New SarahPAC Mailer Strongly Suggests Sarah Palin Will Mount A 2016 Presidential Bid

Sarah Palin at Reagan Ranch on Horseback

By Gary P Jackson

Many long time supporters of Governor Sarah Palin, those of us who have followed her career since early 2007, a year and a half before she was to be chosen as the Republican nominee for Vice President and became an international figure, have been wondering why the Governor has been silent now that several Republicans, including her good friend Ted Cruz, have announced they are officially in for 2016. Maybe, just maybe we have our answer.

Other than jabs at Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney in her Iowa speech, which prompted Rick Moran at PJ Media to say this ….

Palin sounds like a candidate to me. And she’s teeing off on Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney, implying that their establishmentarianism is no better than the status quo — a potent theme that will resonate with the conservative base.
She also implies that Bush/Romney aren’t strong enough to get in the trenches with Hillary and the Clinton machine to duke it out. She certainly describes herself when she says she thinks the GOP candidate should be “considered a bit avante garde.” In fact, the way she describes the ideal candidate is like she’s looking in a mirror…

Palin may have other reasons for running, including denying Romney and Bush a cakewalk to the nomination. Her favorability ratings may be a liability, but her name recognition is far better than any other conservative candidate. Her entrance in the race would be a wild card that could peel off support from both establishment and conservative candidates alike.

I have one pick with Moran’s comments though. The last major poll that included Sarah Palin left her off as a potential candidate, but measured her favorables and unfavorables against a huge field of potential candidates. The 2014 poll had Palin’s favorability at 70%, among Republicans and Republican leaning independents. That’s UP from 67% in 2012 and considerably higher than anyone the pollster, Public Policy Polling, offered up as an actual candidate. Also, people shouldn’t dismiss lightly the fact that Governor Palin has been considered one of the Most Admired Women in the Word in Gallup’s annual survey since 2008, never being ranked lower than third on the list! Palin’s supposed unfavorability is more fantasy than fact!

Governor Palin has focused all of her energy, when it comes to 2016, on Hillary Clinton. She has hammered Hillary for not being able to multi-task, and use one phone for official government business, and one for personal use, going so far as to post a photo of herself, as Governor, holding her newborn son juxtaposed against Hillary’s claimed inability to figure it all out:

Sarah Palin Multi-tasking w Cellphones

In yet another scandal, Hillary was exposed as using her device for both personal and official State Department communications. A big no-no!

Earlier Governor Palin reminded Americans that while Hillary has erased her entire email history at the State Department, after using an illegal computer [something that would have anyone else already serving time in prison] Palin’s own e-mails were put under a microscope with the left wing Washington Post actually asking it’s readers to help scour through some 25,000 emails looking for the “juicy partsWaPo and it’s readers had hoped to find all kinds of incriminating evidence of SOMETHING, but instead found page after page of e-mails proving that not only was Governor Palin incredibly competent, but proved to be one of the hardest working public servants in the country. Something those of us who have followed Governor Plain for the better part of a decade already knew!

Sarah Palin email Truth

The Palin e-mails also put an end to the lie that she supported and took money for a “bridge to nowhere” when they revealed she wanted to give the money back, and earmark it for replacement of the I-35 Bridge that collapsed in Minnesota, killing and injuring many. Of course, as there was no legal way to do that, the money went to Alaska’s general fund. We have a link to many of Governor Palin’s official e-mails, as well as her outstanding record of accomplishments a Governor, here.

Several days ago Governor Palin posted this on Facebook:

America – ready for Hillary? Some of us are. Join us and begin here…

WATCH the Game-Changing New Video That Drops A Bomb On Hillary And Can Finish Her

A truth bomb of epic proportions …

She included a link to Western Journalism and the article America Rising Releases New Hillary Video: ‘Trustworthy?’

Governor Palin has consistently said she is “Ready for Hillary” and not in the way the former Secretary of State and world class criminal thinks!

Which brings us to a new mailer from SarahPAC that is making the rounds on Twitter. The letter is titled “I’m ready for Hillary. Are you? A second header proclaims “The First Shot: Clinton vs Palin” Along with the letter, is a copy of the front page of the Boston Herald, dated January 25, 2015 that screams MAKE WAY FOR SARAH and proclaims: GOP Strategists: A Palin ’16 bid is no joke

These mailers are sent to folks who support SarahPAC.

Here are a couple of the tweets, one showing the letter and the newspaper tear sheet, and one with just the newspaper:

The Boston Herald article is now hidden behind a pay-wall, but our friends at Conservatives4Palin archived it. Here’s the important part:

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s announcement that she’s “seriously interested” in running for president in 2016 could shake up the GOP field, say strategists, who point to the former vice presidential hopeful’s strong base, fundraising ability and star power.

You’ve got to take her seriously because she can raise a lot of money, she has a big following and she has been through a national campaign, which is important to be competitive in a presidential primary,” Republican strategist Chris Brown told the Herald. “I think she really changes the field and she has the potential to hurt a lot of candidates — especially Tea Party conservatives.”

Former Alabama GOP Chairman Marty Connors said Palin “has built a career around being underestimated.
I would immediately put her in as a top- or mid-tier candidate if she decides to run,” Connors said.
[S]he has a built-in constituency and so she wouldn’t have to raise the money that some of the other candidates would and I think she’d be an exciting candidate that a lot of people would rally around.

As to raising money, I think Haley Barbour got it right when he said of Governor Palin a few years back: “She could raise enough money to burn a wet mule!” In case you don’t speak Mississippian, that means she can raise a hell of a lot of money! But I also agree with Connors, in that she is a known quantity and has not only a huge following, but the ability to attract the news media, who will follow her every move, like the second coming of Elvis!

Governor Palin’s media partner PassCodeCreative recently created a new video for SarahPAC Catch Me If You Can which reminds us about the big stir he bus trip caused a few years back!

Governor Palin and her family drove the media nuts, because she never gave them an itinerary, saying …. rightly so, her trip was about getting out and seeing America and talking to regular Americans, rather than a publicity stunt, like Hillary’s recent Scooby Do bus tour that was a complete and total flop! Governor Palin used this video to make fun of Hillary’s failed tour! And to poke the media again!

In the C4P article we mention above, Steve Flesher links to another Boston Herald article written around the same time by Adriana Cohen that explains the GOP needs a strong Conservative woman, if they intend to defeat Hillary Clinton [or Liz Warren, for that matter]

The GOP needs women on the ticket for many reasons, not least because it steals the Democratic Party’s thunder. They want to be the “first” at breaking cultural barriers and glass ceilings. With Hillary Clinton expected to be their front-runner in 2016, they’ll use her gender as a tactic to gin up support from their base — especially female voters.
I can already see Emily’s List pushing out emails nationwide saying, “Let’s make history by electing the first female president of the United States.”

Cohen goes on to say this about Hillary [and how Sarah is better]: [emphasis mine]

If you’re a female leader on the Democratic ticket, you’re a “hero” regardless of how many times you put your foot in your mouth, embarrass yourself or worse.

We haven’t forgotten Hillary Clinton saying that we should empathize with our enemies or that businesses and corporations don’t really create jobs. Both absurd statements that should disqualify any candidate — male or female — from any race, never mind the top slot.

But if you’re a female conservative? Watch out! Liberals will pounce and do everything they can to marginalize a conservative woman who runs for office no matter how educated, or talented, or accomplished she is. Liberals only “tolerate” others if they agree with them and follow their agenda.

The reality is Sarah Palin draws huge crowds at speaking engagements, has millions of social media followers and just as many supporters across the nation.

Hillary Clinton has been giving speeches to half-filled rooms.

Look, we have absolutely no idea what Governor Palin is going to do, but after she considered a 2012 run, for a long, long time, and then didn’t, causing a lot of disappointment among supporters, it’s hard to fathom she would do that again, especially as aggressive as this latest mailer is.

One of our longtime readers, Joy, made an interesting point a few days ago. If you remember, on September 3, 2011 Governor Palin made a powerful speech, to a massive crowd in Indianola, Iowa, which our Stacy Drake recorded.

While Governor Palin spoke of Liberty and Freedom, the main focus was crony capitalism.

Governor Palin has been going after in corruption in government for over 20 years, ever since her earliest days as the junior member of the Wasilla city council! She famously took down the entire Republican Party machine, in Alaska, which rivaled Chicago, and it’s thug politics, in it’s depths of corruption!

Just a few months after Governor Palin’s well received speech, Peter Schweizer’s brand new book: Throw Them All Out: How Politicians and Their Friends Get Rich Off Insider Stock Tips, Land Deals, and Cronyism That Would Send the Rest of Us to Prison was released.

The book caused a massive stir, as well as top billing on 60 Minutes. Congress passed a law [though later it was quietly neutered] banning lawmakers from insider trading. Both former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi [D-California] and current Speaker John Boehner [R-Ohio] have made tens of millions of dollars using secret insider information.

Joy noted that Peter’s new book: Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich which has caused the Clinton’s to loose their minds and their friends in the media a lot of sleepless nights trying to figure out how to protect Hill and Bill, just happens to be coming out at a time Governor Palin has been relentlessly hammering Hillary!

Peter’s new book, which is set for release May 5, 2015 is already a Number One Best Seller at Amazon!

I’m not sure Joy is off base here at all.

Most people know this, but Peter Schweizer served as Governor Palin’s foreign policy adviser after she left office and created SarahPAC. Peter literally wrote the books [plural] on President Ronald Reagan’s foreign policy, which Governor Palin had adopted as the basis for her own, adding new lessons learned.

What is interesting to me, is after serving under Palin, Peter has written exclusively about corruption in government. Clinton Cash will be his third Best Seller in a row on the subject.

Again, we have no idea what Governor Palin is up, but we have it from sources close to the family that her decision not to run in 2012 came down to strong opposition from her mother and her oldest son, Track.

That said, Governor Palin posted this on Facebook January 22, three days before the Boston Herald article was published:

Ha! Believe it or not I received this from… my mom!“:

Sarah Palin Hitchhiking

Take from that what you will!

Is it too early to say Palin-Cruz 2016?!? [or Palin-Jindal]

What exactly is “That woman” thinking about?

Impressive Video Wishing Governor Sarah Palin A Happy 50th Birthday

palin white house

By Isabel Matos

I can see Washington from Sarah’s house.. sort of. It felt like the two worlds within the Republican party who have been at war can finally merge and be united again under Reaganesque leadership that only Sarah could bring. That’s what it felt like. The video shows.. well.. enjoy the surprises for yourself.

Reince Priebus couldn’t come around to uttering Sarah’s name, but it doesn’t matter. The fact that he did this was enough (for now). The sooner the GOPe gets into the habit of validating her and repeating her merits for all to see, the sooner they will see how good it feels to stop going against the wishes of the base and just get on board.  It was impressive whether it was for show or not.  ShePac is not SarahPac, which I contribute to, and they have posts on anyone with an R next to their name; but Sarah is a transformational figure, in the best possible way, and it does the party good to raise her profile more. The leadership within the GOP of Jeb Bush and crony Karl Rove will certainly never bring us together.

Happy 25th Anniversary Sarah and Todd Palin

Sarah and Todd Palin Playin With Their Food

25 years and still going! On a recent fly fishing trip Sarah Palin said this is what commercial fishermen call “playin’ with your food“! She also noted she caught the bigger of the two fish!

By Gary P Jackson

Twenty-five years of marriage, if that doesn’t deserve a shout-out, and possible a medal, especially these days, I don’t know what does!

The two are still just as cute of a couple as they where when newly weds!

Todd and Sarah Palin Younger

Hard to know what to get the couple that truly has it all, but our buddy Michael [CoolChange on Twitter] suggests a $25 donation to SarahPAC. We agree, 2014 is just around the corner, and we know Governor Palin has already started gearing up for battle. In 2010 and 2012 her endorsements were the only ones that mattered.

From earlier this year Sarah declared she was “Loaded for Bear

The couple that stands with each other ….

Sarah Palin, Todd Palin

…. stands with America

Let’s all show Sarah Palin that America stands with her and her family. Send $25 [or more] to SarahPAC today!

If You’re Taking Flak, You’re Over the Target

by Whitney Pitcher

A lot has already been written about the John Avlon piece at the Daily Beast that casts Governor Palin as some kind of hypocritical charlatan who exploits donors to her PAC. I don’t want to re-hash what has already been said too much.  Please just read here, here, and here.

I do want to make a few points though. Please excuse this atypical format. I’m writing after a long work day combined with overindulgence in caffeine. If it’s not too violence inciting, I just want to make a few bullet points. I’m italicizing my sarcasm to avoid confusion:

* John Avlon is the co-founder of No Labels, an organization that is supposedly centrist, but stands for nothing in particular. This No Labels organization is classified as a 501c4, which is not required to itemize their disbursements nor reveal their donors. While Avlon is decrying SarahPAC’s FEC report, he himself doesn’t even have to report anything specific. No labels, no transparency. (By the way, Avlon’s wife is Margaret Hoover, former staffer in the Bush White House and in Bush’s 2004 campaign, meaning she worked with the likes of Steve Schmidt and Nicolle Wallace).

* Avlon also tries to conflate a PAC with a political campaign. When Governor Palin called for consultants to be fired and pollsters to be furloughed, she was referring to the types of overweight consultant schmucks who told her what to eat, micromanaged her every move, and suggested to her running mate that suspending his campaign was a good idea in 2008.  If you want to look at the kind of “consultants” Governor Palin hired, consider the following descriptions  The speechwriter she hired, that Avalon snarkily blasted, is as grassroots as you can get, yet could run circles around Peggy “Thousand Points of Spite” Noonan. This speech writer is a from far outside the beltway and started as #justablogger who started a site you may have heard of with a $10 domain name purchase. Other “consultants” the Governor hired include advance people. You know the people who ensure that all the logistics are worked out when she stumps for candidates. Yes, those are the real entrenched guys who corrupt the political process that the Governor called out–the guys who make sure that she gets from the airport to the stump, make sure her notes are on the podium, and usher the Governor through rope lines, among a lot of other tasks. But wait, weren’t we told earlier this week that the Governor never talks to the grassroots? Additionally, there are those who do things like assist with clerical and administrative things like websites and mailing lists, and of course, a treasurer. But, no, Palin should not pay a treasurer to make sure she’s in compliance with the oh-so-simple FEC regulations! She should just use TurboTax, just like that smart guy who used to be a Cabinet secretary.

*Avlon also mentions that Governor Palin spent a chunk of change on postage for direct mailings. What’s that? A political figure sends out direct mailers. That never happens! It’s amazing that Governor Palin employed a government agency like the post office as a “consultant”! Shouldn’t the Left be praising the Governor for being so generous to an agency that is essentially bankrupt? Or are they saying that Governor Palin should hand deliver her mailings by snowmachine? This piece at RedState, written by a fellow Illinois conservative, goes into more details on specifics. Yes, I’m recommending a piece at RedState. They’re few and far between, but there are some good ones.

*Avlon also whines about the return on investment of Palin’s endorsements and the amount of overhead, but he fails to mention the limits that PACs have on giving. He’d rather take advantage of the fact that casual readers won’t know the FEC caps on giving. The maximum amount a PAC can give is $5,000 per election (general and primary are counted separately). Even if the Governor devoted one-third of her spending to candidates, she would have to give the maximum to both the primary and general elections to over 150 candidates, but even then I suppose she would be criticized for hiring any staff and not supporting 450 candidates.  She should have endorsed every GOP Congressional candidate! However, Palin is a force multiplier (h/t RefudiateGOPe). When Governor Palin gives an endorsement, the phone rings off the hook  for those candidates. Perhaps we should just ask Senator Dewhurst how effective Governor Palin’s endorsement? No?

* A final point. Social media is not the absolute barometer of what we loosely call the “conservative movement”, but it is a barometer. People who decried this news are the same ones who tongue lashed conservatives who were critical of Romney in 2012. They certainly didn’t have a problem when news came out weeks before the 2012 general election that Governor Romney’s campaign invested over a hundred million dollars in consulting firms owned by his senior staffers and he lost! No circular firing squads, they say! Unless they’re the ones who get to hold the gun. This is par for the course in the “conservative movement” though. When Governor Palin worked her butt off to try to get McCain elected generating more excitement in the GOP than had been there in over 25 years, she ultimately got blamed for the loss. When Governor Walker was getting hit with a recall, the GOP and “conservative movement” was eager to help, but when Governor Palin got inundated with dozens of frivolous ethics complaints, crickets. When Governor Palin was cast as accomplice to murder in Tucson, there were conservative bloggers and some media personality who defended her, yet again, overwhelming crickets from her own party machinery. However, when Ann Romney was told “she never worked a day in her life”, you couldn’t get Mr.overgrown college Republican and the RNC to calm down in demanding an apology.  Today, you certainly didn’t hear outrage when Marco Golden Boy spent over 90K of his PAC donors’ money on political consultants in just the month of February alone, did you?

I’m tired of this. Tired of the lies. Tired of the finger pointing and intellectual dishonesty. Tired of the attacks. However, as the World War II saying goes, “if you’re taking flak, you’re over the target”, which is good if you’re loaded for bear:

Endorsement Power! Sarah Palin: 75% Success Karl Rove: $100’s of Millions Spent Only 1% Success

By Gary P Jackson

Want to know the very definition of failure? Look no further than Karl “Tokyo” Rove. Though many in the Republican Establishment™ love to call this certified loser “The Architect” because President George W Bush won election twice, the fact is, Bush just barely beat Al Gore, an actual lunatic, and John Kerry. That’s right, Bush almost lost to John Freakin’ Kerry! Thanks to Rove’s brand of divide and conquer, alienate everyone, kind of strategery Republicans lost Congress in 2006, and the American economy immediately started to collapse. If one wants to look at someone to point to as the reason we still have a Communist devil in the White House, Karl Rove would be a good place to start!

On the other hand, in 2010, Sarah Palin endorsed upwards of 100 candidates all across the fruited plain. She endorsed in local, state, and congressional races. Some via Facebook and Twitter, some in person. Almost every one of her candidates won, including five Governors and two states’ Attorneys General. The momentum built by Sarah Palin and the Tea Party saw the largest political turnover since Reconstruction after the Civil War. In state houses across the country, over 600 democrats lost their seats to Republicans.

With a massively unpopular president, and an ever failing economy, one would have thought it would have been easy, even for morons, to take that momentum from 2010 and build on it for 2012. One would be wrong. One must never underestimate the stupidity of idiots.

The Geniuses of the Republican Elite™ decided they didn’t need or want either Sarah Palin or the Tea Party, and went back to their old losing ways. Once again the Republican Establishment™ proved it hasn’t lost it’s touch for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

According to NBC’s Michael Isikoff:

Karl Rove was the political genius of the George W. Bush era — the architect of the last Republican president’s two electoral victories. But this week, he may have had the worst election night of anybody in American politics.

Not only did Rove insist on Fox News that Ohio was still winnable for Republican challenger Mitt Romney after all the TV networks had called it for President Barack Obama — causing anchor Megyn Kelly to march down to the Fox “decision desk” mavens, who assured her on air that they were “99.9 percent” confident in their call — but his trailblazing “independent” super PAC operation was virtually shut out on election night.

A study Wednesday by the Sunlight Foundation, which tracks political spending, concluded that Rove’s super PAC, American Crossroads, had a success rate of just 1 percent on $103 million in attack ads — one of the lowest “returns on investment” (ROIs) of any outside spending group in this year’s elections.

American Crossroads spent heavily, not just on Romney, but on attack ads on behalf of GOP Senate candidates in eight states — thanks to mega contributions from conservative donors like metals magnate Harold Simmons ($19.5 million), Texas homebuilder Bob Perry ($7.5 million) and Omni hotel chief Robert Rowling ($5 million.)

The super donors didn’t get much for their money. Six of the eight GOP Senate candidates that American Crossroads spent money to try to elect – Tommy Thompson in Wisconsin, George Allen in Virginia, Josh Mandel in Ohio, Richard Mourdock in Indiana, Denny Rehberg in Montana and Todd Akin in Missouri – lost their races, along with Romney. The group did, on the other hand, help to elect Deb Fischer in Nebraska and Dean Heller in Nevada.

(The Sunlight Foundation calculation of “return on investment” was based on the percentage of money it spent on individual races– and since Crossroads spent the most on the races it lost on, the group earned its low 1 percent “return on investment” or ROI. A sister group, Crossroads GPS, which operates out of the same offices as American Crossroads but does not disclose its donors, fared little better, netting a return on investment of only 13 percent, according to the Sunlight Foundation report.)

Jonathan Collegio, a spokesman for American Crossroads, dismissed the Sunlight Foundation report.

GOP super PACs helped keep the race close and winnable, despite Obama’s massive financial advantage,” he wrote in an email to NBC News. “On the Senate races, run the numbers. If you don’t count the long-shot self-funders in CT and PA, Senate Democrats outraised their GOP opponents by $60 (million) this cycle – and that disparity is greater if you factor out GOP primary fundraising. The DSCC (Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee) outraised the NRSC (National Republican Senatorial Committee) by another $20 (million). Few have reported on this.

You can’t have an accurate view of the role of super PACs without the context of how Democrats leveraged incumbency to outraise their opponents by literally hundreds of millions of dollars,” he added.

The American Crossroads debacle was only the most dramatic example of the limits of big money in this election, according to the Sunlight Foundation report. About $1.3 billion was spent by outside groups overall — about two-thirds on the Republican side — and for the most part their returns were equally low. The Chamber of Commerce, for example, spent $31 million-and had a 5 percent return, according to the Sunlight study. The conservative American Future Fund spent $23.9 million and also realized a 5 percent return. The National Rifle Association spent $11 million, and got shut out.

Donald Trump tweeted his “congratulations” to Rove:

Hundreds of millions of dollars pissed away. Now we know why President Bush’s nickname for Rove is “Turdblossom“!

On the other hand, Sarah Palin simply used Facebook and Twitter to get her message of support out, We The People did the rest.

There’s a reason why Mediaite recently named Sarah the number one TV pundit and influencer in the country, far outpacing Karl Rove in every category.

Part of American Crossroad’s problem was failure to back the right candidates in the Republican primaries, which led to a lot of tired, same-old-same-old candidates who haven’t figured things out.

Rove and Governor Palin did share a couple of candidates though, and remarkably fared the same. Sarah backed both Richard Mourdock and Deb Fischer in the primaries. Both are solid Conservatives. Fischer won her Senate seat easily. Mourdock should have, but misspoke while talking about the evils of abortion, and the corrupt media pounced. The left went crazy attacking him, and it was all over.

On the other hand, Sarah Palin was more selective this year than in 2010. She concentrated on select Senate races from the start. She weighed in on the primaries, and supported dark horse candidates like Ted Cruz, giving them much needed exposure, and through her millions of grass roots supporters, some cold hard cash.

During the primary season, Sarah was batting 1000 until Missouri, when her candidate, Sarah Steelman, who was polling the strongest against democrat Claire McCaskill, and was an almost sure winner, lost to Todd Akin after some shenanigans by democrats. Akin almost immediately lost the election by saying incredibly stupid things, allowing one of the very worst of the worst to be re-elected.

Always listen to Sarah Palin. Chances are you’ll have better results. A couple of other candidates lost their primaries, but for the most part, if Sarah Palin endorsed you in the primary, you won.

That brings us to the general election. Sarah outperformed the Republican Party by a bunch. Out of the eight candidates she endorsed, six of them won:

In Utah, Orin Hatch faced a tough primary from a pretend Tea Party candidate who proclaimed he was “just like Mitt Romney!” Many only heard “Tea Party” though, and it was a battle. Senator Hatch will be going back to Washington

In Texas, Ted Cruz was incredibly popular with Tea Party groups, but not polling well overall. Sarah endorsed him early on, and as he says, the money and recognition came. Cruz’s main competition was Texas Lt Governor David Dewhurst, a corrupt Establishment™ hack. Cruz made the crowded race close enough to force a run-off between he and Dewhurst. Sarah came to Texas before the run-off election and fired Texans up for Cruz. A real superstar, and Reagan Conservative, Ted will be going to Washington.

Deb Fischer, who Sarah endorsed early, will represent Nebraska in the Senate and as will Jeff Flake from Arizona.

Ted Yoho from Florida and Paul Gozar from Arizona will be the newest members of the House.

On the losing side, are the aforementioned Mourdock and sadly, Dan Bongino.

Now it would be easy to let Rove off the hook and blame this all on Mitt Romney and what I’ll call the “reverse coattails effect” meaning he was such a failure, he hurt many down ticket races, but there’s a problem with that. You see we can look to the grassroots organization American Grizzlies United, formally Organize4Palin.

AGU is an independent grass roots organization made up of regular folks who trade the lack of tons of money for lots of sweat and worn shoe leather. Looking at their general election candidates page, they had great success nationwide.

So what’s the take away? For one thing, it’s that We The People are much better at picking, and supporting candidates than the Republican Establishment™! The problem is, the GOP is too stubborn to listen to their own party base. In fact, they will actually blame their failure on the Tea Party every single time.

The Republican Party is broken. It needs new leadership from the top down. To lose against the worst president in our nation’s history, and loose ground in the Senate to boot, is not just humiliating, is dangerous. Now we have a Communist devil who will have nothing to stop him from continuing his all out assault on Liberty and Freedom.

Many seem to think elections are nothing more than a game, but elections have consequences, and thanks to Karl Rove and the Republican Establishment™ the American people are in for tough times ahead.

Thanks to Sarah Palin, American Grizzlies United, and the Tea Party we at least have a few solid, capable Conservatives headed to Washington to do The People’s business.

SarahPAC: “Politics-As-Usual”: Wrong & Misleading

From SarahPAC:

Three years ago DC pundits predicted with glee the demise of Sarah Palin’s political career. This past weekend their tune changed, citing false information that she has made a decision and set a date regarding a future campaign. Any professional pundit claiming to have “inside information” regarding Governor Palin’s personal decision is not only wrong but their comments are specifically intended to mislead the American public.

These are the same tired establishment political games that fuel the 24 hour news cycle and that all Americans will hopefully reject in 2012, and this is more of the “politics-as-usual” that Sarah Palin has fought against throughout her career.

PS –Kudos to CNN for setting the record straight and including Governor Palin’s own words.

Sarah Palin’s SarahPAC Out-raising Mitt Romney In Ohio

By Gary P Jackson

Sarah Palin, who isn’t an announced candidate for president …. yet …. is out-raising Mitt Romney, who has declared, in the important state of Ohio:

WASHINGTON — The first votes for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination are still months away, but Ohioans have already given nearly a quarter of a million dollars to would-be candidates, including $58,000 to “SarahPAC,” former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s political action committee.

Trailing just behind Palin in cash from Ohioans is former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney’s “Free and Strong America PAC,” which has received $50,000.

Ohio, long a bellwether in presidential politics, isn’t necessarily considered a must-win for Republican primary candidates.

But the enthusiasm a candidate musters in the Buckeye state — including financial contributions — can be indicative of how they’ll do in the general election.

Ohio’s always going to be a focus of presidential elections,” said Dave Levinthal, a spokesman for the Center for Responsive Politics, which collects and analyzes data about political fundraising. “If one candidate is doing particularly well there, that could to some degree foreshadow their success later.”

Ohio money is important, too.

Before presidential candidates launch formal campaigns, they raise money through leadership PACs — political action committees that politicians use for indirect sponsoring of a candidacy. The funds can be used for travel, political consulting fees or polling.

Levinthal calls those PACs a “barometer” of early support.

Later, Ohio can be expected to be a significant donor to campaign coffers.

In 2008, presidential campaign donations from Ohio totaled nearly $16 million.

Palin has long cast a shadow on the Republican field, though she has not declared her candidacy. Unless she announces she is not running, and maybe even after that, she will remain a factor.

I think Sarah Palin is a true patriotic American,” said Patricia Alderson, 62, a community organizer for charitable giving from West Chester Twp. in Butler County who gave SarahPAC $2,000 in November 2009. “She wants to do the right thing. She’s a person who speaks from her heart and she reminds me of a woman fighting for her children. Every time she talks, I’m like, ‘you go, girl.’

Sarah Palin And The American Spirit

By Gary P Jackson

A great video showing what Sarah Palin’s One Nation Tour is all about. Also shows what the media circus missed.

From Sarah Palin:

Our family has been blessed with an opportunity to showcase all that is good and strong and free about our exceptional nation.

Even though the media too often sadly chose sound-bites over substance, they did get lots of substance during our “One Nation” tour from the nearly two dozen opportunities I got to speak candidly with them and talk about policy, politics, history, and everything in between. More importantly, I got to talk with countless everyday Americans who want to get our country back on the right track.

It’s been an extraordinary honor to meet so many fellow patriots who care deeply about this country, who want a brighter future for all of us, and who recognize the undeviating line that connects our history to our future.

Not surprising, some members of the media missed a lot of this due to their relentless and futile search for scuttlebutt. So, we assembled this video to capture the amazing Americana spirit of the places and people we visited. I invite you to enjoy this recap of last week’s east coast bus tour.

Please remember we must learn about our past – our great successes, our bitter struggles, our enduring strength – in order to navigate through the challenges ahead so that we might remain a shining city on a hill and the abiding beacon of freedom.

As we look to our Charters of Liberty and our strong foundation to fundamentally restore America, we’ll keep moving forward… and we’ll keep reporting on it ourselves.

Glenn Beck: Palin 2012 Just Got More Likely

[kyte.tv appKey=MarbachViewerEmbedded&uri=channels/451373&tbid=197123&p=1011&height=390&width=480]

When it comes to Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck is always interesting to listen to. He and Sarah are great friends, and according to Glenn, e-mail each other frequently. What tickles me, for all the things they share, Glenn is one of those who has always thought she wasn’t running, despite all of the evidence to the contrary, which is why this is remarkable.

I know, as a long time supporter, [pre-2008] it’s easy to get caught up in it all, but it’s not hard for even an objective person to see that Sarah Palin has been setting herself up to be the 45th President of the United States for a couple of years now, at least.

In the past few weeks a lot things have happened. A new home in Arizona, the feature length motion picture, the bus tour, and more have all been announced, but these things didn’t happen over night. Great planning went into all of this.

While Sarah was out there giving policy speeches, traveling world-wide, and holding Obama’s feet to the fire, she was also putting things in place for a run. She’s hired a top shelf Chief-of-Staff, a solid foreign policy adviser, as well as other key personnel. Now it can be argued with her busy schedule that Sarah needed a good Chief-of-Staff no matter what, but Wasilla hockey moms rarely hire foreign policy advisers, especially those who literally wrote the book examining how President Ronald Reagan won the Cold War.

The problem with the little elites in Washington is they are arrogant. If you aren’t from the “right” side of the tracks, they look down their nose at you. They didn’t care for or give Reagan much of a chance either. They have been in D.C. so long they have lost all touch with reality.

Sarah Palin, and people like her, are like a cool drink on a hot summer day. They are refreshing, and sustaining.

Here’s more from Glenn’s website:

Sarah Palin has been pretty quiet for the past few months, but while many suspected she was distancing herself from national politics it looks like she may have been quietly working on a potential presidential campaign. She’ll be unveiling a new documentary about her life in the weeks ahead, and she’s launching a national bus tour. Why the surprise moves? Glenn had some thoughts on radio this morning.

The other camps are saying behind the scenes that they’re not preparing for her run. They don’t believe she’s running. I don’t know. But she’s obviously going out on a bus tour this weekend. And it seems like something a candidate would do. She’s going to make up her own mind. She’s certainly her own person. Nobody makes her do anything,” Stu said.

“(The bus tour) is going to kick off this Sunday by taking part in the Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Ride, comprised mainly of U.S. war veterans of the Vietnam War begins at the Pentagon, concludes at the Vietnam Memorial on the National Mall. Planning for the trip kicked into high gear only a short while ago when she rehired two former advance aides to President George W. Bush, Doug McMarland and Jason Rector to plan the trip and execute logistics. Details of where the 2008 vice-presidential nominee will go remain fluid and they’re only closely held within Palin’s small world of trusted advisors,” Glenn explained.

I have to tell you, there’s no one more cryptic than Sarah Palin. She doesn’t trust anyone and for good reason, she shouldn’t trust anyone. And she controls her own destiny.

The question is whether or not this is still a country that can handle — you want to talk about a, quote/unquote, maverick. It is Sarah Palin. Can the country still elect or still give a lot of credibility to somebody who works alone and says I’m charting my own course. Those used to be pioneers. Those used to be people that would go out west and people would tell stories of them.”

People are saying you know what, I don’t care what anybody else thinks. That’s when amazing things happen. When people think out of the box. That’s when somebody says, wait a minute, I think I’ve just invented something I’m going to call the light bulb. When they don’t care. Now, this society is being set up that would have shut Edison down. Edison wouldn’t have even been able to have his labs let alone actually come out with the light bulb, because there would have been too much regulations.”

They attack Sarah Palin with such anger, it’s just — it makes me like her more, because I get defensive about her and Bachmann and others that get attacked so angrily over and over again. They must be doing something right,” Glenn said.
