Obama Regime Hires a Convicted Murdering Domestic Terrorist for PR Work and to Attack Opponents, W.T.F?

By Gary P Jackson

The Obama regime has in it’s employ a convicted domestic terrorist. A bomber. I know what you are thinking, but no, it’s not Obama’s best buddy Bill Ayers.

Looking at his record, Brett Kimberlin seems to be a new and improved version, and frankly, a lot more dangerous.

What you are about to read, besides a brief history of this dangerous killer, is the story of systematic harassment, including death threats, to anyone who has exposed him. We have people who have lost their jobs, because their employers were worried about having someone hunted by a convicted terrorist working for them. We have another prominent Conservative who has packed up his family and gone underground after receiving death threats.

There is a lot out there on this guy. His main job for the regime seems to be harassing bloggers with death threats and other actions. Before we get into that, let’s take a quick look at who this terrorist is.

The Blaze has an excellent history lesson on the guy. Here are some highlights:

Meet Soros-Funded Domestic Terrorist Brett Kimberlin Whose ‘Job’ Is Terrorizing Bloggers Into Silence

Drug dealer, alleged child molester, and convicted perjurer, forger and Indiana Speedway Bomber (who is also believed to have played a role in the assassination of a grandmother), Brett Kimberlin, spent 17 years in prison before his ultimate re-absorption into American society.

*He started a non-profit dubbed “Justice Through Music (JTM)” that has, since at least 2005, been funded by George Soros’ Tides Foundation and Barbara Streisand among other leftists

*Along with his associate, Kimberlin also started an organization called “Velvet Revolution” that supports the Occupy movement

*JTM’s goal is to use music to foster “social justice” and fight Republican “voter fraud” (like the kind George Bush allegedly used to “steal” the Florida election)

*Any blogger — conservative and liberal alike — who has written the truth about Kimberlin has come under vicious attack by either Kimberlin or his minions, suffering death threats (veiled and unveiled), multiple lawsuits, loss of jobs and worse

*He has filed over 100 frivolous lawsuits against anything that isn’t nailed down and somehow is being allowed to continue unchecked

*This story has never been reported on in the mainstream media

Be prepared to enter an alternate universe, bizarre beyond any stretch of what you thought possible. And then keep reading, because this may be one of the most important
exposés published on The Blaze to date. It will explain in frightening detail what it means to speak the truth at the expense of losing all you hold dear.

And will reveal how easy it has been for one convicted domestic terrorist — backed by George Soros and Barbara Streisand alike — to use the U.S. legal system, as well as less desirable channels, to silence those who have dared tell the story of one Brett Kimberlin, a.k.a. the “Speedway Bomber.”

How immutable are our First Amendment rights? Would they remain so even under the most dire conditions? There are about half a dozen bloggers who, at this very moment in time, are finding out just that, after having been subject to: death threats, blackmail, extortion, numerous frivolous lawsuits, cyber-attacks of email and social networking accounts and become the target of smear campaigns that have led to their firing until ultimately discovering that others who came before them, have turned up dead.

Move over Ayers, there’s a not-so-new domestic terrorist in town

What follows is the unbelievable yet non-fictional tale of a left-wing ex-con with an extensive rap-sheet who, since his release from prison, has led the crusade against Republican “voter fraud” while simultaneously making it his life’s mission to threaten, brutalize, shakedown, sue, slander and generally terrorize any writer — conservative and liberal alike — who dares speak plainly about his checkered past.

The post is lengthy, as there is much ground to cover where Kimberlin’s past is concerned, but the information is pertinent to understanding how and why he began brutalizing bloggers with whom he disagrees. Following this background, we will review the shocking accounts of two of his latest victims.

For reasons unknown, the far-left seems to have a penchant for throwing their full-fledged support — emotional, political and financial — behind domestic terrorists (see: Bill Ayers) and their latest protege is no exception. Also known as the “Speedway Bomber,” Kimberlin set an Indiana town ablaze with a series of coordinated bombings in 1978, ultimately resulting in one man’s suicide (this was proven in a subsequent court case) after his limbs were irreparably damaged in the explosion.

Kimberlin v. White, 7 F.3d 527 (6th Cir. 1993) relates what happened to the man during the six-day bombing spree.

There’s a whole lot more. Check it out.

Matthew Vadum at Front Page Magazine tells readers that besides George Soros and Barbara Streisand, Teresa Heinz Kerry, wife of 2004 presidential candidate [for the democrat party] John Kerry, is throwing money at this terrorist.

Brett Kimberlin and the hall of fame of leftist terrorists

Convicted cop killer and Black Panthers member Mumia abu Jamal, would-be GOP convention bombers David Guy McKay and Bradley Neil Crowder, ACORN founder and cyber-terrorism advocate Wade Rathke, Obamacare architect and convicted swindler Robert Creamer, Earth Day booster and murderer Ira Einhorn, imprisoned terrorist lawyer Lynne Stewart, Weather Underground leaders Jeff Jones, Bill Ayers, and Bernardine Dohrn, just to name a few.

Speedway Bomber” Brett Kimberlin isn’t famous enough yet to have a cult following on the Left but give the determined, energetic activist time. A few short years after his release from federal prison the radical leftist has been embraced by all the right people, winning grants from the George Soros-funded Tides Foundation and wealthy celebrities.

He’s earned the confidence of leftist luminaries such as Teresa Heinz Kerry and Barbra Streisand who have sent money to his activist group, the Justice Through Music Project. The seven-year-old Bethesda, Maryland-based 501c3 nonprofit entity buys into the radical environmentalist agenda, supports the goals of the Occupy Wall Street movement, and claims to have registered 100,000 people to vote.

Read more about this danger to society here.

Matthew Vadum was interviewed by Canada’s Ezra Levant about Kimberlin’s support from George Soros’ Tides Foundation a bunch of radical environmentalists and anti-energy troublemakers who are terrorizing Canada and trying to stop their domestic production of oil and natural gas.

As you know, Soros has already infiltrated the United States government and accomplishing his goal:

Vadum gives more background on the terrorist, and reports that well respected Conservative blogger Robert Stacy McCain, who wrote an exposé on Kimberlin, has taken his family and gone underground. The terrorist actually phoned McCain’s wife’s workplace. That would scare the hell out of anyone.

You can see the interview Terror in the Tides here.

A. W., who publishes the Allergic to Bull blog has his own story about being threatened by Kimberlin. It’s unbelievable, but must be read.

John Hawkins interviewed Stacy McCain here’s a taste of what is going on:

I don’t know what he said to my wife’s employer. This is privileged information that was not shared with me because of their policies. All I know is that basically that my presence in Maryland was resulting in a perceived danger to others and furthermore, that if I was to continue reporting this story I couldn’t do it from Maryland.

Because why? You thought it would put the family in danger or her work?

Well, the story is a little bit complicated and can be told in depth once the truck is loaded up and moved to Beverly. We still have to finish moving out of our house. My wife has to finish out her work agreement. The situation is delicate.

You’re not going back to your house over this?

I’m in an undisclosed location out of Maryland and it has to do with two or three different things.

But they’re all related to Brett Kimberlin, right?

Exactly…Brett Kimberlin knows where I live; it’s an implicit threat. You can look at Brett Kimberlin’s record as a convicted terrorist. He conspired to kill the prosecuting attorney and at least one key witness in the case against him. That’s according to the Indianapolis Star. You can look it up. You know these are facts that are unrefuted. When someone like that indicates that they know where you live, the threat is implicit. I’m not going to be there anymore. I mean we’re gone. We’re history. We’re out of there.

Read more of this shocking story here.

Patterico has his own story of death threats and other harassment.

You’re about to listen to one of the most bone-chilling pieces of audio you will ever hear. At least, it was to me when I first heard it.

It’s a phone call that could have gotten me killed.

In this post you will hear that audio clip. You will also read about a months-long campaign of harassment carried out by at least three individuals: Ron Brynaert, Neal Rauhauser, and Brett Kimberlin — much of it directed at critics of Brett Kimberlin. This harassment includes repeated references to critics’ family members, workplace complaints, publication of personal information such as home addresses and pictures of residences, bogus allegations of criminal activity, whisper campaigns, frivolous legal actions, and frivolous State Bar complaints.

You know the drill, click here for the complete story.

Before he went underground, Stacy McCain wrote a piece noting that Tides gave this murdering domestic terrorist, and Obama employee, $70,000. Barbara Streisand gave the killer $10,000, and Teressa Heinz Kerry gave him $20,000.

More notable are screen captures of tweets harassing fellow Conservative blogger Greg Howard, with various Obama supporters promising to have sex with his young children. This is seriously evil, and I warn you, quite graphic, but again, a must read.

BTW, you know who warned America about the terrorist? From October of last year.

There’s no way to sugar coat this. These are the same tactics used in Nazi Germany, just updated for the modern age. This is not some random nut either. This is an employee of Barack Obama. He is funded by the crème de la crème of the democrat party. He’s out there registering voters and pushing the regime’s agenda.

This man should have never been released from prison. He doesn’t belong in polite society. He’s a terrorist who is still terrifying American citizens. He’s doing this on behalf of the Obama regime.

This man is phoning in death threats, and his minions are harassing those who expose him, including threatening to rape their children in front of them!

I’ve stated in no uncertain terms that Barack Obama and his Attorney General, Eric Holder, should spend the rest of their lives in prison. They are already accessories to mass murder with their Fast and Furious program. Now this.

I know the feckless Republican Party doesn’t have the guts to have Obama removed from office, and imprisoned. They can’t even get their act together on Eric Holder, who is as guilty as they come.

The American people cannot stand by while this sort of domestic terrorism is allowed to continue unchecked. It’s like we elected Bill Ayers and the rest of the 60s radicals along with Obama.

The American people must demand Barack Obama be held accountable for his actions. Just beating him in November isn’t good enough. He and many members of the regime have committed serious crimes. Their actions have already led hundreds of murders in Mexico, and the murder of at least two federal agents, a capital crime. This is unacceptable.

Of course, we must get this animal, Brett Kimberlin, off the streets. He is a proven danger. A convicted terrorist.

Obama himself signed onto the Patriot Act, and has even said it’s OK to kill American citizens guilty of terrorism. [without due process] I’m not sure I’m for that, but I will say Brett Kimberlin is exactly the sort of terrorist who should already be in chains and on his way to sunny, GITMO, where he can finish out his days.

This Obama regime employee is conducting a direct assault on the first amendment. He is going to extreme measures to shut anyone up who dare dissent. These totalitarian tactics are part and parcel of the democrat party mindset.

Long gone are the days of the reasonable democrat. The party has been complete taken over by the most radical elements of society, and is only getting more radical and unhinged each and every day.

Several things must happen here. First, Brett Kimberlin must be arrested and taken off the streets. Anyone who has been a part of his terror activities must be arrested as accomplices. Get this animal and his cohorts off the streets for good.

Second, voters need to wake the hell up. It’s time to defeat Barack Obama and every democrat and democrat sympathizer up for re-election.

We need strong leaders who will put a stop to these Neo-Nazi, Alinsky on steroids, terror tactics. We need people who, even after Obama is soundly defeated in November, will be ready to bring charges against him.

Obama has committed real crimes, and real people are dead. This can’t stand. Obama has sanctioned Brett Kimberlin and his activities. He must be held accountable for this and well.

This is asking readers to take risks, but damn it, sometimes you must put some skin in the game. Readers need to raise hell with their Congressmen and Senators. Until Obama and Brett Kimberlin, as well as the rest are in custody, raise holy hell with everyone who can, in turn, raise hell on your behalf.

Obama and Brett Kimberlin are a direct threat to the American way of life. We’ve had domestic terrorists, who have bombed public buildings and murdered American citizens , before. See Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. But we have NEVER had a domestic terrorist in the employ of the President of the United States.

This is the kind of crap that goes on in banana republics, not America.

Obama is a two-bit Chicago street thug who has brought that way of life to the American people as a whole. It’s unacceptable and cannot be tolerated any longer.

I got into an argument last night with a large group of Conservatives who are highly upset that Mitt Romney is the nominee, and went on and on telling me how Romney is “exactly like Obama.”

Knowing what Obama has been up to, that’s not even debatable. Mitt Romney would never send guns to Mexican drug lords, making himself an accessory to mass murder. Mitt Romney would never hire a murdering domestic terrorist and allow him to make numerous death threats to dissenters.

If you are one of those who are still pissing and moaning about the outcome of the GOP primaries, my advice to you is: Pull your head out of your ass!

Barack Obama and those he surrounds himself with are the most dangerous people in America. Making sure Obama is defeated in November is every American’s responsibility. To sit on your ass and not do EVERYTHING in your power to make sure this happens is hateful to me.

Obama must go, but more importantly, the Republican leadership needs to grow a pair, and make an example out of him and members of the regime who have committed such heinous crimes.

This cannot be allowed to stand.

Dear John Cornyn and Mitch McConnell This is 100% Your Fault

By Gary P Jackson

You know Texas Senator John Cornyn. He’s the guy in charge of recruiting and helping elect Republican Senators. In 2010 he was under constant fire for backing complete losers such as ex-Florida Governor Charlie Crist, who would eventually leave the party and run as an independent, when it became apparent that Marco Rubio would win the GOP nomination.

The most egregious example of Cornyn’s incompetency came out of Alaska though. Not only did Cornyn back left winger Lisa Murkowski, over Tea Party candidate Joe Miller, when Miller beat Murkowski by a razor thin margin, Cornyn initially backed Murkowski in the recount effort, until catching holy hell from Conservatives.

When Miller was declared victorious, Murkowski left the party and ran as an independent. With backing of democrats, who knew their guy didn’t have a shot, and Republicans who longed for the bad old days when the Corrupt Bastards Club ran Alaska [pre-Sarah Palin] Murkowski won the election.

So how did the Republican elite greet Murkowski, a turncoat who went independent? Why it was old home week, of course. They treated her like she was one of the gang, and allowed her to remain on all of the influential committees along with allowing her to keep her ranking. That, of course, was Mitch McConnell’s doing.

Murkowski is one of those country club “progessive” Republicans who have absolutely nothing in common with most members of the GOP. Her positions are far more in line with the radical democrat party, and so are many of her votes.

As you know, the Obama regime and the media [yes, I know, same thing] are now claiming the Republican Party is now engaged in a War on Women™. It’s ridiculous, but Dear Lisa, as she has done before, is giving aid and comfort to the democrats and their divisive and destructive agenda.

Of course, the far left Huffington Post was all to eager to help Lisa spread her venom:

Lisa Murkowski: ‘It Makes No Sense To Make This Attack On Women

Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) spoke out forcefully in favor of reproductive rights on Wednesday in Homer, Alaska, as many in her party have sought to restrict them.

It makes no sense to make this attack on women,” she said on KBBI AM 890 Public Radio’s Coffee Table program, according to the Homer News. “If you don’t feel this is an attack, you need to go home and talk to your wife and your daughters.

She also said that she would continue to support funding for Planned Parenthood, adding that the courts have affirmed a legal right to an abortion and she stands by that.

Murkowski criticized GOP presidential candidates for not condemning Rush Limbaugh for calling Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke a “slut” and a “prostitute,” which he later apologized for. Fluke was rejected as a witness before a panel on the Obama contraception mandate chaired by House Oversight And Government Reform Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) last February.

To have those kind of slurs against a woman … you had candidates who want to be our president not say, ‘That’s wrong. That’s offensive.’ They did not condemn the rhetoric,” she said.

[ …. ]

Murkowski, however, voted for the failed Blunt Amendment last month along with all but one Republican, which would have allowed employers to refuse to cover contraception or any other health service for moral reasons. She later said she regretted her vote and wouldn’t do it again if she had the chance.

It’s all about making sure we continue the slaughter millions of innocent children with these people. No one must stand in the way of this barbaric ritualistic killing.

I blame John Cornyn, Mitch McConnell and the rest of the GOP elites for this woman. She should have been shown the door the second she showed up in Washington as an “independent.”

The democrats put her back in office, they can have her!

We are in the middle of the biggest struggle in America’s history. We are fighting for the very soul of the nation, for it’s very survival, and here is this woman standing with those who are destroying the very fabric of our society.

This is why we need to clean house in Washington, and throw them all out.

The Republican leadership, such that it is, will never learn. People like Lisa Murkowski can never be trusted. They are not one of us. But that doesn’t stop the elites from embracing her and those like her anyway.

John Cornyn is my Senator, and while he votes the way I would want him to, and frankly, I like the guy, he’s totally the wrong one to be picking winners and losers in candidates. His record is terrible.

America deserves better.

No, Mitt Romney Didn’t “Praise” Hezbollah’s Health Care System

By Gary P Jackson

Let me start out by saying I really like Pamela Geller. She is good people. She is one of the leaders in fighting against radial Islam. However, here she is just wrong. At least about the facts from this 2007 video, when Romney was running for president :

It’s pretty easy to understand what Romney is saying here. He was asked about the efforts of George W Bush to eradicate AIDS in Africa. Bush spent more money fighting AIDS than any president. A noble effort. It also bought America a whole lot of good will in Africa.

The lady in the video asks if he would continue Bush’s support of humanitarian efforts around the world. During his answer Mitt mentions the fact that after elections in Lebanon, Hezbollah showed up with all kinds of aid. They built hospitals, gave people free health care and so on. Now OF COURSE this bought the terrorists a lot of good will.

Mitt didn’t praise Hezbollah, he simply used them as an example. Now if it had been me, I would have noted they were terrorists, and added one of the reasons the United States should be helping where it can, is to counterbalance groups like Hezbollah, who do offer people social services in many countries, in order to buy goodwill and support. But that’s just me.

If anything, Mitt is guilty of assuming his audience “got” what he meant, and we all know what happens when one assumes.

You can accuse Mitt of being inarticulate all day long. He is. Never seen a guy who was better at starting a good thought, but never finishing it, as Mitt Romney. But that’s his problem here, not that he’s supporting Hezbollah.

I’ve said over and over the last few months that I’m not a Mitt Romney fan, but I find myself defending him a lot lately over things like this, and Newt’s despicable ads in Florida claiming Mitt supports Castro.

Call Mitt dumb and I’ll stand with you. Call him inarticulate and I’ll stand with you. But don’t take things out of context.

All of these candidates for president are flawed. Flawed enough that one doesn’t have to do this sort of thing to hammer any of them. We shouldn’t do this to any candidate.

Pamela may be right about Romney and his overall cluelessness about radical Islam, but she’s off base with the video.

So Who Is Exactly Is Running For President, Michele Bachmann or Her Husband?

By Gary P Jackson

Every day we find something new about Michele Bachmann that just creeps us out. Each story more bizarre than the last.

Here we have Bachmann from 2006 going on and on about the bible saying a woman must be submissive to her husband, and how she didn’t want to go to the various schools she did, but Marcus told her to. Then she says she didn’t want to run for Congress, but Marcus pushed her to do that too.

From Right Speak:

In a stunning video, the Tea Party titan says she follows the biblical rule that women should obey their husbands. But, Jill Lawrence asks, isn’t that a problem for a presidential candidate?

The Lord says be submissive. Wives, you are to be submissive to your husbands.” – Michele Bachmann, October 2006.

Read more and watch the video here.

Tell me that doesn’t freak you out!

The obvious question is Bachmann running for President because she honestly thinks she can make a difference, or to please her husband? I mean seriously, Bachmann is the most ill prepared to be president our side has put up in a long time. A tissue paper thin resume, and no executive experience of any kind.

The second obvious question is who will actually be President, Michele or her husband?

I’m sorry, a President needs significant executive experience, and along with that experience, a long list of POSITIVE achievements. Things that actually benefited those she served. The President also has to be her own person. Someone who is in charge. A true leader, not just an empty vessel for her spouse to live vicariously through.

Bachmann continues to raise more and more questions than there are answers. One thing is for certain, she is not the right person to lead this nation back to prosperity and greatness. Neither is Marcus.

Jon Huntsman’s First (and hopefully last) Campaign Commercial

By Gary P Jackson

Jon Huntsman is one of the “saviors” the GOP establishment is hanging their hats on. Huntsman is the former Utah governor who quit his job to work for the Obama regime as the Ambassador to China. Evidently, when not cozying up to the Chi-coms on behalf of our Marxist president, Huntsman spent a lot of free time plotting against his boss.

Huntsman then quit THAT job, this time to run against Obama, as get this a “Republican“!

Yeah, it is all so confusing.

Huntsman, a young Mitt Romney clone, thinks health care is a “right” [as do all good commies] wants “universal health care,” and recently said he believes in the global warming hoax because “90% of ‘scientists’ do.

Oh my.

Enjoy it while you can, because despite what our “betters” in the Republican elite would like for you to think, Huntsman is the biggest non-starter to ever consider at run at the GOP nod!

Looks Like Romney is Channeling John Kerry With His Presidential Announcement

By Gary P Jackson

Well, at least he isn’t talking about “Winning The Future” but still …. WTF?

As you know, Romney launched his presidential bid on Monday. [on the eve of the fifth anniversary of RomneyCare no less] Romney’s slogan is a pretty lame “Believe In America.” Yeah, Mitt, the problem is not enough people believe in America, right? Pathetic.

Of course, if this slogan sounds familiar, it’s because you’ve heard it before, from another Massachusetts liberal, John Kerry. “Believe In America” was the theme of John Kerry’s losing presidential bid. You’d think if Mitt was gonna borrow a campaign slogan from someone, it would have at least been a winning one!

Look, I know thinking up a catchy slogan can be hard, especially when you are they type that focus groups and poll tests every move you make, but still.

Here’s the thing. I think Romney chose to borrow this from liberal John Kerry because liberal is Romney’s default position. His father, George Romney was an eastern liberal and a member of the Republican establishment. Like father like son.

Every time I see the photo below of Romney laughing it up with Teddy Kennedy, as his signs the nation’s first socialized medicine legislation into law, I ask myself: Why is Romney a Republican? You look at the guy’s record and wonder why he isn’t in the democrat party where he belongs. As Governor he acted like a democrat, and is the father of socialized medicine in America.

With his record, he’d have more credibility if he ran as a democrat and primaried Obama! After all, he’s using a fellow democrat’s slogan. He’s obviously more comfortable with eastern liberals than Conservative America.

Why is the Left Promoting Michele Bachmann?

By Stacy Drake

Suzy Khimm, a writer from the left-wing site Mother Jones, published an article on Friday titled “Bachmann vs. Palin: Who’s the Better 2012 Candidate?” The piece presents both Bachmann and Governor Palin as “hard-right Republican firebrands” in the beginning, then heads down a much different path. Khimm writes (emphasis mine):

But though Palin and Bachmann may seem like GOP doppelgangers, there’s a lot separating them as well. And the differences have led a growing chorus of Beltway watchers to conclude that Bachmann would actually be the more credible candidate of the two. Having watched the Minnesota congresswoman on the trail for years, Minnesota political operatives on both sides of the aisle warn against simply laughing off Bachmann. “You underestimate Michele Bachmann at your own peril,” says Zach Rodvold, the campaign manager for her Democratic opponent in 2010.

Gee, doesn’t that line from Zach Rodvold sound familiar? Former opponents of Governor Palin have also sounded such alarms. They aren’t alone. In fact, a lot of people have warned rivals not to underestimate the governor, including former presidents.

Bill Parker, a well-known Alaska Democrat once saidshe came out of nowhere and beat us like a drum.

Khimm’s piece goes on to list the reasons why she thinks Bachmann is a better candidate for Conservatives to “rally behind.” She states that “Bachmann’s an organizer,” then she downplays Governor Palin’s popularity as solely being “built on the celebrity status and enormous platform she gained as Sen. John McCain’s running mate.”As a supporter of Governor Palin’s BEFORE John McCain picked her to be his running mate in 2008 – based in Southern California of all places – I reject the writer’s statement outright.

Governor Palin was a rare voice pushing for better energy policies in this nation, when I first started following her career in 2007. After learning about how she took on the corrupt establishment of her own party, the governor had me organized, if you will. I followed her lead in writing a letter to Harry Reid arguing in favor of opening ANWR. That’s natural leadership. Certainly Bachmann’s organizational and speaking abilities are commendable, but they shouldn’t be hyped in an effort to downplay Governor Palin’s long, successful career.

The next item in Khimm’s piece states that “Bachmann has a sense of humor.” She then, amazingly writes:

In the wake of the Tucson shooting, Palin accused her critics of “blood libel” after she was attacked for putting crosshairs on a 2010 campaign map, igniting yet another media firestorm. Palin’s addiction to feuding has made her enemies on both sides of the aisle.

Did you get that? Governor Palin doesn’t have a sense of humor because she didn’t find it humoroushow the left and their lapdogs in the press were accusing her of being an accessory to murder. That was supposed to be a joke, don’t you know. Somehow, not only did Governor Palin not get the joke, but it flew over the Tea Party’s head too. Considering they were also accused of being accessories to a slaughter. All while, with the exception of a couple of Republican senators, the GOP remained utterly silent. Nobody was laughing.

Khimm’s third point as to why Michele Bachmann is better for Conservatives than Palin is that “Bachmann’s better at thinking on her feet.” To prove her point, the writer proclaims that Governor Palin had “missteps” after being “thrust onto the national stage,” then concedes that Bachmann “hasn’t been put under the same national magnifying glass.” Leaving aside the location of the Battles of Concord and Lexington, Khimm goes on to quote Bachmann’s congressional opponent mentioned earlier, Zach Rodvold’s campaign manger saying “she sounds knowledgeable, she sticks to her message, and repeats it.” If you’re trying to prove that somebody is good at thinking on their feet, why would you add a quote that indicates that person is choreographed? That’s a less than convincing argument.

Khimm’s forth item on the list states that “Bachmann knows how to use the national media.” I’m starting to wonder if that’s not the other way around…

Khimm writes about Governor Palin’s relationship with the media, the way you can imagine any left-wing writer would write about the topic. But then, she praises Bachmann for her many appearances on MSNBC. The last time I checked, Michele Bachmann wasn’t photoshopped on to a different woman’s body, who was wearing a bikini, then had that image used as if it were a regular news graphic on MSNBC. I also don’t recall MSNBC pushing conspiracies about Bachmann motivating a massacre. I could waste my entire weekend citing examples of things said and done to Governor Palin on MSNBC, that they have not done to any other public figure.

Then there’s the matter of Governor Palin being a Fox New contributor. As with all other Fox contributors, the governor is no doubt restricted by her contract from appearing on other networks. She appeared on CNN, NBC, and others before she signed a contract with Fox. To criticize her for not going on MSNBC is about as fair as criticizing her for not knowing how to surf, considering she grew up in Alaska. There are many reasons why Governor Palin (like most of the country) avoids that MSNBC.

Last but not least, on Khimm’s list of Bachmann’s conservative attributes is “Bachmann’s not a quitter.” Because what self-respecting liberal can write a whole article about Governor Palin without writing the word “quitter.” Khimm doesn’t tell her readers why Governor Palin resigned. Instead she claims the governor gave “the distinct impression that she didn’t care for the dirty work of governing.” She then tries to connect it by writing that Bachmann never resigned her House seat to pursue higher office. Why would she have? Bachman hasn’t been hampered from governing like Governor Palin was by a cluster-storm of frivolous lawsuits (some for doing interviews with the media, by the way). Bachmann hasn’t had to deal with a full-court press against her from a national political party. She hasn’t had her state’s business put on hold, her constituents tax-dollars spent to deal with an onslaught of operative tactics.

Apples and oranges, Suzy. Apples and oranges.

The non-stop comparisons between Governor Palin and Michele Bachmann are somewhat irritating, but when columnists start touting a favorite, they becomes suspect. Suzy Khimm isn’t alone pushing this agenda, so expect to see more of it. Beware of left-wingers giving advice to Conservatives. Their advice will never be in our best interest.

Perhaps they know something more about Bachmann’s electability than they’re letting on. If you think about it, we know little about Bachmann’s life. The media has not gone after her in the same way they have gone after Governor Palin (and don’t get me wrong, I’m not wishing such a fate on anyone; though it will happen eventually to whomever the nominee is when Obama’s machine goes after that person).

Bachmann’s voting record, some of the things she has said, her family, are all relatively untouched in comparison to the governor, and the left knows it. They have managed to throw everything they have at Governor Palin, expose every detail (real or made-up) about of her life, even accuse her of mass murder, and still, the governor stands tall above their feeble efforts to diminish her. They know what a true threat Governor Palin is to their power and their agenda. They don’t promote people who have the capacity to damage them in either arena.
