge Charger to the top of the provisional field with a 4.074 at 298.93. If it stands it would be his second career No. 1 qualifying position.

The Tire Kingdom/Service Central car is running really good,” said Gray. “It was running really good at the end of the year, and we’re hoping to carry that on. The thing came out and ran good. It dropped a hole on the first run and ran good on the second run. I actually had to shut the car off before the finish line because it was getting close to the wall, and I was fixing to get in trouble. If I can hold it in the middle, it ought to be fast. There is more in the car, definitely.”

Gray’s fellow Don Schumacher Racing teammate and defending event winner Jack Beckman sits in the provisional seventh spot, while defending world champion Matt Hagan is in the provisional 10th spot. Recent O’Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Winternationals winner John Force is currently fourth in the provisional field.

In Pro Stock, Line followed up his No. 1 qualifying position at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona one week ago with the provisional top spot on Friday. Line drove his Summit Racing Pontiac GXP to the top of the pack with a pass of 6.553 at 211.00. If it stands it would be his second of the season and 26th of his career. It would also be his second No. 1 qualifier at Firebird International Raceway.

It’s good that we qualified No. 1 (in both sessions) today, but it won’t stand,” said Line. “Tomorrow’s conditions will be better, and some of the other cars haven’t made their best runs yet. But it’s still fun to come up here for the No. 1 qualifier interview. I like visiting the press towers of all the different tracks.”

Line’s teammate and O’Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Winternationals winner Greg Anderson sits fourth in the provisional field, while former Pro Stock world champion Mike Edwards sits in the provisional second spot in the category.

Qualifying will continue Saturday with sessions scheduled for 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

You can catch the qualifying show on ESPN2 Saturday from 8 pm-10 pm [Eastern] and final eliminations on Sunday 9 pm-12 am [Eastern]

Sarah Palin At Sky Harbor

By Gary P Jackson

Sarah Palin and her family arrived in Phoenix’s Sky Harbor airport on Friday to take a short break from her One Nation Tour. It just so happens the local ABC affiliate was there to cover another story and was in the right place at the right time.

She talks about a possible run for the U.S. Senate from Arizona among other things. Her answer? You’ll have to watch the video!
