Lt Col. Allen West On Barack Obama: “I can’t stand the guy. I absolutely can’t stand him.”

Lt . Col. Allen West is one of our favorite Conservatives, bar none. This guy tells it like it is, and pulls no punches. It’s no wonder he was one of the American Heroes that Sarah Palin has endorsed for Congress.

In the video below, courtesy of The Right Scoop, West discusses illegal immigration. Some quotes:

My compassion starts with the American people, cause I believe one thing. There are 3 types of people that should be here in this country: Americans, those people that want to be Americans, and those people we invite here as our guests. Other than that, you don’t deserve to be here

[….]

See our government wants to castigate us as the enemy. Our President went down and said that the problem is here in the United States of America. Well, you know, let’s face it. Wherever he goes he’s going to apologize for this country. I can’t stand the guy. I absolutely can’t stand him.

Allen West gets it. No better illustration of this is his quote from Teddy Roosevelt on Americans. We should never have hyphenated Americans. You are either an American, or not. We really do not have room for divided loyalties. Frankly, this is Barack Obama’s problem. He is not loyal to the United States. In fact, he is anything but. His hatred for the Nation, and it’s people, is on display daily.

Lt. Col. West is a true leader, and an American Hero. This is exactly the kind of people we need in Congress if we are going to save this nation.

Much like Sarah Palin, Lt. Col. West speaks his mind and is not afraid to take anyone on.

The video below is West is giving a rousing speech at the opening of his campaign headquarters. While the entire speech is just awesome, the payoff comes at the end when he says once elected he is going to walk up to Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, and tell her: “Give me that damned gavel!

We need to support this man. He is the sort we need in Congress. Please visit Allen’s website here to donate to his campaign, and follow him on Facebook and Twitter.

You should also check the speech he gave last year at a Tea Party that became a viral video on YouTube with over 2 million viewers.

Lt.Col. West is the kind of person we need! I would vote for this man for president! Anyone who sees the Light about what the Kenyan Bastard truly is – has to be Decent people! This man has served his country Honorably, has Obambi? This man loves America, does Obambi?

Flush the Washington Toilet of Demon Feces in November!

2011 – Investigate, Impeach, and Imprison Barrack Hussein Obama! BHO = Bad Horrible Odor!

    • Elda

Bill well said…We need heroes like col. West that service our country with honor defending our rights and our constitution. It os time to impeach those people at the White House. We our proud Americans, we don’t need to go around the world to make excuses !

    • marge

      Totally agree.

    • Shayleah

West is for sure, the best. Beaten Hated Outahere!! Bad Horrible Odors must be removed and neutralized for their offenses- agreed.

    • West is just as bad as Obama. West supports the unconstitutional NDAA, Patriot Act, Federal Reserve bailouts, ect…..

      • Gary P Jackson

You’re a complete and total idiot. West is a hero, Obama is an anti-American communist.

      • kim hernandez

Randy, Randy, Randy….they are nothing alike! West is an AMERICAN…through and through….unlike your president!

    • I really love the way everyone who says the right things, are always voted for president……

LTC West has it right. The problem isn’t that we need him as President, we need him to lead the REST of us against our government, and STAY in that position to deter further transgressions.

You don’t promote the most valuable people at their level when they excel at the job, you keep em workin at that job because they do it best.

  2. Chris Barnes

Forget Congress – we need Col. West in the WHITE HOUSE.

    • Bondagebreaker

Chris that was my thought also .

    • Him and Rand Paul… Get these fools (Congress) to review laws on the books back a hundred years, and cull the ones that are chipping away at our rights off the books. Then, second term, go back through, and write the damn things in ENGLISH–not legalese double speak. It would give them something to do other than MAKE UP LAWS FOR NO REASON! I mean, looking at the recent legislation, who had too much time on their hands to come up with CISPA–for what? The NDAA–for what?? So many other things. They should be in Washington, every day, all of them, working to get us back to the Constitution, that is the cornerstone of the Government, and our laws. Seriously!

  3. “We should never have hyphenated Americans. You are either an American, or not.”

This does not bode well for Jews.

    • Gary P

      What are you talking about??

We’re not talking about hyphenated names like “Smith-Jones” or whatever. We’re talking about nonsense like “Irish-American” or “African-American” or “Native-American” That’s divisive, and promotes divisiveness. There is only room for Americans. One cannot have divided allegiance to our country. The whole concept of America is the fact we are one big melting pot. Hence our motto: e pluribus unum “from many, one”

The radical left promotes the concept of hyphenated Americans for the reason that it automatically divides, and sets up barriers between people. A divided people are easier to conquer.

      • I realize we are talking about hyphenated identities, not names. But please, what pray tell does this mean for American Jews? There is a reason that in nearly all Jewish literature, even today, there is talk of “American Jews” and “British Jews” and “Chinese Jews” as opposed to “Jewish Americans”, “Jewish Brits”, and “Jewish Chinamen”. For the Jews, “American” is a modifying adjective.

      • Gary P

Look, people have their heritage. The wonderful thing about America is you are free to celebrate it. Where I live, in Texas, we have a significant Mexican, German, and Czech population. All of these folks celebrate who they are. It helps shape the character of our state and our nation. But in the end, we are all Americans. We all hold our allegiance to the United States.

The big problem we are having now, with the massive illegal immigration problem, is the fact these people DO NOT want to be Americans. Their first allegiance is to their home country, like Mexico, or their religion, Islam. This is exacerbated by the want to divide Americans by hyphenating. It may seem silly to some, but by doing this, it sets up all sorts of barriers and divisions.

If you were born here, or have become a naturalized citizen, you are an American, period.

If you are of Jewish decent, that changes nothing. You should celebrate that. But remember too, you are part of the greatest nation on earth.

      • The way I see it, hyphenated identities are a problem only when they interfere with each other.

I’ll admit that my allegiance to the Jewish people comes before my allegiance to America. But then again, as a libertarian, I like to believe my allegiance is to the same principles as the Founding Fathers adhered to. My political theories are basically the same as those of the Calvinists and Reformed Christians, except that my specific religious views are Orthodox Jewish ones.

So the only way I can see a conflict between my Jewishness and my Americanness is if Jews defect from Judaism or if America defects from the Constitution.

      • Gary P

There is indeed no conflict between your religion and America. In fact, one expects that God comes before everything, including ones self. However, if you follow the Founding Fathers, as you say, you know they would be totally against the hyphenated American. These men fought and died to create the greatest nation on earth and would be mightily offended if someone who claimed to be American would also claim allegiance to another country. It’s why they put the “natural born citizen” clause in the Constitution regarding the eligibility of the president. One can have only one allegiance.

I’m not sure what being a libertarian has to do with anything.

Anyhow, I agree with our founders, Teddy Roosevelt and others. We have no room in America for those who would divide their loyalty, and the nation. I also agree that we only have two kinds of people. Americans, and guests of our nation. Those who do not wish to be Americans, or come here uninvited show find the closest exit, and leave.

      • Your problem seems to be very similar to that which many Calvinists in colonial America had with the Catholics. I like to think my adherence to Judaism before Americanism is similar to how the Calvinists would have put Christianity before America. But this is different than how a Catholic would have – or would have been suspected of, at least – putting a hierarchical authority – viz. the Pope – and one entirely uninterested with America, before America.

      • By the way, I am a libertarian, not someone on the radical left. I just happen to be a libertarian American Jew.

      • Gary P

I understand. Wasn’t implying you were. Talking about the crazed left.

      • Barry D

I agree with Gary. Additionally, why is someone who is 1/2, 1/4 or even 1/8 black called black? What would be wrong with mixed race? That term would be far more accurate, as well as inclusive, regardless of what percent content of any race or races a person might be.

      • Gary P

Race is the big divider, and the radical left uses it as a weapon. This greatly harms minorities and causes bad blood. The left doesn’t care, as long as it gives them power.

Dr Martin Luther King had it right. Judge a man by the content of his character, not the color of his skin.

Myself? I have, to the best of my knowledge Scots-Irish and Cherokee blood from my dad’s side, and German and French from my mother. All I care about is that I’m an American.

      • Nancy

You are absolutely right. I’ve never seen it written so PERFETLY!!!!!!

      • marge

Gary, many people have felt this way, still do. But, our polititians use names like this to divide and conquer….If All Americans stand together and we can keep America free.

      • Gary P

        Exactly! Both sides.

Hyphenated Americans are divided Americans. There is only one America.

    • Chana

I’m Jewish and I am American FIRST. I’m not an Israeli.

    • Earth To Michael

      He’s talking about: African-Americans, Italian-Americans, Latin-American etc.

I don’t see what “the Jews” have to with it Ssheesh!

    • Emily

Says who? Many lawyers I worked with in Broward County FL were Jewish, and I never heard one say he was a ‘Jewish American.’ As a matter of fact, I never heard a black person say he/she was an Afro-American or whatever. This hyphenation stuff is not personal, it is public media stuff. Maybe life is different where you are?

      • marge

Terms like African-American or Irish-American…were used to belittle and control, not by the media…It is Politics at its worst.

    • Connie

This doesn’t bode well for anyone that has roots from any other country..I have a lineage to everyone from Egyptians to the Scottish. I don’t think that a person’s acknowledgment of where they are from..where their roots lay..Is a divided Loyalty. I think that it’s their heritage..My husband is Palestinian and I would never tell my children not to acknowledge that part of themselves. When you deny who you are, you lose yourself. President Obama has denied who is is many times. I think that people should be able to be who they want. Whether it’s African-American, Asian-American, Arab American, Hebrew American..You shouldn’t ever be ashamed of the identity you are born to. and you should never be afraid to claim the country that you live in, the country that supports your family, the country that protects your rights. People immigrate here to have freedoms and rights that they wouldn’t have in their own countries. Its not fair to ask them to leave behind who they are and their traditions to be “Americans” The only true Americans are Native Americans the rest are all hyphenated Americans!

      • Gary P

Sadly, you’ve missed the point. America was always known as the “great melting pot” where people from all over the world came, to be Americans.

The rich culture from all of these people helped shape the nation. They added to it. Strengthened it. Added texture and richness to our culture.

Here in Texas our rich heritage is influenced not only by it’s Mexican, French, and native American roots, but in the German and Czech people’s culture who settled here. In fact, the Germans who settled South Texas actually influenced some traditionally Mexican music.

The point of the all of this is to say YES, we can celebrate everyone’s heritage, but at the end of the day, we are all Americans. Not hyphenated Americans, just Americans. Dividing people up into subgroups creates natural divisions in a nation that was never designed to have any. We are all equal. All Americans.

E pluribus unum …. out of many, one.

    • Jewish is a Religion… It isn’t hyphenated. African-American. Mexican-American. Chinese-American. Native-American. Why is it, I am white, and just called an American? Interesting. All Americans should be JUST Americans. It doesn’t matter where you came from, if you live here now, and want to stay here, and call this your home, you are an American. When Terrorists have captured us abroad, do they call us by the prefixes? NO, we are “Americans’. They will treat us the same regardless of what our ethnic background is. That hyphenated thing is a good point!

  4. Hugh

Wow, now that’s an inspiring candidate! I donated to his campaign and I’ll follow him on fb.

I’d like to add a word of caution about how we refer to Obama and his followers. We all need to remember that comments we write in blogs or make in public should be designed to persuade the middle, not preach to the converted. We’re angry about where Obama is taking the country, but we’re not an angry mob. I don’t think ‘the middle’ will follow an angry mob.

We’ve got to convince independents that our opposition to this administration is principled and correct.

  5. I wish your blog had a “like” button because I’d be clicking it! Lt.Col. West does indeed sound like our kind of person: Libertarian. Thank you for sharing this news. 🙂

    • I think he is Tea Party(?) But, I think the two are so close in thought and common goals…getting back to the basics of smaller government, without the wide reaching intrusion into every aspect of our lives. The Constitution is what is important, and this President is using it for toilet paper–daily!

  6. Paulette

Definitely need conservatives who stand up for what they believe, and don’t mind speaking out for we, the people, of the United States of America…

  7. noodles

Lt Col, you sir are just the type our contry needs in the capital.
With you on the ticket with Sarah it would be a hands down win.

After he gets that gavel from Nancy he need use it on her it may improve her looks. Hell she’s so ugly the gavel may jump from his hand and bolt for cover she scared it so much. This is a good man here. I am a Navy vet and I think we need more ex-military people in office. For one you can trust them more then you can a career criminal oh sorry I meant politician. Two they will believe in a strong military and not try to weaken it. They will have the peoples best interest in mind. Three they don’t take shit off nobody no more saying were sorry to the world or bowing to a leader that owes his nation very existence to us.

  9. tttt9erfan

Lt. Col. Allen West for President! This guy needs an “A” ticket straight into the oval office.

  10. Kristy Winders Osterholtz

    Sir,

I wish I were in your district so I could vote. Believe me, you have my support!

  11. Did you see those wings on his left breast?

Let’s say I break into your house

Recently large demonstrations have taken place across the country protesting the fact that Congress is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration.

Certain people are angry that the US might protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay indefinitely.

Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests.
Let’s say I break into your house.
Let’s say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave.

But I say, ‘No! I like it here. It’s better than my house. I’ve made all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors. I’ve done all the things you don’t like to do. I’m hard-working and honest (except for when I broke into your house).

    According to the protesters:

You are Required to Let me stay in your house
You are Required to feed me
You are Required to add me to your family’s insurance plan
You are Required to Educate my kids
You are Required to Provide other benefits to me & to my family

My husband will do all of your yard work because he is also hard-working and honest. (except for that breaking in part).

If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my RIGHT to be there.

It’s only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I’m just trying to better myself. I’m a hard-working and honest, person, except for well, you know, I did break into your house
And what a deal it is for me!!!

I live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of cold, uncaring, selfish, prejudiced, and bigoted behavior.

Oh yeah, and I DEMAND that you learn MY LANGUAGE!!! so that you can communicate with me.

Why can’t people see how ridiculous this is?!

America is populated and governed by idiots.

  13. Craig

Hey why does a defend Democrat ad pop up on the video?

  14. Friends, if you really do love, admire, respect and pray that Col. West is elected, please go to his website and donate money; stand with him, please! Whether you can only give $5.00 or much more, do something. It costs millions of dollars to advertise properly. One million people donating $5.00 equals how much? That is Five Million Dollars. Now, let’s do it. I sent mine already but I urge you to do the same. Thanks and God Bless America.

  15. Just Bob

Thank God that Allen West is not an African American; just an American.

  16. john johnson

My daughter just came into my office and I viewed
one of your videos. I was pleasantly surprised and shocked at the same time that someone out there still maintained our values as Americans…I will follow your progress and will vote for you in the future, hopefully as a presidental candidate.

  17. This man is the “real deal”!!

May God bless Lt. Col. Allen West on the stance he is taking to save the sovereignty of our great nation. As a flag waving American veteran that had the privilege and honor of wearing both the Navy and Marine Corps uniforms as a Doc deployed with the Marines during the Vietnam war, I salute this man, and agree with him completly. Never have I had such disdain for the person occupying the oval office as I do Obama. I cannot bring myself to call him my President, nor am I able to refer to Obama as a man. I truly believe there is a great difference of a member of the male gender and a man. It is my opinion he does not deserve to be referred to as either of the aformentioned comment. I only wish is I were able to vote for Lt. Col. West and that General Colin Powell had ran for President in the last election. I have no doubt the great American would have won, and our nation would not be in the terrible situation it is today. May God bless and save the U.S.A.

    • Brian

Your President Bush got us here! Your American corporations like Halliburton and Chrysler and AIG put us in this mess. Amazing how shortsighted “you” people are. Democrat president for 8 years budget surplus. (Clinton) Republican president for 8 years biggest deficit in history and a war that he had no exit plan for. So now all of a sudden it’s Obama’s fault after 18 months in office. Why don’t you wake up and smell what you’re shoveling.

      • Gary P

Dude, that bullshit might fly up in Chicago, but it doesn’t work here.

The only reason Clinton had a balanced budget is because the REPUBLICAN controlled Congress forced it on him. (after he vetoed it) Of course, he forced budget cuts to the military, and totally ignored the war on terror. Missed three chances to kill Bin Laden. I mean the guy was in the sniper’s sights and Clinton said no! One time he was too busy being serviced by Lewinski!

So, thanks to Billy Jeff, a bunch of crazies flew into buildings in NY and DC on 9/11 killing thousands and touching off two wars. Since Billy Jeff had gutted the military, one had to spend some money.

That tool Jimmy Carter did the same thing, forcing Reagan to rebuild the military. All worthless Marxist-democrats do it. They cannot be trusted, ever.

As far as Haliburton, is that all you losers got? I mean seriously, it makes you look stupid. Under Obama and Marxist-democrat control, Haliburton has more no bid contracts than ever! The fact is, Haliburton is the only company in the world that provides certain services. Deal with it.

As far as deficit, you really need to put down the crack pipe! The deficit was roughly $500 billion under Bush, with less than 5 percent unemployment. It’s over 3 TRILLION now under Obama, and projected to go to 12 TRILLION. unemployment in some areas is 25 percent! It’s double nationally over what it was under Bush.

Remember, the Marxist-democrats took control of Congress 4 years ago, and have controlled the budget. It was after they took over, the wheel came off the wagon. Since those crooks took office, the economy crashed.

Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac two Marxist-democrat projects caused that. Bush and the Republicans tried 39 separate times to stop that, but every time the race hustlers and ACORN thugs would scream that it was racist to make people actually have a job and money to own a home, and then the Marxist-democrats in Congress stopped the Republicans from fixing the problem.

Obama was one of the biggest crooks who took money from Fannie and Freddie. Nothing but a Chicago street thug. Now that he’s in office, with the rest of the communists, he’s not just doubled down, or tripled down on Fannie and Freddie, he’s quadrupled down on the lunacy!

Obama has already spent more money than all of the other 43 presidents in history combined. He has destroyed the nation. and still working at it. The nation will not survive another two years of Obama.

When we take back Congress in November, one the first pieces of business will be drawing up articles of impeachment. Obama will be enjoying an extended stay in the graybar hotel. He is a criminal. A criminal who has destroyed the nation and pissed on the Constitution.

      • marge

you are absolutely on the mark.

      • Traci Maraviov

Have you forgotten the surplus during Clinton’s years was due to the Republican’s being in control. While Clinton was busy with Miss ?

  24. Allen must be upsetting Obama – because one by one, black Americans are starting to wake up, and when they hear Allen, they think, ‘hmm, this guy isn’t an Uncle Tom. He’s speaking the truth.’

Truth: One thing Obama cannot stand up to.

  25. FGM

I was lucky enough to meet Lt.Col. West last year and it certainly was an honor. I am happy to say that he was not in uniform at the time. I think it would be inappropriate to see the Lt.Col. dressed in his military uniform, as is prominent in the pic at the top of this article.

Out of respect for the uniform and the office of Commander in Chief, military attire should not be worn by personnel bashing a president.

    • Gary P

Good point, simply the best photo we had at the time.

West is indeed an honorable man, and if you noticed in the video, he was not in uniform.

We can’t wait to see him take on Congress.

Many of us in uniform, are praying that LT. COL West runs and wins the Presidency. It is time to stop the tyranny from within, we need real leadership that we can trust. It is time to stop bowing down to other countries, it is time we get another true patriot in the White House. West is relevant and substantial, he understands the issues and problems facing this country and our military. As a Soldier, I would follow him into the depths of hell if asked.

It is time for the USA to get some real hope and change, not empty promises.

    • Gary P

Allan West is a true American hero. Not sure he’s ready for the Presidency, but I bet he would be on a certain Mama Grizzly’s short list for VEEP!

The more you know about him the better you like him. Keep up with him on Facebook. He went to D.C. to work and that is exactly what he is doing. He’s a real leader.

  33. Traci Maraviov

I love this man he has served our country. Isn’t this the reason our President is called Commander and Chief .He has earned the right to help in the decision making for this Country. On the other hand I read an article claiming Hawaii can not release Obama’s Birth Certificate. Only Obama can so why doesn’t he ? Clear up the question Mr. Obama were you born in the United States? If the answer was “Yes” would anyone believe him after his track record so far? No!

Yeah, screaming “racist” is the last refuge of tyrants. They seek to halt all conversation/criticism of their evil agendas. It’s pure evil.

  38. k

sour grapes. And if his ideas are so great, why does he need the uniform to make him look legit (top photo). Uniformed personnel are not allowed to be political activists. And when they do (or someone does it for them) they disgrace the uniform. So he didn’t like his (former) boss, Commander in Chief. So what – quit you’re whining. Many bosses I hated. Didn’t have to go to a press conference about it. And, btw, maybe voters realized that only an idiot would be so oppositional. Real public servants work with all parties to solve real problems, not belly ache, point fingers and call names. BTW, real leaders in the service ALSO solve real problems, so maybe he got out because he ran out of options for promotion.

    • Gary P Jackson

WE chose the photo of West because WE like it. As for your idea that “uniformed personnel are not allowed to be political activists” I suggest you go buy a clue somewhere.

Obama was NEVER West’s boss. Obama was still a corrupt senator when West was serving honorably in the military.

As for “working with all parties to solve problems” that would be just fine but democrats don’t want to work out problems. They have a radical anti-American agenda, and with them it’s all or nothing.

The only way for America to survive is to defeat liberalism, send it to the ash heap of history where it belongs. As long as the current democrat party exists, America is in grave danger.

    • Trolling? Right, because I have a differing viewpoint. Mm-kay.
Sarah Palin is a tool, period. She knows absolutely NOTHING about the world around us… She has the IQ of… Bush, actually. 3rd grade, somewhere around that.

      • Gary P Jackson

Read our comment policy. Trolling, stupidity and so on are frowned upon.

You don’t have “a different viewpoint” you are just a hate spewing liberal. That’s all you people have to offer the world.

Look, we get it, you are a complete idiot and a democrat, but I repeat myself. Like most idiot liberals, you can’t handle the fact that Sarah Palin was an incredibly successful Mayor, energy regulator, and Governor. Now she’s a twice over best selling author, was the executive producer of a highly rated [it broke viewership records] travel/adventure series, and is a political kingmaker. Hell, Mediaite, a left wing group, ranks Sarah Palin as the most influential person in politics.

Like most democrats, you project your ignorance and stupidity on others.

I’d work towards educating you, as knowledge is the only cure for ignorance, but judging from the “quality” of your posts, it’s easy to see you’d just rather wallow in your hatred and ignorance. Typical of a democrat, as well.

        Now be gone troll.

      • Oh, but it’s somehow okay to call me names? And I’m no liberal, definitely not a Democrat. I’m very well-educated, have been to over 70 countries and also served this country for 6 years, wounded twice, so you can stop the condescending right there. What I am against is divisive politics and rhetoric. Divide and conquer is the name of the game, and congratulations on shoehorning yourself into a predictable and myopic stance on issues. Blindly supporting a party – ANY party – is nearsighted and requires zero thought process.

You’re against “divisive politics, but bring nothing but hate and lies to the table. You define “divisive politics” you silly little democrat. Your Palin Derangement Syndrome is so bad you should seek professional mental health treatments.

As for “party over principle” if you weren’t such an ignorant hatemongering liberal, you’d know that NONE of our writers, including yours truly, are Republicans. NONE of us. We’re all Conservatives here.

You hate Palin, so you are too stupid to know that she took down the entire corrupt Republican Party leadership in Alaska before becoming Governor. Oh, and she walked away from a $125,000 a year gig to do it. THAT is the very definition of “principle over party”!

To this day Palin challenges the Republican Party on a daily basis.

I don’t normally tell people to shut up, but your ignorance and tedium has become boring, so good bye troll.

I love this man. LOVE. He is everything that America stands for. LOVE.

  40. “It’s no wonder he was one of the American Heroes that Sarah Palin has endorsed for Congress.”

LMAO – using Sarah Palin is NEVER good for anyone’s political career.

    • Gary P Jackson

Tell that to the over 100 people who are in office now because of her, including 5 governors, 2 states attorneys general and a bunch in Congress.

Ted Cruz recently pointed out in no uncertain terms that he and many others owe their careers to Palin.

      Nice try at trolling though.
