It’s a sign of the times, and the political climate that I’m having to write this while Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords clings to life and others mourn the death of loved ones including Federal District Court Judge John Roll, and a nine year old girl. But here we are.
Within minutes of the shootings, the left wing bloggers and the so-called mainstream media immediately started blaming this tragedy on Sarah Palin, the Tea Party, and Conservative politics in general. Congresswoman Giffords, of course, is a democrat, so obviously some right winger did this.At least according to the disgusting people pointing fingers before fact one was in.
The fact is, the shooter, Jared Loughner, is crazy. Period.
Now the guy’s rants are absolutely in line with the leftist points of view, and among other things, he claims his favorite books are the Communist Manifesto, and Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf.
Jared Loughner is obviously a nut. He rants against our currency because it isn’t backed by gold. Claims to hate God, as well as people who use poor grammar.This is not someone who is of sound mind.
After looking at the information on Loughtner, his rants, his websites, and so on, I think the best way to describe him is as an anarchist, much like Joseph Stack, the 53 year old software engineer who flew his small plane into the IRS building in Austin, Texas last February. Stack was also an anarchist, and had rantings eerily similar to Loughner’s. .
Catie Parker, a friend of Loughner’s, took to Twitter today calling him “very left wing.” He’s also being described as a “political radical” a “loner” and “obsessed with the 2012 prophecies.” You can see her Twitter feed here.
It was reported on Parker’s feed that Loughner had an altercation with Congresswoman Giffords in 2007.
Pamela Geller on her Atlas Shrugs website has done a marvelous job of rapidly collecting a great deal of information on Loughner. I highly recommend everyone check out what she has compiled here.
The Daily Caller is reporting that Loughner has had other run-ins with the law in Arizona.

A I pointed out at the start, it angers me that I’m having to write this while lives hang in the balance and we morn the dead. But the corrupt, dishonest media in this country, and the left wing bloggers like Markos Moulitsas of the Daily Kos, and Paul Krugman of the New York Times, and even some democrat politicians, started blaming Conservatives, tea partiers, and most especially Sarah Palin for this tragedy immediately, without one single fact known by anyone.
So, the record must be set straight.
This is standard operating procedure for the left in this country though. Ironically, when left winger Joseph Stack, who we mentioned earlier, flew his plane into the Austin IRS building, the usual suspects immediately blamed it on some “crazy tea partier.” When it was learned he was a left wing nutter, like Loughner, they changed the subject. Never apologizing to the nation for their misinformation.
We will have plenty of time in the days ahead to go after the corrupt media and disgusting left wingers who were so quick to hurl lies and even threats at Conservatives in general, and Sarah Palin in particular, over this despicable act by a crazy man. Now though, I think there is a better use of our time and effort.
I’d like to ask all of our readers to pray for Congresswoman Giffords, Gabby’s, speedy recovery. The best news out of this entire situation is she survived and is expected to recover. Prayers should also be said for the family of Judge Roll, as well as the young girl who was killed, and everyone else dead or injured. That is a far better use of our time and effort.

The guy was crazy. Period. Reading Marx is no more an indication that he was politically liberal than reading “Mein Kampf” is. How is “Mein Kampf” a liberal treatise? Why, as a liberal, would he read “Atlas Shrugged”? The guy was a government-hating anarchist whose rants make no sense and have no political basis. He wanted a return to the gold standard and imagined new letters of the alphabet and new symbols for numbers. He was crazy. ‘Nuff said.
Interesting, now that the guy has been proven to be a left wing radical, “it doesn’t matter.”

Lougner’s statements don’t easily fit in to any mainstream political category. I’d have difficulty calling him leftist since none of his statements seem to chime with any typical left-wing ideology. Likewise I don’t see any resemblance between his words and any of the bigger right-wing movements. He’s certainly not a tea-partier!
Garry’s rhetoric seems rather overblown since we cannot easily fit Loughner into any political mould simply by checking his bookshelf. Yes he read the communist manifesto, the quintessential historical left-wing book.
Mein Kamph is not normally considered a “leftist” book. Historians overwhelmingly consider Adolph Hitler to be an extreme right-wing figure.
Ayn Rand (also on Loughner’s reading list) is mostly read by people whose politics is right of center.
I dont think we can even safeuly call Loughner an anarchist, at least not in any conventional sense. He may have had an anarchic disposition but that’s not the same thing as advocating for the political theory of anarchism. There was nothing at all like that in his writing.
If anything I’d say he was a deluded soul, suckered in by a bunch of conspiracy theories. I’m told that he was particularly fond of a movie called Zeitgeist which alleges that virtually every movement from Christianity to the Federal government is part of one big conspiracy theory. Yes, he was a deluded nut, but no he does not appear to have been guided by any mainstream American politics.
Loughner was very much a left-winger. People who actually knew him called him “very liberal” a “left-winger” and “politically extreme.”
He’s an atheist, hates America, and his favorite videos are of flag burnings. That’s as left-wing as it gets.
As for Mein Kampf, and the Nazis, the only people who think Nazis were “extreme right wingers” are brain washed democrats.

BTW, it was her and other democrat eugenicists who inspired Hitler and Mengele. Hitler found the Jews inferior, just as Sanger found the Negro inferior.
Oh, and how about democrat Woodrow Wilson? He was one of the most racist human beings to ever live in America. He re-segregated the military, as well as government offices. His favorite film was “Birth of a Nation” which was a pro KKK slobberfest.
He also interned German-Americans during WWI. Rounded up American citizens of German descent.
Of course, not to be outdone, FDR rounded up all of the Japanese- Americans in WWII.

I’d like to see you present evidence that Stalin treated jews and other minorities as “equals”. He was pretty down on minorities too, but lacked the industrial killing machines of Hitler’s concentration-camps. His killing techniques were hideous, but just not as famous.
Awful things happened during Mao’s “cultural revolution” and Pol-Pot’s “killing fields”, both of which purged their societies of their educated middle-classes. Hundreds of thousands of innocent people were banished from their homes and sent to plow infertile fields – treated no better than cattle.
The communist dictatorships of the 20th century were truly terrible, frightening regimes. They butchered and starved their own people at the whim of party ideologues. They sent people to freeze to death in the arctic and they devised brutal methods of torture which they used without restraint. This was government at it’s most authoritarian, without any constitutional limits.
Let’s be honest – Obama’s policies are not that far from Liberal Republicans. He’s far closer to the center of America’s political spectrum than it’s fringe.
I just want to be clear to my fellow conservatives who like to call their democratic opposition “communists” and “fascists” – you simply undermine our own position. The Democrats and Obama are clearly nothing at all like communists and fascists: They are simply wrong about a great many issues. It’s our job as responsible pro-constitutional conservatives to point this out and not to allow ourselves to be dragged down into the gutter-debate of foolish name-calling.

The fact is, Barack Obama was RAISED a communist. His mother and father were both very committed Communists. His mother’s parents were active Communists. They moved from Kansas to Seattle Washington so they could be close to other communists. They attended the “Little Red Church” a well know Communist clearing house.
Obama’s grandfather [his mother’s father] actually worked helping the Soviets against America.
When Obama’s mother dumped little Barry on her parent’s door step, her dad felt he needed a black “father figure” so he chose anti-American Communist Frank Marshall Davis to be Barry’s mentor. Davis was so radical he was kicked out of the NAACP.
The democrat party has been full of Socialists and Communists for 100 years.
Remember, one of Obama’s top advisors, Anita Dunn, openly said Mao Tse Tung was her favorite “philosopher” and in 2009 photos from the Christmas at the White House showed tree ornaments with Mao’s likeness on them. Oddly, [or maybe not] no pictures were released this year.
Van Jones was another high ranking Communist in the Obama regime. A Communist revolutionary who has called for the destruction of the United States.
Calling them what they are doesn’t undermine a damned thing. The time for timidity has passed. Playing nice with democrats is a losing proposition. They don’t play nice. Never have. They have an evil agenda for America. They want to destroy America as we know it, and set up their version of a Communist utopia.
It’s the job of every American to stop them by any legal means necessary.

Not true at all. Stalin’s KGB and NKVD trained the Nazi SS on how to construct and operate Concentration Camps. This is WELL documented and there are both Nazi and Soviet propaganda tapes to show it. These were compiled and illustrated in the movie “The Soviet Story.” Stalin realized that these camps were inefficient for killing so Mass Starvation worked much better, a technique which was adopted by Mao. Leftists LOVE mass starvation and they still gloat over the idea of doing that to Americans today.

Gary P, I like the sincerity with which you write. I’m afraid that you really are exaggerating:
There’s no way you can look at Obama’s policy platform and say that he is a “communist”. The best you can do is show that he associated with people who almost certainly were communist sympathisers at some stage in their lives. Some of these people may also still be socialists, but that’s not exactly the same thing.
Rather than assembling a case based entirely on circumstantial evidence, association and quotations (possibly taken out of context), you’d be better of by showing how Obama’s policies resemble the historic policies of Stalin or Mao’s communist regimes.
I’ve noticed that some people try to do this – for example by comparing Obama care to Cuba’s state-monopolized healthcare system. Unfortunately once you look at the two systems you have to realize that they are nothing like each other. Obamacare is really a government backed hand-out to the health-insurance industry that bankroll the Democrats, whereas Cuba really does have a socialist single-payer system.
If we want to be accurate we should point out how the ideas behind Obamacare are fraudulent, however to call them Communist is silly because nothing vaguely like it ever existed in any of the world’s actual communist countries.

Obama was a member of the “New Party” in Chicago. That’s an affiliate of the Communist Party of America. This is a guy who was raised from birth to hate America as it stands. Both parents, and both sets of grandparents were hard core Communists.

Remember, one of his closest buddies is William Ayers, a terrorist who tried to blow America up, and was ready, if they had won the revolution, to murder as many as 25 million Americans, the estimated number of people would not have gone along with their plans.
