Bart Stupak: ObamaCare Is A Death Panel For Children

If you pass the Stupak amendment, more children will be born, and therefore it will cost us millions more. That’s one of the arguments I’ve been hearing,” Stupak says. “Money is their hang-up. Is this how we now value life in America? If money is the issue — come on, we can find room in the budget. This is LIFE we’re talking about.”

If was any doubt that Sarah Palin’s warning about the death cult the democrat party has become since the ultra-radical progressive movement wrested control of the party from it’s more reasonable members, the above quotes should end that debate for all time.

Those words come from democrat Congressman Bart Stupak. Congressman Stupak is one of just a handful of principled democrats left in government, and a real hero.

Stupak, of course, is talking about abortion funding here. You see, like most Americans, Congressman Stupak believes in the sanctity of life. He is leading a small group of like minded democrats who oppose tax payer funded abortion.

When Sarah Palin wrote her famous blog post pointing out the reality that her beautiful son, because of his disability, and her parents, because of their age, would not fare well when they went before ObamaCare’s “death panels” she was dead on.

Of course, the radical progressives lost their minds, and tried to discredit Sarah with all kinds of caterwauling and slight of hand, but at the end of the day, all Americans will face ObamaCare’s “death panels” each and every time they need health care.

Look, I won’t rehash all of this over and over. Long time readers as well as newcomers can search my blog archives for complete analysis. But here are the highlights:

First of all, yes, there will be “death panels” and no, they won’t be called that. As we have talked about, ad nauseam, there will be “comparative medicine boards” where a group of faceless, nameless bureaucrats will decide who gets care and who doesn’t. This won’t be based on what will be best for the patient, these people won’t be weighing on the best medical practices for an individual.

You see, these “comparative medicine boards” will be made up of accountants, bean counters. Their only goal will be saving the government, which will be in complete control of health care, money. The easiest way to cut costs is to deny, or limit, coverage to those deemed “unworthy.”

The ramifications from this twisted thinking are enormous.

Even worse, we all know that it is all but impossible to fire a government worker, once they are entrenched, and there will be almost no way to meaningfully appeal one of the poor decisions made by these government drones.

The bottom line is this: Once ObamaCare becomes law, the only thing that will matter to the government is shaving costs. Let’s face it, the government, because of entitlements already promised, is broke. Adding a couple of trillion dollars more, just to start, isn’t going to help matters a whole lot.

How will the government save money? By only treating the “productive” members of society, of course!

Rahm Emanuel’s brother, Dr Ezekiel Emanuel, Obama’s health care advisor, literally wrote the book that sets up, not only the “death panels” but the guidelines for who should be allowed to live, and who can be left to die.

Emanuel, vying for the title of “America’s Josef Mengele” wrote about the “complete lives system.” This lays out the argument that only the most productive deserve the best health care. Every American should read this. It comes from a truly diseased mind, and represents the progressive movement that controls the democrat party completely. Read it all here.

Here is a chart that explains the thinking of the radical left:

As you see, once you get past 30 years of age, the government won’t think very much of your ability to be productive. How insane is that?

What is so glaring to me though, is just how vile and cold these progressive democrats are. Of course, progressives have pushed the mass murder of babies since the turn of the last century. Ever since Margaret Sanger worked to make abortion acceptable, to “cleanse” the earth of blacks and other “human weeds” (her words) progressives have been on board. Sanger’s Planned Parenthood is the holy church of the progressive movement. The right to murder babies is one thing this bunch will actually go to war over.

Even so, for the death cult to openly admit they want massive tax payer funded abortions, and less babies…LESS AMERICANS… to save money for this unconstitutional ObamaCare boondoggle is simply breathtaking.

Quite simply, fewer babies means fewer people ObamaCare will have to cover.

There is something inherently evil in this sort of thinking.

Congressman Stupack made the above comments as part of a lengthy interview with National Review Online. The interview paints a horrific picture of what is happening with the health care debate is a must read. Here’s some more:

Sitting in an airport, on his way home to Michigan, Rep. Bart Stupak, a pro-life Democrat, is chagrined. “They’re ignoring me,” he says, in a phone interview with National Review Online. “That’s their strategy now. The House Democratic leaders think they have the votes to pass the Senate’s health-care bill without us. At this point, there is no doubt that they’ve been able to peel off one or two of my twelve. And even if they don’t have the votes, it’s been made clear to us that they won’t insert our language on the abortion issue.”

According to Stupak, that group of twelve pro-life House Democrats — the “Stupak dozen” — has privately agreed for months to vote ‘no’ on the Senate’s health-care bill if federal funding for abortion is included in the final legislative language. Now, in the debate’s final hours, Stupak says the other eleven are coming under “enormous” political pressure from both the White House and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.). “I am a definite ‘no’ vote,” he says. “I didn’t cave. The others are having both of their arms twisted, and we’re all getting pounded by our traditional Democratic supporters, like unions.”

Read it all here.

The sanctity of life, the protection of the innocent, is what sets us apart from the lower species. It should alarm all people, worldwide, that this President and his Congress not only want to promote the destruction of human life, in a crass attempt to save money for a health care overhaul that the American people don’t even want, but want the American people to pay for it too!

It’s fantastically evil.

It’s also one more reason that ObamaCare must be defeated and the progressives run completely out of government for all time.

First: I don’t agree with government controlled healthcare. It’s bad, cold, heartless, and unAmerican. But your piece has some things that were a little off-base.

One thing that has always pissed me off about people who think like this, is that it’s all double standards. So, clearly you are pro-life. I get it, it’s cool, and for the most part, I do agree. However, NO ONE, should get the right to make the reproductive decisions for women, except them. I’m sick to death of people saying abortion is wrong, but that forcing a pregnancy is okay, even if it’s potentially dangerous to the woman.

We need to stop this fucked up way of thinking.

Second: Obama is trying to push this through without the required number of votes, right? What the hell are we going to do about taking back our country? He and his cronies have done plenty to warrant impeachment in my opinion. The blatant disregard for the freaking constitution of our country ought to be enough. Even the Obama supporters are second guessing the decision to put him in office. I want his ass out, along with all the psycho, fascist, maniacs that he has driving this country to hell.

The big pharma companies with their faked research studies are the ones pushing for this shit, because they have the drug lobbyists and employees all over Washington and the FDA. What about people who don’t want to have toxic chemicals pumped throughout their bodies? I mean, really. Babies given vaccines contaminated with heavy metals, bacteria…making them sick. Mothers being told not to breastfeed and to give them formula, babies being given Hep b vax at birth, along with the vitamin K shot which can kill them. Doctors in this country are educated about what drugs to give for what symptoms, but not how to cure a condition.

The politics that got us here have to be stopped. When people only watch the news that’s owned by huge corporations whose CEO’s hold stock in certain companies, or have certain political links, that’s a bad thing. The country has been brainwashed for years and now we’re starting to wake up. I think this whole thing is going to get worse before it’ll get better.

what can we do? this is like a nightmare! can anyone stop them???

  4. Mark Green

This could turn into a world wide Problem. If they can do this to the people of the united states, they would have know problem starting world war 3 Three. These guys are bad news we need to get rid of Obama and his gang. He should be impeached if it were George bush the Dem’s would be screaming.

I disagree with you. Some time ago, I saw a child who was suffering from OCD. His doctor had prescribed Luvox, and it had worked, but lo and behold, the free samples died off – seems the drug maker didn’t want to give it away anymore. The private insurer who ran the boy’s health coverage refused to pay for the medication, and he verged on suicidal. Only with the help of a friend of the family and the Lions’ Club was a supply of this medication secured. The thing is, what you are defending is the status quo, the very same that nearly condemned the child I mention. Have you thought about that?

First of all one must understand that Obama is a Muslim. A decidedly antiChristian, antiJudaic cult centered around the eradication of these two groups. When this is accepted for the reality that it is, and not just fear-mongering, a more clear picture is presented on the ease of mind and lack of guilt he feels toward his healthcare/death panel government “care” overhaul. We so often take religion out of a picture that is predominantly a part of this monster’s central core, even if it isn’t ours, as a whole. Liberals play into this, and I include “progressives” in that bunch as well, as their view on religion and the existence of God are at best flighty, if not not completely absent from their set of beliefs. Obama’s god, allah, they believe, is just as real, and in fact is the SAME god, as that of the God of Christians and Jews. This is a mistake!
How could this be, when one god is trying to eradicate people he supposedly made promises to? I use capitalizations to distinguish between the two, as there is only one God of the Bible, and He is not the god known by Muslims as allah. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, who He later named Israel, is the Creator of the universe, and everything in it, while Obama’s god is, indeed, Satan himself, whose only aim in this world is to rob, steal and kill the soul, joy and eternal blessings of every man, woman and child on earth. You don’t have to go very far or read very much to se what a stark reality this is, and not just some whacko Bible thumper. The news is replete with accounts of actions from the “religion of peace”, every day. I am not condemning Muslims, but Islam itself, and I know that I am not alone in this.
In the face of these facts, is it very hard to take that extra effort to see into what Obama has for the citizens of America, or the Great Satan, as Islam has referred to us as for generations.

I have, unfortunately, been out of the news loop for a while and then I notice this article and I am sickened that a citizen of our country is even contemplating a healthcare plan like this for us. Who gets to decide that they get to play God? What right do they feel they have to do that just because they work for the government. What ever happened to “by the people, for the people”?

  8. Worried

How bad do things have to get, how much damage will he do, how long will he continue to put our country’s safety and well being at risk, before people have had enough?

In November, if enough people vote a straight Republican ticket, and the recovery of the Senate and House is successful, then the blight that we have in the White House will be left a ‘lame duck’ for the rest of his time in office.

  9. TJM

What a crock of s**t…Politicians and the various left and right leaning presses have screwed this country but royal…No one says the truth anymore unless it suit their particular slant, and then only the part of the truth they want shown is used…I am in my 50’s and am a registered representative…I have for years watched what the big health insurance companies did to my clients and now that someone is trying to take that abusive monopoly away, they are all screaming that it is wrong and they will self regulate…I call Bulls**t…Now all the politicians (who have nothing in common with me and have no idea what my life is like) are dancing at the end of the puppet strings from their various masters to block everything or the gravy train will stop…America better wake up quickly…The aggressive few will always lead the apathetic many, and the many are to lazy to vote all these fools and liars out…Republicans and Democrats have forgotten why they are in DC…They were sent by the citizens to serve our needs…Not vote along party lines, not vote based on what PAC gave them the most money, but to protect and help the citizens of the USA…I dont feel helped nor protected…I feel despair…

  10. THANK YOU Bart Stupack! I am a staunch conservative, not particularly Republican, but definitely agree more with their ideas. You and your 12 are the glimmer of hope on the Democratic side. I cannot believe that ‘goverment by and of the people’ has become this CRAP we see today. I believe the ENTIRE government should have to run for re-election and let ‘The People’ put back in those that speak for US!

  11. Allen

Actually, most Americans believe in abortion rights. That’s why abortion is legal. All major surveys show that the majority of Americans believe in abortion rights.

Also, it’s not “democrat,” it’s “Democrat.” The adjective form of “Democrat” is “Democratic.”

    • Gary P

No, actually…it’s the exact opposite, most polls show that Americans are by far pro-life. And by FAR Americans oppose federal funding for abortion. That’s why it has always be PROHIBITED, by law. http://www.pollingreport.com/abortion.htm

Abortion was legal in certain states since the turn of the 20th century. Many states, as was their right, banned it, or severely limited abortions. It wasn’t until Norma McCorvey (Jane Roe) agreed to participate in what amounted to the Scopes Monkey Trial (a put up deal…a test trial) that saw SCOTUS “find” rights that no one knew about. It wasn’t the “right” to abortion, BTW, it was the “right” of privacy.

Roe is bad law, not because of abortions, but because it usurps state’s rights, the 10th Amendment. BTW, McCorvey, who never actually had an abortion herself, has become one of the most outspoken opponents, traveling worldwide to speak out against it.

Barack Obama is a real monster when it comes to this issue, a truly evil man, he opposed the “Born Alive Act” not only in the US Senate (all 143 days he actually showed up for work) And actively worked against it for years. In other words, if a doctor somehow botches the abortion, and a baby is born, which happens, Obama and his evil friends support allowing the baby to die. Google “Obama” and “Born Alive” and you will see just what kind of monster this vile man is.

And it is “democrat” always has been. Ain’t nothing “democratic” about these losers.

  12. H. Edward Camp

I agree with the basic premise of this article. The idea that we can take millions from the Medicare System and “It won’t affect the care of the elderly” is patently absurd. I also agree that the best way to save monies is deny care and we’ll see a lot of that. The comment “These decisions will be up to Doctors not insurance companies” again absurd. Decisions will be up to government accountants rather than private pay ones. At least with private pay there will be appeals processes in place. Its also interesting to note that alternative care such as Chiropractic isn’t even being considered as part of the government plan. Yes the system is broken but the current “Plan” I believe is far more flawed than the one it purports to fix.

Man you said it! And as someone who has benefited from a visits to the chiropractor, I know where you are coming from. I live in a hospital town, we have one of the top hospital systems in the nation, it’s on par with the Mayo system.

Long story short, to a man and woman, absolutely EVERYONE you talk to, doctor, nurse, aide, whatever, and not just opposed to this unconstitutional mess, they a loudly opposed.

Last year Investor’s Business Daily commissioned a poll. Nearly half the doctors surveyed said if this insult to humanity became law, they’d consider quitting!
