The Incredible Weakness of Senator Kelly Ayotte and the Apology She Owes Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee.

GOP Senate Mob Leader goes after Ted Cruz and Mike Lee behind closed doors.

Things have come to a head between the grassroots and the GOP establishment behind the scenes. It was bound to occur. We have penetrated their bubble and they are feeling the pinch. Thanks to courageous Senators like Ted Cruz and Mike Lee, and the steadfast patriotism of Sarah Palin, Rinos are being exposed for who they are:  greedy sellouts who only care about themselves.

We finally know who was behind the vicious attacks at recent meetings on ObamaCare, at least we know who started them.  Mike Lee mentioned it on Friday without naming names, but he said the truth would come out eventually.

“It was an all-out attack against Ted Cruz and me,” he continued. “It was unflattering. It was unfair. It was demeaning. It was demeaning to Sen. Cruz and me, but more than anything, it was demeaning to those who engaged in the attack.” Lee said a number of senators had risen to speak against him and Cruz — “enough that I lost count.”

It did today.  And it is explosive!  For those who voted for Kelly Ayotte in 2010, you are owed an apology.  She agreed to stand on conservative principles and she has disappointed, to say the least.  According to this account in the American Spectator, she was angry that he didn’t have a strategy.  She was furious and demanding, asking Mr. Cruz to explain his strategy.  (By the way, who died and made her leader of the Senate?)

And she was not alone. Guess who joined her in the criticism?  Mr. Ron Johnson, Mr. Dan Coats and surprise, surprise, the snooty, sneaky snake, Senator Mitch McConnell whose comments I may cover in another article altogether. There is so much infection it’s hard to keep up with the disease of Rinoceritis.

This is what Mike Lee said on the Hugh Hewitt show on Friday: that the attacks were unwarrented and unfair, and that normally there is an unspoken rule that what goes on in these meetings is not leaked.  He said, though, that they were leaked with wrong information so he was setting the record straight. (audio at the bottom of the article in references)

“[N]ormally, I don’t comment at all on closed-door meetings between Republican senators,” Lee said. “It’s a pretty strict rule we follow. But one exception I’ll make is circumstances like this, where contents of the meeting were leaked deliberately by several of my colleagues and leaked in a very one-sided way. I’m happy to tell you about it here.”

“I have to ask the question — why weren’t those who leaked this and leaked it in an unflattering and unfavorable way —why were they not willing to attach their names to those quotes?” he said. “You know, Ted Cruz and I spoke after the meeting and you know, we would both be fine with the American people seeing and hearing what we said in that meeting. Butwe’re pretty sure most of our colleagues would be very uncomfortable and downright embarrassed if their constituents saw the way they were behaving.”

The author of the article believes consultants have the money to persuade the GOP of a false notion that they have to appeal to Independent voters, so they come out and bash the base. It is unfortunate that Senators would not stick to principle instead, and try to help those who are trying to make a difference by standing on those very principles they promised to keep when they campaigned. Money seems to be at the root of all this, but no one who his following what is going on can deny that something really huge is happening in this country, and that this type of corruption in D.C. is becoming easier to see each day.

Let’s go back to good times when Kelly won a primary because of Sarah Palin’s endorsement.

While she narrowly beat a candidate who was seen as a Tea Party favorite, Ayotte herself campaigned as a conservative, and Sarah Palin happily endorsed Ayotte as a “Granite Grizzly” and a “true conservative.”

Sarah’s endorsements have raised awareness on the candidates she has chosen.  They are scrutinized as they have a higher calling. At least that is so to us Conservatives. It is such a coveted title to add to your campaign. Who could think of betraying the confidence she so carefully and diligently place in you?

When Sarah called her out along with Marco Rubio, everyone took notice.

“Every politician should be held accountable for breaking their campaign promises,” Ms. Palin said, on Fox News radio. Mr. Rubio touted in his 2010 primary against Charlie Crist that “border security would come first,” and he would never vote for “legalization of illegal immigrants” and amnesty, Ms. Palin said. And Ms. Ayotte pledged on her campaign website in 2010 a “no excuses” mantra about border security — and also vowed to vote against amnesty.

Why then act differently once in office?  The term “bipartisan” should also be a red flag to voters who want principled conservatives as leaders.

Both Palin and NR, made the case for abandonment of well-stated conservative principle on immigration in the name of “bipartisanship” — a word specifically cited by Buckley as “the most alarming single danger to the American political system.”

Ayotte announced her support for The Gang of Eight Immigration Bill on Face the Nation:

Senator Kelly Ayotte called it a “thoughtful, bipartisan solution to a tough problem.”

Her article in National Review expressed her new views. NR even pointed out she didn’t acknowledge the reasons given by the opposition for the bill.  With Sarah Palin and NR both criticizing her, alarm bells rang.

The most alarming single danger to the American political system lies in the fact that an identifiable team of Fabian operators is bent on controlling both our major political parties (under the sanction of such fatuous and unreasoned slogans as “national unity”, “middle-of-the-road,” “progressivism,” and“bipartisanship.”)

Kelly Ayotte did attack Ted Cruz at the meeting and she did badmouth him over lunch with other Senators; but she also solicited his attendance at a New Hampshire fundraiser at one time. So how did she turn into “Senator Dearest”?

The story is all too drearily familiar. A new senator or congressman with conservative credentials comes to Washington and, as the saying goes, “grows in office.” (Hat tip to Tom Bethell who began noting here in The American Spectator as far back as 1982 that when a conservative went bad the liberal media began saying they had “grown in office.”)

Kelly Ayotte has now officially “grown in office.” Once she wanted Ted Cruz in New Hampshire to star at a New Hampshire GOP fundraiser, an event at which Cruz praised her lavishly — as seen here.

So what are we to make of Ms. Ayotte? She was mad at Ted Cruz for all the attacks on her from Conservatives I should know, I was one who spent two weeks tweeting Ms. Ayotte about her indecisions on Syria, her whiny questions and fears about a government shutdown and her vote on Amnesty.

This is not the thin-skinned type of candidates we want to send to Washington in 2014, so how can we tell WHO is right for the job?  We get burnt so many times. It is not Sarah Palin’s fault they stray or falter.

Sarah has her vision and reasons for choosing supposed conservatives.  Maybe there are really only a few good men, like they say. As politicians, they sure do know how to say the right things to win. I resent them for using Sarah to advance themselves, but I guess you have to elect them to know what’s in them.

You could read the rest of the article linked below, but it basically concludes that Kelly Ayotte is about Kelly Ayotte, and it gives us food for thought and a greater window of insight into what goes on in a RINO’s mind and why we eventually lose. Ayotte has officially represented the Me My Mine Establishment, and Senators Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and those who have supported them, represent the We Our US America.

I believe in redemption, but to be able to redeem yourself you have to admit you have to identify your issue. If Ms. Ayotte agrees she is part of the problem in D.C., one that plagues us, and apologizes to the voters, Ted, and Mike, then we can start to reform our party. She and others must have the courage to confess publicly to make amends with actions to win voters again. If Ms. Ayotte prefers the attention of moderate-progressive-seeking, conservative-bashing consultants instead, then her fate will be sealed when she runs for re-election because voters will not forget. And the bed she makes will be hers to sleep in.

For days on Twitter she repeatedly said was afraid of a government shutdown, but never let on she was so vehemently against Ted Cruz’s efforts or the fight to defund ObamaCare. Now that I know what makes her tick, I cannot even believe the small mindedness of her concern.. the country can go to heck in a handbasket, who cares about the voters.  She just wants to be “liked”.  Go to 3:22 min for a trip down memory lane. (Maybe the insecure Kelly was watching that night):

On Iranian TV: Ron Paul Bashed U.S. and Israel Defends Terror Group Hamas

By Gary P Jackson

Growing up in the Vietnam era, everyone knew who “Hanoi Jane” was. Jane Fonda went over to communist North Vietnam and was filmed making many anti-American, propaganda statements. She gave much comfort and aid to the enemy. This is, in the Constitution, the very definition of treason. To this day, people call for her arrest, trial and conviction for this crime, which carries the death penalty.

Ron Paul may not have gotten there with this interview, but he sure gets close:

On Jan 5 2009 Ron Paul conducted an interview with Iranian state owned English language propaganda channel, Press TV, where he urges ending support of Israel, defends Hamas and tactics of suicide bombing, states that Hamas is innocent and the Israeli state are the aggressors.

To me I look at it like it’s a concentration camp, and people are making bombs, like, they’re the aggressors?

Obviously everything is the fault of the United States and Israel. The murdering suicide bombers bear no responsibility whatsoever. They are just a poor, oppressed people.

Ron Paul is a despicable human being. His ideas on foreign policy is beyond crazy. No sane human being thinks we can just “mind our own business” and be exempt from the problems of the world. In fact, doing what Ron Paul advocates would only make the world more dangerous, not less.

As much as Ron Paul wants to go back to the 19th Century, it doesn’t work that way. In modern society, everything effects everything. Like it or not, we have a global economy. We live in a global society. We can’t just sit back and hope for the best.

By the way, Ron Paul has said Israel shouldn’t exist, and he wouldn’t have fought the Nazis to stop the Holocaust.

Oddly enough, after the state of Israel was created in 1948, the nation tried Ron Paul’s policy of “minding their own business” and were immediately and relentlessly attacked for years. It wasn’t until Israel got aggressive and went on the offense that the Middle East became relatively stable.

If the United States “minded it’s own business” in the manner Paul suggests, you’d have an entire world at war before he finished his term. A strong America is the only thing that keeps one half of the world going after the other half.

Ron Paul is a bad man, who like Barack Obama, and the rest of the socialists, favor terrorists over the United States. If that isn’t treason, it’s as close to it as one can get without actually taking up arms against the Republic.

BTW, if you want to see what real hatred looks like, read some of the comments left on the You Tube site. It’s incredible how much hate Ron Paul gins up among his cult like supporters.

The sooner this evil clown goes away, the better.

Flashback: Newt Gingrich Wanted To Reinstate The Anti-American “Fairness Doctrine”

By Gary P Jackson

I think most Conservatives are pretty used to the idea that Newt Gingrich will betray anyone and everyone. His wives could never trust him, including the one on her sick bed with cancer. Anytime the chips were down, whether it was backing a far left liberal “republican” like De De Scozzafava instead of a solid Conservative in New York, hopping on the couch with Nancy Pelosi while shilling for Al Gore’s global warming hoax, shilling for the ethanol farmers, or wanting to replace one giant government boondoggle with another, you could always count on Newt Gingrich to betray you.

Gingrich has betrayed Conservative principles. The principles of good government. He even betrayed the laws of nature by supporting the global warming hoax and shilling for ethanol.

Then there are the wives. It’s not JUST the fact that the man is a serial adulterer, it’s his pathetic excuse for doing it. You see, this nimrod couldn’t just come out and say he was weak and loved to chase skirts, oh no, that would be too pedestrian, too ordinary. Newt actually said he was working so hard and that he so passionately loved America, that things just happened.

In other words, it’s patriotic to screw around on the wife, if you’re Newt Gingrich!

No man is perfect. We all have flaws, and one tryst might be forgivable, but this? Gingrich wants to be President [snort] being President is really hard work. If I was Newt’s wife Callista, I’d be very concerned.

Something else. Any man [or woman] who will continually betray their mates, with no remorse, would have no problem betraying the American people at ever turn. Case in point, look at how he betrays Conservatives at every turn now.

Which leads me to this. Not only has Newt betrayed wives and Conservatives, he actually betrayed the Constitution. Our buddy Ray sent this to us a couple of days ago. This is a real shocker.

For those old enough to remember, the so-called “Fairness Doctrine” was put in place to kill free speech on the radio. It forced station owners that presented one viewpoint to give equal time to the opposing view point.

Now this sounds awesome on paper, but in reality it makes running a business impossible. Most radio stations opted to just play music instead. It effectively killed free speech.

Of course, certain “news” programs were exempt, so what you ended up with was a completely biased news delivery all slanted to portray the left wing point of view.

As President, Ronald Reagan signed an Executive Order suspending the act. This would eventually give birth to a vibrant talk radio industry which helped advance the Conservative movement.

The “Fairness Doctrine” was a direct assault on the First Amendment.

Seaton Motley writes this:

Newt Gingrich Co-Sponsored the 1987 Pro-Fairness Doctrine Bill

The so-called Fairness Doctrine is the anti-First Amendment now unenforced Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rule which chilled free speech on the radio from its FCC creation in 1949 until the Commission voted to stop its enforcement in 1987.

The Fairness in Broadcasting Act of 1987 (H.R. 1934) sprung up immediately after this latter vote to try to turn the Doctrine into law. Then Georgia Congressman Newt Gingrich was one of its 71 co-sponsors.

I can’t for the life of me find the final vote, so I do not know if Gingrich voted for it – though it would be a might strange for someone to co-sponsor a bill and then not say Aye.

I did find a pro-Fairness Doctrine video that says the bill passed the House by a 3-1 margin – and that Gingrich voted for it.

It also passed the Senate – but President Ronald Reagan thankfully then broke out his veto pen.

This was all of course in the midst of the dark days of the Republicans’ 40+ years spent wandering in the House Minority wilderness, so there was rarely any need for any Elephant to sponsor anything – they were an irrelevant species.

The makeup of the 100th Congress was in fact 258 Democrats (59.3%) and just 177 Republicans (40.7%) – an overwhelming Donkey Majority.

Gingrich was not the lone Republican co-sponsor of the Fairness Doctrine – there were a total of twenty-one. Including several names you’ll know – conservatives (Illinois’ Henry Hyde and Phil Crane, California’s Bob Dornan) and…not so much (Mississippi’s Trent Lott).

Make of Gingrich’s co-sponsorship what you will – in the context of some of his other unconservative actions ( Dede Scozzafava, his pro-global warming commercial with Democrat then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and his saying that his philosophy could “involve a very activist government” to name but a few).

Read more here.

Reagan vetoed this nonsense and that was that. Talk radio was born and the rest as they say, is history. Today, within the Obama regime, there is a dedicated group of socialists and communists who want to bring the “Fairness Doctrine” back. Left wingers always want to limit knowledge. So do GOP establishment hacks.

The smarter the electorate is, the less likely they are to fall for their B.S. The Ruling Class can’t have that!

Ironically, it was the defeat of the “Fairness Doctrine,” the birth of talk radio, and Rush Limbaugh, that made Newt Gingrich a household name and GOP “star.”

As a listener from his earliest days, I remember well how Rush put Newt up on a pedestal. He built Newt up and made him seem like a giant to listeners. This led to the Contract With America and the Republican revolution in the House. The first time Republicans controlled the House of Representatives in over 40 years!

Had this genius Gingrich had his way, none of that would have been possible.

Gingrich announced on Monday that he is going to announce on Wednesday that he is running for President. The Ruling Class says Gingrich is the smartest guy they got.

This serial adulterer. This serial betrayer of all things Conservative. This betrayer of the very Constitution itself. This is the establishment’s “best and brightest.”

And we wonder why the Republic is about to slip into the abyss.

God save us from these people.

Unbelievable: Mike Huckabee Calls For Release Of American Traitor Jonathan Pollard

By Gary P Jackson

This is simply unbelievable. Mike Huckabee, while on a trip to Israel, suggests we free a traitor to the United States, Jonathan Pollard, as a show of “friendship” towards Israel.

From the Case Against Jonathan Pollard by Seymour Hersch, which originally appeared in  New York Magazine on January 18, 1999:

In the last decade, Jonathan Pollard, the American Navy employee who spied for Israel in the mid-nineteen-eighties and is now serving a life sentence, has become a cause celebre in Israel and among Jewish groups in the United States. The Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, a consortium of fifty-five groups, has publicly called for Pollard’s release, arguing, in essence, that his crimes did not amount to high treason against the United States, because Israel was then and remains a close ally. Many of the leading religious organizations have also called for an end to Pollard’s imprisonment, among them the Reform Union of American Hebrew Congregations and the Orthodox Union.

Let me get this straight. Jonathan Pollard, someone who betrayed his country, and gave classified information to a foreign nation, should be let go? This man committed high treason. The penalty is supposed to be death. He’s quite lucky he only got life in prison.

According to prosecutors in the case, Pollard made more than $540,000 selling those secrets. And the secrets he passed along were so sensitive that portions of the trial were classified and not made available to the general public. And on top of it all, many of those secrets ended up in the hands of our enemy, the Soviet Union.

There a whole lot more to the story. If you want to read a definitive and well-sourced account of the Pollard case can read more here.

Suffice it to say this guy is a traitor, and should spend the rest of his life in prison.

Thirty-nine (39) Members of Congress have signed a letter requesting clemency (Curiously, they are all Democrats.)

What in the world is Huckabee thinking? I know he thinks he has a shot at the presidency. Does he think pandering like this, and siding with democrats, in a foreign land, will win him votes? With who exactly?

You’d think Huckabee would have learned from the last time he let a dangerous man go free. There are four dead cops as the result of Huckabee’s last “gesture.”

Huckabee is dangerous, and a fool. Criminals are placed in prisons for a reason. Sadly, it seems Huckabee never met a criminal, or a traitor he didn’t want to set free.
