ICYMI ~ EXTRA~ Sarah Palin Discusses Hot Topics with Mario Lopez Update: Disgusting Tweets Re Her Comments About Hillary

Gorgeous Picture!

by Isabel Matos

What’s a day without news from Sarah?  I call it good news – as in honest reporting or some form of penetrating the culture in positive ways. –

This was a snippet of an interview on EXTRA that aired last night. It is part of an exclusive interview with Mario Lopez (a lucky devil who really hit a little jackpot by being sent on assignment to Alaska to film part of an episode on Sportman Channel’s Amazing America).

He covers some headlines, but the first moment featured was about Hillary. He asked Sarah if being a grandmother would affect (help) Hillary running in 2016.

Sarah answered, “I think it will kind of broaden her world view. I think anyone who is a grandparent really starts looking further down the road. We start thinking about things like $17-trillion debt that our nation is under and what we’re going to hand that to our grandkids for them to pay off… that’s not fair to our grandkids. Hopefully, she’ll start thinking along those terms, too.”

We will have an update once if and/or when a full interview is published. In the meantime check out these idiotic tweets being sent around:

Now THIS is What I Call “Access Hollywood” ~ Sorry Extra ~ Mario Lopez IS A Lucky Guy!

By Isabel Matos

Penetrating the culture is such an important part of Sarah’s mission. Andrew Breitbart said it best: that the GOPe would have to transcend that to compete with her, and guess what? She is definitely doing it all. I still don’t know what  Mario Lopez did to deserve this but it sure is fun watching him enjoy his visit in Alaska.  Please RT the tweets below to start getting the media used to the culture changing.. and that we are a part of it this time.  Pop culture matters!

Last month Mario Lopez met with Sarah and Todd Palin who hosted Sportsman Channel’s “Iditarod Unleashed” the Monday following the interview.

Governor Palin’s Message: Self-Reliance, Not Selfies

by Whitney Pitcher

In a press conference this morning to promote her upcoming show on the Sportsman Channel, Governor Palin took the opportunity to share her refreshing message of true female empowerment. As EOnline reports:

When E! News asked what Palin would like Amazing America to teach the young girls who tune in, Palin was quick to respond saying, “That they need to be, and can be, and have to power to be self-reliant. They can be independent and they too have equal opportunity to get out there and enjoy all that has been given to us here in America.”

While Governor Palin’s intention is, for the most part, to eschew politics, the show’s cultural message will be 180 degree different than the liberal message of female empowerment through governmental reliance.  Instead the show will be a modern day, American culturally-based equivalent to Alexis de Tocqueville’s Democracy in America. Governor Palin will highlight the true promise zones of America–her people and their achievements. As USA Today reports:

Palin, wearing black except for flag-patterned high-heeled shoes, says it’s “not going to be some kind of fake scripted reality show” but will “showcase people, places and things in order to restore, fundamentally, what makes America great,” including her own family. Red-state Americans live an organic lifestyle that’s not limited to urban “granola” fans. “Their dinner just happens to be wrapped in fur rather than cellophane. So be it that we go out and shoot our dinner first.”

As for Governor Palin’s additional message to young women, she also noted:

“I think this world would be better off having more young women holding a fish in a picture than holding their camera in front of a bathroom mirror, talking a selfie.” The 2008 Vice Presidential candidate announced to a room full of reporters at the Television Critics Association Friday morning.

I tend to agree. Choose snapper over Snapchat and crappie over cropping.

Palin: “Amazing America” to Premier in April

Promo_widget

Sportsman Channel has announced that Sarah Palin will host their upcoming series “Amazing America” premiering on April 14th.  Looks like Mama Grizzly has been keeping the mother of all secrets since there has not been even one tiny leak on this exciting development.

Gov. Palin posted a Facebook update shortly after Sportsman Channel broke the news.

It’s soon time to get your “Red, Wild and Blue” on, America! I am ecstatic to get to share more of this great country with you, and I have exciting news to share!

We’ve been blessed with opportunities to travel all across America and experience inspiration! We’ve seen some wild places, met some wild people, and “amazing” is one word that comes to mind wherever the road takes us. It’s your turn to be inspired! So I am thrilled to work with Sportsman Channel on the new TV series called “Amazing America with Sarah Palin” because it lets me highlight the real stories that make America truly amazing.

Like us, there are millions of men, women and families who embrace the great outdoors and thrive on the natural beauty, resources and diverse activity it offers. A main reason I wanted to join Sportsman Channel is their passion and dedication to our active lifestyle. And they believe everyone has a little wild inside. This series lets us help everyone find their wild in “Red, Wild and Blue America!”

Prior to Palin’s announcement I received this email from Sportsman Channel:

Good Morning,
I just wanted to pass along the news that Sarah Palin is hosting a new outdoors TV show on our network beginning next April. Please see attached press release for more information. It hit the AP wire this morning – so you can also see some stories in places like ABC News, CNN etc: http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/wireStory/sarah-palin-host-outdoors-show-21148357

Let me know if I can get you any further info on this new show. We are very excited to have her on board! Thanks so much.

The Sportsman Channel website has the following to say about “Amazing America”:

Amazing America with Sarah Palin explores and experiences the coolest and most original people, places, businesses, and gadgets that appeal to Red, Wild and Blue America. Former Governor Sarah Palin takes viewers into the life of those living the American dream.

Whether it is celebrities living the sportsman dream or equally enthusiastic everymen, Mrs. Palin will take us nationwide to find the people and places that share and reflect her passion for what makes our country amazing.

Petersen’s Hunting offers this “first look” commentary on “Amazing America” but here’s a sneak peek of what to expect.  (Note: you must scroll down past the ad to see the article.)

“The show really explores and experiences an anthology of stories about the most original people, places and businesses that really appeal to Red, Wild & Blue America, that great American spirit about the great outdoors,” said Marc Fein, EVP of Programming and Production at Sportsman Channel. “… The show is really about shining a light on these folks that reflect [Palin’s] passion for what makes the outdoors and our country amazing.”

The segments aren’t just about hunting, shooting and fishing, however.

“It will be a variety of different types of stories. It could be about amazing craftsmen in action in our states, about American heroes and first responders, how they train when called into action,” Fein said. “We’ll have some celebrities, visiting some celebrities at ranches and farms, and just some really good stories of people living the American dream in our states—who went from nothing, created a product with great ingenuity and built their dream, which is building a dream cabin.”  More

I’m really looking forward to this show.  I predict that it’s going to be a great success for Sportsman Channel and that “Amazing America” hosted by Sarah Palin will bring a broader audience to Sportsman Channel.
